Invisible Web 탐색도구의 성능 비교 및 분석 (The Effectiveness of the Invisible Web Search Tools)

  • 본 연구는 표준 웹 탐색엔진에 색인되지 않는 Invisible Web에 대한 특성과 Invisible Web 탐색도구들을 파악하고, 이들 도구에서 Invisible Web 탐색의 성능을 비교 평가하기 위해 수행되었다. 표준 웹 탐색엔진이 Google과 Invisible Web 탐색엔진인 Incy Wincy, Invisible Web 메타탐색엔진인 Profusion과 Search. com 에서 11개의 탐색질문이 탐색되었다. Profusion과 Search. com, Incy Wincy에서의 Invisible Web(메타) 탐색 기능은 이 세 엔진에서 제공하는 웹 메타탐색기능과도 비교되었다. 탐색결과 Google이 Invisible Web 탐색에서 Invisible Web 탐색엔진보다 .15 -.35 높은 적합성순위정확률을 보였지만 통계적으로 유의한 차이는 아니었다. (${\alpha}$=.055). Invisible Web 탐색엔진에서 웹 메타탐색은 Invisible Web(메타)탐색보다 통계적으로 유의한 수준에서 더 우수한 것으로 나타났다. 성능평가에 사용된 적합성순위정확률은 검색된 문헌의 질 (적합성)과 적합문헌의 순위를 반영하는 정확률 척도로 사용될 수 있음을 보여주었다.

독해력 증진 프로그램 효과에 대한 메타분석 (Meta analysis on the effect of reading development program on reading comprehension)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 메타분석법을 이용하여 독해력 증진 프로그램의 효과를 분석하는 것이다. 이를 위해 2001년부터 2011년까지 연구된 독해력 관련 연구 70편을 종합한 효과크기를 산출하였으며, 이를 토대로 다음과 같은 연구결과를 얻었다. 첫째, 독해력 증진 프로그램 효과에 대한 평균 효과크기는 0.763으로 큰 편이었다. 둘째, 초등학교의 효과크기가 1.030으로 가장 큰 가운데, 학교 급간에는 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 있었다. 셋째, 학술지의 평균 효과크기가 1.250으로 학위논문의 평균 효과크기인 0.700 보다 통계적으로 유의하게 더 큰 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 효과 측정방법에 대해서는 읽기방법의 효과크기가 더 컸으며, 다섯째, 적용언어에 대해서는 한국어가 영어보다 유의적으로 더 큰 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구를 수행하는 과정에서 미발표된 연구결과물을 포함시키지 못한 점은 본 연구의 한계이다. 그러나 메타분석을 활용하여 독해력 증진 프로그램의 효과에 대한 통합적인 결과를 도출하려는 시도는 나름대로 의의를 갖는다고 하겠다.

Effectiveness of Arch Support Taping is Subjects With Excessive Foot Pronation: A Meta-analysis

  • Background: An excessive pronated foot is defined as a flattening or complete loss of the medial longitudinal arch. Excessive foot pronation is considered to have high risk factors of overuse injuries in the lower limb. Various treatments have been investigated in attempts to control excessive pronation. Objects: This meta-analysis identifies the effects of an anti-pronation taping technique using different materials. Methods: The electronic databases used include MEDLINE, the Physiotherapy Evidence Database (PEDro), Science Direct, the Korean Studies Information Service System (KISS), the Research Information Sharing Service (RISS), the Korea National Library, and the Korean Medical Database (studies published up to July 31, 2019). The database search used the following keywords: "foot drop" OR "foot arch" OR "foot pronation" OR "flat foot (pes planus)" AND "taping" OR "support." Eight eligible studies were analyzed to determine the effectiveness of anti-pronation taping in study and control groups. Results: The overall random effect size (Hedges'g) of the anti-pronation taping technique was 0.147 (95% confidence interval [CI]: -.214 to .509). When the effect (Hedges' g) was compared by the type of tape material, rigid tape (RT; Lowdye taping) was .213 (95% CI: -.278 to .704) and kinesiotape (KT; arch support taping) was -.014 (95% CI: -.270 to .242). Based on this meta-analysis, it was not possible to identify the extent to which anti-pronation taping was effective in preventing navicular drop, improving balance, or changing foot pressure. Only three of the eight eligible studies applied KT on excessive pronated feet, and the outcome measure areas were different to those of the RT studies. The KT studies used EMG data, overall foot posture index (FPI) scores, and rear foot FPI scores. In contrast, the RT studies measured navicular heights, various foot angles, and foot pressure. Conclusion: This review could not find any conclusive evidence about the effectiveness of any taping method for patients with pronated feet. Future studies are needed to develop the anti-pronation taping technique based on the clinical scientific evidence.

  • 빅데이터 분석은 기존 데이터베이스 관리 도구로부터 데이터를 수집, 저장, 관리, 분석할 수 있는 역량을 말한다. 또한 대량의 정형 또는 비정형 데이터 집합으로부터 가치를 추출하고 결과를 분석하는 기술을 의미한다. 많은 연구자들이 동일한 주제로 발표된 연구결과들을 요약해서 설명하는 방법이 메타분석이다. 메타분석은 여러 실증연구의 정량적인 결과를 통합과 분석을 통해 전체 결과를 조망할 수 있는 기회를 제공해 주는 통계적 통합 방법이다. 따라서 본 연구는 콜라겐 섭취가 인체에 미치는 영향 요인을 알아보기 위해 문헌적 고찰을 통해 선행연구를 살펴보고 열거된 요인에 관한 실증 분석된 연구들을 메타분석하기 위해 2000년-2016년 국내 학술지에 게재된 연구 21개 논문을 대상으로 하였다. 분석결과를 바탕으로 연구의 한계와 시사점을 제시하고자 한다.

A Meta-Model for Development Process of IoT Application by Using UML

  • An Internet of Things(IoT) technology which provides intelligent services by combining context-awareness based intelligences, inter-communication is made of between things and things or between things and person through the network connected with intelligent things is spreading rapidly. Especially as this technology is converged into smart device, mobile, cloud, big data technologies, it is applied into various domains. Therefore, this is different from existing Web or Mobile Application. New types of IoT applications are emerging by adapting IoT into Web or mobile. Because IoT application is not only focused on software but also considering hardware or things aspect, there are limitations existing development process. Existing development processes don't consider analysis and design techniques considering both hardware and things. We propose not only a meta-model for development process which can support IoT application's development but also meta-models for main activities in this paper. Especially we define modeling elements by using UML's extension mechanisms, provide development process, and suggest design techniques how to apply those elements into IoT application's modeling phase. Because there are many types of IoT application's type, we propose an Android and Arduino-based on IoT application as a case study. We expect that proposed technique can be applied into many of various IoT application development and design with a form of flexible and extensible as well as main functionalities or elements are more concretely described. As a result, it brings IoT application's flexibility and the effect of quality improvement.

만성허리통증의 고유수용성신경근촉진법 효과 -국내연구의 메타분석과 체계적 고찰- (Effectiveness of Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation of Chronic Low Back Pain -A Systematic Review and Meta-analysis of Studies in Korea-)

  • Purpose: This study compares and examines the effects of proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation (PNF) on patients with chronic low back pain through systematic literature review and meta-analysis. Methods: Domestic literature was searched with combinations of keywords including "proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation," "PNF," "back pain," and "low back pain" using the Research Information Sharing Service (RISS), Korean Studies Information Service System (KISS), and Korean Medical Database (KMbase). Six studies (n=148) were finally included in the analysis through a selection and exclusion process. The quality of the studies was evaluated using the PEDro scale. Results: According to the meta-analysis results, the low back pains of the PNF group and the contrast group showed a standardized mean difference (SMD) of 2.21 (95% CI: -3.35, -1.07, p=0.01, $I^2=83%$) after intervention. Thus, the PNF group showed a statistically significant decrease in low back pain compared with the control group. In addition, the SMDs of the Oswestry Disability Index (ODI), lung function, and the Roland and Morris Disability Questionnaire (RMDQ) were -1.34 (95% CI: -1.88, -0.79, p<0.01, $I^2=35%$), 1.14 (95% CI: 0.49, 1.79, p=0.01, $I^2=0%$), and -1.59 (95% CI: -2.56, -0.62, p=0.01, $I^2=46%$), respectively. Thus, the PNF group showed statistically significant differences from the control group. Conclusion: At present, there is some limit to obtaining definite results about effect sizes because there are relatively few randomized controlled experiments that analyze the effects of PNF exercise in patients with chronic low back pain. Therefore, continuous efforts should be made to conduct randomized clinical trials and long-term efficacy studies in the future.

이상근증후군의 도침치료에 대한 체계적 문헌고찰 및 메타 분석 (Systematic Review and Meta-analysis on Acupotomy for Piriformis Muscle Syndrome)

  • Objectives This study was conducted to analyze the effect of using acupotomy for piriformis muscle syndrome. Methods The databases used for the search were PubMed, Embase, Cochrane library, China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI), Koreanstudies Information Service System (KISS), Research Information Sharing Service (RISS), Oriental Medicine Advanced Searching Integrated System (OASIS), KMbase, and National Digital Science Library (NDSL). The literature was searched using a total of 9 domestic and foreign databases. randomized controlled trial using only acupotomy as an intervention was selected. The selected studies are analyzed the risk of bias through Cochrane risk of bias, and meta-analysis was performed using Revman. Results As a result of meta-analysis of 11 selected studies, acupotomy was more effective than nerve block and acupuncture. In terms of visual analog scale and immediate analgesic effect, acupotomy did not have statistically significant results compared to other treatment methods. meta-analysis of electro-acupuncture and acupotomy showed no significant results. Conclusions When acupotomy is applied as a treatment for piriformis muscle syndrome, it is more effective than nerve block and acupuncture. but most of the studies have been judged as 'unclear' in the risk of bias assessment. Due to characteristics of treatment group and control group's intervention, It is judged that the blinding of the participant was not properly implemented. Therefore, it is considered that high-quality studies are necessary to supplement the problems in the future.

Meta-analysis of the Effect of Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation Training on Gait Ability in Patients with Storke

  • 본 연구의 고유수용성신경근촉진법이 뇌졸중 환자의 균형에 미치는 효과를 알아보기 위한 메타분석 연구이다. 이 연구는 프리지마 가이드 라인에 의해 시행되었으며, 총 3개의 데이터베이스를 이용하여 2020년 12월까지 발행된 무작위 배정 연구로 한정하여 검색하였다. 데이터베이스에서 검색된 1475개의 연구 중 본 연구 선정기준에 부합된 12편의 연구를 선정하였다. 개별 연구들의 효과크기를 산출하기 위해 R 프로그램을 이용하였다. 고유수용성신경촉진법이 뇌졸중 환자의 보행 능력에 미치는 전체 효과크기는 0.67으로 중간 정도 효과로 나타났다. 보행에 대한 하위변수에 대한 효과크기는 게이트 라이트 0.69, 10 미터 걷기 검사 0.59로 중간 정도의 효과크기로 나타났다. 이처럼 고유수용성신경근촉진법이 뇌졸중 환자의 보행 능력에 긍정적인 영향을 주었다.

  • Objectives This review investigates the effectiveness of electroacupuncture for impairment of motor and sensory functions after spinal cord injury. Methods The databases used for the search were PubMed, Cochrane Library, EMBASE, China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI), National Digital Science Library (NDSL), Koreanstudies Information Service System (KISS), Research Information Sharing Service (RISS), KMBASE, and Oriental Medicine Advanced Searching Integrated System (OASIS). The literature were searched using a total of 9 domestic and foreign databases. Randomized controlled trials (RCTs) using electroacupuncture as an intervention was selected. The selected studies are analyzed the risk of bias through Cochrane risk-of-bias tool, and meta-analysis was perfomed using RevMan version 5.3 (The Nordic Cochrane Centre, The Cochrane Collaboration, Copenhagen, Denmark). Results A total of 14 RCT studies were selected through 9 domestic and foreign databases, and analyzed. As a result of meta-analysis, when electroacupuncture was performed together with rehabilitation treatment or western drug treatment, it was effective in the recovery of motor and sensory functions of spinal cord injury patients. Conclusions This review suggests that electroacupuncture can be applied as an effective treatment for the recovery of motor and sensory functions of spinal cord injuries. However, there are several limitations, including the small number and heterogeneity of the included studies, as well as their poor methodological quality. Therefore, further, higher-quality studies should be required.

공학설계 최적화 문제 해결을 위한 GA-VNS-HC 접근법 (GA-VNS-HC Approach for Engineering Design Optimization Problems)

  • 본 연구에서는 공학설계 최적화 문제 해결을 위한 혼합 메타휴리스틱(Hybrid Meta-heuristic) 접근법을 제안된다. 공학 설계 최적화 문제는 다양한 형태의 변수를 가지며, 복잡한 제약조건들하에서 그 최적해를 구하는 문제로 이미 많은 기존 연구들을 통해 다양한 접근법들이 개발되어져 왔다. 하지만 그 효율성은 아직까지 크게 개선되지 못하고 있는 실정이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 이러한 효율성을 개선하기 위한 새로운 접근법을 제안한다. 제안된 혼합 메타휴리스틱 접근법은 탐색 공간에 대한 전역적 탐색을 위해 유전알고리즘(Genetic Algorithm: GA) 접근법, 지역적 탐색을 위해 변동이웃탐색(Variable Neighborhood Search: VNS) 접근법과 언덕오르기(Hill Climbing: HC) 접근법을 혼합(GA-VNS-HC)하였다. 사례 연구에서는 다양한 형태의 공학설계 최적화 문제를 이용하여 본 연구에서 제안한 GA-VNS-HC 접근법의 우수성을 입증하였다.
