New Construction of (2,n) Visual Cryptography for Multiple Secret Sharing (복수의 비밀 분산을 위한 (2, n) 시각 암호의 새로운 구성)

  • 서울Visual cryptography scheme is a simple method in which can be directly decoded the secret information in human visual system without performing any cryptographic computations. This scheme is a kind of secret sharing scheme in which if a secret of image type is scattered to n random images(slides) and any threshold (or more) of them are stacked together the original image will become visible. In this paper we consider (2, n) visual cryptography scheme and propose a new construction method in which the number of expanded pixels can be reduced by using the sample matrix. The proposed scheme can futhermore distribute the multiple secret image to each group according to the difference of relative contrast.

  • Secret sharing is a cryptographic technique that involves dividing a secret or a piece of sensitive information into multiple shares or parts, which can significantly increase the confidentiality of a secret. There has been a lot of research on secret sharing for different contexts or situations. Tassa's conjunctive secret sharing method employs polynomial derivatives to facilitate hierarchical secret sharing. However, the use of derivatives introduces several limitations in hierarchical secret sharing. Firstly, only a single group of participants can be created at each level due to the shares being generated from a sole derivative. Secondly, the method can only reconstruct a secret through conjunction, thereby restricting the specification of arbitrary secret reconstruction conditions. Thirdly, Birkhoff interpolation is required, adding complexity compared to the more accessible Lagrange interpolation used in polynomial-based secret sharing. This paper introduces the multi-compartment secret sharing method as a generalization of the conjunctive hierarchical secret sharing. Our proposed method first encrypts a secret using external groups' shares and then generates internal shares for each group by embedding the encrypted secret value in a polynomial. While the polynomial can be reconstructed with the internal shares, the polynomial just provides the encrypted secret, requiring external shares for decryption. This approach enables the creation of multiple participant groups at a single level. It supports the implementation of arbitrary secret reconstruction conditions, as well as conjunction. Furthermore, the use of polynomials allows the application of Lagrange interpolation.

  • Secret sharing scheme is a cryptographic protocol in which a dealer distribures shares of a secret among a set of participants such that only authorized set of participants can recover the secret at a later. Secret sharing is an important cryptographic primitive in management of secret information, secure multiparty protocol and group-oriented cryptography, etc. In this paper, we propose an efficient, on-line secret sharing scheme based on one-way hash function. This scheme provides the property to share multiple secrets and allows participants to be added/deleted dynamically, without having to redistributo new shares. Proposed scheme has advantage to detect cheating and identify of all cheater, regardless of then number. Frthermore, it is more eficient than previous schemes.

  • This paper is to suggest the secure secret sharing system in order to outstandingly reduce the damage caused by the leakage of the corporate secret. This research system is suggested as efficient P2P distributed system kept from the centrally controlled server scheme. Even the bitcoin circulation system is also based on P2P distribution scheme recenly. This research has designed the secure circulation of the secret shares produced by Threshold Shamir Secret Sharing scheme instead of the shares specified in the torrent file using the simple, highly scalable and fast transferring torrent P2P distribution structure and its protocol. In addition, this research has studied to apply both Shamir Threshold Secret Sharing scheme and the securely strong multiple user authentication based on Collaborative Threshold Autentication scheme. The secure transmission of secret data is protected as using the efficient symmetric encryption with the session secret key which is safely exchanged by the public key encryption. Also it is safer against the leakage because the secret key is effectively alive only for short lifetime like a session. Especially the characteristics of this proposed system is effectively to apply the threshold secret sharing scheme into efficient torrent P2P distributed system without modifying its architecture of the torrent system. In addition, this system guaranttes the confidentiality in distributing the secret file using the efficient symmetric encryption scheme, which the session key is securely exchanged using the public key encryption scheme. In this system, the devices to be taken out can be dynamically registered as an user. This scalability allows to apply the confidentiality and the authentication even to dynamically registerred users.

  • This paper presents a novel approach for assigning group keys within a dynamic swarm unmanned system environment. In this environment, multiple groups of unmanned systems have the flexibility to merge into a single group or a single unmanned system group can be subdivided into multiple groups. The proposed protocol encompasses two key steps: group key generation and sharing. The responsibility of generating the group key rests solely with the leader node of the group. The group's leader node employs a secret sharing scheme to fragment the group key into multiple fragments, which are subsequently transmitted. Nodes that receive these fragments reconstruct a fresh group key by combining their self-generated secret fragment with the fragment obtained from the leader node. Subsequently, they validate the integrity of the derived group key by employing the hash function. The efficacy of the proposed technique is ascertained through an exhaustive assessment of its security and communication efficiency. This analysis affirms its potential for robust application in forthcoming swarm unmanned system operations scenarios characterized by frequent network group modifications.

  • Virtual Reality(VR) data in VR environments like Manufacturing industries are often created jointly by many creators. It is then necessary to provide protection of the joint-creatorship and the creatorship of each participating creator. This paper proposes Multiple Digital Watermarking Framework(MDWF) to solve the problem of joint-creatorship. The proposed framework, MDWF, makes use of 3D private watermarking technology and a novel key sharing protocol for joint-creatorship verification. MDWF embeds 3D private multiple watermarks for the creatorship of each participating creators in a non-overlapping manner during the creation process. After key agreement of all private keys, MDWF embeds an additional 3D private watermark for the joint-creatorship. Therefore MDWF successfully handles the creatorship dispute among creators. That is, each participation creator can prove his/her partial creatorship as well as joint-creatorship by MDWF. In addition, MDWF can solve the collusion problems because shared secret key(SSK) can be made by every users.

  • visual cryptography is a simple method in which secret information can be directly decoded in human visual system without any cryptographic computations. This scheme is a kind of secret sharing scheme in which secret of image type is distributed to n random image(we call it share). When the secret image is distributed to n shares, the original pixel is expanded as much as the size of column in basis matrix. It causes the deterioration of contrast in docoded secret image. Therefore, many researches have performed to reduce the size of pixel expansion and to improve the contrast by overlapping the row in basis matrix for (k, n) visual cryptography. In addition, we show that the proposed method can construct the (k, n) visual cryptography with multiple contrasts depending on selecting k out of n slides in a group.

  • In this paper, we investigate a human identification scheme using visual cryptography, which can decode concealed images without and crytographic computations. T.Katoh & H.Imai proposed a secret sharing scheme which can conceal two query images into one displayed image for the identification. the generalized construction of the share matrix is proposed to conceal the multiple query images by stacking user slides o the displayed image. Furthermore, an extended methodis proposed in which group of slides can conceal an independent secret image as well as the pairs of slides can.

  • The visual cryptography scheme is a simple method which can be decoded directly the secret information in human visual system without performing any cryptographic computations. For some secret of image type, we scatter them to random n images and if any threshold (or more) of them are stacked together then original image is visible. In this paper we consider (2,n) visual cryptography scheme and show a construction method of the sample matrix using the rule of binomial coefficients $_nC_2$. This scheme can contribute interesting and effectiveness to the study of mathematics.
