농촌지역 코시안가정주부의 의사소통능력, 문화적 정체성이 결혼만족도에 미치는 영향 (The Impact of Communication and Cultural Identity on Marital Satisfaction among Kosian Housewives in Rural Areas)

  • 본 연구는 농촌지역 코시안가정주부들의 사회인구학적 특성 및 의사소통능력과 문화적 정체성이 결혼만족도에 미치는 영향을 규명하고자 한 것이다. 이를 위해 경상북도 예천군과 봉화군을 임의표집하였으며, 샘플의 크기는 84명이다. 조사결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 코시안가정주부들은 주로 경제적 이유로 결혼하였으나, 현재 경제적 수준은 매우 열악하며, 둘째, 문화적 정체성은 한국문화 정체성이(평균 3.52/5점(${\pm}0.598$)) 모국문화 정체성(평균 3.27/5점(${\pm}0.611$))보다 유의하게 높게 나타났으나 보통수준이고, 결혼만족도(평균3.60/5점(${\pm}0.630$)) 역시 보통수준으로 나타났다. 셋째, 모국문화 정체성은 연령, 국적, 모국의 직업, 종교, 자녀수, 결혼기간, 결혼이유와 통계적으로 유의한 수준으로 나타났으나, 한국문화 정체성은 이들 변수와 통계적으로 유의한 영향을 보여주지 않았다. 넷째, 과반수이상이 의사소통능력수준이 낮고, 의사소통능력이 높은 집단이 낮은 집단보다 한국문화 정체성이 더 높았다. 다섯째, 결혼만족도에 가장 영향을 미치는 변수는 한국문화 정체성이었으며, 다음은 년평균 소득, 학력, 모국문화 정체성 순이었다. 한국문화 정체성과 년평균 소득은 높을수록, 모국문화 정체성과 학력은 낮을수록 결혼만족도가 높은 것으로 나타났다. 끝으로 조사결과에 대한 사회복지실천적 함의를 논의하였다.

국제결혼을 한 한국남성과 여성결혼이민자의 결혼만족도와 삶의 질 비교 (Comparison of Marital Satisfaction and Quality of Life in International Married Woman Migrants and Korean Man)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify the relationship between marital satisfaction and the quality of life for women and men who live in a rural area in Korea through an international marriage. Methods: A descriptive correlational research design was used. Ninety-one women and 56 men were surveyed from May 1st., 2007 to April 6th., 2008. Data were analyzed by t-test, Pearson's correlation coefficients, and Fisher's exact test. Two types of questionnaires were used: Marital satisfaction scale (MSS) and WHO quality of life-brief (WHOQOL-BREF). Result: There is a gap between men's age and women's in the average of their marriage ; 37 vs 24. In addition, men's marital satisfaction was much higher than women's (t =2.16, p=.032) and quality of life was also higher than women's (t=-0.85, p=.005). According to this survey, therefore, it has been shown that there is a positive correlation between marital satisfaction and the quality of life (r =.435, p<.001). Conclusion: In order to improve the quality of life, marital satisfaction should be promoted by practical family nursing programs and it is necessary for the internationally married women to be continuously provided with language education and cultural awareness.

결혼유형과 스포츠활동 참여유형에 따른 결혼건강과 결혼생활만족의 차이에 관한 분석 (Investigation on Marital Health and Marital Life Satisfaction based on Types of Marriage and Sport Activity Participation)

  • 많은 국제결혼가정들은 그들이 이전에 경험해보지 못한 상당한 수준의 스트레스를 새로운 문화에 적응하기 위해 경험한다. 본 연구는 결혼의 유형과 스포츠활동 참여유형이 결혼건강과 결혼생활만족에 미치는 영향을 연구했다. 329명의 참여자들은 결혼유형(국제결혼/국내결혼)과 스포츠활동 참여유형(배우자와 함께/따로)에 따라 총 4개의 그룹으로 나뉘어졌으며 일원다변량 분산분석을 실시하여 결혼건강과 결혼생활만족의 그룹 간 차이를 확인했다. 결과적으로 문화적 그리고 언어적 차이와는 상관없이, 배우자와 함께 스포츠 활동에 참여한 응답자들이 그렇지 못한 응답자들보다 4개의 요인(유대감, 의사소통, 가치공유, 결혼생활만족)에서 높은 결과를 보였다. 본 연구는 배우자와 함께 참여하는 스포츠활동이 결혼생활에 긍정적 영향을 준다는 것을 확인하였으며 그러한 결과는 다문화사회에서 사람들의 더 나은 결혼생활을 돕기 위한 통찰력 있는 자료를 제공할 수 있을 것이다.

  • 본 연구의 목적은 첫째, 한국여성들의 결혼만족도와 베트남여성들의 결혼만족도를 비교하여 국제결혼 이주여성들의 결혼만족도를 높이기 위한 대안 책을 모색하는데 있다. 본 연구의 연구대상은 결혼 1년 ~ 5년차 한국여성과 국제결혼 이민자여성 중 베트남여성이며, 2008년 4월 01일 ~ 4월 30일까지 약 30일에 걸쳐 진행되었다. 설문지는 한국여성과 베트남 여성 각각 150부씩 총 300부를 전국 이민자 여성을 교육하는 상담 교육기관과 국내 국제 결혼정보회사에 협조공문과 함께 우편으로 배포하여 회수하는 방식을 택하였고, 베트남 여성에 대한 자료수집과정에서 베트남 여성의 한글 이해 문제가 제기되어 본 연구는 결혼만족도에 관한 질문지를 베트남어로 번역하여 동시에 사용하였다.

20-30대 남녀의 결혼제도 인식과 결혼의향 (Perceptions of and willingness for marriage among people in their 20's and 30's)

  • The purpose of this study is to identify the perceptions of and willingness for marriage among people in their 20s and 30s. The data came from the Korean General Social Survey of the Survey Research Center at Sungkyunkwan University. The sample data set included 292 men and women aged 20 to 39. The major findings are as follows. First, gender, satisfaction with one's household economic conditions, and significantly affect the individuals' perceptions of marriage. The results show that the men's education level, value of family succession, value of gender roles, and value of parents' role are the significant factors that affect their perceptions of marriage. In the case of the women's perceptions of marriage, the significant factors are their household economic conditions, value of family succession, value of gender roles, and value of childbirth. Second, the willingness for marriage among unmarried people is decided by age, education level, whether one has an income or not, satisfaction with one's household economic conditions, and value of one's childbirth. Overall, gender is the most significant factor that affects the perceptions of marriage among all the other variables. However, men's and women's values of gender roles and family succession, respectively, both significantly affect their perceptions of marriage but show opposite coefficient directions. Another finding shows that unmarried people who are willing to marry tend not to have children. This implies that they do not perceive the decision on having a child as a necessary factor behind marriage decisions.

결혼유형에 따른 배우자 선택 과정의 차이에 관한 연구 - 취업 여성을 중심으로 - (A Study on Marriage Types and Courtship - focused on working women -)

  • This study aimed to analyze the process of courtship form having date and marriage toward women who had job before marriage. The objects were 27.36 years old and had 9.59 months marital life at average. This study conducted structured questionnaires using the reflection of spouse selection procedure. By using collected data through questionnaires, it conducted descriptive statistics, cluster analysis and t-test. The type of marriage would be divided into the emotional marriage group and the implemental marriage group The emotional marriage group had longer dating time and more satisfaction of spouse selection than the implemental group. On value variable, the emotional marriage group had more subjective selection standard and more expectation social and emotional benefit than the latter group. On search variable, the emotional marriage group estimated the relation stability and satisfied the relation with spouse more than the implemental marriage group and expected the less possibility to meet new partner.

기혼남녀의 부부의사소통이 결혼만족도에 미치는 영향 : 부부친밀감의 매개효과를 중심으로 (The Effect of Married Couple Communication on the Satisfaction of Marriage : Focusing on the Mediating Effect of Marital Intimacy)

  • This study explored how communication between married men and women is related to marital satisfaction, and verified the relationship through the medium effect of marital intimacy. A total number of 365 married men and women in their 30s-50s were surveyed. Statistical analysis was performed using SPSS 18.0 for technical statistics, frequency analysis, and regression analysis, and parametric analysis was performed using the method by Baron and Kenny(1986). The results of the study are as follows. First, as a result of the verification of differences in key variables according to the demographic characteristics, there were significant differences in the age group, education period and household income. Second, the analysis of the relationship through regression analysis shows that the demographic factors such as age, age of the youngest child, and more importantly couple communication, and marital intimacy are influential in marital satisfaction. Third, verification of the mediation analysis revealed that marital intimacy had partial mediation with communication and marital satisfaction. Through these research results, we verified that marital communication and marital intimacy are vital in order to improve marriage satisfaction for married men and women.

여성결혼이민자의 스트레스와 결혼만족도 및 도움요구 (Stress, Marital Satisfaction, and Needs for Help of Immigrant Women in Korea)

  • Purpose: The study was to assess marital satisfaction. needs for help, and stress of immigrant women. Method: The study employed a descriptive design of data collection. Structured Questionaires were given to the subjects; 144 women who immigrated to Korea through marriage. The data were then analyzed using $x^2$-test, one way ANOVA, and Pearson's Correlation. Results: Stress of immigrant women was significantly different according to their nationality. Housework was the highest among stress domains, the next were finance, husband, parents in law, health, children, and friends. Among these, the subject's stress was significantly correlated to the domains of husband and parents in law. The level of immigrant women's marital satisfaction was significantly different according to their job. Immigrant women's Korean proficiency was correlated to marital satisfaction and their marital satisfaction was significantly correlated to stress. Needs for help of immigrant women were rated in the following order : communication, the raising of children, culture and institution, finance, employment, socialization, marriage problem, discrimination, and self development. Conclusion: The findings of this study could be useful to help develop new programmes, and to support existing projects that help immigrant women integrate into Korean society.

국제결혼부부의 가치관 및 의사소통유형과 갈등과의 관계 (The Values, Communication Type and Conflict of International Marriage Couple)

  • The purpose of the study is to examine the values, communicaton type and conflict type also marital satisfaction level of international marriage couples in Chunlabuk-do. Its results are as follows ; the 140 respondents were surveyed for this study. The follows are to be concluded based on the study. First, they living with their extended family members(85.7%). So most women have psychological burden relatives relationship as well as marital relationship. Second, meaning of marriage and reason of marriage was differently perceived by both couples. They need a family life education program and counseling of marital relationship. Third, conflict and marital satisfaction level were significantly affected. Fourth, type of communication was the only variables that siginificantly affected the type of congruence by both couples. Age and nationality acquisition were variables that siginificantly affected by women on international marriage. In conclusion, systemic korean education program is an important support system for women on international marriage and a crucial program for their settlement in Korea.

  • A study on the social necessity of marriage culture center and its interial environmental design. -Focus on the plan for the special department store of necessary articles for marriage. The purposes of this study are to play a role as a guide of marriage for the age-group people who want to marry soon, and to devise a special departmentstore which harmonizes two systems of sales promotion and cultural role, which reflect features of marriage culture. This department store will settle all the procedure of marriage easily, and will improve the commercial state that hampers the essential value of marriage and that arose at department store of necessary articles for marriage and facilities for ceremony during preparation of it. Followings are also included in this study ; to study about how can the special department store offers a cultural space which is coincindent to consumer's needs, to devise a purchaser's concenience obtaining affirmative act and mental satisfaction , and to originate a design following the result.
