In research result, character has been separated in user character, another user character, boss monster and support character. And character's factor analysis yielded three factors: visual attraction, psychological propensity and competence. The result of the regression analysis about character's motivation factor show that it is significantly different that motivation level and motivation factors from each character. This finding implies that specific motivation factors can serve to make strategy for motivate user's game playing.

Results show that social factors among three dimensions of sense of community have significance for visitors satisfaction. And tourism involvement has a negative interactional effects as a moderator between recreation and escape motivation and involvement. • The purpose of this study was to develop a standardized scale to measure consumers' motivation to purchase based on a self-determination theory. A preliminary 27-item scale was developed through literature review, diary analysis, and FGI. A questionnaire survey was conducted among 1,000consumers on internet using the preliminary scale. Then a series of tests, such as test-retest, item analysis, item-to-total correlation, Cronbach's reliability coefficient, and factor analysis, were conducted using the survey data. The final scale with21 items was constructed in the end. The Purchase Motivation Scale for Consumers consisted of five factors: (1) external motivation, (2) introjected motivation, (3) identified motivation I: self-respect, (4) identified motivation II: pursuit of harmony, and (5) internal motivation.

  • This study analyzed the effects of internet fashion consumer characteristics and shopping motivation on price sensitivity as well as the effect of price sensitivity on negative purchasing behavior. A survey was conducted from August 10 to September 20 in 2012 and 364 responses were used in the data analysis. The statistical analysis methods were frequency analysis, factor analysis, reliability analysis, and multiple regression analysis. The characteristics of internet fashion consumers were composed of innovation tendency, impulse buying tendency, information orientation, and variety seeking tendency. Shopping motivation was composed of convenient motivation, social motivation, hedonic motivation, product motivation, and economic motivation. The information orientation and variety seeking tendency of internet fashion consumers influenced the price search. The innovation tendency, impulse buying tendency, and variety seeking tendency of internet fashion consumers influenced the price importance. Convenient motivation, hedonic motivation, and product motivation positively affected the price search; however, social motivation negatively affected the price search. The social motivation, hedonic motivation, and economic motivation of internet fashion consumers positively affected price importance. Price search and price importance influenced the purchasing delay; in addition, price search influenced the switching intention. The results of this study provide useful information for customer management and internet shopping mall marketing strategies.

  • This study is to develop and validate the academic motivation scale for medical students(AMSMS) based on self-determination theory. After composing preliminary questions from 74 students, a preliminary and main survey were conducted with 148 and 300 students from September to November 2020. Factor analysis, reliability analysis, and correlation analysis were used. As a result of exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis, construct validity was verified. The fitness index of the five-factor model of amotivation, external regulation, introjected regulation, identified regulation, intrinsic motivation was good. The reliability of each factor was ranged from 0.760 to 0.933. The criterion validity of AMSMS was verified by showing a correlation with academic self-efficacy and school life satisfaction. This results show that the AMSMS is both valid and reliable, and it is expected to be used in research related to academic motivation of medical students in the future.

  • Due to the lack of learning motivation, there is a need to seek ways to facilitate learning incentives because it's causing drop out and maladjustment of university life. This study is to examine whether the ARCS evaluation model developed by Keller (1983) is a valid model for evaluating the motivation level of local university students sample 276(male 116, female 157) in the Republic of Korea. To analyze the data, average statistic, one-way ANOVA and confirmative factor analysis were used. The conclusion of this study is as follows. First, the level of motivation per ARCS factor has demonstrated the highest relevance factor. Second, the level of motivation by the ARCS for the 1st and 3rd graders was appropriate. Differences in 'attention' and 'relevance' have only been observed for each year, and the 1st grade group was found to be larger than the 2nd grade cohort. Third, construct validity and convergent validity were obtained for measuring the level of motivation. The results of the verification of the variables also showed that the AVE and CR were met, and the model fit well was satisfactory. Based on the finding results, discussion and implication for further research were suggested.

  • This study analyzed various factors of reading motivation and motivational differences between grades and gender. An urban sample of first-, third- and fifth- grade children completed the Motivation for Reading Questionnaire (MRQ; Wigfield & Guthrie, 1997). The MRQ assesses such possible factors of reading motivation as self-efficacy, intrinsic-extrinsic reading motives, and social aspects of reading. Factor analyses and cronbach's ${\alpha}$ demonstrated that 10 factors of children's reading motivation could be identified and measured reliably. Mean scores on most of the factors differed by grade and gender, with girls and lower grades reporting stronger motivation. This study found that children's reading motivation is various and decreases as children mature. Various efforts to encourage children's motivation for reading are suggested in this study.

  • Attitudes toward target language culture and motivation have been known as important factors in second or foreign language learning. In this study, cadets' attitudes toward the target language community and culture were investigated to find out any relationships with English achievement. Integrative or instrumental motivation in foreign military context was investigated to determine which motivation was more positively related to English proficiency. Cadets' responses were shown highly positive and internally consistent in most cases. Military cadets' attitudes toward American culture were statistically significant and could predict their English achievement. Even though integrative motivation was statistically significant, correlation with English achievement was low. However, instrumental motivation was not significant. This result implies that attitudes toward culture is an important factor in foreign language learning and integrative-instrumental motivation dichotomy might not be enough to explain specific context like cadets' English learning situation at Korea Army Academy at Youngcheon.
