내재적 혁신성과 상품 관심이 특정 상품에 대한 소비자 혁신성에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Innate Innovativeness and Product Interest on Product-Specific Consumer Innovativeness)

  • This study investigated consumer innovativeness by examining a relationship model of innate innovativeness, product interest, product-specific innovativenss, and actualized innovativeness for eight product items as well as observed gender differences in the variables. The eight product items for the survey were smartphones, movies, clothing, cars, skin care products/cosmetics, traveling, AI products, and books. An online survey was conducted in January 2018, and 400 responses from male and female consumers in their twenties and thirties, were analyzed using reliability test, descriptive statistics, regression, and ANCOVA. The positive effect of innate innovativeness and product interest on product-specific innovativeness, and positive effect of innate innovativeness and product-specific innovativeness on actualized innovativeness were confirmed. Product interest was found to have a stronger power on product-specific innovativeness than innate innovativeness. Gender differences in product interest, product-specific innovativeness, and actualized innovativeness were identified as hypothesized. Female consumer's clothing interest, clothing innovativenss, and actualized clothing innovativeness were higher than male consumers; in addition, male consumer's cars and AI interest, cars and AI innovativenss, and actualized cars and AI innovativeness were higher than female's. The controversial results that indicated the higher innate innovativeness of male consumers useful to further in-depth discussion and research. This study contributed to the theory construction of consumer innovativeness research areas and offered practical implications for new product launching and customer relationship management.

  • Seven years old male lion in Everland Zoo has three fractured canine tooth. To avoid the risk of a possible fracture with pulp exposure after restroration of largest abration defects, endodontic therapy was performed. The pulp chamber was filled with calcium hydroxide, zinc oxide cement and gutta percha. We also installed the Crown prosthesis was installed in fractured canine tooth to protect the tooth and to improve the cosmetics and function of the tooth. The lion could eat in one day and there were no any signs of dental problem. It is the obvious prophylactic procedure for wild animal is the inclusion of an oral examination at every opportunity to handle the animal. It is considered that crown prosthesis after endodontic therapy was useful for maintaining normal physiological function and for provention of additional fracture or complication.

외모가꾸기 행동의 결정요인 분석 (The Determinants of Appearance Management Behaviors)

  • Recently 'lookism' is prevalent in Korean society. Lookism is a thought that one of causes of unequality of the mankinds is the appearance. The appearance is not only endowed but is made by efforts. Korean market related beauty including cosmetics occupied over $15billion. The purpose of this study is to find the determinants of the appearance management behaviors. Considering social characteristics of Korea and previous literatures, Collectivism, body image were chosen as an explaining variables. And self-esteem, attitudes toward sex roles and the shopping orientation and some demographic variables were selected. For the data analysis, 514 questionnaire for male and female in Daegu were collected. The determinants of appearance management behaviors were perceived level of living, concerns toward thinness, shopping orientation, appearance evaluation, female, family oriented thinking, belief in appearance power, attitude toward sex roles.

In vivo and In vitro hair growth promotion effects of extract from Glycine soja Siebold et Zucc

  • Hair is a dermal adjunctive organ that protects the body from external physical and chemical stimuli; hair undergoes anagen, catagen, and telogen phases, with hair-loss occurring during the telogen phase. Alopecia is a condition wherein a person undergoes hair-loss far exceeding the normal amount, owing to diverse external factors. Wild beans are rich in isoflavone and amino acids known to prevent hair-loss; compared to cultivated beans, many wild bean species have higher protein content. This study aimed to develop a hair growth promoting solution, with superior hair growth promoting effects and fewer side effects, using naturally obtained Glycine soja Siebold et Zucc (GSSZ) extracts. Seven-week-old C57BL/6N male mice were classified into different experimental groups. Hair growth was observed in GSSZ-treated mice, and compared against that seen in 3 % minoxidil (MXD, positive control)-treated mice. Visual observations revealed a greater reduction in hair-loss in MXD and GSSZ application groups, compared to that in TXN group (hair loss induction using 1 % testosterone). Evaluation using an image analysis software revealed that compared to the positive control, TXN + GSSZ group showed the highest hair growth. TXN + MXD and control groups exhibited similar follicular cell growth, while the hair growth promotion patterns were similar in the negative control (normal), TXN + GSSZ, and TXN groups, as observed via histological analysis. GSSZ did not induce cytotoxicity (even at 2 mg/mL) in keratinocytes and dermal papilla cells; alternately, dermal papilla cell proliferation was activated in a (GSSZ) concentration-dependent manner. Therefore, the GSSZ extract promoted hair growth and increased hair growth-related cell activity, and could therefore be utilized in alopecia treatment.

화장품 패키지에 삽입된 인증마크 정보가 제품에 대한 품질평가, 신뢰, 태도, 구매의도에 미치는 영향 (Effects of certification mark information indicated in the cosmetics package on quality evaluation, trust, attitude, and purchase intention)

  • This study examines the effect of cosmetic certification marks on consumer behavior. The underlying objectives of this study are threefold. First, it explores whether the certification mark inserted into the cosmetic package-such as marks denoting quality assurances, ethical practices (specifically, pertaining to animal testing), and recycling packaging-affects consumer responses. Second, it investigates whether a higher number of certification marks leads to heightened positive consumer responses. Third, it analyzes the potential moderating effect of consumers' certification mark knowledge on the relationship between certification marks and consumer responses. In the pretest, certification marks with higher recognition were selected as stimuli, and a survey involving a total of 550 male and female consumers was conducted. The collected data were analyzed through ANOVA and post-hoc tests. The findings of this study confirm a significant difference in consumer responses to products based on the certification marks inserted in the cosmetic packaging. Compared to clusters without a certification mark, groups with two or more certifications (recycling certification + ethics certification, recycling certification + quality certification, recycling certification + ethics certification + quality certification) exhibit significant consumer responses. Second, more certification marks did not result in an increase in positive consumer responses. Third, a moderating effect of consumers' cosmetic certification knowledge on the certification mark-consumer response relationship was not found. The findings of this study have implications for developing product promotion strategies that leverage cosmetic certification marks as a marketing tool.

대학생의 성별에 따른 피부 관련 생활습관 및 피부건강행동에 대한 비교 연구 (A Comparative Study of Skin-related Habits and Skin Health Behaviors according to Gender in College Students)

  • 본 연구는 대학생의 성별에 따른 피부 관련 생활 습관 및 피부건강행동에 대한 차이를 알아보았다. 설문은 일반적 사항, 피부 관련 생활습관, 화장품 사용 실태 및 피부 관리 습관에 대한 4가지 항목에 대해 조사하였다. 연구결과로 피부 관련 생활습관에서는 흡연(χ2=19.58, p=0.000) 및 운동(χ2=17.59, p=0.001) 습관에서는 성별에 따른 유의한 차이가 나타났다. 화장품 사용 실태의 모든 항목에 있어서는 대학생의 성별에 따른 유의한 차이가 나타났으나, 자외선차단제를 제외한 기능성화장품, 에센스, 영양크림, 아이크림, 마스크팩 및 딥클렌징 항목에서 남·여 대학생 모두 '사용하지 않음' 및 '주 1회 미만 사용' 항목에서 가장 높게 나타났다. 반면 자외선차단제 사용에 있어서는 성별에 따른 유의한 차이가 나타났다(χ2=31.20, p=0.000). 본 연구 결과, 조사 항목에 따라 차이가 있긴 하였으나, 전반적으로 여자 대학생이 남자 대학생에 비해 피부 관리가 잘 이루어지고 있음을 알 수 있었다.

스킨헬스케어를 위한 에코코스메틱 효과성의 주·객관적인 평가 (Subjective and Objective Evaluation of Acne Skin Through Natural Cosmetics with Distilled Bamboo Vinegar Contents for Skin Health Care)

  • 본 연구는 죽초액을 함유한 폼클렌징과 토너, 팩 사용에 따른 여드름 피부상태 개선을 주·객관적 평가를 통해 검증하고자 하였다. 연구 대상은 한국형 여드름 중등도 시스템에 의한 2등급 이상의 여드름 피부 해당자로 광주·전라 지역 고등학교 남·여학생 20명을 선정하였다. 실험 진행을 위해 대상자를 죽초액 함유 폼클렌징, 토너, 팩 사용군(실험군) 10명, 죽초액 비함유 폼클렌징, 토너, 팩 사용군(대조군) 10명으로 나누어 12주 동안 각각 폼클렌징과 토너, 팩사용하도록 하였으며, 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 객관적 측정값에 의한 피부개선 효과에서 실험군이 대조군에 비해 이마, 콧등, 왼쪽볼의 모공 감소와 피지 개선 정도가 크게 나타났으며(p<.001), 주관적 평가도구에 의한 피부개선 효과에도 실험군이 대조군에 전반적인 만족도가 높게 나타났다(p<.05, p<.001). 화장품 사용 만족도는 전체 값에서 폼클렌저, 토너, 팩 모두 실험군이 대조군에 비해 높게 나타났으며(p<.01, p<.001), 세부적으로 유용성에서 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 보였다(p<.01, p<.001). 이상의 결과 죽초액은 여드름 피부상태 개선에 효과적인 천연화장품 소재임이 확인되었다.

남성의 외모관리 행동과 정보탐색과의 관계 고찰 (Relationship between Appearance Management Behavior and Information Search of Male Workers)

  • 인류역사와 함께 해온 인간의 미의식에 대한 기본적 욕구가 현대의 경제적 사회적 변화의 추이에 따라 보다 개인화 다양화 되었으며, 여성에 비해 매스미디어의 접속과 경험이 상대적으로 높은 남성들의 경우 외모관리를 위한 정보 획득과 공유를 미디어 상에서 빠르게 적용 및 활용해 가는 특징이 강하다. 본 논문에서는 현대 남성상의 이미지와 특징을 분류 정리하였으며, 남성의 외모관리와 정보탐색의 관계를 정보매체 유형을 분석하였다. 또한 남성의 외모관리행동과 특징을 메이크업, 헤어관리, 피부관리, 손발관리, 성형수술로 구분하여 정보매체별 탐색 관계를 고찰하였다. 이는 남성소비시장을 타깃으로 한 미용, 화장품, 병원 등의 산업군에서 홍보마케팅 정보로 유용한 가치가 있을 것으로 보여 지며, 외모관리를 위한 정보탬색을 위한 매체 유형 선호관계를 이해함으로써 광고마케팅 전략 수립에 가치 있는 정보로 작용하리라 본다.

한포진 219례에 대한 임상적 고찰 (Clinical Analysis on the 219 cases of Dyshidrotic Eczema)

  • Objectives : The purpose of this study was to investigate the clinical manifestations and influences of occupation, concomitant allergic diseases, various aggravating factors and seasonal changes for patients with dyshidrotic eczema. Methods : A total of 219 patients who showed clinical manifestations of dyshidrotic eczema were included in this study. We retrospectively reviewed the clinical characteristics of all the patients. Results : 1. Among 219 patients, there were 76 male patients (34.7%), 143 female patients (65.3%), male to female ratio was 1: 1.88. The average age of the patients at admission was $31.9{\pm}9.8$ years, had a lot of 20s and 30s the distribution. 2. The average of duration of the admission to the clinic after the onset was $4.01{\pm}4.42$ years. 3. Common accompaning diseases dyshidrotic eczema patients have were allergic rhinitis(87 cases), and atopic dermatitis(55 cases), sweating(45 cases), and asthma(10 cases) in order. 4. The most commonly occurring sites for dyshidrotic eczema patients are fingers(60.3%), palm(53.4%), dorsum of hand(19.2%) and nails(5.5%) in order. 5. The most commonly contacted materials for dyshidrotic eczema patients are water(130 cases), cosmetics(40 cases) and rubber gloves(34 cases) in order. The aggravating factors of dyshidrotic eczema patients are emotional stress(110 cases), fatty food(22 cases) and alcohol(22 cases) in order. 6. The number of patients showing seasonal changes in symptoms was 111. The season with the most severe symptom was summer with 76 cases, which was statistically significant. Conclusions : This study demonstrated the various clinical characteristics of Korean patients with dyshidrotic eczema.

배양가능한 피부세균의 분리 및 동정 (Isolation and identification of culturable bacteria from human skin)

  • 나이가 20-25세인 남녀 성인들 20명(남성 5명, 여성 15명)의 엄지손가락 표면에 상재하는 세균을 채취하고 Luria-Bertani agar에서 배양하였다. 배양된 세균들의 16S rDNA를 polymerase chain reaction을 통하여 증폭하고, 그 염기서열을 분석하였다. 이렇게 얻어진 염기서열을 genbank의 자료들과 비교하여 세균들을 동정한 결과, 총 14종의 세균들이 확인되었다. 개인별로는 평균 2.5종의 배양 가능한 세균들을 손의 피부에 보유하는 것으로 확인되었다. 확인된 세균 중에서는 Staphylococcus 종들이 가장 널리 존재하고 있었으며, 다음으로는 Micrococcus luteus이었다. Staphylococcus 종들의 경우에는 그 분포에 있어서 성별에 따른 차이가 적었으나, Micrococcus luteus의 경우에는 남자보다 여자에게서 훨씬 더 많이 분리되는 경향을 보였다. 이러한 결과는 피부 질환에 대한 연구, 피부질환에 대한 치료제 개발, 피부에 사용하는 화장품개발 등의 분야에 도움이 될 것으로 사료된다.
