유아와 아동의 과제특성지각과 친사회적 도덕추론 및 친사회적 의사결정 (Children's Perception of the Characteristics of Tasks, Prosocial Moral Reasoning, and Prosocial Decision-making)

  • The 120 participants of this study were 5- and 9-year-old children and their mothers. Children responded to 24 prosocial moral reasoning dilemmas and 8 prosocial decision-making tasks. Mothers' prosocial moral reasoning was assessed with questionnaires. Level of moral reasoning was higher in distant than in close relationships. 5-year-olds in preoperational stage used the complex situational cues in their reasoning, and prosocial moral reasoning of 9-year-olds was positively related to mothers' prosocial moral reasoning in the situation with conditions of distant relationship, low costs, and internal responsibility. Children made more helping decisions in close than in distant relationship situations, low rather than high cost situations, and external rather than internal responsibility situations. 5-year-olds whose mothers were high in level of prosocial moral reasoning were more helpful.

도덕적 이탈 및 도덕적 정서가 또래괴롭힘에 대한 가해동조행동에 미치는 영향 (The Influences of Moral Disengagement and Moral Emotions on Bullying Assistant Behavior)

  • The purpose of the present study which regards bullying as a group process was to examine the direct and indirect influences of moral disengagement, empathy, and guilt on bullying assistant behavior. The participants consisted of 442 6th graders from an elementary school(male : 227, female : 215). The findings from this study are as follows. First, there are significant correlations between moral disengagement, empathy, guilt, and bullying assistant behavior. Second, moral disengagement have not only direct influences but also indirect influences through empathy and guilt on bullying assistant behavior. Moral disengagement was the strongest predictor of bullying assistant behavior. Finally, the implications for future research and intervention in bullying were also discussed.

응급구조학과 학생의 도덕지능과 내부공익신고 의도와의 관계 (A study on the moral intelligence and whistleblowing intent)

  • Purpose: This study was performed to evaluate ethical ability among paramedic students by analyzing their moral intelligence and whistle-blowing intention. Methods: Data from 117 paramedic students were collected from September 7 - 14, 2015. The questionnaire measured the level of moral intelligence (7 components, 41 items) and whistle-blowing intention (8 items) of paramedic students. Results: The mean score of moral intelligence was 3.07 (${\pm}0.28$) and that of whistle-blowing intention was 3.13 (${\pm}0.42$). Moral intelligence and whistle-blowing intention showed a significantly positive correlation with each other (r = .328, p <.001). Conclusion: It is desirable to introduce moral education contents and methods for paramedic students in order to enhance their moral intelligence and whistle-blowing intention.

시적 상징과 도덕과수업 (A study on a the poetic symbol and moral instruction)

  • 도덕과수업은 도덕이라는 추상적 대상을 구체적으로 표현하여 전하면서, 정서가 담재된 도덕적 의미의 발생을 추구한다. 이 측면에 주목하면, 도덕과수업은 예술적 상징 언어와 닮음이 있으며, 특히 시적 상징과 닮음이 있다. 시는 예술적 상징 언어의 전형적 양식이며, 시에서 추상적 대상의 의미를 수용 가능하게 표현하는 대표적 표현방식이 시적 상징이기 때문이다. 시적 상징은 시적 성찰을 언어로 표현하지만, 동시에 언어의 한계를 넘어선 형이상학적 의미를 전한다. 이를 위해 시적 상징은 불가시적인 형이상학적 원관념을 암시하는 가시적인 구체적 보조관념을 겉으로 드러낸다. 원관념을 은폐하고 보조관념을 드러내는 시적 상징은 동일성, 암시성, 다의성, 입체성, 문맥성, 전체성 등을 특성으로 한다. 이러한 특성을 가진 시적 상징이 시인의 창조적 상상력과 결합되어 개인적 상징으로 나타나고, 그것이 독자의 상상력과 결합되어 시적 의미로 체험된다. 시적 상징으로서의 도덕과수업은 이러한 시적 체험과 유사한 학습 경험을 제공하기 위한 것이다. 이를 위해서 도덕과수업은 논리적이고 산문적인 설명보다는 도덕적 의미 발생이 가능한 상징적 형식으로 구성되어야 한다. 이러한 구성을 위해서는 지도요소를 구체화하는 상징적 매개체 찾고, 상징적 매개체의 도덕적 의미를 다양하게 검색하면서, 그 도덕적 의미에 대한 해석이 가능하도록 수업을 구성해야 한다. 이렇게 구성된 도덕과수업이 시적 상징을 닮는다면, 그 수업은 좋은 시에서 시인이 표현한 주제를 독자가 공감적으로 수용하듯이 교사가 표현한 교육내용을 학생은 정서가 수반된 도덕적 의미로 학습할 수 있다.

  • The purpose of the study is to find how the family moral principles are placed in the Buddhist Sutra how they come up to the surface through certain course. We set up the following five kinds of question for aim of this study First in which form are the family moral principles placed in the Buddhist Sutra ? That is are they shown devided into two between the fundamental though of Buddhism and the concrete description? Second how are the family moral principles melted into the fundamental though of Bud-dhism ? Buddhism takes a cognitive method of pursuiting one from divesification,. If that is so the family moral principles will establish the fundamental thought of Buddhism melted along with other phenomena. When the fundamental thought of Buddhism is restored to the family moral principles which image are they presented with us? Third if the family moral princprinciples melted into the fundamental thought of Buddhism in itself came up to the surface ? Buddhism has a and is mixed together. The family moral principles of Buddhism are named from the fundamental thoughts to the family moral principles and do not come up to the surface but are melted into the important concepts of Buddism that is charity kama nirvara emptiness the principle of middle way. The aspects of the family moral principles which are melted into theses thoughts: 1) The concept of loving-kindness including equality non-self practice is shown in the family moral principles. 2) The thought of karma includes the moral principles for interdependence between the building up of home and family members. 3) Home should be a place of self-realization from the suffering realization This kind of home salvation should be set up by family members themselves and the consciousness of the master that such salvation is neither to be made by others not to be given by god is presented one should be the master of one's life 4) The thought of emptiness includes the social extension of home and those of the moral principles of collective body of family. 5) The Buddnist family is morality is based on the principle of the middle way shich means neither too extrim nor lacking.

자폐 기질과 사회도덕적 판단과의 관계 (The relationships between autistic trait and socio-moral judgments)

  • 본 연구는 한국 성인을 대상으로 자폐 기질이 사회도덕적 판단과 어떠한 관련성을 가지고 있는지 탐색하였다. 연구 결과, 자폐 기질이 높을수록 타인의 행동의 도덕성을 평가할 때에 행동의 의도를 고려하는 것에 있어 어려움을 보였다. 특히, 자폐 기질이 높을수록 시나리오 속 주인공이 타인을 해하려는 의도는 있었지만, 결과적으로 실패한 행동에 대해 더 허용적으로 판단하였다. 또한, 자폐 기질이 높을수록 다수의 이익을 위해 소수를 적극적으로 희생시키는 공리주의적 선택의 적절성은 더 높게 판단하였다. 더불어, 도덕적 판단에서 어떠한 기본 원리를 얼마나 중요하게 여기는가에 관한 도덕적 기반 측정의 경우, 자폐 기질이 높을수록 위해 금지에 대한 민감성이 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 상관관계는 자폐 기질을 높은 집단(AQ >= 26)과 낮은 집단(AQ < 26)으로 나누었을 때, 집단 간 차이로도 확인되었다. 이러한 결과는 자폐 기질이 높을수록 사회도덕적 판단에서 타인의 의도를 고려하는 것에 더 어려움을 겪을 수 있으며, 또한 도덕적 판단에서 타인을 해하여서는 안된다는 위해 금지 원리에 대한 민감성을 더 낮게 보일 수 있음을 시사한다.

Can Threatened Moral Self Make People Prefer Ecological Product? - An Eye Tracking Research based on Chinese Face Consciousness

  • Purpose: Social influence has a decisive role in shaping a person's cognition and behavior. Chinese face consciousness, including moral component, is an important part of Chinese traditional culture, which influences people to implement moral behavior. With both eye-tracking technology and traditional questionnaire, this research aims to explore people's moral psychology and the psychological processing mechanisms of Chinese face consciousness, as well as the impact of Chinese face consciousness on the preference for the ecological product. Method and Data: 75 college and MBA students' eye movement data were collected when they read different kinds of moral materials, as well as data from the subsequent questionnaires. To test the hypothesis, ANOVA analysis and Heat Map analysis were performed. Besides, the PROCESS of bootstrap was used to test mediation effect. Findings: The results reveal that: 1. Compared to the moral-situation reading, when subjects read immoral situations, they need more processing time due to the moral dissonance and cognitive load. 2. Compared to the control condition, when threatened moral self is primed, subjects prefer to choose ecological product. 3. Protective face orientation is the mediator between threatened moral self and preference to ecological product. Key Contributions: First, this study broadens the use of eye-tracking technology in marketing and demonstrates a better understanding of the relationship between morality and consumer behavior in a more scientific way. Second, this study not only distinguishes the meanings between "protective face orientation" and "acquisitive face orientation", but also innovatively validates that when moral self is threatened, consumers tend to choose ecological product as moral compensation in order to protect their face. It can shed light on the promotion of ecological product in practical applications.

윤리교육이 간호사의 도덕판단에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Ethics Education on Nurse덕s Moral Judgement)

  • This main purpose of this study was to assess the effects of two different types of ethics education on the moral judgement of clinical nurses. One type was free discussions among nurses with given specific moral issues and the other type was discussions guided by experts on specific moral issues. The study employed a quasi-experimental, nonequivalent pre test-post test design using two different control groups. The conceptual framework of the study was derived from the Kohlberg′s Moral Development Theory (1969) and the Greipp′s Ethical Decision-Making Model (1992). The data was collected during the period of October 14 through December 15, 1998. Sample consists of 32 nurses working in the ICU who met research criteria. 16 nurses were assigned to the free discussion group and 16 nurses to the group for the guided discussion with experts group. For the pre-test, the DIT which was developed by Rest (1984) and JAND by Ketefian (1998) were used with some modification by the author. After the education, only JAND was used to assess the changes in moral judgement. The collected data was analysed using SPSS PC program. The findings are as follows: 1. There was no significant difference between two groups in their general characteristics. Only difference which was statistically significant between two groups was that realistic score on Case 3/Medical Research and Autopsy was higher in the free discussion group. 2. Hypothesis 1: "There will be a difference on the moral judgement of nurses before and after they receive an ethics education". This hypothesis was supported partially. Those who had low scores on moral judgement before the education tended to have higher scores after the education on the same issues. And, after the education, the nurses tend to give lower scores on the dilemmas they had experienced frequently at work; while giving higher scores on those dilemmas they had no prior experience. 3. Hypothesis 2: "The effect of education may differ depended upon the moral development index [P(%)] score of nurses". The effect of education was different depend on moral development level. The group who′s P(%) scores was low at the pretest has higher scores in realistic moral judgement after the education, while the groups with middle or high P(%) scores went down after the education. These changes were statistically significant in some cases, thus, the Hypothesis 2 was partially supported 4. Hypothesis 3: "The method of ethics education will have different effects on the moral judgement of nurses". Even though several nurses attended the guided discussion stated that the education program broadend their perspectives the difference between two groups was not significant and this hypothesis was not supported. In conclusion, both types of ethics education had helped the nurses to acquire the skills to deal some nursing dilemmas. The effects of ethics education may differ according to the moral development index - P(%) score. However, because of some of the limitations of this study, mainly small sample size, short term education, unable to control other variables which may affect moral judgement of nurses, further research is warranted.er research is warranted.

맹자의 성선과 감성 지능 (Xìng shàn(性善) and emotional intelligence in Mencius)

  • 맹자 성선설은 인간 존재의 심리 특질을 나타내는 '성'과 도덕 가치나 도덕 행위를 나타내는 '선'을 하나로 결합하고 있다. 때문에 성선의 의미를 분명히 하기 위해서는 인간 심성에 대한 심리학적 분석과 도덕규범에 대한 윤리학적 분석이 동시에 요청되는 바, 바로 여기에서 성선에 대한 도덕 심리학적 접근의 필요성이 정당화된다. 그러나 도덕 심리학의 이론들은, 하나같이 도덕성을 인간 심성의 다른 요소에 부속되거나 다른 요소에 의해 부차적으로 갖추어진 것으로 본다. 반면 맹자는 선험적 도덕성과 선험적 도덕규범을 하나로 결합하여 성선을 주장하면서, 도덕성이나 도덕규범의 근거나 단서를 사단지심으로 예증하고, 도덕 행위의 실천 근거를 양능 양지로 제시하고 있다. 따라서 맹자 성선설을 도덕 심리학적 관점에서 고찰하기 위해서는 새로운 도덕 심리학을 필요로 한다. 그리고 그것은 첫째로 성선설이 인간을 덕성 주체로 보고 도덕성이나 도덕규범이 인간 심성에 본유한 것으로 보면서 그 근거나 단서를 도덕 감정에서 찾는다는 점에서 도덕성과 도덕규범을 중심 문제로 다룰 수 있어야 한다. 그리고 둘째로 양능 양지는 도덕 행위의 실천이라는 점에서 보면, 어쩌면 도덕 지능이라고 할 수 있는 것으로, 그 기원이 혈연적 도덕 정감에 있는 만큼, 도덕 지능으로서의 감성 지능을 규명할 수 있어야 한다.

전통 사상 및 교육 방법의 현대 도덕 교육과정에서의 활용 가능성 연구 (A Study On Possible Utility of Korean Traditional Thoughts and Educational Practice In Contemporary Moral Education)

  • 도덕은 하나의 철학적, 심리적 상념으로서도 존재하지만, 실천으로 이어져야만 비로소 도덕으로서 역할을 할 수 있게 된다. 기본적으로 도덕이란 타자가 자신과 공존할 때, 그 타자와의 관계에서 좋음(goodness) 또는 옳음(righteousness)을 추구하는 것이기 때문이다. 그런 도덕이란 대부분 본능적으로 체득할 수 없기에 도덕교육이 있게 되는데, 한국인의 경우 서구와 다른 도덕적 전통을 갖고 있으며 따라서 서구적 도덕교육으로 충분하지 않거나, 전통적 도덕교육을 활용함으로써 더 나은 교육이 이루어질 수 있는 가능성을 찾을 수 있다. 그런 견지에서 전통의 실천적 의미를 재해석하고 활용하는 일은 한 편의 논문으로는 너무 방대한 과제이다. 그래서 이 글에서는 비교와 범주화, 그리고 활용의 편의를 위해 전통을 '근세 유교(조선왕조 이후의 유교) 전통'으로 한정짓고, 다시 도덕교육 가운데 현행 도덕과교육의 교육과정을 전통 교육과정과 비교함으로써 일정한 성과를 얻고자 하였다. 전통 교육과정은 기(氣)의 발달에 근거하여 연령별로 단계별 학습을 시도했으며, 그 핵심 이념은 인(仁)과 의(義), 실천적 덕목은 효(孝), 제(弟), 자(慈), 직(直), 근(勤), 검(儉)이라고 정리해볼 수 있다. 여기서는 그러한 전통 교육 이념이 '자신과의 관계', '타인과의 관계', '사회 공동체와의 관계', '자연 초월과의 관계'로 영역을 나누고 각기 지향할 가치, 실천할 덕목을 배정한 현 도덕과교육의 체계와 상통할 수 있다고 보고, 그에 따라 교육현장에서 실천할 몇 가지 전통-현대 융합적 교육 방안들을 제안하였다.
