  • The purpose of this study was to examine dimensions related to effective managerial actions in association with effects of resourcefulness personal and managerial communications and condition s for effective home management on the basis of managerial process. Including elements of managerial process conditions for effective home management were divided into the four factors performance-condition dichotomy timing high level and middle range. In conclusion first the managerial process for effective management can be classified into the four conditions related to each other. That was termed as 'conditions for effective home management' Second the most influential variables on conditions for effective home management were personal and managerial communication. The four conditions for effective home management need to include communicaion. Third resuorcefulness was a crucial factor in relation to home management resources division. It is recommedned that resuorcefulness needs to de elop managerial actions of housewives.

  • The article analyzes the main theoretical approaches to the formation of managerial competencies and establishes the degree of development of the problem. The content of the concept of "managerial competence" has been clarified, to determine the structure of managerial competencies of a future specialist in the education system and indicators of the formation of managerial competencies. The organizational and pedagogical conditions necessary for the effective process of forming the managerial competencies of future specialists are revealed. The following research methods were used in the work: theoretical (analysis of regulatory documents and scientific literature on the problem under study, comparison, generalization, modeling), empirical (diagnostics of the level of formation of managerial competencies of students of the system, questioning, observation, peer review, comparative qualitative and quantitative analysis of diagnostic results the level of formation of managerial competencies).

  • The purpose of this study was to verify working hypotheses of effective management proposed by Sharpe and Winter(1991). For this purpose Managerial Effectiveness Scale(MES) developed and investigated relation with family life satisfaction. MES was divided into four conditions, performance-condition, timing, high level, and middle range and was included twenty-five managerial elements. Conditions of MES were highly correlated one another. It was assumed that four conditions related to promote synergistic effectiveness of managerial actions. Also, MES was positively related with family life satisfaction. It was suggested that effective management actions should improve should improve satisfaction of family life in general, and so family needs and goals should actualize through effective managerial-processes.

Clinical Nurses' Perception on the Importance and Performance of Nursing Managerial Competencies (병원 간호사의 지각된 간호관리역량에 대한 중요도와 수행도)

  • Purpose: This study aimed to investigate clinical nurses' perception on nursing managerial competencies. Methods: This was a descriptive study. The data were collected from 198 nurse managers who had worked in six general hospitals using a self-reporting questionnaire. Data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, and Importance-Performance Analysis. Results: Only 32% of the participants had experienced nursing managerial competency training. The mean score for perceived performance of nursing managerial competency was lower than that for perceived importance. There were significant differences in perceived importance, performance, and importance-performance gaps among head, charge, and staff nurses. Importance-performance analysis showed that three of the 30 nursing managerial competencies require further development: staffing, human resources development and education, and nursing standard development competency. There were significant differences in importance-performance gaps according to age, career years in current hospital, work shift, position, nursing delivery system, and nursing managerial competency-education experience. Conclusion: A training program for developing and improving nursing managerial competencies which is focused on the gaps in importance and performance level is needed for clinical nurses. In addition, it should be considered to improve nursing work conditions such as nursing delivery system and formal appointment in order to increase the performance of nursing managerial competencies.

  • Recently, work-related musculoskeletal disorders(WMSDs) are one of major issues in occupational safety and health in Korea. Main risk factors of WMSDs include manual handling of heavy weight loads, awkward posture, repetitive tasks, Prolonged static muscle contraction, and so on. The number of injured workers has rapidly increased and the related regulation was amended to improve the work conditions and environments. And demands for workers' compensation and improvement of work conditions and environment to prevent WMSDs have increasingly been raised. This study focused on managerial system to prevent WMSDs. Literal survey and questionnaire survey were accomplished to propose a management system in Korea for preventing WMSDs.

  • The purpose of this study is to evaluate the resource value of existing mud flats in JANGWHARI, KANGWHADO, as strategies for ecotourism. The research methods used in this study are Limits of Acceptable Change(LAC), and Recreation Opportunity Spectrum(ROS). The LAC process draws attention to the existing area conditions that are judged to be acceptable. Managers must define desired area conditions and undertake actions to maintain or achieve these conditions. The ROS is within each of the recreation opportunity classes identified as being used at the regional level. The Results of this study are as follows: 1) The Opportunity Class of the ROS is ecological, physical, social, managerial setting as primitive, semi-primitive. non-motorized, semi-primitive$.$motorized, and roaded natural. 2) The indicator of the LAC is ecological, physical, social, and managerial setting; the indicator of ecological is wildlife populations, water quality, road paving; the indicator of physical is facilities; the indicator of social is visitor needs for knowledge, adventure, eco-experience, and environmental education programs; and, the indicator of managerial is limits of law, and degree of management. 3) Currently, the Opportunity Class of the ROS of JANGWHARI, KANGWHADO is levels II-III, and the Opportunity Class of the suggested ROS is levels I-II. 4) This paper describes strategies for mud flat area management: detection of water quality, resolving problems of equipment, supply of both environmental education programs and guide equipment.

The Impacts of managerial Behavior on the Satisfacton with Management (가정관리행동이 관리만족도에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the impacts of managerial behaviors on the satisfaction with management. The data were collected by means of questionnaire distributed to a stratified sample of 560 housewives in Seoul. The questionnaire consisted of 107 items was developed by the researchers. Frequency, percentile, mean, and stepwise multiple regression were used to analyze the data. The results of stepwise multiple regression analyses indicate that the wives who had more reality in planning and higher standards tended to more satisfy with managerial behaviors. The elements of inplementing such as facilitating conditions and checking behaviors were positively related with managerial satisfaction. The recommendations for the ways to increase satisfaction with management and future research were suggested.

Diagnosis of Managerial Ability of Farmers Practicing Environmental Friendly Agriculture (친환경농업 실천농가의 경영능력 진단)

  • This study diagnosed the managerial ability of farmers in the Gokseong area and the Gwangyang area, and analysis was conducted especially placing focus on the difference in managerial ability on whether environmental friendly agriculture has been implemented or not. According to the analysis results, the average score of all the farmers was 63.9 out of the full score of 100 which can be seen to be a medium to high standard. Also, in the diagnosis results according to whether environmental friendly agriculture has been implemented or not, the ability scores of farmers practicing environmental friendly agriculture were higher than those who were not, but large differences between the item scores for information ability and cooperative ability were shown. This is connoting a very important meaning in terms of the point that correspondence is being made to the conditions required to possess market response capabilities to the high information systemization society to unfold in the future. As a result, the important issue can be seen to be personnel cultivation in order to possess self response capabilities through the development of education programs that can improve this kind of managerial ability and revision of support systems.

  • This study investigates whether the efforts of infusing managerial ideologies or organizational visions affect service quality and organizational effectiveness for emotional workers. Data for the empirical analysis were collected from employees (doctors, nurses, and so on) in 14 hospitals on a national scale. The results indicate that ideological infusion efforts have a significant and positive effect on service quality, job involvement, and organizational attachment. Interestingly, the effect of these efforts is greater than the effects of other employment conditions like wage, employment security, and social support.

  • Purpose - Labor productivity is extremely important to the profitability and competitive advantage of organizations that provide services to customers, such as banks. This study investigates the factors driving labor productivity in Iran's Melli Bank. Research design, data, methodology - Five managerial, psychosocial, cultural, and individual factors are identified and their relative importance for labor productivity prioritized using AHP. The required data are then collected through a questionnaire designed for a pairwise comparison of the driving factors of labor productivity and their subcategories. Results - The study outcomes reveal that the managerial and individual factors are the most important. Specifically, the most important factors in increasing labor productivity in the branches of Melli Bank are having a competent supervisor, promotion opportunities, fair working conditions, conscientiousness, the right tools, and a correspondence between skills and work. Conclusions - Implementing AHP using Expert Choice software revealed that, among the driving factors of labor productivity (i.e., managerial, psychosocial, cultural, environmental, and personal), managerial factors were considered the most important by the respondents.
