도시 안전을 위한 블록체인 기반의 감시카메라 영상 관리 시스템 모델 및 설계 방법 (Block-Surveillance: Blockchain-based Surveillance Camera Video Management System Model and Design Method for City Safety)

  • 이 논문에서는 현대 도시 관리에 필수적인 요소로 자리 잡은 비디오 감시 시스템에 대한 새로운 접근 방식을 제안한다. 블록체인과 IPFS를 활용하여 데이터의 무결성과 프라이버시 보호를 강화하고, 객체 탐지 기술을 통해 이상 행위 탐지 및 영상 자동 저장함으로써 도시 안전과 보안을 향상시킬 수 있다. 이 통합 접근법은 감시 시스템의 효율적인 관리 방법론이 되어 도시 관리자와 시민들에게 더 안전하고 효율적인 감시 환경을 제공할 것이다.

  • 사물인터넷(IoT)은 사람과 사물이 상호 연결되어 서비스를 제공하고 사용이 가능하다. DLNA는 오디오/비디오 등의 미디어 콘텐츠의 상호운용성을 지원하는 표준으로 사물과 연동할 필요가 있다. 본 논문은 서비스 지향 아키텍처 기반의 상호운용성을 제공하는 사물인터넷의 웹서비스 프레임워크에 다양한 기기의 미디어 콘텐츠를 양방향으로 연동하기 위한 양방향 DLNA 어댑터를 제안한다. DLNA 어댑터는 DLNA 기기의 서비스를 가상의 웹서비스로 변환하고 외부의 가상의 웹서비스를 DLNA 서비스로 변환하여 양방향성을 지원한다.

  • 다중산란매질의 광학계수를 측정하기 위하여 광세기의 변화와 위상차이를 동시에 측정하는 주파수 영역 분광장치를 구성하고, 산란과 흡수가 다른 매질 조건하에서 진폭 변조된 광을 입사시킨 후 후방 산란광의 교류 및 위상지연 성분을 heterodyne 검지 방법을 이용하여 측정하였다. 실험을 통하여 산란자와 흡수체의 농도가 증가함에 따라 흡수계수와 수송산란 계수는 선형적으로 증가함을 확인할 수 있었으며, 흡수계수와 수송산란계수를 확산이론을 이용하여 구할 수 있었다. 광원과 검출기의 거리, 변조주파수에 따라 측정 가능한 광학계수의 범위를 분석하였다. 레이저 다이오드를 사용하는 소형화된 이 장치는 생체조직과 같은 다중 산란매질의 비침습적 광학계수 측정에 이용될수 있으리라 기대된다.

Proposing the Model of a Storytelling-based Smart Board Game for Children - Case Study of the Game Development Process for Go! Space Express

  • This paper aims to propose the educational concept and design model of a Smart Board Game appropriate for lower elementary grade students. The Smart Board Game refers to a hybrid, or 'convergent', game format based on the offline format of the conventional board game augmented through the use of smart devices. The substantive aspects of this game format utilize the procedural deduction and problem-solving skills applicable in storytelling methodologies and games, in order to generate and propose contents ideal for the educational environment. The development of the Smart Board Game is conducted through the following stages. First, the study analyzes a number of Smart Board Games currently popular in Korea and abroad, based on identification of the key components and processes of the board game format. The subsequent review of the science curriculum for lower elementary grades aims to determine the aspects conducive for application to Smart Board Games. Lastly, the theoretical framework outlined through the previous stages is used as the basis for the proposal of a detailed model of contents for the smart board game concept.

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of family violence, peer\`s deviant behavior, school environment, and accessibility of violence through a mass media, mediated by school violence, on adolescents 'psychological & behavioral maladjustment. The present study was the primary research of developing program for adolescents'psychological & behavioral adaptation to school violence. On the basis of previous literature, the theoretical model was specified, estimated, and evaluated for adequacy of statistical fat. Subjects of this study consisted of 974 adolescents drawn from middle and high schools in Cheong-ju. The model was supported by the data. Family violence, peer's deviant behavior, school environment, and accessibility of violence through a mass media explained directly the variance of school violence and adolescents'psychological & behavioral maladjustment. The results shows that adolescents'psychological & behavioral maladjustment can be viewed as products of the interaction with environmental factors and school violence. Accessibility of violence through a mass media was strongly related to school violence. Also, school violence was the strongest risk factor in relation to adolescents'behavioral maladjustment while school environment to adolescents'psychological maladjustment. Therefore, prevention program for school violence should consider the psychological & behavioral components within the environmental context.

Factors Affecting in Vitro Activity of LB20304, a New Flu-oroquinolone

  • LB20304 is a novel fluoroquinolone that exhibits a potent broad spectrum antibacterial activity against both gram-positve and gram-negative bacteria. The MICs (Minimal Inhibitory Concentration) of LB20304 were determined against both gram-positve and gram-negative bacteria under various conditions including several media, pHs, and inoculum concentrations. The in vitro activity of LB20304 was not significantly affected by the changes in testing conditions such as components of media and inoculum concentrations, but it was slightly reduced by acid condition. The MICs and MBCs (Minimal Bactericidal Concentration) of LB20304 against Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli and Pseudomonas aeruginosa were hardly affected by the presence of 50 % human serum, mouse serum, guinea pig serum or horse serum, and the MBCs were equal to or at most four-times higher than the MiCs. The activities of LB20304 were decreased by the presence of high concentraion of $Mg^{++}$ or human urine (pH, 5.5) in the test media. The frequencies of mutants resistant to LB20304 were similar to or lower than those found in ciprofloxacin and sparfloxacin.

Stochastic Mixture Modeling of Driving Behavior During Car Following

  • This paper presents a stochastic driver behavior modeling framework which takes into account both individual and general driving characteristics as one aggregate model. Patterns of individual driving styles are modeled using a Dirichlet process mixture model, as a non-parametric Bayesian approach which automatically selects the optimal number of model components to fit sparse observations of each particular driver's behavior. In addition, general or background driving patterns are also captured with a Gaussian mixture model using a reasonably large amount of development data from several drivers. By combining both probability distributions, the aggregate driver-dependent model can better emphasize driving characteristics of each particular driver, while also backing off to exploit general driving behavior in cases of unseen/unmatched parameter spaces from individual training observations. The proposed driver behavior model was employed to anticipate pedal operation behavior during car-following maneuvers involving several drivers on the road. The experimental results showed advantages of the combined model over the model adaptation approach.

  • 회화를 기점으로 영화, 만화, 게임을 아울러 관객의 시선을 묶는 행위의 주축을 담당하는 것은 프레임이다. 프레임에 대해 안다는 것은 프레임을 읽을 수 있게 되는 것이며, 사용할 수 있게 되는 것이다. 따라서 본 논문은 디지털 게임의 프레임, 그 중에서도 일차 프레임의 한정된 구성을 보완하는 다중 프레임에 관해 다룬다. 본 논문에서는 게임의 기본 구성인 구조적 프레임, 플레이어 행위의 출력인 가변적 프레임, 기존 시각 매체 특성을 나타내는 표면적 프레임으로 다중 프레임을 분류한다. 이를 통해 디지털 게임 설계 장치로서의 다중 프레임의 양상을 살펴본다. 본 논문은 향후 게임의 다중 프레임 활용 가능성을 도출하고 다중 프레임 분석의 기제를 제공했다는 데서 유의미하다.

Mycosporine-like Amino Acids as Natural Scavengers of Singlet Oxygen in Marine Organisms: Photoprotection of Biological Systems

  • This report concerns a putative role of mycosporine-like amino acids (MAA) as natural scavengers of singlet oxygen ($^1$O$_2$) in marine organisms. MAA prepared from the ascidian Lissoclinum patella were found to protect biological systems against detrimental effects of the type II photosensitization in vitro. L. patella MAA were resolved into five components, and the relative $^1$0$_2$ quenching efficiencies were measured for three major components in aqueous media. It turned out that they were all effective in scavenging $^1$0$_2$, to different degrees albeit. The results suggest that physiological relevance of MAA in marine organisms may be found in a 'built-in' defense against photooxidative effects of sunlight.

  • Falls are the main cause of serious injuries and accidental deaths in people over the age of 65. Due to widespread adoption of smartphones, there has been a growing interest in the use of smartphones for detecting human behavior and activities. Modern smartphones are equipped with a wide variety of sensors such as an accelerometer, a gyroscope, camera, GPS, digital compass and microphone. In this paper, we introduce a new method that determines the fall direction of human subjects by analyzing the three axis components of acceleration vector.
