From early 1999 years, the mobile telecommunication companies have introduced the mobile telecommunication membership program to attract more customers. However, the severe competition in the mobile telecommunication market has made the mobile telecommunication membership program to be faced with the matured mobile telecommunication market and the mobile number portability. Wain focus of this study is to find what are the core elements of service qualify of the mobile telecommunication membership program. To achieve research objective, we conceptualized the service quality of mobile telecommunication membership program. We also derived hypotheses regarding the relationships between service quality of the program, customer satisfaction, and customer loyalty and examined it by using the empirical research methodology. We suggest new marketing strategies of the mobile telecommunication membership program which can be applied to improve the corporate competitiveness.

The potential contribution of the internet and mobile phone to smoking cessation seems huge, given that a majority of Koreans now use internet and have mobile phones. The Korean Ministry of Health and Welfare developed and has been offering an internet-based smoking cessation program from the January, 2002 and a mobile-based program from the April, 2004. Despite the anticipated effectiveness of internet and mobile-based smoking cessation programs, there is little empirical evidence regarding the efficacy of both types of programs. Therefore, this study intended to evaluate the effectiveness of an internet and a mobile-based smoking cessation program and to provide the basic database for the development of effective smoking cessation strategies for the health promotion for the whole nation. Cessation and satisfaction data were obtained from the 434 participants in both programs. The data were analysed for the comparison of quit-smoking rate and the degree of satisfaction between an internet smoking cessation program and a mobile smoking cessation program. The main results of this study were as follows: 1. For the internet program participants, there were statistically significant differences in cessation rate by gender(P<0.05) and age(P<0.01). In contrast, none of general characteristics provided statistically significant differences in cessation rate for the mobile program participants. 2. For the internet program participants, smoking related characteristics(average smoking amount and the reasons for smoking) didn't have an effect on smoking cessation. But, for mobile program participants, there was a statistically significant difference in cessation rate by the reasons for smoking(P<0.05). 3. The cessation rate was 31.9%(abstinence for the previous 30 days) for internet program participants and 17.8% for mobile program participants.

Recognizing the importance of the database query optimization design methods, we implemented mobile database with mobile program (J2ME) which is a useful database procedures. In doing so, we emphasize the logical query optimization which brings mobile database to performance improvement. The research implies that the suggested mobile program (J2ME) would contribute to the realization of the efficient mobile database as the related technology develops in the future.

Purpose: This study aimed to examine the effects of a mobile navigation program on uncertainty, resilience, and growth through uncertainty in colorectal cancer patients. Methods: To verify the effectiveness of the mobile navigation program, 61 participants diagnosed with colorectal cancer undergoing surgery were selected. A nonequivalent control group nonsynchronized design was used to evaluate the program. Uncertainty was measured using the Korean version of the Uncertainty in Illness Scale, resilience was measured using the Korean version of the Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale, and growth through uncertainty was measured using the Growth through Uncertainty Scale. Results: Compared with the control group, patients in the mobile navigation program group showed significant differences in scores for uncertainty (F=7.22, p=.009) and resilience (F=4.31, p=.042), but not for growth through uncertainty (F=2.76, p=.102). Conclusion: These results suggest that the mobile navigation program has positive effects on decreasing uncertainty and increasing resilience among colorectal cancer patients. The mobile navigation program could play a significant role in assisting colorectal cancer patients in regard to the continuity and usability of the program.

This paper describes an image processing algorithm for recognition of small-obstacles using a camera and program for a mobile robot in indoor environment. Mobile robot could meet small-obstacles such as a small plastic bottle of about 1l in quantity, a small box of 7$\times$7$\times$7 cm$^3$ in volume, and so on in its designated path, and could be disturbed by them in the locomotion of a mobile robot. So, it is necessary to research on the image processing algorithm for recognition of small-obstacles using a camera and program. In this paper, 2-D the image processing algorithm for recognition of small-obstacles using a camera and program for a mobile robot in indoor environment was developed. The characteristic test of the developed program to confirm the recognition of small-obstacles was performed. It is shown that the developed program could recognize small-obstacles accurately.

We have developed inventory database program which is available in the mobile PC. The mobile PC is convenient in terms of portability, data input, modification, practicality of various program and data confirmation in site. By utilizing the inventory database program in mobile PC, we are able to complete database in site. Then, database is converted into the Hangul document and Excel worksheet. Also, based on the above procedure, effective management and utilization of inventory on cut-slope can be achieved.

In this study we developed a CCD camera image capture program for Mobile Mapping System. Especially, two high resolution color images could be captured and saved simultaneously through this program to apply digital photogrammetry. Program developed in this study could be used more effectively on the 3D positioning of road facilities, the state understanding of maintenance and etc. using Mobile Mapping System with GPS-IMU. Most programs currently developed and used are for the panchromatic images. But, newly developed program is for the high resolution color images. Therefore newly developed program could expand application field of Mobile Mapping System widely, and users. This research can improve the usability of 4S' products with stable and reliable.

Purpose: This study was conducted to verify the effectiveness of a cost management education program, focusing on the differences between a web-based group and a mobile-based group. Method: This was a quasi-experimental study using a two-group pretest-posttest design. Participants were 74 nurses in a web-based group and 69 nurses in a mobile-based group. Data were collected between January 2 and February 10. The cost management education program was configured such that the participants studied eight modules over four weeks. The after-program post-test was conducted for one week. Results: Both the web-based group and the mobile-based group showed significantly higher values for cost management knowledge (S=5.98, p<.001 and S=2.76, p=.006, respectively). The web-based group had statistically significantly higher values for cost management knowledge (S=4,461.50, p<.001) than the mobile group. Conclusion: The cost management education program showed improvement in knowledge in both the web-based and mobile-based groups; however, the web-based approach was more effective for nurses. A cost management education program which can be implemented effectively across all range of nurses is recommended.
