  • Recently, 3D printing technology has been considered as a core applicable technology because it brings many improvements such as the development of medical technology, medical customization, and reducing production cost and shortening treatment period. This research suggests a market prediction framework for medical 3D printing business. As an immature market situation, it is important to control some uncertainty for market prediction such as a customers' conversion rate. So we adopt decision making tree (DMT) model which used to choose an optimal decision making among diverse pathway. Among medical industries this paper just focuses on dentistry business. For predicting a 5 year period trend expected market size, we identified some replaceable denture procedure by 3D printing, collected related data, controlled uncertain variables. The result shows that medical 3D printing business could be a market of 28.2 billion won at 1st year and in the end of fifth year it could become on a scale of 61.1 billion won market.

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of flipped learning on self-directed learning and academic achievement in national competence standards (NCS) based physical assistant skills in the emergency medical technology(EMT) students. Methods: One-group pretest-post test design was used. Flipped learning was carried out for 2 hours per week for 16 weeks. A self-reported questionnaire was completed by 56 EMT students from March 3 to June 16, 2016. Data were analyzed by paired t-test and Pearson correlation coefficient using SPSS 18.0 program. Results: After completion of flipped learning, significant improvement was found in self-directed learning(t = 6.04, p < .001), academic achievement($3.25{\pm}.79$) and academic achievement((t = 6.41, p < .001). There was a significant positive correlation among self-directed learning and academic achievement. Conclusion: Flipped learning is useful teaching and learning method to the EMT students.

  • The present study has been conducted to evaluate the experience in using peer-to-peer platforms and immersive technologies in the training of future masters of pharmacy from the Pharmaceutical Faculty of Bogomolets National Medical University, Ukraine. The selected participants were given the pre- and post-test containing multiple choice questions to assess the effectiveness of immersive technologies. Further, a self-designed structured questionnaire contained 10 questions with 5 options was delivered to consented participants through email and WhatsApp. The results of test presented that students attained an average of 26% in their pre-test while the average attained score post-test was 74% that showed a significant improvement with peer-to-peer platforms and virtual reality technology. The results of survey questions also showed an overall 86.73% satisfaction for the use of peer-to-peer platforms and virtual reality technology in the training of future masters of pharmacy. These results demonstrated that 90.81% showed agreement that they gained a high level of confidence through peer-to-peer platforms and virtual reality to handle patients in clinical practice. It can be concluded that participants of this study showed a strong agreement with positive experience in using peer-to-peer platforms and virtual reality technology in the training of future masters of pharmacy in medical lyceum.

  • Currently, it is not easy for most domestic public libraries to collect and provide reliable health information services on their own. Health information is distributed or professional, making it inconvenient for users to use. Based on the implications derived from the case study, the Library Health Information Integration Service Model was proposed as a specialized information service. The model consists of a composition shared by librarians, health and medical experts, and users, focusing on library websites that provide integrated health information integration services, and has the following features. First, it provides health and medical information on a specialized subject. Second, it provides integrated health and medical information services provided in various ways. Third, librarians and health and medical experts work together to provide information services. Fourth, users can freely use health information integration services online and offline. The model presented in this study means that libraries can play a leading role in health information integration services to increase the utilization rate of public libraries and further contribute to librarians serving as experts in health information services.

  • This study was designed to ask experienced nurses at local and regional emergency medical centers for their awareness of paramedics and for their opinions on a paramedic's proper duties in emergency medical centers. The questionnaire consisted of 61 questions in total, including general questions, questions about awareness of paramedics, and questions about the duties of paramedics in emergency medical centers. For data analysis, SPSS 21.0 was applied to conduct frequency and correlation analyses. Regarding the duties of paramedics in emergency medical centers, there were positive answers in 33 questions of the questionnaire. The need for paramedics who work for emergency medical centers and the importance of their duties in emergency medical centers were high in the questionnaire. In addition, there were positive answers to the questions about the need for the professionalism of paramedics and the nees for increasing the number of paramedics in emergency medical centers. There was no difference between the groups.

  • Kinsenoside is a principle bioactive compound of Anoectochilus formosanus. It exhibits various pharmacological effects such as antihyperglycemic, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, immunostimulating, and hepatoprotective activities and has recently been developed as an antidiabetic drug candidate. In this study, as part of an in vitro pharmacokinetic study, the stability of kinsenoside in rat and human liver microsomes was evaluated. Kinsenoside was found to have good metabolic stability in both rat and human liver microsomes. These results will provide useful information for further in vivo pharmacokinetic and metabolism studies.

GlideScope and the AWS$^{(R)}$, McGrath$^{(R)}$ 비디오 후두경의 기관내 삽관 성공률과 삽관 시간, 시행자의 선호도를 비교한 결과 의미 있는 차이를 보였다.
