The method of substructure synthesis o. component mode synthesis(CMS) provides an effective means of dynamic analysis of very large and/or complex structures. In this study, residual dynamic flexibility attachment modes in hybrid component mode synthesis are considered for the purpose of exactly compensating the effect of higher order truncated modes. Following this way, the analysis accuracy of the synthesized structure can be improved effectively with less computational effort. In order to show the accuracy and effectiveness of the proposed hybrid component mode synthesis(HCMS), numerical experiments were carried out for the models of a clamped-clamped beam. The results verified the effectiveness of the proposed method.
This paper presents the analysis of the mode characteristics of an annular ring microstrip patch antenna for circular polarization with attachment mode using method of moments in the spectral domain. For a probe excitation, the input impedance are obtained by using the single mode approximation for both the $TM_{11}$ and $TM_{12}$ modes and compared with those by Vector Hankel Transform. While the $TM_{11}$ mode has a high Q, it is a poor radiating mode; the $TM_{12}$ mode is more suitable for antenna applications. It is also shown that the bandwidth of the $TM_{12}$ mode is wider than that of the $TM_{11}$ mode in terms of axial ratio for circular polarizatio
In this study, we investigated the gas chromatography (GC) and pulsed flame photometric detection (PFPD) system for the analysis of four major reduced S compounds including hydrogen sulfide ($H_2S)$; methyl mercaptan ($CH_3SH$); dimethyl sulfide (DMS); and dimethyl disulfide(DMDS) contained in environmental samples. To analyze these compounds in high concentration range (above ppb level), we developed a high mode analytical setting with the loop-injection system. By contrast, we also established a low mode setting for the analysis of low concentration samples (ppt-level samples from ambient air) by the combination with thermal desorption unit(TDU). Comparative analysis of both settings revealed that relative detection properties of four S compounds are systematic enough. The results of high mode analysis indicated that the patterns were systematic among compounds: H2S exhibited the lowest sensitivity, while DMBS showed the strongest one. The results were also compared in terms of sensitivity reductions for all compounds by dividing slope ratios between low and high mode system. Although low mode system exhibited significant reductions on the order of a few tens times, their detection characteristics were highly consistent as it was shown in the high mode setting. To learn more about absolute and relative relations between two different modes of S analysis, future studies may have to be directed to cover more complicated nature of GC/PFPD performance. Hydrogen sulfide($H_2S$) was over in summer about low level of olfactory sense 410 ppt, Methyl mercaptan(C$H_3SH$) was over in apring and summer about low level of olfactory sense 70, Dimethyl sulfide(DMS) was not over in four season about low level of olfactory sense 2,200 ppt. Carbon disulfide($CS_2$) was not over in four deason about Tow level of olfactory sense 210,000, Dimethyl disulfide(DMDS) was not over in summer about low level of olfactory sense2,000.
Acoustic behavior in baffled combustion chambers is numerically investigated by adopting linear acoustic analysis. Partial blade baffle, which is a variant of blade baffle, and hub-blade baffle with six blades are employed as baffle models. Through modal analysis, natural frequencies of each acoustic mode in baffled chambers are calculated and the reduction in natural frequencies caused by baffle installation is examined. Through harmonic analysis, acoustic pressure responses of each chamber to acoustic oscillating excitation are shown. The first tangential mode is found to be most sensitive to acoustic oscillation. Acoustic damping effect of baffle is quantified by damping factor. Damping effect of hub-blade baffle is the most appreciable and damping factor of partial blade baffle is much lower than that of blade baffle. Damping effect of six-blade baflle on the second tangential mode is as much as on the first tangential mode and hub-blade baffle can damp out appreciably the first tangential as well as the first radial mode with the aid of hub.
In this successive study, the analytical realization of coupled system was introduced using the times series identification and spectrum analysis, which was compared with conventional FFT spectrum. Also, the numerical responses of second order system, which is coupled, were solved using the numerical calculation of Runge-Kutta Gill method. After numerical analysis, the displacement, velocity and acceleration were acquired. Among them, the response of displacement was used for the analysis of time series spectrum. Among several time series, the ARMAX algorithm was proved to be appropriate for the spectrum analysis of the coupled system. Using the separated response of 1st and 2nd mode, the mode was calculated separately. And the responses of mixed modes were also analyzed for calculation of the mixed modes in the coupled system.
In this study, an analytical realization of end-milling system was introduced using recursive parametric modeling analysis. Also, the numerical mode analysis of end-milling system with different conditions was performed systematically. In this regard, a recursive least square(RLS) modeling algorithm and the natural mode for real part and imaginary one was discussed. This recursive approach (RLSM) can be adopted for the on-line system identification and monitoring of an end-milling for this purpose. After experimental practice of the end-milling, the end-milling force was obtained and it was used for the calculation of FRF(Frequency response function) and mode analysis. Also the FRF was analysed for the prediction of a end-milling system using recursive algorithm.

Recently, in proportion to the increase of earthquake occurrence-frequency and its strength in the countries within the circum-pan Pacific earthquake belt, a concept of earthquake-proof design for huge structures containing liquid has been growing up. This study deals with the refinement of classical numerical approaches for the free vibration analysis of separated structure and liquid motions. According to the liquid-structure interaction, LNG-storage tanks exhibit two distinguished eigenmodes, the sloshing mode and the bulging mode. For the sloshing -mode analysis, we refine the classical rigid-tank model by reflecting the container flexibility. While, for the bulging-mode analysis, we refine the classical uncoupled structural vibration system by taking the liquid free-surface fluctuation into consideration. We first construct the refined dynamic models for both problems, and present the refined numerical procedures. Furthermore, in order for the efficient treatment of large-scale matrices, we employ the Lanczos iteration scheme and the frontal-solver for our test FEM program. With the developed program we carry out numerical experiments illustrating the theoretical results.

Several block cipher modes of operation have been proposed in the literature to protect sensitive information. However, different security analysis models have been presented for attacking them. The analysis indicated that most of the current modes of operation are vulnerable to several attacks such as known plaintext and chosen plaintext/cipher-text attacks. Therefore, this paper proposes a secure block cipher mode of operation to thwart such attacks. In general, the proposed mode combines one-time chain keys with each plaintext before its encryption. The challenge of the proposed mode is the generation of the chain keys. The proposed mode employs the logistic map together with a nonce to dynamically generate a unique set of chain keys for every plaintext. Utilizing the logistic map assures the dynamic behavior while employing the nonce guarantees the uniqueness of the chain keys even if the same message is encrypted again. In this way, the proposed mode called SPCBC can resist the most powerful attacks including the known plaintext and chosen plaintext/cipher-text attacks. In addition, the SPCBC mode improves encryption time performance through supporting parallelized implementation. Finally, the security analysis and experimental results demonstrate that the proposed mode is robust compared to the current modes of operation.
