  • Game theory is adapted to a variety of domains such as economics, biology, engineering, political science, computer science, and philosophy in order to analyze economic behaviors. This research is an application of game theory to wireless communication. In particular, in terms of bargaining game we dealt with a multimedia resource allocation problem in wireless communication, which is rapidly spreading such as Wibro, WCDML, IPTV, etc. The algorithm is assumed to allocate multimedia resources to users who can choose and access differentiated media services. For this purpose, 3 utility function of users is devised to reflect quality of service (QoS) and price. We illustrated experimental results with synthesis data which were made to mimic real multimedia data, and analyzed differentiated service providing and the effect of the utility function.

  • Analyze the Android game framework that can be apply to the Application development of new areas and suggest Document-View pattern of a design pattern, design that this applies the Android framework(DVAGF) for novice Game programming learner. Case of Snake game development through DVAGF is supporting modularity of the code, reusability and expandability that seems that the learners can easily understand the game programming basic structure. In addition, the Android framework (DVAGF) seems to provide a basis that can be easily extended to 2D and 3D games.

  • Recently, game companies are having difficulties in exactly figuring out the right consumer groups for their games. To solve this problem, a system algorithm which recommends user-customized games based on the user information entered has been proposed in this study. Game developers will be able to clearly determine the consumer group(s) of both on and off-line games through accumulated data while consumers can find the game they desire. It is expected that the gaming culture will advance further with the proposed algorithm.

  • In this paper, the prototyping process for developing syllable-initial consonant-based game 'Korean Guards' is described. Users may effectively learn Korean words using alphabetically sequential approaches, but the easiness of access bestowed on the smart environments and game algorithms could be fully utilized for the functional advantages for educational purposes. This functional game is developed on Android OS and the prototypical outcome is shown.

  • The purpose of this study is to design and apply a simple game that can visually experience basic concepts of game mathematics in order to teach game mathematics effectively. To do this, simple games linked with game mathematical theory are to be developed by utilizing the functions provided by Unity so that students could actively learn game mathematics. To demonstrate the plausibility of this approach, "Bouncing Ball Game" was developed to understand the concept of periodicity of trigonometric functions. As a result, students were able to effectively learn how mathematical concepts related to ball movements applied to the game.

  • Computer game has become the core part of multimedia area in our knowledge and information based society Recently, computer game has been evolving into on-line 3D games which give players more realism from the existing on-line 2D games. We are competitive in developing on-line 2D games. However, we have difficulties in maintaining the competitive edge in the area of 3D game technologies owing to the limited technologies. In this paper, we design and develop Aria Online, an on-line 3D prototype game using Dream3D. The on-line game supports simultaneous connections of multi -users on each game server and full flexibility on user's view.

  • This study suggests efficient production of game with spine tool that is 2D game tool. For this, the researcher studies process and efficiency of game development by focusing on production of a game "Shooting Monster" Version 1 in service of Google Store at present. Production tools in a contents field are sharply changed. In addition, these tools are automatized into new version and efficient product. These tools help manufacturers in increasing quality of contents and time efficiency. Therefore, the researcher examines understanding of development process of existing 2D game and problems in development stage of graphic character, and analyzes production stage of character animation using spine tool, so suggests effective process of production in terms of production. The purpose of this study is to suggest the direction about graphic efficiency of tool by accessing production process to train working-level talented people in 2D mobile game field.

  • Current video games and game room games are played as a single player mode on the basis of various emulators. With the evolution of data communications and game technology, a new trend in the game industry has made the primary interests of game developers and companies in the game industry be moved toward a multiplayer mode from the traditional single player mode. In this paper, we represent how to implement a network game platform by allowing network modules to be run in conjunction with the current video emulator games. It also suggests a synchronization scheme for real-time game playout and practical mechanism that can support network games to be played with the Peer-to-Peer process using a lobby system.

  • Multimedia element of the game graphics and sound, etc. 'commitment' that plays an important role in gameplay. Therefore, the quality of the game is closely related to the quality of multimedia elements that can be. In this study, various competitions in the field of content screening criteria based on previous studies and multimedia elements of the game area, and domain-specific details about the quality of sub-elements were extracted. Assessment areas and sub-elements extracted to verify the need for the game will be carried out surveys among the users. The findings in the next game production shall be deemed to be an important reference material.
