하이브리드 간섭제거기법을 적용한 이중전송률 MC-CDMA 시스템의 성능분석 (Performance Analysis of Dualrate MC-CDMA Systems Using Hybrid Interference Cancellation)

  • 다중 반송파(MC)기술과 CDMA기술이 결합된 MC-CDMA 시스템은 주파수 선택적 페이딩에 의한 신호감쇄를 완화시키면서 높은 전송률에 대한 요구를 만족시킬 수 있는 전송방식이다. 본 논문에서는 전송률이 서로 다른 다양한 서비스들을 지원하기 위한 비동기 MC-CDMA 시스템을 제안하고 다중간섭제거기를 적용한 시스템의 성능을 분석한다. 제안된 시스템에서는 전송속도에 따라 병렬 부 채널의 수(P)를 조절함으로서 다중전송률 MC-CDMA 시스템을 구성하였으며 효과적인 다중접속 간섭제거를 위해 하이브리드 간섭제거(HIC) 방식을 사용한다. 다중경로 환경 하에서 단일전송률을 갖는 시스템과 제안된 시스템의 성능을 분석하였으며 간섭제거기를 사용하여 성능이 향상됨을 보였다.

  • 본 논문에서는 짧은 지연시간을 요구하는 CDMA 시스템 환경에서 전송률 스케줄링과 전력량 할당 문제를 연구한다. 구체적으로, 본 논문은 각각의 단말이 짧은 구간 동안의 평균 전송률을 유지하는 동시에 에너지 효율적인 스케줄링 방안을 제안한다. 다중 코드를 적용한 CDMA 시스템을 고려하며, 각각의 코드는 가상의 사용자로 해석할 수 있다. 논문의 최종 목적은 전송률 과정에서 소모하는 에너지가 최소화되도록 각각의 시간슬럿에 가상의 사용자를 스케줄링하는 방안을 제안하는 것이다. 주목할만한 점은, 본 논문에서 고려하는 전송률 최적화 문제가 최단 경로 알고리즘으로 해결 가능하다는 점이다. 마지막으로, 본 논문이 제안하는 에너지 최적화 스케줄링 방안을 TDMA 형식의 스케줄링 방안과 성능 비교 분석한다.

  • A robust and efficient dynamic control algorithm for the position control of robotic manipulators is proposed. This algorithm consists of an open loop control and a closed loop control. The former may have a larger sampling time than the latter. The robustness and efficiency of this algorithm is demonstrated by the simulation about position control of a three-link manipulator with payload and parameter uncertainty.

LMI-Based Intelligent Digital Redesign for Multirate Sampled-Data Fuzzy Systems

  • This paper presents a new linear-matrix-inequality-based intelligent digital redesign (LMI-based IDR) technique to match the states of the analog and the digital T-S fuzzy control systems at the intersampling instants as well as the sampling ones. The main features of the proposed technique are: 1) the affine control scheme is employed to increase the degree of freedom; 2) the fuzzy-model-based periodic control is employed, and the control input is changed n times during one sampling period; 3) The proposed IDR technique is based on the approximately discretized version of the T-S fuzzy system, but its discretization error vanishes as n approaches the infinity. 4) some sufficient conditions involved in the state matching and the stability of the closed-loop discrete-time system can be formulated in the LMIs format.

  • In hands-free telephone systems, the received speech signal is fed back to the microphone and constitutes the so-called echo. To cancel the effect of this time-varying echo path, it is necessary to device an adaptive filter between the receiving and the transmitting ends. For a typical FIR realization, the length of the fullband adaptive filter results in high computational complexity and low convergence rate. Consequently, subband adaptive filtering schemes have been proposed to improve the performance. In this work, we use deterministic approach to analyze the relationship between fullband and subband adaptive filtering structures. With block adaptive filtering structure as an intermediate stage, the analysis is divided into two parts. First, to avoid aliasing, it is found that the matrix of block adaptive filters is in the form of pseudocirculant, and the elements of this matrix are the polyphase components of the fullband adaptive filter. Second, to transmit the near-end voice signal faithfully, the analysis and the synthesis filter banks in the subband adaptive filtering structure must form a perfect reconstruction pair. Using polyphase representation, the relationship between the block and the subband adaptive filters is derived.

  • In this paper, an optimal coning compensation algorithm for strapdown system is proposed by minimizing the coning error. The proposed algorithm is derived as a generalized form in that it contains the class of the existing coning algorithms and allows the design of optimal algorithm for various combinations of gyro samples. It is shown the magnitude of resulting algorithm errors depends mainly on the total number of gyro samples including present and previous gyro samples. Based on the results, the proposed algorithm enables the algorithm designers to develop the effective coning compensation algorithm according to their attitude computation specifications with ease. In addition, the multirate method which can efficiently implement the algorithm is presented.

Digital Control for Takagi-Sugeno Fuzzy System with Multirate Sampling

  • In this paper, a new dual-rate digital control technique for the Takagi-Sugeno (T-S) fuzzy system is suggested. The proposed method takes account of the stabilizablity of the discrete-time T-S fuzzy system at the fast-rate sampling points. Our main idea is to utilize the lifted control input. The proposed approach is to obtain the dual-rate discrete-time T-S fuzzy system by discretizing the overall dynamics of the T-S fuzzy system with the lifted control, and then to derive the sufficient conditions for the stabilization in the sense of the Lyapunov asymptotic stability for this system. An example is provided for showing the feasibility of the proposed discretization method.

  • 본 논문에서는 전송률이 서로 다른 다양한 서비스들을 지원하기 위한 새로운 비동기 MC-CDMA 시스템을 제안한다. 제안한 시스템에서는 W-CDMA 하향링크에 사용되는 채널화 코드인 OVSF 코드의 생성특성을 이용하여 발생된 OVSF 코드를 다중전송률 MC-CDMA의 확산부호로 사용한다. 사용자의 전송률에 따라 길이가 다른 OVSF 코드를 확산부호로 사용하며 OVSF 코드트리에서 같은 가지에 속한 코드들을 사용하는 사용자들을 모아 그룹화를 한다. 코드그룹화 간섭제거방식을 사용하여 그룹간 간섭을 일차적으로 제거하는데, 이때 간섭을 일으키는 다른 사용자들에 대한 정보가 요구되지 않는다. 제안된 다중 전송률 비동기 MC-CDMA 시스템을 위한 모델을 제시하고 이에 따른 시스템 성능분석을 행한다. 제안된 시스템과 직교부호를 확산부호로 사용하는 단일 전송률 MC-CDMA시스템의 성능과 비교 분석한다.

  • UKF (Unscented Kalman Filter) has been used in the nonlinear systems without initial accurate state estimates instead of EKF (Extended Kalman Filter) of the last decade because the UKF has robustness to the large initial estimation error. In the multirate integrated system such as INS (Inertial Navigation System)/GPS (Global Positioning System) integrated navigation system, however, it is difficult to implement the UKF based navigation algorithm in the mid-grade micro-processor due to the large computational burden. To overcome this problem, this paper proposes a MUKF (Modified UKF) that has a reduced computation burden using the basic idea that the change of the provability distribution for the state variables between measurement updates is small in the multi-rate INS/GPS integrated navigation filter. The performance of the proposed MUKF is verified by numerical simulations.
