Load-ratio 법에 의한 SA508C-3와 알루미늄 합금의 탄소성 파괴저항 곡선평가 (Evaluation on elastic-plastic fracture resistance curve of SA508C-3 and aluminum alloy steels by load-ratio method)

  • A method is proposed to evaluate the elastic-plastic fracture resistance curve only with load displacement records without the crack length measurement in CT specimen. This method is based on the idea that the effect of plastic deformation and the crack growth can be measured only by using a load-displacement record. If we know the reference-load curve representing the hardening of specimen, then the crack extension can be calculated by the elastic compliance determined from the load ratio. The results of this proposed method were compared to those of the elastic-plastic fracture resistance curve for the ASTM standard unloading compliance method. The experimental results for two kinds of ductile materials showed that the proposed method well simulates the material J-R curves. This method is currently applied for CT specimens. but it can be extended to the other specimen geometries.

성토지반에 타입된 H 말뚝의 약축방향에 대한 횡방향 장기지지거동 (Lateral long term behavior for web direction of Driven H-Piles in Embankment)

  • To find a lateral long term behavior of driven H-piles in embankment, inclinometer is installed at pile and measurement is done during a year. When behavior of measured slope angles is in accord with behavior of nonlinear p-y curves(Reese, Murchison and O'Neil, Matlock's p-y analysis), maximum displacement of pile head, maximum stress and maximum bending moment of pile obtained from the numerical analysis are shown. As results, maximum lateral displacement at pile head, maximum stress and maximum bending moment of pile are shown linear behavior, And maximum lateral load, maximum lateral displacement, and maximum bending moment at pile obtained from the numerical analysis are 8∼12.4tonf, 9∼10.1㎜, and 10.39∼12.67tonf-m per pile according to the curves, respectively.

  • The Observational Method proposed by Terzaghi can be applied for the safe and economic construction projects where the exact prediction of the behavior of the structures is difficult as in the underground excavation. The method consists of measuring lateral displacement, ground settlement and axial force of supports in the earlier stage of the construction and back analysis technique to find the best fit design parameters such as earth pressure coefficient, subgrade reaction etc, which will minimize the gap between calculated displacement and measured displacement. With the results, more reliable prediction of the later stage can be obtained. In this study, back analysis programs using the Direct Method, based on the Hill Climbing Method were made and evaluated, and to overcome the limits of the method, Genetic Algorithm(GA) was applied and tested for the actual construction cases.

  • The azobenzene dendrimer is one of the dendrimeric macromolecules that include the azo-group exhibiting a photochromic character. Due to the presence of the charge transfer element of the azo-group and its rod-shaped structure, these compounds are expected to have potential interest in electronics and photoelectronics, especially in nonlinear optics. In the present paper, we give pressure stimulation to organic thin films and detect the induced displacement current. Functional photoisometrization organic molecular the photo-stimulus to organic monomolecular L films and LB films of dendrimer and SASH were performed. The SASH organic monolayer in case of pressure stimulus occurred that positive course but in case of the photo-stimulus compared positive and negative. It is assumed that generation forms of displacement current were measured when photo-stimulus for impression.

  • We propose a new displacement measurement method using a phase modulation homodyne interferometer and a tunable laser diode as a light source to determine an arbitrary length with a resolution in the order of 10 pm. In the proposed instrument, the displacement of a movable mirror in the interferometer can be converted to a frequency shift of the tunable laser diode. We discuss the principles of the proposed method, the instrumentation, and the experimental results, and compare the proposed method with two commercial displacement sensors. The commercial sensors used are a heterodyne interferometer, the interpolation error of which is also measured, and a capacitive sensor.

계측 및 수치해석에 의한 연약지반의 측방유동 연구 (Study on Lateral Flow of Soft soils by Field Measurement and Numerical Analysis)

  • 본 연구에서는 잔교구조물이 축조된 연약지반에 있어서, 연약지반의 측방유동을 계측하였다. 계측결과는 수치해석결과와 함께 비교, 분석되었다. 분석결과, 연약지반의 수평변위는 침하보다는 성토에 의한 측방유동에 큰 영향을 받는 것으로 나타났으며, 매립 및 선행하중재하 단계에서 급격히 발생하였다. 수치해석결과와 계측결과 모두 모래다짐말뚝 치환부와 사석의 경계 이상에서 비교적 균등하게 최대수평변위가 발생하는 등 유사한 변위발생 양상을 보여 주었으며, 변위량은 수치해석결과가 계측치보다 큰 값을 보였다.

광섬유 EFPI 센서를 이용한 나노 이송장치의 개발 (Development of nano-positioner using fiber optic EFPI sensor)

  • Precision displacement of less than a few nm resolution was measured in real-time using fiber optic EFPI sensor. The novel method for real-time processing of analyzing EFPI output signal was developed and verified. Linearity in the mean values of interferometric light intensity among adjacent fringes was shown and verified the sinusoidal approximation algorithm that estimates past and coming fringe values. Real-time signal processing program was developed and the intensity signal of the EFPI sensor was transformed to the phase shift with this program. The resolution below $0.36{\sim}8.6$ nm in the displacement range of $0{\sim}300{\mu}m$ was obtained. The nano-positioner with a piezoelectric actuator and the EFPI sensor system was designed and tested. The positioner successfully reached to the desired destination within 1 nm accuracy.

측방유동 판정기준의 적용성 연구 (Study on Application of Criteria of Lateral Flow in Soft Soils)

  • 본 연구에서는 배면성토에 의하여 발생하는 연약지반의 측방유동 판정기준을 평가하고 분석하였다. 이를 위하여 군장신항만 잔교구조물 현장의 측방유동을 계측하였으며, 계측결과와 판정기준을 비교, 분석하였다. 연구결과, 비배수강도로 표현되는 측방유동 한계하중, 일본 도로공단 측방이동지수, 일본 건설성 토목연구소 측방이동판정수. 한국 도로공사 수정 I 지수 등이 각 기준값보다 작은 값에서 측방유동이 발생하였다.

  • On this paper, unimorph type piezoelectric vibrator made by attaching ceramic plates on rectangular elastic body, to find the basic characteristic of the actuators. In experiment, elastic body's displacement and resonance frequency were measured according to changes of ceramic's length and elastic body's length. Also, temperature changes were observed according to time. The displacement and resonance frequency were increased when the ceramic's length were increased. When elastic body's length was increased, the displacement was increased. Also, the temperature was increased according to time, but at some time it was saturated and the temperature was not increased any more.
