We study divisibilities of elements in the q-commuting matrix C(q). We first make a coefficient matrix Ĉ of C(q) which is independent of q, study divisibilities over Ĉ and then retrieve our findings to C(q). Finally we partition the C(q) into 2 × 2 block matrices.
The differentiation of nail matrix and fine structure of matrix cells were studied with light and electron microscope using specimens from nails of thumb finger in Korean fetuses 14 to 24 weeks old. Fetal nail matrix consisted of two horizontal layers, thicker ventral and thinner dorsal matrices, originating from invagination of epidermis in proximal nail field. Matrix being generally thicker in its distal region than the apex became gradually thickened with increase of the fetal age. Each matrix consisted of single layer of basal cells and multiple layers of squamous cells which are arranged close to and parallel to the central axis of the nail mairix. The process of keratinization of fetal nail matrix was noted to be occured concurrently in the ventral and dorsal matrices along the central axis of matrix toward distal and dorsal direction. Squamous cells became matured with accumulation of tonofilaments, increase of keratohyalin granules, discharge of membrane coating granules, and narrowing of intercellular spaces, thickening of plasma membrane and finally being transformed into horny cells of nail plate. Horny cells of nail plate filled with fibrous elements in the electron dense amorphous substance. These findings of keratinization process of fetal nail matrix appeared to be similar to those of keratinization in epidermis and inner root sheath of the hair. In the nail matrix, however, corresponding region to the keratogenous zone of growing hair follicle was not observed. Vacuolated squamous cells of nail matrix seen on light microscopy was considered to be artefactual product, but squamous cells with condensed small nuclei rarely found adjacent nail plate was considered to be one of the squamous cells with unknown function. Proximal end of nail plate was observed on dorsal surface of nail field distal to the proximal nail fold at 14 and 16 weeks old human embryos. Proximal prolongation of the proximal end of nail plate was occured with advancing fetal age and afterward 21 weeks nail plate invaded into nail matrix. Melanin granule containing cells and Merkel cells were present only on the basal layer of dorsal nail matirx.
Sex hormones are important metabolites in vertebrates' development and reproduction. For rapid screening sex hormones, matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionization (MALDI) mass spectrometry (MS) is one of the promising analytical platforms, but MALDI MS faces many challenges in detecting steroids such as low ionization efficiency and matrix background interference. One potential strategy to overcome matrix interference in the low m/z region is using a cyclodextrin (CD)-supported matrix for steroid analysis since CD-supported matrixes are known to effectively suppress matrix-related ion signals. In this study, we aimed to find the optimal CD-supported matrix for the analysis of the nonderivatized sex steroids. Our results showed that the ${\alpha}CD$-supported 2,5-dihydroxybenzoic acid (DHB) matrix efficiently ionized all three major classes of sex hormones, estrogens, androgens, and progestagens, with low or no matrix background and also with high sensitivity. In addition, the ${\alpha}CD$-supported DHB matrix mainly generated molecular ions or protonated ions of sex hormones, and this enabled us to obtain information-rich tandem mass spectra which potentially lead to unambiguous identification of steroid species from complex metabolite mixtures.
Isroaniso matrix precursor synthesized from commercially available petroleum pitch was stabilized in air. The influence of oxygen mass gain during stabilization on the yield of matrix precursor was studied. Additionally, the influence of pressure on the yield of the stabilized matrix precursor in a real system was studied. The fourier transform infrared spectrometry (FTIR), thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), yield, yield rate, and yield impact were used to check the effect of stabilization and pressure on the yield of the matrix precursor and the end properties of the composite thereafter. The results showed that the yield increased with stabilization duration up to 20 h whereas it decreased for stabilization duration beyond 20 h. Further results showed that the stabilized matrix precursor for a duration of 5 h could withstand almost two-fold greater hot-pressing pressure without resulting in exudation as compared to that of a 1 h stabilized matrix precursor. The enhanced hot-pressing pressure significantly improved the yield of the matrix precursor. As a consequence, the densification and mechanical properties were increased significantly. Further, the matrix precursor stabilized for a duration of 20 h or more failed to provide proper and uniform binding of the reinforcement.

Fully homomorphic encryption allows a third-party to perform arbitrary computation over encrypted data and is especially suitable for secure outsourced computation. This paper investigates secure outsourced computation of multiple matrix multiplication based on fully homomorphic encryption. Our work significantly improves the latest Mishra et al.'s work. We improve Mishra et al.'s matrix encoding method by introducing a column-order matrix encoding method which requires smaller parameter. This enables us to develop a binary multiplication method for multiple matrix multiplication, which multiplies pairwise two adjacent matrices in the tree structure instead of Mishra et al.'s sequential matrix multiplication from left to right. The binary multiplication method results in a logarithmic-depth circuit, thus is much more efficient than the sequential matrix multiplication method with linear-depth circuit. Experimental results show that for the product of ten 32×32 (64×64) square matrices our method takes only several thousand seconds while Mishra et al.'s method will take about tens of thousands of years which is astonishingly impractical. In addition, we further generalize our result from square matrix to non-square matrix. Experimental results show that the binary multiplication method and the classical dynamic programming method have a similar performance for ten non-square matrices multiplication.
This research was carried out to investigate the effect of microscopic silica matrix coagulation on heavy metals and anion removal in mining wastewater. pH and alkalinity played an important role to coagulate heavy metals such as Al, and Fe and an anion such as ${SO_4}^{2-}$ with silica matrix as well as NaOH. However, the efficiency to form coagulates was much greater in silica matrix-treated wastewater than NaOH-treated one. Fe in wastewater formed coagulation with both silica matrix and NaOH treatments resulting in lowering Fe content in wastewater at above pH 9. For Al removal in wastewater, silica matrix-treated wastewater at above pH 12.3 formed stable coagulate with Al, while NaOH-treated one did not. Alkalinities of 89 and 220 mg/L were required to stabilize silica matrix treated coagulate with Fe and Al, respectively. Reaction time of ten minute was required to provide enough reaction for coagulation between heavy metals and silica matrix. Heavy metals and anion leachates were much lower in coagulate with silica matrix than that with NaOH, which indicates that silica matrix could be used to remove heavy metals efficiently.
