흉부 둔상에 의한 관상 동맥 박리 -1례 보고- (Coronary Artery Dissection Secondary to Blunt Chest Trauma - A Case Report-)

  • 27세 남자 환자가 오토바이 사고로 인한 급성전벽 심근경색증으로 내원하였다. 흉부에 손상의 흔적은 없었으며 심초음파검사상 전벽의 이상운동증과 미미한 심낭삼출액이 보였다. 관상동맥조영술상 좌전하행지 근위부에 박리가 있었고, 좌심실조영술상 심첨부에 좌심실류 및 혈전이 관찰되어 관상동맥우회술을 시행하였다.

  • Noise maps are produced according to 'The Method of making a Noise Map' in order to noise control efficiently, and prediction model to predict road traffic noise which may apply to Korean situation, include CRTN, RLS 90, NMPB, Nord 2000 and ASJ 2003. Of them, ASJ 2003, Japan's prediction model has not been verified for the application to Korean situation according to the classification of vehicle. In addition, ASJ 2003 was revised to ASJ 2008 recently, a classification for motorcycle was added. This study attempts to check the classification of vehicle in ASJ 2008 and 'The Method of making a Noise Map' to confirm the suitability of the application of them to Korean situation.

제동압력 제한밸브의 모터싸이클 ABS에의 적용 (Application of a Brake Pressure Restriction Valve to a Motorcylce ABS)

  • This paper presents an of a brake pressure restriction valve to a motorcycle anti-lock brake system(ABS). In the conventional anti-lock brake system of automobiles, slip ratio as a control variable is actively controlled, which requires wheel speed sensors, ECU, and a pressure modulator. In the ABS valve that has been developed for use in motorcycles, however, the brake pressure that is close to the wheel locking pressure is preset by simple exercises and then the valve just allows to pass the wheel locking pressure and cutoff the remaining pressure. Simulation studies with a single wheel braking dynamics and lumped chassis model show that the pressure restriction valve has basic ABS functions as well as some robustness properties for the uncertain load and road conditions as well as various initial braking speeds. Field tests also show that the pressure restriction valve avoids the wheel locking effectively.

  • A digital CDI(Capacitive Discharge Ignition) system on small two stroke motorcycle engine was developed in this paper, This CDI system with microprocessor as its main part has more flexible spark timing than the conventional CDI system because of its programmable characteristics. The principle of this digital CDI system and the design methods of hardware and software were presented in this paper, Two stroke small engine was tested to investigate the performance of digital CDI system And also this system was investigated to optimize the engine performance. Also comparison between conventional CDI can provide better spark timing variation than the conventional system. The part and full load test results show that the engine power was increased about 10-20% and fuel consumption was decreased about 10-20% simultaneously. Furthermore, this digital CDI system has simple structure, low cost and very little modification are required. It is a promising technology to substitute for the widely used conventional CDI system.

  • 새로운 개념의 로터리엔진 초기 프로토타입을 제작하고 작동성 확인을 위한 모터링, 압축기 압력 및 연료 연소시험을 수행하였다. 기존 피스톤 엔진 및 반켈 로터리엔진과의 비교 분석을 통해 이 신개념 로터리엔진의 장 단점과 활용분야를 조사한 결과 이 엔진은 소형 항공기에 가장 적합하고, 이륜차와 휴대용 및 하이브리드 자동차용 Genset에도 기존 엔진보다 적용성이 더 좋을 것으로 파악되었다.

  • Nowadays many two-wheeled motorcycles are used in leisure and express delivery industries. But studies of the electromagentic compatibility on motorcycles have seldom been performed and published. This paper has studied the electromagnetic safety of motorcycles considering international and domestic regulations and standards. Also, a series of experiments have been performed to evaluate the level of electromagnetic compatibility of commercially available motorcycles. As a result, detailed experimental procedures are proposed to secure the electromagnetic safety and can be used to confirm or revise the Korea Motor Vehicle Safety Standards.

  • Minimal change disease (MCD) in children has a favorable long-term prognosis, and development of end-stage renal disease is very uncommon; less than 5%. In the first case of its kind, we report a 21-year-old female with a history of MCD at the age of 6, who had late relapse subsequent to a motorcycle accident resulting in a de-gloving skin injury and intensive care unit admission. MCD was confirmed by normal light microscopy, podocyte effacement on electron microscopy and absence of any deposits on immunofluorescence 3 weeks after the incident due to critical illness. It is postulated that the skin injury is what caused the relapse of MCD.

해외 우정기관의 친환경 차량 운영 동향 (Trends on Alternative Fuel Vehicles in World-Wide 10 Postal Agencies)

  • In this study, we provide trends on alternative fuel vehicles promoted by postal agencies in 10 countries in North America, the EU, and Asia. It describes the specifications of most EV vehicles in operation, plans, and strategies to replace existing internal combustion engines with new vehicles in the future and provides the current status of alternative vehicle charging networks in each postal agency. This paper will help postal agencies, logistics companies, automobile companies, motorcycle companies, and even individuals who want to use vehicles with alternative fuels, such as electric vehicles, on strategies to establish and implement before introducing and operating the vehicles.

Azygos and right superior intercostal vein injury secondary to blunt trauma: a case report

  • Azygos vein injuries are rare consequences of blunt trauma. When there is high drainage output from a right-sided intercostal catheter, an azygos injury must be considered in the differential diagnosis. We report the case of a 38-year-old male patient involved in a fall from a height during a motorcycle accident. Computed tomography demonstrated a large right-sided hemothorax and left-sided pneumothorax. The patient was transferred to the operating theatre and underwent a clamshell thoracotomy. A laceration in the azygos vein at the confluence of the arch of the azygos and the right superior intercostal vein was identified. Bleeding was controlled at the trifurcation. The patient survived and was discharged home on postoperative day 15.

C-ITS환경의 자전거 및 이륜차 안전서비스 연구 (Study on the B2X(Bicycle and Motorcycle-to-Everything) Safety Service in C-ITS)

  • 최근 차량, 도로간 실시간 연결로 교통상황별 능동적 대응이 가능한 Cooperative-Intelligent Transport Systems(C-ITS) 기술에 대한 관심이 증가하고 있다. 정부는 C-ITS 기술 개발 및 도입을 위해 다양한 연구를 진행하고 있다. 하지만 현재 C-ITS기술은 자동차를 대상으로 자동차 안전 및 경제적 운행을 위한 기술개발에 치중하고 있다. 자동차 이외에 도로 주행이 가능한 자전거를 위한 기술은 포함하지 않고 있다. 본 연구에서는 자전거 주행 시 위험요인과 사고요인 분석을 통해 C-ITS 환경에서 구현가능한 자전거 안전서비스를 도출한다. 자전거 및 이륜차 안전서비스 도출을 위하여 우선적으로 과거 2011~2013년 발생한 우리나라 과거 자전거 및 이륜차 교통사고 이력자료를 분석하여 관련 교통사고 특성 및 원인을 진단하였다. 자전거 및 이륜차 교통사고 이력자료 분석으로 파악된 주요 교통사고 특성에 효율적으로 대처하기 위한 서비스 도출을 위해 별도의 전문가 회의를 4회에 걸쳐 수행하였다. 이를 통해 자전거 및 이륜차 통합 안전 서비스 모델 8개를 도출하였다.
