This paper explores two articulatory characteristics of inter-consonantal coordination observed in lingual-lingual (/kt/, /ks/) and labial-lingual (/pt/) sequences. Using electromagnetic articulometry (EMMA), temporal aspects of the lip movement and lingual movement (of the tongue tip and the tongue dorsum) were examined. Three sequences (/ks/, /kt/, /pt/) were investigated in two respects: gestural overlap in C1C2 and formation duration of coronals in C2 (/t/ or /s/). Results are summarized as follows. First, in a sequence of two stop consonants gestural overlap did not vary with order contrast or a low-level motor constraint on lingual articulators. Gestural overlap between two stop consonants was similar in both /kt/ (lingual-lingual; back-to-front) and /pt/ (labial-lingual; front-to-back). Second, gestural overlap was not simply constrained by place of articulation. Two coronals (/s/ and /t/) shared the same articulator, the tongue tip, but they showed a distinctive gestural overlap pattern with respect to /k/ in C1 (/ks/ (less overlap) < /kt/ (more overlap)). Third, temporal duration of the tongue tip gesture varied as a function of manner of articulation of the target segment in C2 (/ks/ (shorter) < /kt/ (longer)) as well as a function of place of articulation of the segmental context in C1 (/pt/ (shorter) < /kt/ (longer)). There are several implications associated with the results from Korean non-assimilating contexts. First, Korean can be better explained in the way of its language-specific gestural pattern; gestural overlap in Korean is not simply attributed to order contrast (front-to-back vs. back-to-front) or a physiological motor constraint on lingual articulators (lingual-lingual vs. nonlingual-lingual). Taking all factors into consideration, inter-gestural coordination is influenced not only by C1 (place of articulation) but also C2 (manner of articulation). Second, the jaw articulator could have been a factor behind a distinctive gestural overlap pattern in different C1C2 sequences (/ks/ (less overlap) vs. /kt/ and /pt/ (more overlap)). A language-specific gestural pattern occurred with reference to a physiological motor constraint on the jaw articulator.

The development of modern industry and the production of new materials of architecture have recognized as an important aspect. This study intended to discuss about the meaning of main elements of the architecture materials, its implications for properties, and, highlighted meaning of the properties of modern interior design. The purpose of this study is to analyze the case studies of Place and Physical materials of synaesthesia of modern architecture as well as modern architecture is not only concentrated in the visual aspect but also the larger ramifications of sensory. Synesthesia in architectural space can be called experiential existence that built in the space of human perception and based on the human emotion that targeted by physical architectural space. Accordingly, these case studies are to consider about how the materials being passed by any effect in a modern interior space presented, In order to find the essential meaning in modern interior space, this studies focused on Swiss architect Peter Zumthor's cases. Following analyze of Peter Zumthor's place of architectural space and materials, this study structured by the six kinds of synesthesia characters. First, time and remember to infer changes, Second, traditional and regional ingredients involve the substitution of one empirical space, Third, non-materiality through the neutralization, Fourth, auditory memory through the embodiment of everydayness, Fifth, trail through the sense of smell for the presence, Sixth, the relationship of natural and industrial products. Peter Zumthor's characteristics of these works are result of factors on the synesthetic relationship with the human response to architecture, the five senses, memories, experiences, and temperature. Also it is a synesthetic result of all human emotion to clarify of the architecture materials and non-material mediums by which light by a compound.

Comfortable sleeping itself is thought to be very much important to have great influence upon remaining lives. Bed-clothes can be an essential factor of comfortable bedding. Korea that has four seasons requires different blanket each season. The Koreans make change of use of the quilt at least 2 to 3 times a year. The quilt may vary depending upon use of either Ondol or bed. Brand bedding governs quilt market. Brand bedding shops have good cognition of customers to be located at the place easy to find out and to have various kinds of products and excellent designs and to take the lead in all of the areas. Non-brand bedding products are difficult to compete with brand products at the bedding market. This study investigated cases of not only management of non brand bedding but also competition between brand bedding and non brand bedding. First, How does non brand bedding elevate competitiveness to win at competition with brand bedding? Second, How dose non brand quilt's approach to consumers and sales strategies?

Intraperitoneal injection of morphine (5 mg/kg) in mice every other day for 8 days produced conditioned place preference (CPP). CPP effects were evaluated by assessing the difference in time spent in the drug-paired compartment and the saline-paired compartment of the place conditioning apparatus. The injection of a non-competitive NMDA antagonist, MK-801 (0.05 and 0.1 mg/kg, i.p.), prior to and during morphine treatment in mice Inhibited morphine-induced CPP. The development of postsynaptic dopamine (DA) receptor supersensitivity in mice displaying a morphine-induced CPP was evidenced by the enhanced response in ambulatory activity to the DA agonist, apomorphine (2 mg/kg). MK-801 inhibited that development of postsynaptic DA receptor supersensitivity MK-801 also inhibited apomorphine-induced climbing behavior, suggesting that MK-801 Inhibits dopaminergic activation mediated via the NMDA receptor.

While the ideal universality of the modern period has achieved outstanding results in terms of establishing sanitary cities in contemporary urban environments, it has caused the decline of the genius loci. This study raises the question of the lost sense of place and proposes a solution, 'The Human-Environmental Ecological City'. The Human-Environmental Ecological City, called 'Ecoumenal City', does not provide a fake idealism with the conclusion of modernity of non-place or sense of place without modernity. It is both cosmological and geogenic, and the technology of the time is projected onto it human-environmentally. It does not pursue any more a urban planning as the overall work of an individual, but it aims at a balance rediscovered through the individual spontaneousness.

RC frames built prior to the advent of the philosophy of ductile concrete is one type of existing construction susceptible to damage. Strengthening and stiffening of such frames has been accomplished by infilled frames with cast-in-place, reinforced concrete walls. Placement of CIP shear walls within strategic bays of a structure appears to be a logical and economical method to strengthen a reinforced concrete frame and to stiffen a building in order to reduce architectural and mechanical damage. This study investigates the seismic performance of cast-in place infilled shear wall within existing frames. The object of this study is to clarify the seismic capacity and characteristics in the hysteretic behavior of bare frame, CIP infilled shear wall and CIP infilled wall reinforced diagonal bars.

시청이동 및 기기이동 이용 판결논리를 토대로 슬링박스를 이용한 TV프로그램의 장소이동 시청의 법적 성격을 공정이용 관점에서 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 소니 판결과 RIAA 판결에 기초하면 장소이동 시청은 비상업적인 사적 이용으로서 공정이용에 해당된다. 냅스터 판결을 적용시킬 경우, 장소이동 시청은 슬링박스 구매자에게만 저작물이 노출되므로 공정이용이지만, 장소이동 기능의 공유는 저작권침해 책임 논란의 소지가 크다. 반면 이용자의 편의성 도모는 저작권 취지에서 벗어난다는 이유로 시간 및 공간이동 기능의 공정이용을 부인한 소니 사건의 2심과 MP3.com 판결에 따르면, 장소이동 시청은 공정이용에 포함되지 않는다. 또한 방송콘텐츠에 미치는 경제적 효과는 플랫폼 확장 차원에서 긍정적이지만, 다양한 단말이 저작권자의 후속시장이 된다는 점에서 부정적이다. 장소이동 시청의 법적 쟁점은 결국 기술혁신과 저작권의 충돌에서 비롯되었다는 점에서 새로운 매체의 법적 책임 분석기준인 "혁신매체의 항변" 을 제안해 본다.

'장소'에 주목하는 기존의 대중서사 연구들에서는 공간과 장소의 구별을 이론적 토대로 하는 경향이 있다. 이에 따르면 한마디로 공간은 이동적이고 장소는 정주적이다. 그렇다면 고도 모빌리티 시대, 즉 이동의 공간이 정주의 장소를 빠르고 광범위하게 잠식하는 것처럼 보이는 시대에도 이러한 의미의 장소에 주목하는 대중서사 연구는 여전히 유효할 것인가? 이 글은 데이비드 시먼(David Seamon)의 저서 『삶은 장소에서 일어난다: 현상학, 생활세계들, 그리고 장소 만들기(Life Takes Place: Phenomenology, Lifeworlds, and Place Making)』를 중심으로 고도 모빌리티 시대에 장소에 주목하는 대중서사 연구의 가능성을 모색한다. 이 책은 현상학적 방법론에 기초하여 장소를 탐구하기 위해, 통합적 관계성(synergistic relationality)을 디딤돌로 하여 이른바 전진적 점근(progressive approximation)이라는 이론적 틀을 활용한다. 이에 따르면 장소는 먼저 하나의 전체, 즉 단자(monad)로 연구되어야 한다. 하나의 전체로서의 장소 단자에 대한 현상학적 연구는 장소가 인간의 근본 조건임을 식별한다. 그 다음 연구의 '전진적' 순서에 따라, 장소를 이항대립들의 결합체인 양자(dyad)로서 연구한다. 이에 따르면 운동/정지, 내부성/외부성, 평범함/비범함, 내향성/외향성, 본향/이향이 다섯 가지의 양자로 식별된다. 그러나 이러한 이항대립을 넘어서기 위해 이제 연구는 장소 삼자(triad)라는 상위 차수(order)로 이행하는데, 여기에는 장소상호작용, 장소 정체성, 장소 해방, 장소 실현, 장소 강화, 장소 창조가 포함된다. 이를 통해 장소에 대한 연구는 장소의 본질을 향해 전진적으로 점근하여 가는 것이다. 이 풍부하고 통찰적인 책의 저자는 고도 모빌리티 시대의 장소라는 물음을 스스로 제기하면서, 이에 대해 장소가 여전히 인간의 근본 운명이라는 답변을 제출한다. 그러나 이러한 답변은 여전히 공간/장소 및 이동/정주라는 이항대립에 머물러 있는 듯 보인다. 이 글에서는 이러한 이항대립을 넘어설 가능성, 그리고 이동의 실천을 통해 '장소 만들기'를 수행할 가능성을 대안적 답변으로 제시하고, 이러한 관점에서 대중서사 연구가 어떻게 이루어질 수 있는지 사례를 제시하고자 한다.

This study examines female new seniors' clothing consumption behaviors, such as their information sources, clothing store selection criteria, and perceived importance of sales associates' attributes, based on their level of clothing involvement. A face-to-face survey was conducted through a market research firm. The subjects of this study were female adults in their 50s and 60s residing in the Seoul metro area (N=197). Significant differences were found in the clothing consuming behaviors of new seniors depending on their clothing involvement(CI). High-CI new seniors tended to place more importance on both personal and non-personal information sources than low-CI new seniors. High-CI new seniors place importance both "merchandise assortment and store atmosphere" and "sales associates and service" when they select stores for clothing than low-CI new seniors. In terms of sales associates' attributes, high-CI new seniors tend to place more importance on customer-orientation than medium- and low-CI groups. Medium- and high-CI new seniors tend to place more importance on appearance than low-CI groups. However, there were no significant statistical differences for professional expertise among the three different CI groups.

본 연구는 근대에 조성되기 시작한 서울의 도시공원의 조성과 관련한 제 전반의 사항들이 어떤 흐름으로 변화해왔는지를 고찰하기 위함을 주요 목적에 두고 시작하였다. 이를 위해 개방 이후 조성된 서울의 대부분 공원들이 다양한 형태의 기념성, 상징성을 내포하고 있거나 혹은 장소 자체 기억을 재현할 것이라는 가설을 전제하고 연구를 착수하였다. 공원 내 상징성, 기념성, 장소기억의 물리적 혹은 비 물리적 요소들의 재현양상을 살펴보면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 공원 내 기념성 및 상징성이 물리적인 형태로 나타나는 경우 기념비, 동상 등의 형태를 띠는 경우가 많이 있으며, 이는 공원의 조성 목적이 기념공원에 부합하는 경우 좀 더 적극적인 형태로 기념비적 요소들이 많이 사용되었다. 그 이외의 경우는 공원 전체의 개념과는 관계없이 국가에서 임의로 지정한 상징성을 띠는 조각물이나 동상들이 많이 사용되었다. 장소기억의 경우, 과거에는 기념성이나 상징성 구현 방법과 같이 동상이나 일부 건조물 등으로 표현되는 경우가 많았으나, 최근에는 일정 시기 장소기억을 공원 전체에 조화시키는 양상을 띠기 시작한다. 둘째, 비 물리적 재현요소들의 경우 공원 명칭에서 기념성 및 상징성을 드러내는 경우가 많다. 최근에 들어서는 명칭에서 직접적으로 드러내는 경우는 많이 약화되었다고 볼 수 있으나. 공원의 부분 장소 명칭에서 장소기억과 관련하여 지어지는 경우가 많아졌다. 공원 내에서 벌어지는 이벤트의 경우, 탑골공원 등 개방 초기 조성된 공원들에서 일부 당시의 시대 상황을 기념하기 위해 설정된 경우 등이 있었다. 장소기억이 강조되어 최근 조성된 공원들의 경우 이와 관련하기 보다는 다양한 형태로 시민참여를 유도하는 것을 가장 큰 목적에 두고 설정되는 경우가 많다.
