The Purpose of this study is to examine both supply and demand side of broiler chicken in Korea. Especially the paper aims to investigate the broiler chicken production Dressing and marketing pattern which may affect the demand for it. It is generally understood that broiler chicken production becomes unstable because of frequent market price fluctuation mainly due to disequilibrium of quantities demanded ana supplied It is important to point out that marketing in the form dressed chicken has been enforced by the regulation in Seoul area since March 1st, 1983, though live birds have been customarily marketed for year. It is assumed that the subsituation of chicken meat for beef would save foreign exchanges, because increasingly large amount of beef is imported mainly thanked to a chronical shortage in local production. Main findings of this study may be summarized as follows: 1) Broiler chicker production has been rapidly increased recently, estimating 180-200 million head per year with the trend of contineous increase year after year. Price fluctuation during the year is found, especially summer and winter mainly due to seasonal demand change. It is known that mal-funconing of broiler chicken market may be one of the causes for a large Price fluctuation. Accordingly the increase of marketing efficiency may reduce the price fluctuation and also positively impact on creating demand for the chicken consumption. 2) It is also interesting to note that 90 percent of broilers are grown on the floor and almost 86 percent of total broilers composed of so called high-bros, weighing on an average more than 1.6kg per head Approximately 8 weeks are required for of around marketing birds at the feed efficiency of around 2.3-2.5 Average broiler farm raises between 1,000 and 2,000 head, showing a quite small scale of operation. Only a few sampled farmers follow an all-in and all-out method in broiler production.

Specifically, this study investigated 1) the effects of secondhand fashion selection criteria (i.e., design, brand name, lower price) and personal factors (i.e., gender, household income, beliefs about environment) on the secondhand fashion consumption experience in nonprofit thrift stores and 2) the moderating effects of point of purchase (POP) messages (i.e., "50% Off Sale," "New Arrivals," "Helping Others") on the relationships between purchase intention and impulsive buying in nonprofit thrift stores. An online survey was used to collect the data, and a total of 197 usable responses were received. The results showed that 1) gender, household income, beliefs about environment, and brand name affected the secondhand fashion consumption experience and 2) the POP message "Helping Others" negatively moderated the relationship between purchase intention and impulsive buying in nonprofit thrift stores. This study classifies the types of visitors to experiential fishing villages and analyses the features and target marketing strategies by categorical groups. Seven factors are extracted by Factor Analysis and the results of Cluster Analysis indicate the classification of five groups. The first group puts emphasis on the family connection, so family centered facilities and programs are necessary. The second group is composed of surrounding area residents whose purpose of visit is unclear. So environmentally friendly village development programs to encourage local patriotism are necessary. The third group puts emphasis on the necessary facilities and programs for experiencing the fishing village and traditional play, etc. The fourth group emphasizes programs related with the region and the means to satisfy visitor's aesthetic desires. Finally, the fifth group aims at various desires that are generally felt in experiential fishing villages. So this group requires marketing strategies from the public point of view. The existing research mostly surveys rural tourism villages, but this study highlights the difference in dealing with fishing villages as opposed to rural villages, from the perspective of industry and settlement.

Purpose: This paper examined the role of conditional value in the green automotive industry. The relationships of conditional value's four factors, consumers' attitudes and consumers' intention to purchase green cars were investigated. The conditional value was extended by examining the effect of fuel prices. Research design, data, and methodology: This study is quantitatively designed. All variables were measured using a 7-point Likert-scale; 425 questionnaires were collected from the respondents in Malaysia. SmartPLS was utilized to examine the proposed nine hypotheses. Result: The results demonstrate a positive relationship between attitude and intention toward green cars. Additionally, the results of the relationships were as follows: fuel prices was the most significant predictor of Malaysian consumers' attitudes and consumers' intention to purchase green cars, followed by environmental consequences and government policy. However, retail sales promotions did not show a significant effect on both consumers' attitudes and intentions. Conclusion: The study's findings suggest that the Malaysian government should implement an integrated package that includes a fuel pricing policy that restricts the purchase of non-green cars, as well as a set of financial incentives for purchasing green cars. Moreover, it is valuable to conduct public awareness campaigns about the negative consequences of current consumption patterns.
Despite the abundance of research on alcoholic-beverage consumption in the food and beverage marketing literature, research directly assessing and comparing consumers' psychological motives for drinking different types of alcoholic beverages is relatively limited. There is also a paucity of research comparing drink-type specific consumption motivations in an Asian market. Paying attention to some recent new changes in the alcoholic-beverages market of South Korea, this study investigated South Korean young adult female consumers' alcoholic-beverage type-specific drinking motives. A self-administered online survey of 340 young adult female drinkers about their alcohol-consumption patterns, alcoholic-drink preferences, involvement with alcohol, and four types of drinking motives (coping, social, conformity, and enhancement motives) revealed differences in: (1) the association between the consumer's alcohol involvement level, alcohol consumption frequency/amount, and preferences for alcoholic beverages across different types of alcoholic drinks; (2) the underlying psychological motives for drinking different types of alcoholic beverages; (3) the association between consumption contexts and alcoholic drink types; and (4) the consumption patterns and drinking motives across different consumer groups that are segmented in terms of their most preferred type of alcoholic beverages. These findings point to the importance of investigating drink-type-specific consumption motivations in alcoholic-beverage consumption research. Limitations and implications for future research are also discussed.
