한외여과를 이용한 폐 CMP Slurry의 분리에서 압력의 영향 (Pressure Effect on Ultrafiltration of Used CMP Slurry)

  • CMP (Chemical mechanical polishing) is inevitable process to overcome $0.2{\mu}m$ wire thickness in semiconductor industry. In this study, effect of pressure to separate used CMP slurry into solid and liquid for recycle and reuse by ultrafiltration was investigated. Also, water quality after the ultrafiltration such as turbidity and TDS was evaluated. The material of membrane used in the study was PVDF. The used CMP contained 0.5% of solid content and then concentrated up to 18% by weight. The used CMP can not be concentrated higher than 18% because of viscosity and abrasion of pump. The tested feed pressures were 22.1, 29.4 and 36.8 psi. The results have shown that operating at 36.8 psi has advantages on operation time and total flux. The specific flux showed some variation at 1 to 15 of concentration factor but no difference after 15 of concentration factor. Mass balance of solid at initial stage of the operation showed some unbalance because of deposition of solid on the membrane, which was main reason to reduce flux. Turbidity was very stable at lower than 0.2NTU for 22.1 and 36.8 psi of feed pressure.

비이온 폴리올을 이용한 Garment 코팅용 수분산 폴리우레탄의 합성 및 물성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Synthesis and Properties of Water-Dispersion Polyurethane for Garment Coating Using Nonionic Polyol)

  • Garment skin leather 표면 코팅에 사용된 폴리우레탄 수지는 polyethylene glycole(PEG)의 함유를 [NCO]/[OH] mole % 비로 달리하면서 합성하였으며, 합성된 폴리우레탄 수지의 기계적 특성은 SEM, FT-IR, UTM 등을 이용하여 측정하였다. 비이온성을 띄고 있는 PEG(poly ethylene glycol)의 [NCO]/[OH] mole % 비가 증가함에 따라 내굴곡성(건식, 습식)의 변화는 없었으며, 내마모도, 인장강도수치가 낮아짐을 알 수 있었다. 반대로 연신율 물성은 증가함을 알 수 있었다. 점도 변화 측정 결과에는 PEG의 [NCO]/[OH] mole % 증가에 따라 점도가 묽어짐을 알 수 있었다.

Effect of porosity on frost resistance of Portland cement pervious concrete

  • Portland cement pervious concrete (PCPC) is an effective pavement material to solve or reduce the urban waterlogging problems. The Mechanical properties, the permeability, the abrasion resistance and the frost resistance of PCPC without fine aggregate were investigated. The increase of porosity was achieved by fixing the dosage of coarse aggregate and reducing the amount of cement paste. The results show that the compressive strength and the flexural strength of PCPC decrease with the increase of porosity. The permeability coefficient and the wear loss of PCPC increase with the increase of the porosity. The compressive strength and the flexural strength of PCPC subjected to 25 freeze-thaw cycles are reduced by 13.7%-17.8% and 10.6%-18.3%, respectively. For PCPC subjected to the same freeze-thaw cycles, the mass loss firstly increases and then decreases with the increase of the porosity. The relative dynamic modulus elasticity decreases with the increase of freeze-thaw cycles. And the lower the PCPC porosity is, the more obvious the dynamic modulus elasticity decreases.

  • Existence of physical moving parts (ex. check valve) produces several problems (mechanical abrasion, deterioration of reliability, limited temperature performances etc.) in driving pumps. To overcome such problems, we proposed a valveless piezoelectric micro-pump which has new type volume transferring mechanism. The proposed micro-pump has a double faced disk type vibrator that can generate peristaltic motion formed by traveling wave in each surface of a disk. This type of micro-pump is able to apply to a fluid supply system that provides two different kinds of fluid simultaneously. In this paper, we propose a simple and novel design of piezoelectric micro-pump that is peristaltically by piezoelectric actuators and allows the removal of the need for valves of other physically moving parts. The finite elements analysis on the proposed pump model was carried out to verify its operation principle using the commercial analysis software.

폐비닐 골재의 기본특성에 관한 연구 (An Experimental Study on the Waste Polyethylene Aggregate for Construction Materials)

  • 농촌 비닐하우스 등에서 발생하는 폐비닐을 재활용하기 위한 방법의 하나로 폐비닐을 이용하여 골재를 만들었다. 이 골재에 대하여 용출시험, 비중시험, 다짐시험, LA마모시험, 대형전단시험, 투수시험 등 물리적, 역학적 시험을 실시하였다. 또한 폐비닐골재에 대한 열전도시험, 부동수분시험, 동상시험을 실시하였으며, 현장에서 폐비닐골재와 자갈을 도로 동상방지층에 포설한 후 두 해 겨울철에 걸쳐 각각의 온도분포를 측정하여 그 결과를 비교하였다.

  • Air-operated valve(AOV) is one of principal valves that are using to control fluid flow in nuclear power plants. AOV is suffered from damage and malfunction by the abrasion, corrosion and vibration of valve parts under the long time operation. This mechanical trouble and malfunction of valve is critical for the safety of power plant. So a periodic diagnosis for safety of power plants is inevitable to guarantee the safety of the power plant. But depending on the type of the actuator and valve body, various types of AOV exist. In this study, It is developed the diagnostic system that users of power plants are easy to handle in this paper.

인공어초 개발을 위한 재생골재 콘크리트의 실험적 연구 (An Experimental Study on Recycled Aggregate Concrete for Artificial Fishing Reefs)

  • The mechanical characteristics of newly recycled aggregate concrete on the basis of the proposed mix design model have been studied to develop the precast artificial fishing reefs. In the first task, the experimental test for the recycled aggregates taken from Jeju Island has been carried out to verify the material properties in terms of specific gravity, percentage of solids, absorption and abrasion of coarse aggregates. In the second task, the experimental parameters of newly recycled aggregate concrete are investigated to meet with the requirements of guidelines with respect to slump, unit weight, pH, ultrasonic velocity, void ratio, and compressive strength which are made of sea-shore sand ad slag cement. The natural aggregate and polypropylene fiber are added to newly recycled aggregate concrete to improve the compressive strength and quality. The optimal mix proportions for compressive strength are W/C=30%, S/a=15%, NA/G=50% in porous concrete case, W/C=40%, S/a=45% in plain concrete case, and W/C=40%, S/a-45%, PF=1.0kg/㎥ in fiber reinforced concrete case.

졸-겔법에 의한 안경렌즈의 열경화형 유-무기 하이브리드 코팅 (Thermally Curable Organic-inorganic Hybrid Coatings on Ophthalmic Lenses by the Sol-Gel Method)

  • 코팅은 플라스틱의 표면의 물성과 렌즈의 광학적 성능을 높이기 위해 필요하다. Allyl diglycol carbonate계열 렌즈의 표면의 물성과 광학적 성능을 개선하기 위하여 3-glycidoxypropyltrimethoxysilane(GPTS), methyltrimethoxysilane(MTMS) 및 tetraethyl orthosilicate(TEOS)의 몰 비를 변화시켜 유-무기 하이브리드 재료로 사용하였다. Sol-gel 공정에 의한 flow코팅하여, $140^{\circ}C$에서 4시간 경화하였다. 코팅 렌즈는 투과율, 부착력, 연필경도, 내마모성, 내온수성 및 내약품성을 평가하였고 GPTS, MTMS 및 TEOS의 몰 비가 각각 1:1:2일 때 가장 우수한 것으로 나타났다.

  • Ultrasonic waves are used in various applications in multiple devices, sensors, and high-power machinery, such as processing machines, welders, and cleaners, because the acoustic vibration frequencies are above the human audible frequency range. In ultrasonic machining, electrical energy at a high frequency of 20 kHz or more is converted into mechanical vibration by a vibrator and an amplifier. This technique allows instantaneous separation between a tool and a workpiece during machining, machining by pulse impulse force at the time of re-contact and minimizes the minute elastic deformations of the workpiece and machine tools due to the cutting effect. The Al7075 alloy used in this study is a typical aluminum alloy with superior strength that is mainly used in aircrafts, automobiles, and sporting goods. To investigate the optimal conditions for machining aluminum alloy using ultrasonic vibration, the present experiment utilized the Taguchi orthogonal array method, and the coefficient of friction was analyzed using the characteristics of the Taguchi technique. In ultrasonic friction and abrasion tests, the changes in the friction coefficient were measured in the absence of ultrasonic vibrations and at 28 kHz and 40 kHz. As a result, the most considerable influence on the friction coefficient was found to be the normal load, and the frequency of ultrasonic vibrations increases, the coefficient of friction increases. It was thus confirmed that the amount of wear increases when ultrasonic vibration is applied.

  • Results : 1. The most important concept of IMS is chronic pain illness that may develop into hypersensitivity of the nerves, i.e., neuropathy. 2. Muscle shortening may be triggered by stress, including emotional, physical, external, and internal factors. 3. Muscle shortening increases mechanical tension on the muscles as well as inducing abrasion of the tissues by stretching ligament, tendon, cartilage, bone, and etc. 4. Pain from neuropathy is normally manifested on musculoskeletal system and spasm or shortening play as the central axis of this pain. 5. Neuropathy often appears at the nerve root level and the most important decisive factor of radiculopathy is muscle shortening. 6. Spondylosis is the most common cause of radiculopathy. 7. The most significant treatment principle of IMS is to relieve muscle shortening and remove stimulating determinant from the vertebrae. 8. Dry needling is quite effective for treating various pain caused by muscle shortening.
