  • Recently, there were not enough studies regarding the mix adjustment and changes of normal physical properties of slump flow type concrete in domestically. Therefore in this paper, it is aimed securing the fundamental data about flow its mix design method by experimental research. The experiment includes the adjustment of the way for slump flow type concrete by the variation of size of coarse aggregate. In the result, it is advisable raising the ratio of fine aggregate and unit water amount by considering the specific surface when increasing the Gmax size.

현대 패션에 나타난 에스닉 스타일 분석 - 재패니즘을 중심으로 - (Analysis of the Ethnic Style in Modern Fashion - Focused on Japanism Fashion -)

  • Japanism represents a Japanese sense presented in Collections by many world-class western designers who are inspired by Japanese Kimonos. This study analyzes how the traditional Japanese costumes were applied to the modern clothing and the mix and match style appeared at the Japanism fashion based on the Fashion Collections during the three years from the spring of 2006 to the winter of 2008. The analysis was performed based on preceding studies, literature, fashion magazines such as Vogue, Elle, Marie Claire, and the Collections during the three years. The results of this study on Japanism covers: the application of Kimono design, Kimono sleeves, Kimono neck line to coats, jackets, one-pieces, and blouses; the application of traditional geometrical patterns, flower patterns, and natural patterns. These patterns were presented by print, dyeing, and embroidery; lastly, the employment, utilization, function, and adjustment of Obi(belt) to Japanese style clothing and also to modern clothing. Japanism fashion presented sportism, feminism, and eroticism by using mix and match. This analysis can contribute to the application of the ethnic clothing to modern clothing.

광물질 혼화재 다량 치환에 따른 콘크리트의 배합 조정 범위 선정 (The Mixing Control Range Selection of Concrete according to High Volume Mineral Admixture Replacement)

  • 본 연구는 혼화재의 다량 치환 시 배합 요인의 조정 범위를 검토하기 위한 목적으로 일반 콘크리트에서 혼화재 다량 치환 콘크리트로의 배합변경 데이터를 확보하고자 하였다. 실험결과를 요약하면, 일반 범용적 배합내에서 혼화재 다량 치환 콘크리트로 배합을 변경 시 적정 품질을 확보하기 위한 단위수량의 경우 $20{\sim}30kg/m^3$ 하향 조정, 잔골재율은 W/B 5 % 하향조정 시 약 1 %, 총 치환율 5 % 증가 시약 0.12 %로 중복 하향 조정, AE제는 FA 치환율 5 % 증가 시 컨벤셔널 대비 약 20~30 % 정도 상향 조정, W/B는 FA 및 BS의 치환율이 5 % 상향 시 W/B를 약 1~4 % 정도 하향 조정함으로써 콘크리트의 기본 물성을 확보할 수 있는 것으로 나타났다.

수도권 부순모래의 품질현황 및 부순모래 대체율에 따른 콘크리트의 특성에 관한 연구 (An Experimental Study on the Properties of Crushed Sand in Capital Region and Concrete according to the Replacement Ratio of Crushed Sand)

  • Generally, aggregate may limit the workability, strength and durability of concrete, and good concrete cannot be made with aggregate of bad property including low strength, bad shape and grading. But recently, it has been insufficient in quantity to collect good natural aggregate because of exhaustion of aggregate resources. In case of Korea, the using ratio of crushed stone occupies about 97 percent of total coarse aggregate, and ratio of crushed sand occupies about 18.3 percent of total fine aggregate. This is an experimental study to compare and analyze the properties of crushed sand for concrete in capital region and concrete according to the replacement ratio of crushed sand to improve quality and mix design of concrete using crushed sand. According to test results, it was found that nearly all the properties of crushed sand satisfied with the value recommended by KS. And it is recommended that FM of crushed sand should be lowered by improvement of manufacture system or grading adjustment should be used because FM of crushed sand was a bit higher.

초유동 콘크리트의 최적배합 선정방법 및 경제성 분석 (The Selection of Optimal Mixing Proportion and Cost Analysis in the SFC)

  • This research is to examine the selected method of optimal mixing proportion and cost analysis in the super flowing concrete. As confined water $ratio($\beta_p$)$ and K is introduced, itis to establish optimal mixing design of super flowing concrete according to the steps of paste, mortar and concrete. From paste and mortar test, it was led to $$\beta_p$$ and $K_p$satisfying the optimum condions depending on the kinds of binders. Then $$\beta_p$$ and $K_p$ is reflected to the mix condition of super flowing concrete. The result of test, the mix condition of super flowing concrete satisfied the quality performance of concrete with adjustment of additional rate of the superplasticizer. Besides, in case of design strength $350kg/\textrm{cm}^2$ of concrete, material cost in super flowing concrete is able to be reduced 5~16% in replacement of fly ash 30% in ordinary portland cement and slag cement.

A Case Study of Asphalt Pavement Construction Quality Assurance Using the Quality Related Specification Software

  • One of the major issues in the material-based or acceptance quality characteristics asphalt pavement Quality Assurance (QA) is that the method does not have rationality to link between the individual materials and the projected performance of the pavement. A new asphalt mix QA method has been recently developed under a national research project using the probabilistic Performance Related Specification (PRS). This advanced PRS QA methodology integrates the AASHTOWare Pavement ME Design$^{(R)}$ technology with the simple performance test concept that bridges the material characteristics with the pavement performance. This paper presents a case study of asphalt pavement performance using the developed PRS QA computer program, named Quality Related Specification Software (QRSS), with an actual pavement project, to demonstrate the developed PRS procedure and to assess the robustness of QRSS in terms of the rationality of the distress predictions. The results of this limited case study show that the new PRS QA method reasonably predicts the pavement performance, properly applied the probabilistic methods, and produced rational pay adjustment.

수화열을 고려한 터널 라이닝 콘크리트 거푸집 탈형 (The Application of Hydration Heat to Form Removal of Lining Concrete in Tunnel)

  • The strength level for removal of lining concrete in tunnel is increased from 2.94MPa to 4.9MPa in 2004. This result in the increase of concrete curing time, and construction time would be delayed. In this study, in order to improve the efficiency of construction cycle and satisfy the strength criterion, a curing method is adopted, which is considering the hydration heat in the lining concrete member. As a result, it is shown that the concrete curing time for form removal is about 20hrs without the adjustment of concrete mix design. And construction cycle time is not changed compared to that before the change of strength criterion.

간병인을 위한 기능적 유니폼 개발 -노인의료복지시설 간병인을 대상으로- (Development of Functional Uniform for Caregivers)

  • The purpose of this study was to develop a caregiver's uniform that is appropriate for nursing and to improve movement adaptability as well as having a pleasing appearance. Based on the results of preliminary study, I investigated the inconvenience and problems with the existing uniforms and made a sample uniform taking into consideration the design, the material, and the pattern. We carried out a sensory assessment and quantitative assessment in order to compare the sample uniform with existing uniforms. Following are the results of this research. The top is a short-sleeved blouse with a round neckline having no collar and with armpit gussets. The armpit gussets are semicircles and the inverted pleats in the back are an improvement designed for activity. The pants are long reaching to the ankles with elastic in the waist so that the waist measurement may be adjusted. The length of the pants can be adjusted with strings and the pants have a funnel-shaped pocket for adjustment of length. We used a mix of polyurethane and polyester for the outer cloth of the uniform in order to improve activity function and used $Coolever^{TM}$, the sanitary textile that absorbs moisture well and dries in a short time, for gussets in the armpits, which is the heavy sweat area. The appearance assessment and movement adaptability assessment were performed with 5 subjects and 9 experts. For the results of the assessment, the sample uniform was appraised to be better than the existing uniforms in every item of an appearance comparison assessment except for the neckline assessment by the experts. As for the assessment of movement appropriateness and wearing assessment, the same subjects were used for analysis. As the results of the assessment, the sample uniform was rated higher than the existing uniforms in movement adaptability and pleasing appearance.

동궐도(東闕圖)에 나타난 괴석(怪石)의 배치특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Characteristics of Oddly Shaped Stone's Arrangement at Donggwoldo)

  • 본 연구는 동궐도에 나타난 괴석의 배치를 바탕으로 조선시대 궁궐에 쓰인 괴석의 배석형식과 활용을 고찰한 것이다. 동궐도에서 축선을 보조하여 정형성을 형성하는 괴석 배열의 종류는 단식, 대식, 연식으로 구분된다. 단식은 기존 건축물을 통해 형성된 축선상에 괴석 1개를 배치하여 시각적 초점을 부여하거나 중심성을 강조하기 위해 사용되었다. 대식의 경우, 주로 건물 양옆에 괴석 2개를 대칭구도로 놓아 건축물에 질서와 위계를 부여하기 위해 사용되었다. 또한 세 개의 돌을 나열한 연식은 주석(主石)의 역할을 하는 가운데 돌이 축선 상에 놓여 강한 방향성과 정면성을 부여하는 방법으로 사용된다. 이러한 괴석 배치법은 수목의 배식에도 동일하게 적용되는 것으로, 수목의 요점식재와 대칭식재 방법에서 유사성이 발견되었다. 따라서 괴석과 수목은 장소의 성격과 규모에 따라 취사선택될 수 있으며, 축 형성과 정형적 공간창출의 효과는 근본적으로 같다고 할 수 있다. 이상의 결과를 바탕으로 동궐도 괴석의 배치 특성을 고찰한 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 괴석은 중요한 건물에 위계를 표현하기 위해 설치되어 구심적인 공간을 창출하는 수단으로 사용되었다. 둘째, 괴석간 거리는 가운데에 있는 건축물의 크기에 비례하여 조정되었으며, 이는 중심축과 좌우 대칭물 간의 비례적 균형구도를 통해 안정감을 부여하기 위함이었다. 셋째, 불규칙한 괴석의 외형이 규칙적인 대칭성을 형성하는데 제한요소가 되므로 석함을 활용하여 정형성을 더하였다. 넷째, 연식(3입식) 배치에서 가운데 괴석에 변화를 주어 중심성을 강조하였다. 다섯째, 괴석은 타 점경물의 종류와 배합 및 위치조정이 수월하도록 크기를 제한함으로써 얻어지는 이동성이 있었다. 여섯째, 사의적 대상으로 감상되던 궁궐 괴석은 근본적으로 수석과 동질적인 개념의 조형물 이었으며 감상되는 방법, 형태, 구성에서 같은 맥락으로 전개되었다. 일곱째, 연식으로 놓인 괴석은 짝수일 경우 균등분할 식으로 배치되며, 홀수일 경우 중심 괴석을 중심으로 나머지가 대칭하도록 배열하는 방법을 따랐다. 이상의 배석원칙은 조선 궁궐에서 괴석을 제작하고 활용했던 특징적인 방법으로 판단된다.
