미디어역량 모델개발을 위한 기초 연구 (Basic Study for Developing Media Competency Model)

  • 이 연구의 목적은 생애 전 영역에서 활용가능한 문화역량모델 개발을 논의하고 학교교육, 평생교육, 기업교육 분야에서 적용할 수 있는 미디어 분야의 문화역량모델을 개발하는데 있었다. 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위해 문헌고찰 및 미디어 분야의 고성과자를 대상으로 한 패널 워크숍, 전문가 검증 등을 실시하여 문화역량을 구명하고, 이를 바탕으로 미디어 분야의 문화역량모델을 개발하였다. 그 결과 미디어 분야에서 달성해야할 핵심성과를 도출하였는데, 이는 업무의 효율성 증대, 창의적 기획 가능, 미디어 환경 변화, 사회문화에 대한 이해 및 참여 증대, 관계능력 향상, 자기성찰의 기회 증대, 자기만족과 같다. 이러한 핵심성과를 달성하는데 요구되는 문화역량은 62개가 구명되었으며, 각 역량에 대한 역량정의와 행동지표를 도출하여 최종적인 미디어 분야의 문화역량모델을 제시하였다.

유아교사의 ICT 수업매체 역량 강화를 위한 교육과정 구성 방안 (The Composition of Curriculum to Improve ICT Instructional Media Competency of Early Childhood Teacher)

  • 본 연구는 유아교사의 ICT 수업매체 활용 능력을 양성하기 위해 ICT 중심 교사 교육과정 구성안을 제안하는데 있다. 이를 위해 유아교사들의 교사 역량에 대한 중요도와 현재 역량 수준을 조사하고 ICT 수업매체 역량 교육의 필요성을 확인한 후, ICT 중심 교사 교육과정 내용 구성안을 설계하였다. 207명의 유아교사를 대상으로 교사역량에 대한 설문조사를 실시한 결과 ICT 수업매체 역량에 대한 교육 필요도가 가장 높게 나타났다. 또한, ICT 수업매체 역량에 대한 하위 지표들의 분석결과를 기초로 ICT 중심 교사 교육과정을 ICT 수업매체 소양교육과 ICT 수업매체 활용교육으로 분류하였다. 각 영역은 교사의 역량수준에 따라 인식, 적용, 확산의 3수준으로 위계화 되며 수준별 설정된 목표에 근거하여 교육내용을 제안하였다. 연구에서는 ICT 수업매체와 관련한 교사 전문성 개발을 위해 ICT 활용 교육정책 이해, ICT 교육과정의 목표와 평가 이해로 구성된 ICT 소양교육과 교수학습방법 활용, 디지털 기술의 적용, ICT 학습 환경 구성 및 관리를 포함한 ICT 활용교육으로 구성하여 ICT 중심 교사 교육과정 안을 제안하였다.

온라인 콘텐츠를 활용한 미술관 교육 프로그램 사례 분석 -젠킨스의 뉴미디어리터러시로- (Case analysis of educational program of museum using online contents -Focusing on Jenkin's new media literacy-)

  • 본 연구는 온라인 콘텐츠를 활용한 미술관 교육 프로그램의 한계점을 보완하기 위해 온라인 미술관 교육 사례들을 젠킨스의 뉴미디어리터러시 핵심 역량을 토대로 분석하였다. 젠킨스가 제시한 체계적인 미디어 교육의 핵심 역량은 미디어를 활용하여 콘텐츠를 개발해야하는 온라인 미술관의 향후 방향성에 대한 기준점이 될 수 있다. 사례 분석을 위해 국내 미술관으로는 국립현대미술관, 국립중앙박물관, 사비나 미술관, 보름산미술관을 선택했고 국외 미술관으로는 클리블랜드미술관, 메트로폴리탄미술관, 게티미술관, 테이트모던미술관을 선택했다. 젠킨스의 뉴미디어리터러시 핵심 역량에 따라 분석한 결과로 국외 미술관의 경우에는 화상회의, 사이트 페이지 하단의 댓글 달기 등 상호 소통을 위한 콘텐츠를 구성하고 있었지만 국내 온라인 미술관은 이러한 요소가 부족하였기 때문에 커뮤니케이션 콘텐츠를 구성하여 전용, 네트워킹, 협상력, 분산된 인지, 집단지성의 역량을 향상시켜야 할 필요가 있었다.

공공부문 보건의료조직의 만성질환 예방사업에서 요구하는 필요능력과 보건교육사의 직무 강화 방안 (Enhancement for competencies of health education specialists to prevent chronic diseases in public health organizations)

  • Objectives: This study performed to enhance the competency of health education specialist on population-based program to prevent chronic disease in public health organizations. In addition, it will provide the basic data to enhance specialized competency for health education specialist. Method: The current operating strategy and demanded competency related to chronic disease programs were analyzed by reviewing the Korean Health Plan 2020, the guideline of integrated health promotion programs, and the job description of health education specialist. Results: Preventive programs for chronic disease provide with healthy lifestyle programs in integrated health promotion service. First, health education specialist should learn to professional knowledge on health risk factor and chronic disease. Second, they should cultivate the integrated competency to manage operations on obesity, hypertension, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and cancer prevention programs. Third, they get strengthened the-job training to implement health education, public relations, campaigns, media advocacy, and utilization of multi-media. Conclusion: It should implement the preventive programs for chronic disease in various health promotion services through coordination with multiple sectors. To identify of the job in preventive program for that, it would be required empowerment of health education specialists on disease prevention science and practical life skill.

이공계 대학생의 커뮤니케이션 역량 분석 및 교육콘텐츠 개발 방안 연구 (A Study on Communication Competency Analysis and Development Plan of Educational Content for Engineering Undergraduates)

  • 본 연구는 이공계 대학생들의 커뮤니케이션 역량을 범주화하여 분석하고 그 결과를 토대로 향후 이공계 대학생의 커뮤니케이션 역량 향상을 위한 교육 콘텐츠 개발 방안을 제시하는데 목적이 있다. 이 연구에서 이공계 대학생의 커뮤니케이션 역량은 비판적 사고력, 과학적 소통력, 미디어리터러시 세 영역으로 범주화 하였다. 또한 커뮤니케이션 역량을 향상시키기 위한 수단으로써 이공계 글쓰기에 대한 경험과 인식을 조사하였다. 연구결과, 이공계 대학생의 커뮤니케이션 역량은 전반적으로 향상될 필요가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 실습중심의 비판적 사고력을 향상시킬 수 있는 글쓰기 프로그램에 대한 요구도가 높게 나타났다. 교육 콘텐츠로는 플립러닝 등 스마트교육기반 프로그램, E-커뮤니티, 액션러닝 기반 문제해결력 향상 프로그램, 협동학습 프로그램, 성찰 저널 및 포트폴리오, 협업형 글쓰기 프로그램 등을 제안하였다. 이 연구의 결과는 이공계 학생을 대상으로 한 커뮤니케이션 역량중심 교육과정 설계와 현장에서의 구체적인 적용과 실천 지침을 제공하는데 기초자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

A Study on Middle School Students' Smart Media Literacy and Learning in a Context of Online Inquiry-based Mathematics and Science Learning

  • This study was designed to investigate the relationship between middle school students' smart media competency and online learning outcomes. The context of this study was on online inquiry-based mathematics and science learning environment, and four-hundred and fifty-five (455) 7th to 9th grade students in Korea participated in this research. To assess students' smart device competency, Smart Media Literacy Quotient (SMLQ) which consisted of 18 items regarding the operation ability of smart media and its application (14 items) and positive beliefs of smart media (4 items) was administered to each student. The findings of this study first showed that students' smart media literacy varied according to their characteristics such as gender, grade, class (subject), and socio-economic status. Female students' scores were higher in overall smart media literacy operation and learning ability of smart media than male students. 7th grade middle school students represented lower smart media literacy scores, compared to 8th and 9th graders. Also, minority students were significantly lower in smart media literacy, operation and learning ability of smart media, and positive belief of smart media than the non-minority students. Second, overall smart media literacy and operation and learning ability of smart media varied among high, medium, and low score achievers in inquiry tasks. Low scored students in inquiry tasks were significantly lower in overall smart media literacy and operation and learning ability of smart media than medium scored students. Lastly, smart media literacy also varied by students' dropout/completion. Students who dropped out reported significantly lower scores in overall smart media literacy, operation and learning ability of smart media, and positive belief of smart media.

초등학생 학부모의 식습관 및 식생활능력 평가 (An Evaluation of Dietary Habits and Dietary Life Competency of Elementary School Parents)

  • The purpose of this study was to evaluate the current status of dietary habits and dietary life competency of elementary school parents, who are influential to the dietary life of their children and family. A survey was conducted with 362 elementary school parents living in Seoul and Gyeonggi province by using a self-administered questionnaire consisting of 53 questions on dietary habits, dietary life competency, home cooking frequency, and dietary education needs. The results were as follows: The scores of dietary habits and dietary life competency were 76.35 and 74.51 out of 100, respectively, suggesting a need for improvement. Parents with higher monthly income, demonstrated higher scores of both dietary habits and dietary life competency (p<0.001). As expected, female parents showed higher scores of dietary life competency than male parents (p<0.01). there was also a close relationship between the scores of dietary habits and dietary life competency (r=0.58). The parents with high scores for dietary habits and dietary life competency showed a significantly higher frequency of home cooking (p<0.001) compared to medium- or low-scored parents. Most parents answered that dietary education need to be started earlier, and that their main source of dietary life information was mass media. They also showed a preference for real experience and practice for dietary education. The above results showed that there is a close relationship between dietary habits and dietary life competency, and suggest that continuous education is necessary to improve the dietary habits and dietary life competency of elementary school parents. Because monthly income appeared to be the most influential socioeconomic factor for the parents' dietary habits and dietary life competency, continuous efforts on dietary education are necessary to reduce the score gaps in these categories.

치위생(학)과 학생의 감성지능과 문화 역량과의 관련성 (The relationship between emotional intelligence and cultural competency of dental hygiene students)

  • Objectives: The study was a cross-sectional research to examine dental hygiene students' multi-cultural experiences, emotional intelligence and cultural competency and to understand the correlations among them. Methods: The study was conducted from September $1^{st}$ to October $31^{st}$ 2016, based on the survey of 449 students in the department of dental hygiene at 7 Universities. The questionnaire consisted of 57 questions including general characteristics (n=7), multi-cultural experiences (n=7), emotional intelligence (n=16) and cultural competency (n=27). Results: Each score of students' emotional intelligence and cultural competency is 3.43 and 3.01 respectively in 5-point scale. An analysis of correlations between emotional intelligence and cultural competency shows that the higher the emotional intelligence, the higher the cultural competency (r=0.342). The factors affecting the cultural competency include use of emotions (${\beta}=0.327$, p<0.001), control of emotions (${\beta}=0.254$, p=0.001), frequency of multi-cultural media (${\beta}=0.221$, p<0.001) and experience of multi-cultural class (${\beta}=0.221$, p=0.002). The modified explanatory power in this model is 28.2% (F=10.856, p<0.001). Conclusions: There was a positive correlation between emotional intelligence and cultural competency, and the contacts with multi-culture and experience of class are identified as the affecting factors. Dental hygiene students should acquire theoretical experiences regarding the multi-culture through curriculum or continuous educations and it is necessary to promote such educations in order to develop and apply the programs for the enhancement of emotional intelligence.

The Meaningful Relationship between Employee Reading Habits and Innovation Competency

  • Purpose: Strategic management research and findings are usually not focused on dealing with concrete instruments for measuring individual competencies. The presence of traditional human resources management instruments, which include the aspects of job analysis, selection training, and even development, has been used frequently for many years in organizations. This study aims to investigate the relationship between employee reading habits and their innovativeness. Research design, data and methodology: The research methodology applied in this case is qualitative research methods. It is a method that involves the collection of data from non-numerical formats. The technique helped in understanding the relationship that exists between the reading habits of the employees and the competencies of innovation. Results: The present researchers figured out the meaningful connection between the independent variable (Reading Habit and dependent variable (Innovative Competency), explaining 'The Reason Why Employees Should Read More Books' and 'How Organizations Promote the Reading Habits of Employees'. Conclusions: It is clear that with reading habits among employees, innovation is easily achieved since these employees know their goals, how to achieve these objectives and overcome any challenge that might hinder innovation. Organizational management should work towards fostering positive reading cultures among employees in organizations.

汉语作为二语的成人分级阅读新媒体平台建设及应用初探

  • Graded reading is to match reading competency of readers with difficulty levels of text, based on the study of readability. This article discusses how to apply new media to develop Chinese graded reading materials which are more interesting, scientific and practical than traditional paper materials. The graded materials on the new media platform can be used for Chinese second language learners to self-study, and also for instructors to support reading and writing instruction in class or after class.
