Polycrystalline and epitaxial heterostructure films of $La_{0.5}Sr_{0.5}CoO_{3}/Pb(Nb_{0.04}Zr_{0.28}Ti_{0.68})O_{3}/La_{0.5}Sr_{0.5}CoO_{3}$ (LSCO/PNZT/LSCO) capacitors were evaluated in terms of low voltage and high speed operation in high density memory, using TiN/Pt conducting barrier combination. Structural studies for a high density ferroelectric memory process flow, which requires the integration of conducting barrier layers to connect the drain of the pass-gate transistor to the bottom electrode of the ferroelectric stack, indicate complete phase purity (i.e. fully perovskite) in both epitaxial and polycrystalline materials. The polycrystalline capacitors show lower remnant polarization and coercive voltages. However, the retention, and high-speed characteristics are similar, indicating minimal influence of crystalline quality on the ferroelectric properties.

In the process of finite element analysis, mesh generation is tedious job which consumes tremendous time. Therefore, the automation of well shaped mesh generation from the minimal boundary input data is desirable to improve reliability and accuracy of the analysis and also to reduce the process time of the entire design process. The automation of triangular mesh generation has been relatively well treated due to its robustness and ease of handling when compared to rectangular element mesh generation. In this study, the offset method developed previously for generating plane rectangular element mesh has been corrected and modified to generate triangular element mesh on the B-spline surface having arbitrary holes. The result shows that the generated triangular mesh has the average aspect ratio over 0.9. The designed arbitrary surface shape has been interactively constructed by non-uniform B-spline theory for triangular mesh generation.
The development of unsteady three-dimensional incompressible viscous solver based on unsteady physical curvilinear coordinate system is presented. A 12-point finite analytic scheme based on local uniform grid spacing is extended for nonuniform grid spacing. The formulation of a condition is suggested to avoid the oscillation of the series summations produced by the application of the method of separation of variables. SIMPLER and pressure Poisson equation techniques are used for solving a velocity-pressure coupled problem. The matrix is solved using the Generalized Minimal RESidual (GMRES) method to enhance the convergence rate of unsteady flow solver and the Kinematic boundary condition of a free surface flow. It is demonstrated that the numerical solutions of these equations are less mesh sensitive.

In this research paper, the thermal transport in thorium dioxide is investigated by using nonequilibrium molecular dynamics. The thermal conductivity of bulk thorium dioxide was measured to be 20.8 W/m-K, confirming reported values, and the phonon mean free path was estimated to be between 7 and 8.5 nm at 300 K. It was observed that the thermal conductivity of thorium dioxide shows a strong dependency on temperature; the highest thermal conductivity was estimated to be 77.3 W/m-K at 100 K, and the lowest thermal conductivity was estimated to be 4.3 W/m-K at 1200 K. In addition, by simulating thorium dioxide structures with different lengths at different temperatures, it was identified that short wavelength phonons dominate thermal transport in thorium dioxide at high temperatures, resulting in decreased intrinsic phonon mean free paths and minimal effect of boundary scattering while long wavelength phonons dominate the thermal transport in thorium dioxide at low temperatures.
Let (X, J) be a closed, connected almost complex four-manifold. Let $X_1$ be the complement of an open disc in X and let ${\varepsilon}_1$be the contact structure on the boundary ${\varepsilon}X_1$ which is compatible with a symplectic structure on $X_1$, Then we show that (X, J) is symplectic if and only if the contact structure ${\varepsilon}_1$ on ${\varepsilon}X_1$ is isomorphic to the standard contact structure on the 3-sphere $S^3$ and ${\varepsilon}X_1$is J-concave. Also we show that there is a contact structure ${\varepsilon}_0\ on\ S^2\times\ S^1$which is not strongly symplectically fillable but symplectically fillable, and that $(S^2{\times}S^1,\;{\varepsilon})$ has infinitely many non-diffeomorphic minimal fillings whose restrictions on$\S^2\times\ S^1$are ${\sigma}$ where ${\sigma}$ is the restriction of the standard symplectic structure on $S^2{\times}D^2$.

We have designed a real-time Cardiac digital substraction angiography system (C-DSA) and tested the system for the diagnosis of Cardiac patients. The system was developed by interfacing a radiographic angiography system to a computerized motional image analysis system. This new cardiac DSA can perform the real time processing of averaging and subtraction of the 32 image frames to measure the volume changes of the left ventricle after elimination of motional artrifacts, caused by the heart contraction of beats per minute in average. Each frame has a resolution of 512 x 512 pixels and 256 gray levels. Two image data with maximal and minimal volume were moved to the interfaced IBM PC computer system by high speed computer link line for computation of the heart's contraction parameters. First, the boundary of the left ventricule was detected using a dynamic programming of the gray levels, and its volume was computered to determine the parameters, such as the maximal volume of end-diastolic volume (EDV), the minimal volume of end systolic volume (ESV), and ejection fraction (EF).

The purpose of this study is to analyze the arrangement of parks, in whole city level by using park's effective distance and to find the accessibility obstacles in case of using parks, in boundary of each parks' effective distance, so that to show how to improve communities' usage of city parks. The 8 cities in Gyeonggi-do and analysed the effective distance of parks. To find the accessibility obstacles in the boundary of parks' effective distance, 1) we choose 18 sample parks and extract obstacles - wide road, rail road, river- in interior and verify it by field survey and asking the park user's residents directly. The main findings of this study can be summarized as follows: First, Ansan city and Goyang city are only satisfied with the minimal city parks size standard, so that the rest 6 cities are lack of quantities which residents can use. The result of analyzing effective distance in whole city level, parks are mainly designated in new-town, so that most cities which have old-towns have very poor park systems to use. Because Ansan city is new-planned city, it is very effective arrangement in park systems exceptionally. Second, $96.2\%$ of park users' are living in the area which was easy to gain access not intercepted by wide road, rail road or river. Third, therefore at the stage of planning park, effective distance and resident's accessibility as well as park's supply quantitatively are needed to be considered. In addition, selection of location and elevation of resident's safety and accessibility through making a plan must be reflected. In the low accessibility area, the program to improve park's accessibility and amenity - like making small park or pocket park, linking parks with resident-friendly road etc.- has to be investigated.

In the paper the effect of a stern-plate attached to a ship was taken into account. The relationship between the trim angle of a ship and the wave-resistance coefficient induced by the a stern-plate was studied using the potential flow analysis method. Numerical algorithm was described using the panel method and the vortex lattice method(VLM) to simulate the flow phenomena around a ship. The non-linearity of the free surface boundary conditions were considered using the iterative method and the IGE-GMRES(Incomplete Gaussian Elimination-The Generalized Minimal RESidual) algorithm was adopted to solve the linear equation at each iterative step. Numerical calculations were carried out to investigate the validity of the adopted algorithm using KCS(KRISO 3600 TEU Container) hull. Possible cases for attachment of the plate were checked. The results showed that the numerical algorithm could be physically appropriate.
Since 1960, minimalism has been one of the fashion phenomenon and turned out in many different ways. After postmodernism which contains negotiation and pluralism, appeared in 1980, there was a new wave of post minimalism that inherited 1960's minimalism. Minimal style which come out of 60's fashion, is marked by simplicity, minimal expression, and monochrome color, and it shows up simple style with no decoration. It opened up a young fashion period, and we saw minimal style in sports wear which utilized simplicity and function with spread of sports in the 70's. And also since 1980, Post-Modern widely influenced the idea about modern culture as well as complicated clothes getting rid of fixed concept, seeking to break the boundary between culture and life which were seek in fashion and personality as well as various characteristic, Accordingly in different ages, The style and image were borrowed from different culture and natural environment mixing the image, cultural phenomena like these appearing in complexity and expression, variety and possibility of new vision was expanded. Since 1980, Fashion has become more gradually diversity, high classed, required of each individuality. The phenomenon of fashion reappearance which was influenced by minimalism is continued to 2000. The Oriental style fashion is still attracted, so The new term "Ethic Minimalism" has appeared along with the trends which is put together. Therefore the purpose of this study is to search the concept and the characteristics of ethnic minimalism, to consider the relationship between minimalism and ethnic minimalism, and reveal the characteristic of ethnic minimalism happened to modern fashion. The study method went through literature research and practice research. The range of this study is oriental fashion spanning of from 1960 to current day. Photo records from this period show well the spirit of the oriental and the personality of minimalism. The oriental representative designer and western representative designer are centered Consequently, The formative characteristics of ethnic minimalism are simple, pure, unbalanced free style and representing the phenomena of compromise, blending oriental and western fashion. Structually, Elements of space and plane are emphasized, colors are restricted, and materials are composed mainly of natural fiber. So, minimalism based on simplicity combined with a structure of oriental spiritual depth and space, It could be called ethnic minimalism as a rational fashion.
Architectural fabrics membranes have not only the structural performance but also act as an efficient cladding to cover large areas. Because of the direct relationship between form and force distribution in tension membrane structures, form-finding procedure is an important issue. Ideally, once the optimal form is found, a uniform pre-stressing is applied to the fabric which takes the form of a minimal surface. The force density method is one of the most efficient computational form-finding techniques to solve the initial equilibrium equations. In this method, the force density ratios of the borders to the membrane is the main parameter for shape-finding. In fact, the shape is evolved and improved with the help of the stress state that is combined with the desired boundary conditions. This paper is evaluated the optimum amount of this ratio considering the curvature of the flexible boarders for structural configurations, i.e., hypar and conic membranes. Results of this study can be used (in the absence of the guidelines) for the fast and optimal design of fabric structures.
