최근린사상법을 활용한 6대 광역시 녹지네트워크 경향 분석 (An Analysis of Urban Green Network using Nearest Features Model in Korean Metropolitan Cities)

  • This study was carried out to investigate the current urban forest network and future plan of forest framework using nearest features program where stepping stones within 5km from the core forest were selected in the program. We found several conclusions as follows: First, we found that cities in inland area including Daegu, Dajeon and Gwangju have quite different types of forest network with comparing to the cities nearby coastline including Busan, Incheon and Ulsan. The cities in inland area have large mountain patch around each city. However they have small and lower number of island forests within their urban area. Otherwise, cities nearby coastline have more forest patches than in the cities in inland area, and Busan and Incheon especially have strong forest network using various size of forest patches. Second, Daegu and Daejeon have much smaller forest patches distributed in each urban area. So additional forest patches should be added to have highly strong forest network within urban area. Third, Ulsan and Gwangju have most stepping-stone forests close to the large mountain patches in suburban area, which are not able to connect to the forest patches in the central area of each city So additional forest patches are needed to be added in the central area of each city for reinforcing the effect of stepping stone in the central area. Though there should be an addition approach except for forest size and its isolation to construct the ecological network in an urban area, this indices can be a good method to check an environmental and ecological status in an urban area.

남산 소나무군락의 토양호흡과 환경요인인 기온과 강수량과의 상호관계 및 도시림 관리의 의미 (Correlation between a Soil Respiration and Environmental Factors, Air Temperature and Precipitation in Pinus densiflora Community in Namsan and Meaning on an Urban Forest Management)

  • 본 연구에서는 대도시공원 내 소나무군락의 토양권의 유기탄소 배출량을 정량화하여 기후요인과의 관계를 분석하고 이를 통해 토양호흡량 배출을 감축하기 위한 관리방안을 마련하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 서울시 남산에 위치하고 있는 소나무군락의 토양호흡량의 유기탄소량을 조사하고 환경요인과 연결시켜 관련성을 알아보았다. 그 결과 남산 소나무군락의 토양호흡량의 평균 유기탄소량은 7.978 ton C ha-1 yr-1로 2011년에 6.893 ton C ha-1 yr-1에서 2018년에 8.660 ton C ha-1 yr-1로 약 0.682 ton C ha-1 yr-1 만큼 증가하였다. 또한, 봄철(3월-5월)의 강수량은 토양호흡의 증감을 설명하는 환경요인 중 하나였다. 이는 도시림의 생태적 관리를 위해서는 토양함수량이 높아지지 않도록 배수관리가 중요함을 시사한다.

도시계획 수립에 있어 도시생태현황지도 활용방안 연구 - 용도지역과 시가화예정용지를 중심으로 - (A Study on the Utilization of Biotope Map in Urban Planning - Focusing on the land use designation and planned urbanized area -)

  • In South Korea, there is a growing domestic need for a biotope map which contains ecological and environmental geographic information of a city. After the production of a Urban Ecological Maps(biotope map) by the Seoul metropolitan government in 2000, Natural Environment Conservation Act was revised in 2017 to make it mandatory for a local government to draw up its own urban ecological map. The aim of the present study was to find out ways to utilize an urban ecological map as a mean of communication between natural environment planning and urban planning sectors in a preliminary stage before introducing a big framework of 'environmental and ecological planning.' The northern area of Incheon metropolitan city was selected as the target area for this study. The major research content includes a comparative analysis of special-purpose zones, urban planning zones, restricted development zones, and conservation forests with focus on biotope types and Grades 1 of 'Biotope Type Assessment.' Farmland biotopes and forest biotopes within an area designated as an urban zone (residential, commercial and industrial zones) need to be redesignated as a zone which can conserve them. Especially considering a high possibility of damage to a large scale of natural green areas, these areas need to be readjusted immediately. If the entire area designated as an urban planning zone is to be developed, it is likely to cause serious damage to natural biotopes in the area (56.2%), including farmland biotope (30.4%), forest biotope (15.0%) and grassland biotope (10.8%), and thus, readjustment is needed. In case of a conservation forest, as it can possibly be damaged by the designation of special-purpose zones, it is necessary to match the designation of conservation forests or a special-purpose zones with their biotope types. In conclusion, we present a variety of thematic maps for utilization of an urban ecological map and propose a phase-specific environmental and ecological plan. Phase 1 is the establishment of a urban plan in consideration of ecological status; Phase 2 is the independent establishment of an environmental and ecological plan by an environment department; Phase 3 is an integrated management of ecological planning system and urban planning system.

한국의 생태지역별 산불특성과 임상분포패턴과의 관계 (The Relationship between Characteristics of Forest Fires and Spatial Patterns of Forest Types by the Ecoregions of South Korea)

  • 산불을 고려하여 효율적으로 산림을 관리하기 위해서는 임상분포패턴과 산불특성과의 관계 규명이 요구된다. 본 연구에서는 기후형과 산불 빈도 및 규모를 표현하는데 유용한 생태지역을 단위로, 임상분포패턴 및 산불특성을 분석하고, 두 인자 간의 관계를 살펴 보았다. 이를 위해 수치임상도의 경관분석을 통해 생태지역별 전체 임상과 산불에 취약한 소나무 임분의 분포패턴을 분석하고, 산림청의 산불통계자료를 이용하여 생태지역별 산불특성을 추출한 다음 정준상관분석을 수행하였다. 임상패치는 산림면적비율이 높은 생태지역일수록 크고 복잡하였으며, 소나무 임분은 해안지역을 중심으로 형태가 복잡하고 패치 간의 근접성이 높았다. 1,000ha 당 산불발생건수는 도시화된 생태지역에서 많았으나, 건당 피해면적과 확산속도는 낮았다. 이와 반대로 "강원해안" 등 산림비율이 높은 생태지역에서는 적은 발생건수와 넓은 피해면적, 빠른 확산속도를 보였다. 정준상관분석 결과 산불특성은 소나무 임분의 경관지수와 유의한 상관관계가 있었는데, 소나무 임분 면적이 크면서 응집된 구조를 갖는 해안 생태지역일수록 장시간 연소되어 피해면적이 큰 특성을 보였다.

코로나19 팬데믹 이후 산림 휴양 활동의 변화 요인 (Factors Affecting Changes in Forest Recreational Activities During the COVID-19 Pandemic)

  • 코로나19 발생 이후 사회적 거리두기 등 제재로 인해 일상과 여가생활이 변화되면서 산림 휴양 활동에도 영향을 주고 있다. 이 연구는 코로나19 이후 국내 산림 휴양 활동의 참여가 어떻게 달라졌는지 파악하고 그 변화 요인을 규명하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 전국 성인 남녀 1,000명을 표본 추출하여 온라인 설문조사를 실시하고, 상호작용항을 포함하는 이항 로짓 모형을 이용하여 코로나19에 따른 산림 휴양 활동 참여의 변화 요인을 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 코로나19 이후 산림 휴양 활동으로서 녹지공간 방문, 숲 야외활동, 산촌 여행에의 참여가 모두 감소하였음을 확인하였다. 세 유형의 산림 휴양 활동에서 20대보다 40~60대의 참여가 더 크게 감소하여 코로나19 이후 산림 휴양 활동 변화에서 연령이 가장 중요한 변수로 나타났다. 또한 소득이 높을수록 코로나19 이후 숲 야외활동 참여가 급격히 감소하였으며, 수도권 거주자들은 비수도권 거주자보다 산촌 여행 참여가 덜 감소하였다. 이것으로 볼 때 코로나19 이후 산림 정책은 2030세대의 새로운 산림 휴양 수요에 대응하고 안전한 야외 활동의 공간으로서의 산림과 산촌의 기능을 확대시키기 위한 정보의 제공과 공간관리가 중요할 것으로 보인다.

지역산림계획을 위한 주요 수종의 지역별 특화에 관한 연구 (Study on the Regional Specialization of Major Species for Regional Forest Plans)

  • 우리나라는 공 사유림에 대해서 광역시 도가 지역산림계획을 수립하여 산림을 경영하도록 하고 있으며 지역산림 계획은 국가 단위의 산림기본계획과 임분 단위로 수립되는 산림경영계획을 연결하는 고리로서 매우 중요하다. 따라서 지역산림계획을 보다 효율적으로 작성하는데 필요한 지역단위 산림자원에 대한 분석이 요구된다. 본 연구에서는 광역시 도 단위로 어느 수종이 집중되어 있는지 제시하여 지역산림계획의 효율적 수립에 기여하고자 하였다. 집중도 분석을 위한 방법으로는 특화계수와 상대집중계수를 사용하였으며 이를 면적과 재적 자료를 통하여 각각 산정하였다. 그 결과 각 시 도별로 집중되어져 있는 임업통계연보에서 제시된 주요 수종들을 순위 별로 제시하였다. 연구의 결과는 지역산림계획 수립 시 해당 지역에 집중된 수종을 고려하여 목표수종 혹은 경영방향을 수립하는데 기여할 수 있을 것이다. 면적과 재적 기준의 결과 차이에 대한 추가적인 연구를 통해 차후 지역의 수종별 생산성 요소도 반영할 수 있으리라 사료된다.

도시민의 농촌어메니티자원 체험욕구 분석 (An Experience Needs Analysis on the Rural Amenity Resources of Urbanites)

  • This study intends analyzes the experience urbanites need regarding rural amenities when visiting rural areas for leisure. For this purpose, 18 rural amenities that can be experienced at 65 traditional rural villages and are designated by the rural development administration(RDA) were selected. Based on rural amenity selection, a questionnaire survey was conducted in 10 cities with 1,052 urban residents. The cities were divided into 5 metropolitan cities(Seoul, Busan, Daegu, Kwangju and Daejeon) and 5 small cities in each province(Chuncheon, Suwon, Jeonju, Chungju and Pohang). The study results suggest that of the 18 rural amenities, urbanites want greater experience with landscape resources near water and forests, health resources related to food and traditional resources such as traditional architecture and culture. Those amenities not chosen were animals, famous people and agricultural landscapes. In addition, women indicated more experience needs than men. Specifically, women want to experience the rural amenities dealing with tradition and health. In addition, people under 40 want to experience active program related festivals(events) and arts and crafts, whereas the group over 40 prefers a non-active program, such as observing the rural landscape and planting. College graduates want to experience the landscape while college students prefer arts and crafts and festivals(events). Those with below average salaries want to experience the most rural amenities. There were no differences in experience needs between those surveyed in metropolitan cities and those in small cities. Finally, the people who visited rural areas within the last year want to experience water, plants, agricultural landscape, health and rural life resources more than other groups, and there is correlation between plans to visit rural villages and experience needs. The results of this study provide insightful information for rural planning strategies such as selection of the type of marketing segments.

도시림의 보호 및 증진관리를 위한 계획제도에 관한 연구 - 대전광역시를 사례로 - (Planning System on Conservation and Improvement of Urban Forest - A Case Study in Daejon City, Korea -)

  • Urban forest area in South Korea has been increased up to 20.8% of national land as of 2007 by the mergence of municipalities and counties. The rate of park and green tract among urban forest averages out to about 4% nationally but the Capital, Seoul, almost 105% level, not easy to split the two. Park and green has positive management system because of its infrastructure attribute and relevant security obligation standard while urban forest left alone with no such concerns. The most important reason of the negligence comes from institutional inertia although it is possible to be managed functionally by forest laws as like forests of park, landscape, wind and noise protection, and timber product. As a results, it reaches below than 92.64% of the national average level of the timber stockpile especially in the metropolitan areas and loses broad acres rapidly due to the easy conversion system to the urban land usage. Therefore, there must be required some alternative methodologies to conserve and foster it. The paper proposes the four urban forest management types and their control methods. The four types divide into conservation, foster, development, and reservation ones. Also it suggests the five furtherance tract types with the combination among the four earlier types, optionally having one of the six aim climaxes and recommends the standardization of operation design. The total green quantity index of urban forest also suggested by the weight method according to location and DBH class. The case study of the suggested model was executed on the Daejon Metropolitan area and its index calculated as 110.4% level compared with the acreage.

An EDA Analysis of Seoul Metropolitan Area's Mountain Usage Patterns of Users in Their 20~30s after COVID-19 Occurrence

  • Background and objective: The purpose of this study was to comprehensively analyze the user behavior in order to cope appropriately with the increasing demand for mountain usage of those in their 20s and 30s and to allocate resources efficiently. Methods: To analyze the behavior of mountain hiking users, an exploratory data analysis (EDA) was conducted on the data which had been collected in the app Tranggle. The main target are users in their 20s and 30s who visited the mountains in the metropolitan area in 2019-2020. Among them, we have selected data on the top 13 mountains based on the frequency of visits. After data pre-processing, mountain usage patterns were analyzed through statistical analysis and visualization. Results: Compared to 2019, the number of users in 2020 increased 1.36 times. The utilization rate of the well-established hiking trails has also increased. The usage of mountain on weekends (Saturday > Sunday) was still the highest, and the difference in the usage between the days of the week decreased. Outside of work hours, early morning usage has increased and night-time usage has decreased. There was no significant change in usages depending on activity type, level (experience point) and exercise properties. Conclusion: Since the COVID-19 outbreak, the usage of mountains has been changing towards low user density and short-distance trip. in the post-COVID-19 era, the function and role of forests in daily life are expected to increase. To cope with this, further research needs to be carried out with consideration of the wider demographic and social characteristics.

서울 양재천 하천 숲 조성에 의한 야생조류 서식특성 변화 연구 (A Study on Change of Wild Bird Habitat Characteristics According to Riparian Forest Construction in Yangjae Stream, Seoul)

  • The purpose of this study is to provide basic data and evidence for the habitat improvement of wild birds in urban stream by analyzing changes in habitat characteristics of wild birds by riparian forest construction in Yangjae stream in Seoul. In Gangnam-gu, the multi layered riparian forest consisting of landscape trees and shrubs was formed on the slope. In Seocho-gu, the vertical vegetation structure of woody and herbaceous wetland plants was good. In Gangnam-gu, the vegetation area of the slope increased and the vertical stratification structure affected the species diversity of the forest birds. The number of species and individuals of plovers, sandpipers and wagtails decreased due to the impact of bicycle roads and trails. The poor forests on the levee slope in Seocho-gu affected the habitat selection and migration of the forest birds. The willows and amur silver-grasses formed in the riverside have been developed into the riparian forest, thus stabilizing the habitat of water birds by blocking disturbances from the influence of the trails.
