대전지역 대학생의 스트레스와 식생활관리 조사(II) (Stress and Dietary Life of College Students in Daejeon Area(II))

  • 남녀 대학생의 스트레스 정도와 식생활관리조사(I)에서는 조사대상자의 일반적 특성, 체중, 신장, BMI, 조사대상자의 성별에 따른 BMI에 의한 비만도, 스트레스를 받는 정도와 지속성, 스트레스를 받는 경우 음식섭취에 관한 사항, 스트레스의 원인과 해소방법에 대해 조사하였다. 연구 (I)에 이어 본 연구에서는 조사대상자의 일반적 특성에 따른 스트레스 시 선호하는 음식 맛과의 관계, 스트레스 해소를 위해 음식 섭취 후 느낌과의 관계, 스트레스와 생활 습관의 관계, 스트레스와 성격과의 관계, 스트레스와 비만도(BMI)의 관계에 대해 조사하였다. 스트레스 시 선호하는 맛은 매운 맛과 단맛이며 스트레스 해소를 위해 음식 섭취 후 느낌은 조사대상자의 연령, 전공, 한 달간 사용 용돈에 따라서는 유의한 차이가 없었다. 수면과 건강상태가 나쁠수록 스트레스가 심하고 운동량, 흡연량, 음주량, 평소 건강에 대한 관심에 따른 스트레스 정도에도 유의적인 차이는 없었다. 또한 성격이 급할수록 스트레스 정도가 심하며 비만도에 따른 스트레스 정도에는 유의적인 차이가 없었다. 이상의 결과로 대학생들의 스트레스 관리를 위한 올바른 식생활과 생활태도 실천에 대한 영양교육이 요구된다.

경남지역 일부 남자대학생의 문제음주에 영향을 미치는 요인 (Factors affecting Problematic Drinking of Male College Students in the Gyeongnam Area)

  • This study investigated the factors affecting problematic drinking amongst the male university students of the Changwon area (n=367). The participants were divided into 3 groups, and undertook the self-report questionnaire survey. Based on the AUDIT (Alcohol Use Disorders Identification Test) guidelines, problematic drinking were rated as 'no problem' (28.8%), 'at-risk drinking' (41.7%), and 'alcohol abuse' (29.5%). Our study revealed that students living alone, indulged in more club activities, and drank more than 3 cans of carbonated drinks a day; this was significantly high on the AUDIT score (p<0.05). Participation in education was significantly higher (p<0.05), but intention to reduce the monthly alcohol consumption was significantly lower (p<0.001) in the alcohol abuse group. Recognition level of drinking cultures, drinking habits, AUDIT, and nicotine dependence were significantly higher in the alcohol abuse group (p<0.001). Recognition level of drinking cultures and nicotine dependence by the FTND (Fagerstrom Test for Nicotine Dependence) positively correlated with problematic drinking, whereas dietary guidelines and self-esteem showed a negative correlation with problematic drinking (p<0.05). Based on the results of multiple linear regression analysis, the factors affecting problematic drinking were recognition level of drinking cultures (${\beta}=0.47$, p<0.001) and nicotine dependence (${\beta}=0.23$, p<0.001). We conclude that implementation of health education for university students, would aid in rectifying the incorrect perception of drinking. Furthermore, both drinking and smoking should be considered simultaneously.

영향위험 농촌 노인집단에 적용한 영양중재 프로그램의 추후관리 효과(II) (The Effect of Follow-up Nutrition Intervention Programs Applied Aged Group of High Risk Undernutrition in Rural Area(II))

  • This research has done for 67 undernutrition people of the aged men and women that are practiced follow-up nutrition intervention programs for 9weeks. The result of health related status, eating habit, food attitude and food intake for 2days is as following. 37.3% of objected old people are drinking, 20.9% of those are smoking and 29.9% of those are exercising. 55.2% of objected old people of the second intervention program about self-rated health say good. Sleeping hours of 25.4% of objected old people is from 6 to 8 hours. Meal amount and appetite above 98% of objected old people, compared to those of before sixty age, are decreasing and similar. 67.8% or 70.1% of the objected old people, compared to those of before sixty age, say same in sweet and salt taste. More significantly increased food group in after intervention than before intervention is vegetables and animal foods. There is no difference between management group and comparison group by ANCOVA analysis. DDS and DVS in management group are no significant differences between before intervention and after intervention.

충청지역 일부 공업고등학교 실습생의 용접흄 및 망간에 대한 노출 평가 (Exposure Evaluation to Total Welding Fume and Manganese at Technical High Schools in Choong-Nam Area)

  • Geometric mean of airborne welding fume concentration at technical high schools was 4.80mg/㎥(N.D∼35.39mg/㎥) and the percentage of samples exceeded TLV of the Korean ministry of labor was 43.6%, Geometric mean of airborne Mn concentration was 0.06mg/㎥(N.D∼0.42mg/㎥) and the percentage of samples exceeded TLV of ACGIH was 15.4%. In case of airborne Mn concentration, there is a significant difference among schools (P<0.05). Mn concentrations in blood of the exposed and control groups were 1.84$\mu\textrm{g}$/㎗ and 1.91$\mu\textrm{g}$/㎗, respectively. Mn concentrations in urine of the exposed and control groups were 1.36$\mu\textrm{g}$/$\ell$ and 0.57$\mu\textrm{g}$/$\ell$, respectively. In case of Mn concentrations in urine, there is a significant difference between both groups(P<0.001) and among schools(P<0.05). Mn concentrations in blood and urine of exposed group were not over BEIs of the Korean ministry of labor. Mn levels in blood and urine were not significantly affected by smoking, drinking and residence. There was no correlation between Mn concentration in air and blood, but there was a statistically significant correlation between Mn concentration in air and urine(r=0.323). There was no a Statistically significant correlation between Mn concentration in blood and urine.

농촌 성인 남녀의 단백질 섭취 실태 및 급원과 식습관, 기호품과의 관계 (A Survey of Protein Nutrition of Rural Adults in Korea and A Correlation between Their Protein Nutrition and Their Food Habits)

  • The purpose of this study is to provide useful information which will aid in the promotion of nutritional policy in the Korean rural area which are derived from a survey of intake and source of protein in some Korean rural adults and the correlations between their protein nutrition and various nutrients, the uses of tobacco, alcohol, coffee, etc. The survey was conducted from July, 24 through July, 18, 1989. The healthy subjects were 45 males(average age 42.3, average BMI 22.1kg/m2) and 55 females (44 years, 21.2 kg/m2) residing in Sungjoo Kyun, Chulanam-Do, Korea. The subjects were examined for the anthropometric, food Intake and food habits. Their daily diets were measured by 24-hr recall method. The results can be summarized as follows : The daily mean protein intakes of male and female subjects were 9595 of RDA(66, 5g) (16. 7% of total food intake per day) and 102.3Bh of RDA(61g) (14.8% of total intake per day) respectively. The order of sources of animal protein in all subjects was fish(47.9%), meat(29.8%), milk (12%), and egg(10.3%). Among protein sources the intake frequencies of fork and chicken were higher than those of others. The protein nutrition of the subjects showed positive correlations with energy and fat, carbohydrate, fiber at the level of significance of 1%. The protein nutrition of the male subjects showed no correlation with age, BMI, uses of alcohol, coffee, medicine, but the plant protein nutrition showed a positive correlation with smoking and exercise(at 5%). And the protein nutrition of the male subjects showed no correlations with uses of tobacco, alcohol, coffee, medicine and their opinion of their present state of their health, but the age of the male subjects showed negative correlations with milk(at 1%) and egg(at 5%). In conclusion, the daily protein Intake was good and the main sources of animal protein were fishes in rural adults. The protein nutrition of the subjects showed a correlation with energy, fat, carbohydrate and in the case of female, milk and egg intakes showed the negative correlation with age.

대학생의 삶의 질과 관련 요인 (Quality of Life and Its Related Factors among University Students)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship among health behavior, obesity and QOL, and to identify factors affecting QOL of University Students in rural area, to provide the basic data for health promoting program in order to improve the QOL. Methods: The subjects of this study were 991 university students. The collected data was analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Scheffe's test, Pearson correlation coefficient and Stepwise multiple regression with SAS. Results: In the degree of the obesity were 13.4% of the underweight group, 48.9% of the normal weight group, and 37.6% of the overweight group. The average item score for the QOL was 3.19; the highest score on the subscale was physical domains(M=3.25) with the lowest environmental domains. In the degree of health behavior performance were 15.3% of regular health check, 27.5% of exercise, 45.1% of no-smoking, 32.4% of no-drinking alcohol, 53.1% of sleeping 7-hour, 49.7% of weight care, 56.1% of stress management, and 44.4% of breakfast. The score of QOL was statistically significant difference according to age, occupation of father, the number of brothers, total income, level of life, perceived health status, and admission of hospital. The score of QOL correlated positively with health behavior(r=.2521, p<.0001), and the scores of health behavior correlated positively with obesity(r=.0915, p=.0039). Stepwise multiple regression analysis for QOL revealed that the most powerful predictor was level of life. Stress management, perceived health status, sleeping 7-hour, regular health check, admission of hospital, total income, and weight care explained 13.2% of the variance. Conclusions: Therefore, it is necessary to develop health behavior promotion program in order to enhance the quality of life of university students. Future studies need to be pursued to find significant influencing factors for QOL of university students.

사업장(事業場) 근로자(勤勞者)의 사상체질(四象體質)과 생활습관(生活習慣)에 따른 스트레스의 평가(評價) (The Study on Stress Evaluation with Sasang Constitution and Lifestyle for Labors in Workplace)

  • This study tried to evaluate the difference of stress degree by Sasang constitution and lifestyle for workplace labors, and suggested the preventive oriental medicine approaches in occupational health area. 479 data for research were collected through the process of oriental health examination with questionnaire in workplace, and collected data were analyzed with frequency, crosstab, and Two-Way ANOVA. The results were as follows: 1) All subjects, total 479 were men, and constitutional distributions were 39.2% of Taeumin, 32.4% of Soumin, and 28.4% of Soyangin. The distributions of stress score were 13.2% of normal group, 13.4% of high risk group, and 73.5% of potential risk group. 2) There were no statistically significant differences for stress by constitution(p=0.085). By the results of optimal scaling and homogeneity analysis, Soyangin was close to potential risk group compared to other constitution, and Soumin and Taeumin were close to high risk and normal group, respectively. 3) For the difference of stress score by Sasang constitution and lifestyle, Soumin who exercised nearly everyday had the highest stress score with interaction in Factor 4 area(p<0.05), and there was no interaction in other area. 4) For the difference of PWI score by lifestyle, there were statistically significant differences for drinking(p<0.01), smoking(p<0.01), and obesity index(p<0.01)

정상 흉부 단층촬영 검사에서 흡연 및 폐쇄성 폐질환 유무에 따른 정량화 검사 분석 (Quantitative CT Analysis Based on Smoking Habits and Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease in Patients with Normal Chest CT)

  • 목적 정상으로 보이는 chest CT를 정량화 분석하여 흡연 및 폐쇄성 폐질환(chronic obstructive pulmonary disease; 이하 COPD) 여부에 따른 차이가 있는지 확인하고자 하였다. 대상과 방법 2013년 1월부터 2014년 12월까지 chest CT가 정상이면서 정량화 분석이 있는 90명의 남자 환자[COPD 없는 비흡연자(n = 38)와 흡연자(n = 45), COPD 흡연자(n = 7)]를 대상으로 하였다. COPD 흡연자 7명을 대상으로 나이를 추출하여 환자-대조군 연구도 하위 분석하였다. Pi10, 왜도, 첨도, 평균감쇠계수, 저감쇠영역%와 같은 정령화 변수를 분석하였다. 결과 COPD가 없는 환자 중에서 흡연자의 Pi10 (4.176 ± 0.282, n = 45)이 비흡연자에 비해 약 0.1 mm 정도 두꺼웠고(4.070 ± 0.191, n = 38, p = 0.047), 흡연자의 왜도와 첨도(2.628 ± 0.484 and 6.448 ± 3.427)가 비흡연자보다 낮았다(2.884 ± 0.624, p = 0.038 and 8.594 ± 4.944, p = 0.027). COPD가 있는 흡연자들의 Pi10 (4.427 ± 0.437, n = 7)이 COPD가 없는 비흡연자들보다 약 0.4 mm 두꺼웠다(4.001 ± 0.108, n = 14, p = 0.005). 그러나 평균감쇠계수와 저감쇠영역%에서는 유의한 차이가 없었다. 결론 정상 chest CT를 보이더라도 QCT로 COPD의 유무와 상관없이 흡연자들의 소기도가 두꺼운 것을 알 수 있으며 이는 폐실질 변화보다 더 선행한다.

Risk Factors for Cervical Cancer in Rural Areas of Wuhan China: a Matched Case-control Study

  • Cervical cancer is a serious public health problem in developing countries. We investigated possible risk factors for cervical cancer in rural areas of Wuhan China using a matched case-control study with 33 women diagnosed with cervical cancer and 132 healthy women selected from the same area as matched controls. A questionnaire, which included questions about general demography conditions, environmental and genetic factors, the first sexual intercourse, first marriage age, age at first pregnancy, pregnancy first child's age, female personal health history, social psychological factors, dietary habits, smoking and alcohol status and other living habits was presented to all participants. At the same time, HPV infection of every participant was examined in laboratory testing. Results showed HPV infection (P<0.000, OR=23.4) and pregnancy first child's age (P<0.000, OR=13.1) to be risk factors for cervical cancer. Menopause (P=0.003, OR=0.073) was a protective factor against cervical cancer. However, there was no indication of associations of environmental (drinking water, insecticide, disinfectant) genetic (cancer family history), or life-style factors (smoking status, alcohol status, physical training, sleep quality), including dietary habits (intake of fruit and vegetable, meat, fried food, bean products and pickled food) or social psychological factors with cervical cancer. The results suggest that the risk of cervical cancer in Chinese rural women may be associated with HPV infection, menopause and the pregnancy first child's age.

농촌 지역주민들의 건강 형태에 관한 조사연구 (The health behaviors of the residents in a rural area)

  • 농촌 지역 주민들의 건강 수준을 향상시킬 수 있는 실천 방안을 제시하는데 필요한 기본적인 자료를 얻은 목적으로 경상남도 울주군내에 거주하는 농민으로서 연령이 40세 이상인 사람들 824명(남성 318명, 여성 506명)을 대상으로 건강관련 생활양식의 실태를 조사하였으며 그 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 수면시간이 하루 7-8시간이 사람의 비율이 남성에서 44.4%, 여성에서 45.0%였고 아침식사를 거의 매일 하는 사람의 비율은 남성에서 92.7%, 여성에서 89.9%였으며 간식을 거의 하지 않거나 가끔씩하는 사람의 비율은 남성에서 82.7%, 여성에 83.8%였다. 음주를 하지않는 사람의 비율이 남성에서 40.6%, 여성에서 88.1%였고 흡연을 하지않는 사람의 비율은 남성에서 37.4%, 여성에서 86.6%였다. 규칙적인 운동을 하고 있는 사람의 비율이 남성에서 4.7%, 여성에서 5.6%였으며 체중이 정상인 사람의 비율이 남성에서 89.0%, 여성에서 80.0%였다. 이상과 같은 건강 행위를 여섯가지 이상 실천하고 있는 사람의 비율이 남성에서 3.9%, 여성에서 23.2%였다. 도시 주민들과 비교하여 건강 행위를 여섯가지 이상 실천하는 사람의 비율이 남성과 여성 모두에서 더 낮았으며 또한 자신의 건강 수준이 양호한 것으로 인식하고 있는 사람의 비율도 더 낮았다. 그러므로 농촌 주민들에 있어서 바람직한 건강 행위의 실천을 통한 건강 수준의 향상을 기대할 수 있을 것으로 생각된다.
