  • The purpose of this study is to design and develop the circuit of the dual mode syringe pump. Syringe pump is used in intensive care unit, delivery room, pediatric room, operating theater and other fields of hospital at present. Normally the syringe pump delivers one medicine in one case, but in case of intensive care unit, it is necessary to deliver more than two kinds of medicines at a time. Therefore we have designed dual mode syringe pump. We used RISC type microcontroller, PIC17C44 as master controller, and PIC16C73 as slave cpu using for the low power consumption. The performance of system is evaluated by analysis of the linearity and accuracy which is the most important factors in application. While the proposed system shows a acceptable linearity and accuracy, a further research about reducing the errorr should be done.

  • Nanoimprint lithography has been actively investigated. This method can replicate a nanopatterned master stamp onto a thin polymer film on a silicon substrate and so on. In this study, a square-shaped hollow piezoelectric actuator is presented, which is newly developed. This actuator is used for driving a nanoscale stamp in nanoimprint lithography instead of a conventional electric motor. The fabricated prototype actuator has 95 layers and side lengths of 23 mm and 18 mm for the outer and inner squares, respectively. By adopting a novel process instead of the conventional forming process for fabricating a one-layer actuator, the one-layer is composed of four rectangular segments produced by sawing a ceramic film with a thickness of 0.3 mm. The basic characteristics on displacement and generation force of the fabricated prototype actuator are experimentally investigated. Furthermore, the displacement characteristics obtained by using a PI controller are tested and discussed.

  • A company needs to maintain its machines always workable in order to keep the manufacturing time minimal. If any troubles occur, they should be fixed as soon as possible. But, the complexity of modern machines make the trouble shooting difficult. So, it is important that the monitoring system for automated production system to fix every trobule easily. In this paper new, inverter control system for TG feedback a formula Control was developed. The motor control system with TG feedback controller as an effect of load disturbance, it is very difficult to guarantee the robustness of control system. The function of the implementation are 7G feedback type, and temperature scheme. The Inverter Control System approach is based on master-slave control concept. To show validity of the developed new inverter control system, severial experiments are illustrated.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate changes in the forearm-muscle fatigue of a train driver operating the MasCon by using EMG (electromyogram) measurement technique. Train drivers usually use their forearm 4hours/day for normal operation. Accordingly, few different EMG signals of deltoid, biceps brachii, brachioradialis, flexor carpi ulnaris muscle of upper extremity have been measured and analyzed. The raw EMG Signals have been converted into median frequency using spectrum analysis. As the result, 80% of 10 subjects (real train drivers) showed that median frequency value of all four muscles has been reduced after 30 minutes of train operation. This results demonstrated that operating MasCon for 30 minutes could induce muscle fatigue.

  • USB bus not only works with convenience but also transmits data fast and becomes a standard peripheral interface between FPGA development board and personal computer. In this paper FPGA verification system with slave FIFO interface for Cypress FX3 USB 3 bridge chip was implemented. The designed slave FIFO interface consists of host interface module based on FIFO structure, master bus controller and command decoder and supports streaming communication interface for FX3 bridge chip and memory-mapped input and output interface for user design circuit. The ZestSC3 board with Cypress FX3 USB 3 bridge chip and Xilinx Artix FPGA(XC7A35T-1C5G3241) was used to implement FPGA verification system. It was verified that the FPGA verification system for user design circuit operated correctly under various clock frequencies using GUI software developed by visual C# and C++ DLL. The designed slave FIFO interface for FPGA verification system has modular structure and can be applicable to the different user designs with memory-mapped I/O interface.
