조습제 적용 박물관 전시케이스의 동적 습도조절 특성 해석 (Analysis of Dynamic Humidity Control Characteristics of Museum Showcase with Adsorption Material)

  • This study was undertaken to judge the quality of air-tightened exhibition cases and to predict the dynamic variation of the relative humidity in the showcase. We performed a lot of experiments for the a few conditions and we numerically calculated the air change rate and the relative humidity in the showcase with the Artsorb under the same conditions. In all cases we confirmed that the numerical results about the relative humidity in the showcase had a good agreement with the experimental ones. Through the experiments of humidity control, we found out that the adsorption efficiency is varied with the location and the amount of the Artsorb. And the numerical results showed that the adsorption material is always needed to keep on the appropriate humidity condition in the showcase even though any kind of the showcases are used.

  • This study was performed to investigate the optimum moisture content and the best packaging method of dried persimmons for long term storage at room temperature. The package material to be used were 0.05mm polyethylene film, Wrap film, 0.08mm LDPE film exchanged nitrogen gas, and non package for untreated control. Before the storage, the initial moisture contents of dried persimmons were treated with 40%, 35% and 30%, respectively; 40% as traditional dryness, 35% as extending dry period one more week, and 30% as for two more weeks. The best package method was 0.08mm LDPE film exchanged nitrogen gas, and the optimum moisture control was 35%

  • In this paper, we studied about AGVs modeling and material handling automation simulation using a virtual AGV. The proposed virtual AGV model that operates independently each other is based on a real AGV. Continuous straight-line and workstation model using vector drawing method that could easily, rapidly work system modeling are suggested. Centralized traffic control, which could collision avoidance in intersection and should not stop AGV as possible, and algorithm for detour routing which performs when another AGV is working in pre-routed path are proposed. The traffic control and the algorithm have been proved efficiently by simulation.

  • The wear mechanism of material is an important mechanic property to select a material's life and a optimum work condition. Although there are many researches about a wear mechanism of material, the pin-on-disc type tribotester is widely known to us. It is difficult to add a variable and heavy load in the existing pin-on-disc type tribotester to estimate this wear mechanism. And due to a rotation of a disc, it is impossible to add a constant force. But we can solve this problem by using a hydraulic servo system. Therefore, in order to investigate a wear mechanism of materials, it is necessary to design a hydraulic pin-on-disc type tribotester and construct a controller against a variable disturbance.

  • The automated chemical analysis shop floor are developed for the environmental pollution problems in our chemical analysis center. This shop floor have the several equipments include weight, pour, dry, heater, boiler, mixture, spectroscopy etc. And the material handling components are made up by the stored stack, conveyore, turntables, robot etc. Computer simulation has been an important tool for these complete design problem. We have designed the arangement of chemical equipments and material flow systems by using the simulator "AutoModII". "AutoMoII" is one of the advanced simulator, CAD-like drawing tools with a powerful, engineering oriented language to model control logic and material flow. The result is the modeling of the chemical analysis system in accurate, three dimensional detail. We could designed the set able layout and scheduling system by using the AutoMoII simulator.   • Recently, it is very necessary the development of the manufacturing techniques for high strength concrete(HSC) for the large-scale size and good quality of civil structure. But, the manufacture and quality control of HSC of which shrinkage, heat of hydration and workability at construction filed are considered, is very difficult due to its low water-cement ratio and high quantity of unit cement content. In the present study, we tried to know and assess the influences of chemical and physical properties of cement on the material properties of HSC. We analyzed basic properties of 4 kinds of cement whose chemical and physical properties are different each other through various tests such as chemical analysis and mortal test. Also, we performed the assessment of the material properties of HSC for each dement by the test for the conditions of same mix design and similar compressive strength. From the results in the study, the assessment of the important quality factors of cement influencing the properties of HSC may be utilized to quality control of applied cement to manufacture the HSC of high quality.

Nonlinear Analysis of RC Structures using Assumed Strain RM Shell Element

  • Nonlinear analysis of reinforced concrete structures is carried out by using Reissner-Mindlin (RM) shell finite element (FE). The brittle inelastic characteristic of concrete material is represented by using the elasto-plastic fracture (EPF) material model with the relevant material models such as cracking criteria, shear transfer model and tension stiffening model. In particular, assumed strains are introduced in the formulation of the present shell FE in order to avoid element deficiencies inherited in the standard RM shell FE. The arc-length control method is used to trace the full load-displacement path of reinforced concrete structures. Finally, four benchmark tests are carried out and numerical results are provided as future reference solutions produced by RM shell element with assumed strains.

  • In this study, we develop the lower pressure die casting with rheo-forming process of A356 aluminum alloy and vacuum system which can control the crystal size and obtain the high strengthened-light material. Using this process, we fabricate the thin plate for bipolar plate through the low pressure die casting with electromagnetic stirring and vacuum-evacuation which can control the crystal grain by electromagnetic stirring. Thin plate ($110mm{\times}130mm{\times}1mm$) is fabricated by this process. The average Vickers hardness of thin plate is about 77 HV.

  • The bending vibration and thermal flutter instability of spacecraft booms modeled as circular thin-walled beams of closed cross-section and subjected to thermal radiation loading is investigated in this paper. Thermally induced vibration response characteristics of a composite thin walled beam exhibiting the circumferantially uniform system(CUS) configuration are exploited in connection with the structural flapwise bending-lagwise bending coupling resulting from directional properties of fiber reinforced composite materials and from ply stacking sequence. The numerical simulations display deflection time-history as a function of the ply-angle of fibers of the composite materials, damping factor, incident angle of solar heat flux, as well as the boundary of the thermal flutter instability domain. The adaptive control are provided by a system of piezoelectric devices whose sensing and actuating functions are combined and that an bonded or embedded into the host structure.
