As a result, There was no statistically significant difference in the educational effect according to the mentoring service period, method, and frequency, and there was a statistically significant difference in self-directed learning ability according to the mentoring time. As a result of analyzing the effect of the perception of the mentor on the educational effect, the more positive the mentor and the more positive the mentor role, the higher the self-directed learning ability and emotional stability. As for the learning effect, mentoring satisfaction had the greatest influence on the learning effect of Korean, English, and mathematics. The mentor role was affecting the Korean language and mathematics. Therefore, in order to reduce the learning gap of underprivileged students in the distance learning situation, the EBS learning mentoring project should be continuously promoted, and the mentoring period and the number of students and teachers participating in mentoring should be significantly increased.

The experimental group was consisted of 20 mentor students, formed as a high level being less than 20% of achievement test, and 20 mentee, low level less than 15% of that. The mentoring activities were conducted 23 times for 8 weeks and progressed for 15~30 minutes after the teacher's main classes. During the mentoring activity, studying materials were provided to students and mentees asked to mentors for the parts which were difficult to understand among the contents of classes and got replies by arranging studying materials. As the results of this study, First, peer mentoring activity was shown statistically meaningful effects and improved the academic achievement in mentee's group than traditional classes (p<.01). But, there was no meaningful effects on mentor's achievement (p>.05). Second, the students who took part in the peer mentoring activity said that it was a good chance to have a close relationship between mentors and mentees. Also, the science recognition of the students were changed positively even though the science is hard and difficult to memorize, but interesting subject included the experiments. Third, the satisfaction of the peer mentoring activity is high both mentors and mentees (p<.01). Fourth, according to mentees' positive attitude, and as the level of closeness is higher, the academic achievement was increased. Based on this study, if teachers organize mentoring team effectively according to their closeness, one can expect the positive change of recognition on science as well as academic achievement of mentees.

  • This research aims to validate the effectiveness of the "Specialized Entrepreneurship University Program," which was conducted as part of government entrepreneurship support initiatives from 2018 to 2022. Based on previous studies, a research model was derived consisting of three laboratory entrepreneurship support factors that influence program satisfaction and entrepreneurial outcomes (infrastructure support, educational mentoring support, and business linkage support). Surveys were collected and analyzed from 126 laboratory entrepreneurship firms participating in the program, and empirical analysis of the research model was conducted using SPSS 23.0 statistical software. The analysis results indicated that the three variables, namely infrastructure support, educational mentoring support, and business linkage support, were significant factors affecting program satisfaction, and program satisfaction was confirmed to influence entrepreneurial outcomes. Furthermore, it was found that the three business operation factors indirectly influenced entrepreneurial outcomes by partially mediating program satisfaction. This study is considered significant as an empirical study for the initial stage of the second-phase program enhancement, verifying the effectiveness of laboratory entrepreneurship support factors. The findings can be applied to similar government entrepreneurship support initiatives and contribute to the effective strategy and planning of stakeholders involved. The limitations of this study include the need for further research on the perception of the extent to which it contributes to entrepreneurial outcomes, emphasizing caution in interpreting the research model, and the necessity for expanding the survey population and improving survey items in future research.

  • This study was conducted to find out the effect of the role of a mentor on work outcomes and job satisfaction among the cooks working at five star hotels in Busan and Ulsan areas. 192 samples were obtained and analyzed using a social science statistics program SPSS/PC + for Window 12.0 along with frequency analysis, factor analysis, reliability analysis and regression analysis. The results of the analyses are as follows. First, experience and skills helped develop a bond of sympathy and cooperative relationships between a mentor and a mentee enabling them to achieve the organization's goal and provide high quality services. Second, the work execution and protective function of a mentor can create active planning and acting by helping individuals to improve for the future and giving them opportunities for professional works. Third, the psychological and social function of a mentor can create a bond of sympathy through personal contact, maintain smooth relationships in an organization and affect satisfaction in the working environment. Therefore, a mentor can have positive effects on work outcomes and satisfaction among cooks and also improve them. In this respect, through various efforts to institutionalize and activate the current nonofficial mentoring system into an official one, it should be used as a way of improving business performance and competitiveness.

  • In order to support start-ups effectively with limited resources, it is necessary to provide support tailored to start-up companies. Businesses that are operating in local incubation centers may have different demands for the support depending on the region characteristics. This study was worked on companies that have entered into the incubation center 'Youth Cube', which is operated by Ansan City. We investigated the perception of importance in the field of support to identify support policy priorities, and the satisfaction level of each field of support currently supported. Then We conducted an IPA analysis to derive the direction of support. The Ansan area has regional characteristics that it is located in the metropolitan area with well-equipped start-up infrastructure and many innovative institutions, As a result of the importance survey, technology commercialization was recognized as the most important, and education/mentoring was recognized as the least important. Satisfaction with the space and facilities that can be used free of charge was the highest, and the satisfaction was the lowest for entrepreneurship education/mentoring, as was the degree of importance. In addition, according to each quadrant, we derived support that should be maintained, support that should be intensively improved, support that should be given a low policy priority, and support directions that should be kept in mind to avoid excessive support.

  • Owing to pandemic (COVID-19), the traditional face-to-face education method has been changed to the non-face-to-face real-time online education methods. Using a real time-based video conference system, synchronous education can be adopted by face-to-face class easily. Specially, it is very important to minimize the difference in learning effects between face-to-face and non-face-to-face in Entrepreneurship education. In this study, in order to derive the factors that affect the satisfaction of learners in synchronous online education, authors collected data from learners taking a synchronous entrepreneurship course. Through previous research, learned the reality of education and the composition of lessons. Spatiotemporal effectiveness, mentor ability, and educational environment influence learning satisfaction. PLS-SEM results revealed that it was confirmed that only spatiotemporal effects affect learner satisfaction. However, the education environment (fluent operation and convenience of function use of real-time based online conference system) effect teaching presence, class structure, and spatiotemporal effects. Through this research, we hope to provide theoretical and practical support for developing effective teacher activities, proper lesson structure, convenient function of the conference system, and learner-centered online learning environment when developing synchronous online classes.

  • This survey research examined the effectiveness, gender identity and the satisfaction of life of female leaders in government, in relation to the organizational culture regarding gender discrimination. The respondents were high -ranking (above 5th grade) male (N=154) and female (N=150) leaders in government and the supervisors (N= 139) of the female leaders. The results demonstrated that the effectiveness of female leaders was rated lower as she helped her junior females at work more as a mentor, while she was rated as being more effective as her leadership style became more relationship-oriented. The satisfaction of life of female leaders was higher as she engaged more in mentoring to the junior females and as she had more positive gender identity. However, life satisfaction became lower as the organizational culture became more discriminating toward females. The discriminating organizational culture was also correlated negatively with the interpersonal relationship between females(especially the relationship with the female seniors). These results are indicating that the behaviors, the effectiveness ratings and the satisfaction of life of female leaders in Government are restricted by the gender -discriminating organizational culture and the cultural stereotypes of the members in the organization.
