  • This study investigated heat transfer characteristics of refrigeration system using new type aluminium heat transfer tube for evaporator of refrigeration and air-conditioning comparing with bare tube. From the result of heat transfer experiment form one phase flow using cooled and hot water, about 20% heat transfer performance is superior in case of same quantity of flow and about 4% heat transfer performance if superior in case of same velocity comparing with bare tube. Casing of two phase flow, heat transfer performance of new type aluminum heat transfer tube shows about 50% superior heat transfer performance comparing with bare tube in the same evaporating pressure when using heat transfer tube as evaporator and shows about 47% increase when expressing performance coefficient as the rate of refrigerating capacity and compressing work. However, it can be known that pressure drop in the heat transfer tube is taken higher value of about 18% in case of new type aluminum heat transfer tube. From the above result, new type aluminum heat transfer tube is excellent comparing with bare heat transfer tube using the existing heat exchanger for refrigerator.

  • The stack effect of a new type condenser installed in a high-rise apartment building was studied numerically A sirocco fan is introduced to the new type condenser instead of an axial flow In. The new type condenser intakes the cold air through the lower inlet and exhausts the hot air through the upper outlet. The effects of the building height and frontal wind on the performance of an air-conditioner were analyzed. The performance of an air-conditioner was evaluated by using COP (coefficient of performance) and CGPI (condenser group performance indicator). the hot air was exhausted by the new type condenser at an angle of 50$^{\circ}$ from the outer wall of the building. If there was no draft, the new type condenser installed in the high-rise apartment building had a good performance and its performance on each floor is not influenced by the stack effect. It is shown that the efficiency of the air-conditioner installed in several floors below the top floor decreased when the frontal wind velocity was greater than 8 m/s.

  • Purpose - In this paper, we aim to analyze to what extent entrepreneurial orientation (EO) can help overcome Korean SMEs' liabilities of foreignness in overseas markets. In this end, we examined three sub-dimensions of EO (proactiveness, innovativeness, risk-taking) and examine their individual effects on NPD performance of exporting SMEs. Research design, data, and methodology - We collected survey questionnaires from Korean exporting SMEs that are certified with Inno-biz by the Korean Ministry of SMEs and Startups. The collected data was analyzed using SPSS 26 and AMOS to create an integrated model. Result - As a result of the analysis, we found that proactiveness and innovativeness dimension of EO have positive effect on new product performance of exporting SMEs. Furthermore, technological uncertainty has negative moderating effect between innovativeness and new product performance of SMEs. Conclusion - While proactive attitude and innovativeness of EO positively affected the performance of new products of SMEs, the tendency to take risks and pursue opportunities with bold behaviors did not have a positive effect on NPD performance in foreign nations.

  • In this paper, we propose a new multiple access scheme for VSAT(Very Small Aperture Terminal) data communications. The proposed scheme has better performance in terms of delay throughput than Controlled Multiaccess Scheme which has excellent performance. The proposed scheme use the spare reservation method, adaptation method to offered load, and fixed bandwidth reservation method. In this paper, we analyze the performance using simple queueing model and present the simulation results. When network traffic is very low, the new scheme and the controlled multiaccess scheme have almost the same access delay characteristic. As the network load becomes higher, the new scheme's access delay gain becomes larger. Futhermore, even when the network traffic is very high it is possible to access satellite link within the delay similar to one round-trip delay. In addition to access delay performance enhancement, the new scheme has facility that supports fixed bandwidth reservation. So it shows more enhanced performance in the environment that stream traffic is dominant such as in VSAT communication environment.

In order to achieve the purpose of this study, we conducted a questionnaire survey on hidden champions in the domestic food manufacturing industry and proceeded empirical analysis. When small and medium-sized enterprises in food manufacturing industries develop a new product, searching for non-customer, rebuilding the market boundary, and linking the external networks have a significant impact on their management performance. However, the fair procedure did not have a significant effect on the management performance. In terms of relative influence, rebuilding the market boundary was most affecting, followed by searching for non-customer and linking the external networks. On the other hand, this study implicated the management performance of hidden champions of food manufacturing industries when new products is developed by using the blue ocean strategy. Obtained results are as follows. If small and medium-sized enterprises of food manufacturing industries develop new products, it will be able to improve the management performance by utilizing strategies such as searching for non-customer, rebuilding the market boundary, and linking the external networks. In particular, the rebuilding the market boundary among the blue ocean strategies has a relatively high impact on management performance.
