  • This article aims to analyze the issue of sexual shame and finding answers for how to solve the problem of unjust shame when victims have suffered shaming in a new direction. While existing philosophical arguments have focused on moderating the negative effects of shame by changing the victims' mind, this article tries to fathom the necessity of how to make offenders feel shame. For this, firstly, characteristics of sexual shame on self are described in brief. And then, the article reviews the problems and limitations of existing philosophical methods which have concentrated on changes of victims' thoughts in order to overcome or prevent the negative effects of unjust sexual shame. Next, considering the liberal political philosophy's argument that it is not appropriate that even offenders who committed wrongs should experience shame as there exists an excessive emphasis on the negative aspects of shame, the overlooked positive aspects of shame on fostering human nature, are analyzed. Finally, in the context of sexual shame, the article explores what sense offenders should feel shame and what justifies shaming them.

  • The purpose of this paper is to critically investigate John McDowell's naturalism, and propose an alternative direction of inquiry in order for his naturalism to have a more explanatory cogency. McDowell's main project is to settle a philosophical anxiety that has made traditional philosophy waver between mind and world. If one stands on the world side, he would appeal to "the unintelligible given," and on the other hand, if one stands on the mind side, he would fall into anarchistic relativism. In order to relieve the traditional philosophical anxiety, what McDowell has in mind is to reintroduce an empiricistic intuition into a pragmatic conceptual setting. Although McDowell is successful in that it could avoid methodological difficulties with which traditional philosophy has faced, his discussion seems to give rise to a charge of "the Myth of the Given," presenting perceptual judgement as a model of judgement. I propose that McDowell has yet to account for the relation between perceptual and abstract judgements in a more cogent way, which has been far better explained by the experientialist account of the nature and the structure of the embodied experience.

  • Culture and art can be said to be an important medium that enhances people's creativity and satisfies our desire for cultural experience as well as emotional cultivation. These arts and culture are spreading all over the world through Hallyu, etc. to this day, and it is naturally positioned as an industry that creates the highest added value. However, rapid industrialization and development of industrialization also provided many negative causes, such as damage to nature due to the decline of factories and equipment industries, pollution and damage to the surrounding environment due to the use of fossil fuels. Therefore, in this study, we investigated the factors necessary for improving the image of the local community and maximizing tourism classes by actively utilizing the idle space abandoned due to industrialization and industrialization as a complex space for culture and art. As a result, empirical analysis was conducted through a total of six factors excluding typology through factor analysis. The results showed that reliability, certainty, and empathy had a positive effect, but responsiveness did not. In addition, the economic effect was found to have a positive effect on customer satisfaction.

  • The relevance of the study implies the need to explain the main determinants of environmental policy, allowing countries to converge on a common working basis. The purpose of the research is to explore ways in which the environmental aspects of EU regions and territories can be shaped to apply to domestic environmental policy. A total of 997 representatives from the Ukrainian UTCs, who are involved in local environmental policy, participated in the survey. Results of the research. A hierarchy of regional environmental policy objectives has been identified. Three key principles of eco-policy development have been distinguished. The means of the innovative approach strategy implementation have been outlined (formation of the regional market of environmental services; organization of interaction between environmental agencies and market structures; establishment of environmental funds which finance environmental activities; implementation of the "collateral return" system; formation of a system of benefits and loans to enterprises that successfully implement the environmental policy). The means of the prognostic approach implementation strategy to the development of the region's environmental policy have been determined (the use of an orderly and successful long-term strategy of economic development of the region; obligatory consideration in the mechanisms strategy aimed at improvement of environmental management system of the region, interbranch impact of the projects implemented on the region's ecological situation; taking into consideration the economic and geographical peculiarities of the region, the necessary infrastructure, issues of the territorial location of the large enterprises in the region and their impact on the environment). The means of the traditional approach strategy implementation have been outlined (activity programs focused on solution of specific problems, rather than on the implementation of measures for environmental restoration and enhancement; nature conservation problems have interbranch, interdepartmental character due to unity of the region's ecosystem; tracking complexity of changing conditions (water basins, woodlands, air-mass transport), regional boundaries generally do not coincide with natural ecosystems boundaries). The practical significance of the study lies in providing recommendations for the implementation of certain aspects of Ukrainian UTC's environmental policy.

  • This study examines the effectiveness of the study through a case of PBL(problem-based-learning) class conducted in a balanced culture course called at 00- University in the second semester of 2020. The effects of learning are as follows: First, PBL(problem-based-learning) has sufficient active interaction between the teacher and the learner. In the face of prolonged non-face-to-face learning, the PBL teaching method has sufficient interaction between the professors-learner and the learner. Second, PBL learning can actively utilize various problems that fit the characteristics of the subject and actively utilize the process of role sharing and collaboration. By presenting various problem situations suitable for the subject, students will be able to share roles individually or as a team, and fully experience the process of collaboration and discussion in the process of investigating the data. Third, critical perceptions of problem situations can be extended. In modern times, a variety of problem situations arise and critical perceptions of them must be fully learned. In a mass production and mass consumption society, students should develop the ability to blindly recognize and distinguish between real and fake information in a flood of information. The limitations identified in this class case are, first, the nature of the subject, "Understanding Culture and Philosophy," which makes it possible to discuss the global cultural phenomenon, but it should be discussed in terms of philosophy. Second, it is not easy to work as a team on non-face-to-face online. Nevertheless, PBL is a very effective method of learning in which active interactions and learning activities take place between professors and students, whether face-to-face or face-to-face online learning.

  • This study is a descriptive research of paramedic students who could be exposed to blood and body fluids during the clinical practicum to analyze the risk factors. From June 1 to June 30, 2018, 172 paramedic students who attended the University in Jeolla-do region were analyzed. The collected data were analyzed by using the SPSS WIN 21.0 program. The general characteristics of subjects, the exposure level of blood and body fluids, and etc were obtained for frequency and percentage analysis. The study found that 72.7 percent of students had experience to blood or body fluids exposure during the clinical practicum. Except for any needle injury, 70.4 percent of student were exposed to blood or body fluids. 28.8 percent of them which was the highest percentage of injection injury were exposed during the venous blood draw. 36.5 percent of exposure were related to wound dressings which was the highest percentage related to clinical procedures. 71.2 percent of students mentioned that they did not report this exposure because 68.5 percent students thought that it has no danger. According to the survey on hepatitis B, 50.6% of students had antibodies, but 31.8 percent of students did not confirm that the antibodies were formed. Even though paramedic students do practical training in a hazardous environment with repeated exposure to blood and body fluids due to the nature of job characteristics, the systemic infection control education program is insufficient. In order to prevent exposure and to protect paramedic students who do practical training with patients, it is necessary to make more systematic and active efforts in the continuous monitoring and the preventive education.

  • As an increasing number of cloud service providers begin to provide cloud computing services, they form a competitive market to compete for users. Due to different resource configurations and service workloads, users may observe different response times for their service requests and experience different levels of service quality. To compete for cloud users, it is crucial for each cloud service provider to determine an optimal price that best corresponds to their service qualities while also guaranteeing maximum profit. To achieve this goal, the underlying rationale and characteristics in this competitive market must be clarified. In this paper, we analyze price competition in the multimedia cloud service market with two service providers. We characterize the nature of non-cooperative games in a duopoly multimedia cloud service market with the goal of capturing how each cloud service provider determines its optimal price to compete with the other and maximize its own profit. To do this, we introduce a queueing model to characterize the service process in a multimedia cloud data center. Based on performance measures of the proposed queueing model, we suggest a price competition problem in a duopoly multimedia cloud service market. By solving this problem, we can obtain the optimal equilibrium prices.
