OLED 내구성에 미치는 무기/에폭시층 보호막의 영향 (The Effect of Passivation Film with Inorganic/Epoxy Layers on Life Time Characteristics of OLED Device)

  • The passivation films with epoxy layer on LiF, $SiN_x$ and LiF/$SiN_x$ inorganic layer were fabricated on OLED to protect device from the direct damage of $O_2$ and $H_2O$ and to apply for a buffer layer between OLED device and passivation multi-layer with organic/inorganic hybrid structure as to diminish the thermal stress and expansion. Red OLED doped with 1 vol.% Rubrene in $Alq_3$ was used as a basic device. The device structure was multi-layer of ITO(150 nm) / ELM200_HIL(50 nm) / ELM002_HTL(30 nm) / $Alq_3$: 1 vol.% Rubrene(30 nm) / $Alq_3$(30 nm) / LiF(0.7 nm) / Al(100 nm). LiF/epoxy applied as a protective layer didn't contribute to the improvement of life time. While in case of $SiN_x$/epoxy, damage was done in the passivation process because of difference in heat expansion between films which could occur during the formation of epoxy film. Using LiF/$SiN_x$/epoxy improved lifetime significantly without suffering damage in the process of forming films, therefore, the best structure of passivation film with inorganic/epoxy layers was LiF/$SiN_x$/E1.

수도권지역의 신갈나무군집 복원모형 (Restoration Model of Quercus mongolica Community in the Case of Korean National Capital Region)

  • The purpose of this study is to figure out the structural characteristics of urban plant community and suggest restoration model of Quercus mongolica in the case of Korean national Capital Region. The investigation areas were selected from urban area of Mt. Nam at Chung-Gu, suburban areas of Mt. Bong at Eunpyoung-GU, Mt. Sungju at Buchon City and non-urban areas of Mt. Suri at Kunpu City and Mt. Chonma t namyangju-City. After the main study field had been classified into the evaluation of the ecological characteristics and the modeling of the vegetation. We analyzed to evaluate the ecological characteristics of the forest structure -- successional stage, naturalness, multi-layer structure of the forest and species diversity, and the plant community structures. We have proposed vegetation restoration model based on the selection of proper plants, the number of individuals, diameter short area of breast height, the shortest distance between plants in non-urban area. As for successional stage, It was judged that the ecological succession may not be followed like the present stage of the surveyed areas in urban, suburban and non-ruban areas. As for the retention of naturalness and multi-layer structures of vegetation, In Quercus mongolica community, Robinia pseudo-acacia and Ailanthus altissima occurred in each layers at Mt. Nam, Mt. Bong and Mt. Sungju, and Eupatorium rugosum occurred in herbaceous layer at Mt. Nam. Consequently, the ecological restoration plan following the structure of the vegetation in Mt. Chonma seemed to be advisable in Q. mongolica community, there were less number of species and individuals in urban areas than those of non-urban areas. Planting of trees following the simulated native plant community of non-urban areas seemed to be required to promote the plants in urban areas. Considering the number of individuals up to three layers in each 400$m^2$ area, it was composed of twenty nine in canopy layer, forth nine in understory layer, 367 in shrub layer and 33.7% herbaceous ground cover in the Q.mongolica community. The suggested restoration model in this study is nan applicable model for the introduction in the cities, and this study shows that continuous experiments and field investigation on this model should be performed in the future.

플라즈마 중합된 Styrene을 유기박막으로 사용한 하이브리드형 OLED 봉지기술 (Plasma-polymerized Styrene Prganic thin Film as Hybrid OLEDs Encapsulation)

  • We report thin-film organic moisture barriers based on polystyrene(PS) laminates deposition by PECVD for an encapsulation of OLEDs. The organic polystyrene thin-film has the benzene ring structure and high hydrophobic characteristics and it was polymerized by PECVD in dry process. Life time properties of Ca test were obtained 32 minutes at the RF 100W process conditions. From the AFM test, the roughness of multi-layer thin-film was more excellent rather than that of a single-layer thin-film. In addition, 5 layers of the multi-layer film properties were obtained 45 minutes. So that the optical and electrical properties were not affected with these plasma polymerized organic thin-film encapsulation. For life time improvement, the inorganic $Al_2O_3$ thin-film were deposited 5nm using ALD atomic layer deposition. The WVTR(Water Vaper Transmission Rate) value of hybrid thin-film encapsulation in the optimum process conditions was resulted by less than $10-3g/m^2/day$. From the results of experiment, plasma polymerized hybrid encapsulation was suggested as the flexible display applications.

다중 출력을 가지는 퍼지 관계 기반 퍼지뉴럴네트워크 설계 및 최적화 (Design of Fuzzy Relation-based Fuzzy Neural Networks with Multi-Output and Its Optimization)

  • In this paper, we introduce an design of fuzzy relation-based fuzzy neural networks with multi-output. Fuzzy relation-based fuzzy neural networks comprise the network structure generated by dividing the entire input space. The premise part of the fuzzy rules of the network reflects the relation of the division space for the entire input space and the consequent part of the fuzzy rules expresses three types of polynomial functions such as constant, linear, and modified quadratic. For the multi-output structure the neurons in the output layer were connected with connection weights. The learning of fuzzy neural networks is realized by adjusting connections of the neurons both in the consequent part of the fuzzy rules and in the output layer, and it follows a back-propagation algorithm. In addition, in order to optimize the network, the parameters of the network such as apexes of membership functions, learning rate and momentum coefficient are automatically optimized by using real-coded genetic algorithm. Two examples are included to evaluate the performance of the proposed network.

터널링 산화막 두께 변화 및 열처리에 따른 Al2O3/TaAlO4/SiO2 다층막의 전기적 특성에 관한 연구 (Electrical Characteristics of Al2O3/TaAlO4/SiO2 Multi-layer Films by Different Tunnel Oxide Thicknesses and Annealing Treatment)

  • In this study, $Al_2O_3/TaAlO_4/SiO_2$ (A/TAlO/S) structures with tantalum aluminate charge trap layer were fabricated for Nand flash memory device. We evaluated the memory window and retention characteristic as the thickness of the tunnel oxide was varied among 3 nm, 4 nm, and 5 nm. All tunnel oxide thicknesses were measured by ellipsometer and TEM (Transmission Electron Microscope). The A/TAlO/S multi-layer film consisted of 5 nm tunnel oxide showed the best result of memory window of 1.57 V and retention characteristics. After annealing the 5 nm tunnel oxide A/TAlO/S multi-layer film at $900^{\circ}C$. The memory window decreased to 1.32 V. Moreover, the TEM images confirmed that the thickness of multi-layer structure decreased 14.3% after annealing and the program conditions of A/TAlO/S multi-layer film decreased from 13 V to 11 V for 100 ms. Retention properties of both as-deposited and annealed films stably maintained until to $10^4$ cycles.

Vibration Analysis of the Active Multi-Layer Beams by Using Spectrally Formulated Exact Natural Modes

  • Modal analysis method (MAM) is introduced for the fully coupled structural dynamic problems. In this paper, the beam with active constrained layered damping (ACLD) treatment is considered as a representative problem. The ACLD beam consists of a viscoelastic layer that is sandwiched between the base beam structure and an active piezoelectric layer. The exact damped natural modes are spectrally formulated from a set of fully coupled dynamic equations of motion. The orthogonality property of the exact damped natural modes is then derived in a closed form to complete the modal analysis method. The accuracy of the present MAM is evaluated through some illustrative examples: the dynamic characteristics obtained by the present MAM are compared with the results by spectral element method (SEM) and finite element method (FEM). It is numerically proved that MAM solutions become identical to the accurate SEM solutions as the number of exact natural used in MAM is increased.

당진화력발전소 녹지공간의 식재현황 및 생태적 특성 분석 (Planting Structure and Ecological Characteristics of Green Spaces at the Dangjin Steam Power Plant)

  • This study was conducted to analyze the planting structure and ecological characteristics of greon spaces on the grounds of e Dangjin steam power plant. To achieve these goals, we surveyed existing vegetation, plant community structure, Plant volume and growth rate. Based on e vegetation analysis, existing vegetation was classified into six types: herbaceous species $(70.54\%)$, evergreen coniferous trees $(21.17\%)$, deciduous broad-leaved trees $(5.10\%)$, deciduous coniferous trees $(1.47\%)$, shrubs $(0.12\%)$, and other types $(1.59\%)$. The coal storage, office, and playground areas were community is the natural forest area where a Pinus thunbergii / Pinus densiflora community is distributed in terms of vegetation structure, species diversity, plant volume, and growth rate. The artificial green spaces(near the coal storage, office, playground areas) had a single-layer structure. Species diversity indices of the artificial green areas were $0.1655\~0.4807$ compared to 0.8628 in the natural forest, which presented a good growth environment. Also, the plant volume in the artificial green space was lower than that of the natural green space. Therefore, it would be desirable to develope a multi-layer structure similar to that of the vegetation in the natural green space in order to improve the amount of plant volume. The plant-damage ratio of Pinus thunbergii was $52.48\%$ in the coal storage area, and $8.48\~ 11.52\%$, in the other survey areas. Also, the vitality of Pinus thunbergii was $15.45k{\Omega}$ in the coal storage areas, which indicates bad growing conditions. This suggests that soil characteristics and dust have a bad impact on growth. The investigation into deciduous tres' growth status showed that appropriate plants would be Albizzia julibrissin, Acer palmatum var. sanguineum, Acer palmatum, Malus spp., Prunus sargentii.

CrN 코팅구조에 따른 Polymer Electrode Membrane Fuel Cell 금속분리판의 부식특성 비교 (Comparison of Corrosion Behavior of CrN Coated SUS316L with Different Layer Structure for Polymer Electrode Membrane Fuel Cell Bipolar Plate)

  • Chromium nitride (CrN) samples with two different layer structures (multilayer and single layer) were coated on bipolar plates of polymer electrolyte membrane fuel cells (PEMFC) using the reactive sputtering method. The effects with respect to layer structure on corrosion resistance and overall cell performance were investigated. A continuous and thin chromium nitride layer ($Cr_{0.48}\;N_{0.52}$) was formed on the surface of the SUS 316L when the nitrogen flow rate was 10 sccm. The electrochemical stability of the coated layers was examined using the potentiodynamic and potentiostatic methods in the simulated corrosive circumstances of the PEMFC under $80^{\circ}C$. Interfacial contact resistance (ICR) between the CrN coated sample and the gas diffusion layer was measured by using Wang's method. A single cell performance test was also conducted. The test results showed that CrN coated SUS316L with multilayer structure had excellent corrosion resistance compared to single layer structures and single cell performance results with $25\;cm^2$ in effective area also showed the same tendency. The difference of the electrochemical properties between the single and multilayer samples was attributed to the Cr interlayer layer, which improved the corrosion resistance. Because the coating layer was damaged by pinholes, the Cr layer prevented the penetration of corrosive media into the substrate. Therefore, the CrN with a multilayer structure is an effective coating method to increase the corrosion resistance and to decrease the ICR for metallic bipolar plates in PEMFC.

X선 산란분석법을 이용한 액정에멀젼 구조분석 (Structure Analysis of Liquid Crystal Emulsions Using X-ray Scattering Analysis)

  • 본 연구에서는 $C_{12-20}$ 알킬글루코사이드, $C_{14-22}$ 알코올 및 베헤닐알코올로 구성된 액정에멀젼을 제조하고 다양한 분석장비를 이용하여 구조분석을 실시하였다. 먼저 제조한 액정에멀젼을 편광현미경과 cryo-SEM을 이용하여 각각 액정에멀젼의 특징인 maltese cross 무늬와 다층 구조를 확인하였다. 또한, DSC를 이용하여 액정상 형성을 확인하였고, small angle x-ray scattering (SAXS) 분석을 통하여 약 $305{\AA}$의 층간 간격을 갖는 다층 라멜라 구조를 확인하였다. 한편, wide angle x-ray scattering (WAXS) 분석을 통해 제조된 액정에멀젼의 라멜라 구조를 이루고 있는 알킬 사슬 간 배열이 사방정계 구조로 되어 있음을 확인할 수 있었다. 액정에멀젼 구조 연구를 통해 얻어진 다양한 물성 정보는 향후 산업적으로 많이 이용될 것으로 기대된다.

  • This paper intends to compare the investigation of techniques, based on different methods, used to find the electrical grounding parameter of a multi-layered earth(resistivity and thickness) corresponding to model, A technique for estimating earth parameters is presented and shown to be effective based on two case studies. This techni벼e can be applied to an earth structure with an arbitrary number of layer, and since it is not performed manually, can significantly reduce the amount of error involved.
