The plastic furniture made of new materials has enriched and broadened our everyday life not only through development of manufacture but also through consumptions since 1960′s. In relation as well to the need of reducing energy consumption and contributing to environment, the weight of plastic materials has raised concerns in recently. It should be pointed out that development of design technology, which would be risky to develop these synthetic materials was the strategic foundation of Kartell of which principal know-how with plastic techniques. Our rapidly changing lifestyle demands a new design that meet recognition of inflection. In conclusion as we are preparing to enter into the 21st Century, we should go forward with hope and do so with dispatch-dazzling all of us with boldness, thinking imaginatively, transform indifference into action, moving things to the next level in furniture industries, asking the "historic background of designing in plastic seat furniture" questions, challenging the very examples of the past in Kartell, Italy. From this study we have found that it would be useful to understand that the development of technological plastic materials for seat furniture has enabled designers to create ore and more sophisticated design in our millennium life.

In the turn of the century, fashion designers have not just drawn upon one or two subcultural styles but have extracted elements from many subcultures to use in a single collection. In true postmodern style these are freely combined with historical, cross-cultural and futuristic influences to create new fashions. The process could be explained by bubble-up phenomenon, retroism. pastiche and pursuit of pleasure. In the course of illustrating subcultural styles transformed into mainstream fashion, the case of Punk was studied as a turning point of modernist and postmodern period which have been introduced by high fashion designers since the birth in 1976. The following cases have continued to appear entering upon the third millennium and the aesthetic value of those can be summarized as ambiguity, eclecticism, and deconstruction. In other words. the energy and authenticity of Punk has been considered to be desirable in high fashion, however designers focus on clothing and adornment rather than ideology and lifestyle. The aesthetic property of subcultural style defeats the established notion of standardized fashion and stimulates new consciousness. which allows a room to be diversified and subdivided.

Now days subway represents a gateway of the city and a center of transportation. It belongs basic facilities to connect the town and suburbs and has strongly regarded as a means of development of city. but It's time that the subway should be changed to reach the needs which give visitors comfortable space and convenient image to use it and it also has a function of transportation because the present generation have turned an information-oriented and specialized society. So we try to put the essential points as like the followings, designing the CANOPY (Busan subway-3rd line). the first, We create an distinctive image with effect to get a regional self-confidence the second, we make new traffic space including potential energy in new millennium ages the third, we need an effort and experiment to overcome contradiction pointing to unity between varieties. To conclude, we want to create CANOPY subway with an individual characters for Busan and aim at a fine view and improved image of subway for Busan, considering the belows.

This design proposal was accepted to a design competition for the improvement of Indi Youth Street, Mapo-Gu, which was held by the Seoul Metropolitan Government in June, 2000. The \`Hong-ik University District\` projected area consists of several streets, where the independent and youth culture unique to this area is blossoming-Indi music, underground arts, and historic meaning of the area as an estuary of Mapo. The site is also expected to attract many citizens and fereigners because of convenient accessibility of the new subway station to the Inchon International Airport and because of many attractions on the street- foods, music, art and people. Accordingly, the proposal set the main design concept of this project as \`the Street of Youth Culture\` considering its special and social status as well as the physical improvement of the street environment. With this concept in mind, the proposal designed the improvement of the physical conditions based on the motive of \`the Street of Youth Culture\`, having Indi/under art, Indi/ under music, Indi/under drama and Indi/multimedia animation. This design proposal of the Street of Youth Culture consist of three segments, which symbolize the millenium Youth Plaza, MultiMedia Animation Pocket and Arts Exhibition Pocket based on unity and balance. This plan has the ultimate aim of making the district one of the people\`s favorite streets in Seoul, which people love to visit again and find the vivacity of the new millennium youth culture.

At a turn of the third millennium the world storms and quickly changes. It became difficult to expect what expects us tomorrow. The most important are questions of recovery from the crisis and rescue of mankind from forthcoming global changes: warming of climate, water and food problems, social, economic and political conflicts that are shaking the world and other various cataclysms, accidents, negative processes. It puts before mankind the problem which never solved by our civilization. All this is caused by ignoring of objective economic laws, laws of wildlife and also by violation of cyclic development management's laws. In article the concept of strategy of mankind's survival in XXI and next centuries, the principles of creation of planetary house of universal civilization for post-industrial world based on spirituality scientific and technological revolutions, ecology, space exploration, economy and world safety are considered. Introduction of uniform universal measurement of currency for the whole world in the form of "power" is offered. Important aspect of a research is theoretical postulate on integrated innovative society. The author puts forward a new paradigm of government on a basis of 5 spirals. The basic model of forced development of small and medium business, including 9 projects, is developed.

A differentiated training considered the individual traits of a security guard in order to achieve the self-realization as well as to fulfill the spiritual needs of a security guard is needed. To promote the development of security industry in the new millennium, new types of training methods should be introduced, and a planned elaborate training in consideration of the traits of individual security guards is needed. On the other hand, to cultivate occupational consciousness, and to increase training products, a specific kind of training based on the survey of demand should be carried out. In this study, I made an actual analysis current training contents derived from the questionnaires and interviews among the security guards who were employed at the security industry. From these analyses, I am going to suggest the following measures; 1) The improvement of circumstances in training should be preceded. 2) Training related to practical business in consideration of individual traits should be emphasized. 3) Producing excellent professionals and developing specific textbooks are needed. 4) To establish professional education institutes is urgently needed. 5) Systematic training methods sponsored by government authorities and security society should be established. 6) The deep concern of security industry employers about the importance of training is needed.

Wireless technology is glowing rapidly in the new millennium period. By this technical progress, new idea which separate CDMA 2000-1x service and existing mobile service by the account appears in interconnection market. Especially fixed operator and mobile operator insist contrary opinions. Account Separation of CDMA 2000-lx service is not studied despite it's importance. This paper deal with this subject and analyse logic of operators opinion. By the result of this paper, CDMA 2000-lx is more a 3rd generation service than a 2.5rd generation service and the current account separation criteria based on using frequency bandwidth is not desirable.

A new strategy for cancer therapy has emerged during the past decade based on molecular targets that are less likely to be essential in all cells in the body, therefore confer a wider therapeutic window than traditional cytotoxic drugs which mechanism of action is to inhibit essential cellular functions. Exceptional heterogeneity and adaptability of cancer impose significant challenges in oncology drug discovery, and the concept of complex tumor biology has led the framework of developing many anticancer therapeutics. Protein kinases are the most pursued targets in oncology drug discovery. To date, 12 small molecule kinase inhibitors have been approved by US Food and Drug Administration, and many more are in clinical development. With demonstrated clinical efficacy of bortezomib, ubiquitin proteasome and ubiquitin-like protein conjugation systems are also emerging as new therapeutic targets in cancer therapy. In this review, strategies of targeted cancer therapies with inhibitors of kinases and proteasome systems are discussed. Combinational cancer therapy to overcome drug resistance and to achieve greater treatment benefit through the additive or synergistic effects of each individual agent is also discussed. Finally, the opportunities in the future cancer therapy with molecularly targeted anticancer therapeutics are addressed.

Mankind has been living in the third millennium of a new era for 15 years. Today he realized that he was on a tiny planet with not much space. The 20th century laid bare its global consequences in all its horror.. According to the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute, more than 30 armed conflicts are recorded on the planet every year, leading to the death of more than 1,000 people during the year. Over the past 15 years, the total number of deaths as a result of military actions in such conflicts has also increased: more than 17 thousand people - in 2002 to more than 22.5 thousand - in 2011. 2022, in turn, became the beginning of a new round of military history, bringing changes in the social, environmental, agro-industrial, economic and other spheres not only in Ukraine, but also in all countries of the civilized world. As a result of the study, the most significant impact of the negative factors of the war, namely the economic, legal, regional and environmental aspects, was identified and analyzed.

Accurate design models for predicting the shear resistance of headed studs in solid concrete slabs are essential for obtaining economical and safe steel-concrete composite structures. In this study, symbolic regression with genetic programming (GPSR) was applied to experimental data to formulate new descriptive equations for predicting the shear resistance of studs in solid slabs using both normal and lightweight concrete. The obtained GPSR-based nominal resistance equations demonstrated good agreement with the test results. The equations indicate that the stud shear resistance is insensitive to the secant modulus of elasticity of concrete, which has been included in many international standards following the pioneering work of Ollgaard et al. In contrast, it increases when the stud height-to-diameter ratio increases, which is not reflected by the design models in the current international standards. The nominal resistance equations were subsequently refined for use in design from reliability analyses to ensure that the target reliability index required by the Eurocodes was achieved. Resistance factors for the developed equations were also determined following US design practice. The stud shear resistance predicted by the proposed models was compared with the predictions from 13 existing models. The accuracy of the developed models exceeds the accuracy of the existing equations. The proposed models produce predictions that can be used with confidence in design, while providing significantly higher stud resistances for certain combinations of variables than those computed with the existing equations given by many standards.
