Purpose : Because of the unavailability of marrow transplantation, umbilical cord blood (CB) is increasingly being used. We evaluated the potential of ex vivo expansion and clonality in CD34+ cells separated from cord blood source and mobilized peripheral blood (PB) in a serum-free media. Methods : The CD34+ cells, selected from CB and mobilized PB, were expanded with hematopoietic growth factors. They were then cultured for burst-forming units of erythrocytes (BFU-E), colony-forming units of granulocytes and monocytes (CFU-GM) and colony-forming units of megakaryocytes (CFU-Mk) at culture days 0, day 4, day 7, and day 14 with various growth factors. Results : The CB-selected CD34+ cells showed significantly higher total cell expansion than those from the PB at day 7 (2 fold increase than PB). The CB-selected CD34+ cells produced more BFU-E colonies than did the PB on culture at days 7 and at day 14. Also, the CB-selected CD34+ cells produced more CFU-Mk colonies than did the PB on culture at day 4 and at day 7. Conclusion : The ex vivo expansion of the CB cells may be promising in producing total cellular expansion, CFU-Mk and BFU-E compared with PB for 7 to 14 days. The growth factors combination including megakaryocyte growth and development, flt3-ligand and interleukin-3 showed more expansion in the view of total cells and clonal maintenance compared with less combination.

Microorganisms capable of degrading crude oil were isolated and grown in soybean oil as a sole carbon source. The microbial cultures were used to control green peach aphids in vitro. Approximately 60% mortality of aphids was observed when the cultures were applied alone onto aphids. To examine the cultures as a pesticide formulation mixture, the cultures were combined with a low dose of the insecticide imidacloprid (one-fourth dose of recommended field-application rate) and applied onto aphids. The cultures enhanced significantly the insecticidal effectiveness of imidacloprid, which was higher than imidacloprid alone applied at the low dose. The isolated microorganisms exhibited high emulsifying index values and decreased surface tension values after being grown in soybean oil media. GC/MS analyses showed that microorganisms degraded soybean oil to fatty acids. The cultures were suggested to play the roles of wetting, spreading, and sticking agents to improve the effectiveness of imidacloprid. This is the first report on the control of aphids by using oil-degrading microbial cultures.

This study investigated the reduction of food waste through the slurry phase decomposition in a source of food waste by microorganisms. The reactor used in the experiment was composed of both woodchip with wood material and sponges with polyurethane material as media of attached microorganisms, and food waste was mixed with a constant cycle consisted of a stirring device. During the experimental period of 100 days, the change in weight over the cumulative total amount of food waste added was reduced by 99%. Approximately, 1% of the residual food waste could be inherently recalcitrant materials (cellulose, hemicellulose, lignin, etc.) and thus was thought to be the result of the accumulation. The initial pH in wastewater generated from food waste was low with 3.3 and after 24 hours treatment this pH was increased to 5.8. The concentrations of COD, BOD, SS, salinity, TN and TP were gradually decreased. Food waste decay was proceeded by the seven species microorganisms identified and confirmed in this study, making a slurry phase and thus reducing residual food wastes. In the initial phase, the microbial population was approximately $3.3{\times}10^4$ cell/mL, and after 15 days this population was a constant with $5.1{\times}10^6$ cell/mL which means a certain stabilization for the reduction of food wastes. From these results, it can be considered that organic matter decomposition as well as the weight loss of food wastes by microorganisms is done at the same time.

To identify daily and annual changes in outdoor airborne fungi, it is necessary to shorten the collection cycle and increase the number of measurements. In this study, measurements were performed by employing an air sampler and potato dextrose agar media on the rooftop of National Research Institute of Cultural Heritage during a period of one year (August 2018 to July 2019). The collection cycle spanned the twenty-four seasonal divisions and the collection time was 2 p.m. and 11 p.m.. Meteorological elements were collected at intervals of one hour. Furthermore, the concentration of airborne fungi was monitored and correlation analysis with meteorological elements was subsequently conducted. Obtained results indicate that the concentration of airborne fungi is found to be highest in November, autumn, night, followed by autumn, summer, winter, and spring. The concentration, type, and dominant species of airborne fungi can vary depending on factors such as rainfall, typhoons, and yellow dust (fine dust). The concentration of airborne fungi indicates a strong positive linear relationship between precipitation, number of precipitation days, and relative humidity. The concentration of airborne fungi was related to the period of increase of dead plants in terms of nutrition source, and to the high relative humidity conditions including rainfall in terms of meteorological elements.
As the full-motion videos in MPEG are widely available nowadays, an editor that could easily edit such kind of media data is required to develop various multimedia applications. In order to concatenate and apply a transition effect to two video streams encoded in MPEG, they should be decoded first since there are dependencies in the frames in MPEG-encoded video stream. Since this decode-edit-encode process requires a huge amount of computing/storage resources, a new editing scheme that could apply various transition effects to MPEG video streams directly while keeping the quality of video data is strongly required. This paper proposes a new editing scheme that could apply three transition effects (such as fade-in, fade-out, and dissolve) to MPEG video streams in a compressed domain. In the proposed scheme, an extension of previous method in which the frames are partially decompressed and transition effects are applied is adopted for I- and P-frames. In addition, a new processing scheme for B-frame that could apply the transition effects in DCT domain directly using an approximation of motion compensation based on the motion vector to reference frames. Since this processing scheme could apply the transition effects in a compressed domain directly, the editing process could be speed-up about $3{\sim}4$ times faster than previous decode-edit-encoding method while keeping the quality of video data as good as the source data. The proposed scheme could be used to build a software-only MPEG video editing system that helps to edit MPEG video data even on a low-cost desk-top computer.
Being a symbolic image to let traditional 'mother wonlee' contents characters known widely, need to be made in a way that can deliver the powerful message of korea An-dong traditional local contents and the value of regent story. As for the contents character develope methods and the scope of the study, an theoretical study was conducted based on literature review, and, factor plus fiction field surveys, and the legend story and then an effect of character marketing on global contents with original identity. 'mother wonlee' pre-production plaining have been analysis with creative described based on the ancients features and the classification of ancient original characters, and the situation and the concept of An-dong local place. as a results this thesis is show up how to make up a main character develop processing and make a features design processing of the characters who different age and a scenes. as a conclusion is drawing about a 'Wonlee' and 'Eungtea' both main Character plaining processing and graphics; traditional face, all clothes, body proportion, etc. Also we trade to traditional patten with character planing. it will be a high value industry which facilitates a variety of industries in conjunction with marketing traditional source characters in global. The reason of source for a tragic death by the occurrence of an event is $\ulcorner$unobservant of safety rule,$\lrcorner$$\ulcorner$negligence of staff,$\lrcorner$$\ulcorner$deficiency of responsibility$\lrcorner$ and $\ulcorner$deficiency of safety value$\lrcorner$ and for certain reason that is insufficiency of space for safety education also think little of a people, unobservant of safety rule, selfishness and so on. It makes new and specific plan that is simulation room before I compare the inside and outside of the country for a nation the reform of consciousness. Next, go ahead with a plan for about safety-simulation room. The Government can support to plan if it make a proposal to center of Government. It should be make a people of safety system, and it build the safety-simulation room $1{\sim}2$ in the city or county. And, the city cannot build the big safety-simulation room the reason are size of building and money. Accordingly, it will be make a system and installation for different type of safety-simulation room for about calamity, disaster and different type of accident in Korea. It must be build the building of space that should be make a space of knowledge and information by many books and media, develop of education program from life-safety.

In order to investigate the cultural characteristics of Lentinus lepideus, media, pH, carbon sources, nitrogen sources, vitamin and organic acids were tested in submerged culture. It grew well in GPB(broth), and the optimum temperature and pH was $25^{\circ}C$ and 4.2, respectively. The carbon sources such as galactose belong to monosaccharide and maltose belong to disaccharide were effective for mycelial growth. Peptone which is compound nitrogen source was good for mycelial yield but the other nitrogen sources were not effective. Among the various vitamins, pyridoxine is suitable for mycelial yield. Among the various organic acids, citric acid promoted the mycelial yield but acetic acid interrupted the mycelial growth of L. lepideus.

Objectives: This aim of this study was to effectively isolate mesenchymal stem cells (hSMSCs) from human submandibular skin tissues (termed hSMSCs) and evaluate their characteristics. These hSMSCs were then chemically induced to the neuronal lineage and analyzed for their neurogenic characteristics in vitro. Materials and Methods: Submandibular skin tissues were harvested from four adult patients and cultured in stem cell media. Isolated hSMSCs were evaluated for their multipotency and other stem cell characteristics. These cells were differentiated into neuronal cells with a chemical induction protocol. During the neuronal induction of hSMSCs, morphological changes and the expression of neuron-specific proteins (by fluorescence-activated cell sorting [FACS]) were evaluated. Results: The hSMSCs showed plate-adherence, fibroblast-like growth, expression of the stem-cell transcription factors Oct 4 and Nanog, and positive staining for mesenchymal stem cell (MSC) marker proteins (CD29, CD44, CD90, CD105, and vimentin) and a neural precursor marker (nestin). Moreover, the hSMSCs in this study were successfully differentiated into multiple mesenchymal lineages, including osteocytes, adipocytes, and chondrocytes. Neuron-like cell morphology and various neural markers were highly visible six hours after the neuronal induction of hSMSCs, but their neuron-like characteristics disappeared over time (24-48 hrs). Interestingly, when the chemical induction medium was changed to Dulbecco's Modified Eagle Medium (DMEM) supplemented with fetal bovine serum (FBS), the differentiated cells returned to their hSMSC morphology, and their cell number increased. These results indicate that chemically induced neuron-like cells should not be considered true nerve cells. Conclusion: Isolated hSMSCs have MSC characteristics and express a neural precursor marker, suggesting that human skin is a source of stem cells. However, the in vitro chemical neuronal induction of hSMSC does not produce long-lasting nerve cells and more studies are required before their use in nerve-tissue transplants.
The purpose of this paper is to investigate characteristics of active information and opinion giver in the interactive-public communication space of internet. More specifically, this study explores that the active information and opinion giver have the same traits with opinion leader, which are personal attributes (topic involvement and individuation), social activity, source of information and influentials, and socio-demographic attributes. The research consisted of a questionnaire, which was administered using e-mail, and 175 replies were returned. The results show that higher activity of sending information and opinion is associated with characteristics of opinion leader. First, It was found that higher activity group in sending information and opinion have higher degree of topic involvement and individuation than lower group. Second, the former is more active behavior than the latter in social activity. Third, it was examined that behaviors of sending and giving information and opinion with interpersonal communication channel was connected with those of the interactive-public communication space in internet. Also, the result of analysis with mass communication channel was found the distinction in three different kinds of magazines which is related with specific media. Finally, characteristics of socio-demography were not different between two group, with the exception of gender.
