The purpose for this paper is to categorize and analyze the aesthetic characteristics of graphic factors in contemporary fashion design by media source. Focused on play-instinct visual expression in contemporary fashion design and adopted media source following the way of communication design. A variety of literatures and online sites for graphic factors in contemporary fashion was studied. The standard of media source is classified as graphic media-source: photography media-source, typography media-source, illustration media-source. With this standard, expressed ways are as followings. First, graphic media-source in play-instinct expressional fashion design is mostly borrowing existed character or using designer's brand logo. Second, photography media-source in play-instinct expressional fashion design is placed photograph of social issued people in front of shirt. Third, typography media-source in play-instinct expressional contemporary fashion design is mostly expressed social messages or designer's name in brand. Fourth, illustration media-source is the best way to express play-instinct visual expression. Based on these, aesthetic characteristics of graphic factor in contemporary fashion by media source are classified as three: social words, playfulness and information transference. Frequency ratio using media source per aesthetic characteristics is different and these are able to categorize expression way and image feature. In conclusion, expressional way of graphic factors in contemporary fashion design became diverse as social and cultural changing. Frequency of graphic factor use in contemporary fashion is increased than before. This paper suggested that fashion design is one of the way of communicating with people and should be analyzed graphic factors in contemporary fashion design.
The purposes of this study were to categorize the fashion involvement of male and female college students in their twenties and to investigate the relationship of the types of fashion involvement to the conformity to TV media stars and information source. The data were analyzed by factor analysis, one-way ANOVA, Duncan test, cluster analysis, cross-tabulation analysis. The results of this study are as follows; 1. Fashion involvement was categorized into four factors; pleasure, fashionableness, symbolism, and availability. The conformity to TV media stars was categorized into fashion conformity, star imitation, interests in TV programs, and interests in stars. Information source was divided into mass media, product information, and personal information. 2. There were significant differences in the conformity to media stars and information source by the different types of fashion involvement. 3. The results for the correlation between the conformity to TV media stars and information source showed that there were significant correlations with all of the factors.
Recently, media platforms such as YouTube and Twitch provide services that can generate personal revenue by utilizing media content produced by individuals. In this regard, interest in the copyright of media content is increasing. In particular, in the case of an audio source, competition for securing audio source copyright is fierce because it is an essential element for almost all media content production. In this paper, we propose a method to store the audio source and its signature using a blockchain and distributed storage system to verify the copyright of music content. To identify the possibility of extracting the audio signature of the audio source and to include it as blockchain transaction data, we implement the audio source and its signature file upload system based on the proposed scheme. In addition, we show the effectiveness of the proposed method through experiments on uploading and retrieving audio files and identify future improvements.
Feasibility of microbial culture media using by-product of salt fermented kanary was investigated. Gram negative strain, Escherichia coli, and Gram positive strain, Bacillus subtilis, and bioluminescent Photobacterium Phosphoreum were incubated with kanary by-Product media (KB media). Compared with LB media, KB media had enough carbon source, but lacked nitrogen source and growth factor. When 0.5% of peptone as a nitrogen source and 0.3% of yeast extract as nitrogen and growth factor source were fortified in KB media, the cell population rate was similar to LB media. Also, when 0.5% of yeast extract was fortified to KB media, it showed the same result as in LB media. The price of KB media with fortification of 0.5% peptone and 0.3% yeast extract, and 0.5% of yeast extract is only 46 and 19% of that of LB media, respectively. These results showed that kanary by-Product could be a good and cheaper bacterial culture media if small amount of nitrogen source and growth factor were added.
In the age of personal media such as YouTube and Twitch, individual media content creation and consumption have become simpler. A huge amount of media content is created and consumed through platform services. In this regard, interest in copyright of media contents is increasing. In particular, the sound source is an indispensable element in almost all media contents production. In this paper, we propose a method to store the sound source and its signature using blockchain and distributed storage system to verify the copyright of music contents. We Identify the possibility of including the audio signature extraction result of the sound source as blockchain transaction data. Through experiments, we compare the input and output speed when the sound source and its signature are stored in the distributed storage system.

Social media has become a popular source of information around the world. Previous studies explored different trends of social media news consumption. However, no studies have focused on Bangladesh to date, where social media penetration is very high in recent years. To fill this gap, this research aimed to understand its popularity trends during the period. For that reason, this work analyzes 97.67 million page likes and 3.48 billion interaction data collected from nine Bangladeshi news media's Facebook pages between December 2016 to November 2020. The analysis shows that the growth rates of page likes and interaction rates declined during this period. It suggests that the media's Facebook pages are gradually losing their popularity among Facebook users, which may have two more interpretations: Facebook's aggregate appeal as a news source is decreasing to users, or Bangladeshi media's appeal is eroding to Facebook users. These findings challenge the previous results, i.e., Facebook's demand as a news source is increasing with time. We offer four explanations of the decreased popularity of Facebook's news: information overload, exposure to incidental news, users' selective exposure and different aims of using Facebook, and conflict between media agendas and users' interests. Some theoretical and practical significance of the results has been discussed as well.
The purposes of this study are to analyze how the media reflects the source competition between the activist group and the governmental source in the news contents. Media ideology and the conflict phase also were chosen as situational variables for evaluating how those variables could influence the source competition process. To answer the proposed research questions, the study chose the 'screen quota' issue as a research unit and analyzed documents from three sources, media news, the activist group for maintaining screen quota, and the governmental source during six years and three months. The results showed that the government source played a primary definer role in media reporting related to the screen quota issue, compared to the activist group. The governmental source's primary definer role was maintained against the highly contested social issue while the media ideology, to some degree, leveraged the activist group's comparatively unstable primary definer power. The governmental source's primary definer role was escalated as the conflict phase evolved.

This study aims to examine how the relationship with an information source affects people to perceive credibility of online information. We developed a conceptual framework that explained how people perceived information credibility when they were familiar with the information source and/or when the information source seemed credible. We then compared the models in two different contexts, namely, online review and social media sites, to examine differences. We surveyed 136 online social media users with their online shopping experiences. Among our eight hypotheses, three (H6: the personality similarity between an information provider and an information seeker enhances the perceived credibility of the former; H7: the credibility of an information provider produces a much stronger mediating effect in review sites than in social media sites; H8: the familiarity of an information seeker with an information provider produces a stronger mediating effect in social media sites than in review sites) are fully supported and four (H1: the credibility of an information provider has a positive influence on the perceived credibility of the online information; H2: the familiarity of an information seeker with an information provider has a positive influence on the perceived credibility of the online information; H3: the goal similarity between an information provider and an information seeker enhances the perceived familiarity of the latter with the former; H5: the personality similarity between an information provider and an information seeker enhances the perceived familiarity of the latter with the former) are partially supported. The hypothesis of H4: the goal similarity between an information provider and an information seeker enhances the perceived credibility of the former is rejected. The result confirms that credibility of information is strongly mediated by credibility of information source than familiarity with information source in online review sites and vice versa in social media sites.
Stormwater runoff from urban road area as non-point source has a tendency of including lots of pollutants at initial rain period. Recently, there are several cases of having installed treatment facilities for reducing pollution discharge from the impervious cover in urban area to prevent watershed environment from getting worse. The filtration type among non-point source treatment systems has been known as one of the most efficient system for treatment of non-point source pollutants. Therefore, various kinds of filter media such as expanded polypropylene(EPP), granular activated carbon, zeolite, perlite, illite, sand, gravel has been developed. This study was conducted to verify performance and hydraulic characteristics of filter media as measures for non-point source. The experiment was carried out to evaluate applicability and variation of 4 kind of most popular filter media(EPP, GAC, Zeolite, Perlite) in headloss with elapsed time and influent flow rate and to obtain data base that could be used to establish management plan for road runoff treatment. In experiment by tap water, it showed that EPP and perlite those are floatable materials showed stable operating performance and lower headloss than the others.
Erinacine which is produced from Hericium erinaceus mycelia is known as stimulating activity of nerve growth factor(NGF) synthesis. Thus. this work was concentrated on the maximum production of Hericium erinaceus mycelia. Media compositions were studied as the chemical conditions that affected cell growth. The modified media was ditermined from the results, including glucose 20g/L and yeast extract 10g/L.
