A Study of the Relationship between Face Satisfaction and Makeup Satisfaction

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between women's face satisfaction and makeup satisfaction, to disclose the differences of makeup satisfaction according to demographic variables, and to examine how makeup satisfaction was influenced by face satisfaction and demographic variables. The subjects were 200 women over age 17 living in Seoul and its peripheral areas. The results of this study were as follows: Face satisfaction were drawn three factors. Factor 1 was face contour satisfaction, Factor 2 was skin satisfaction, and Factor 3 was lips and eyes satisfaction. There were significant positive relationship between factors of face satisfaction and makeup satisfaction. Also, the face contour satisfaction was in positive correlation with satisfaction of features, and the skin satisfaction was in positive correlation with that of features. There were significant positive correlations between makeup satisfaction and face shape, eyes, nose, lips, chin, and cheek bone satisfaction. Face satisfaction didn't show significant difference according to demographic variables, but makeup satisfaction showed significant difference according to age and occupation. Face satisfaction was influenced by the facial face, clarity of skin, elasticity of skin, skin color, and ages. The explanatory power of the 4 variables were 24.5%. Makeup satisfaction was influenced by lips and eyes satisfaction, ages, and skin care level. The explanatory power of the 3 variables were 13.3%.

코로나19로 인한 마스크 착용과 메이크업만족도, 목표지향적 태도의 상관관계 (Correlation among Wearing Masks Because of COVID-19, Makeup Satisfaction and Goal-oriented Attitude)

  • 국내 성인 여성 330명을 대상으로 코로나19로 인한 마스크 착용 이전/이후 메이크업 정도와 메이크업 만족도의 상관관계, 여기에 작용하는 메이크업에 대한 의무적/자발적 목표지향적 태도의 조절효과를 알아보았다. 코로나19 이전 메이크업 만족도에 유의한 변수는 립메이크업(p<.001)이었고 코로나19 이후 유의한 변수는 아이브로우메이크업(p<.002)이었다. 코로나19 이전/이후 메이크업 정도와 메이크업 만족도 사이에 작용하는 의무적 목표지향적 태도의 조절효과는 유의하지 않았으나 자발적 목표지향적 태도의 조절효과는 코로나19 이전(p<.000)과 이후(p<.000) 모두 유의했다. 코로나19 이전/이후 메이크업 정도 차이는 코로나19 이후 메이크업 정도가 이전보다 낮은 것(p<.000)으로 나타나, 메이크업이 스스로의 만족을 위한 것이라고 믿는다면 메이크업 정도가 만족도에 유의하지만 실제 행동은 마스크 착용 이후 메이크업 정도가 줄었다. 이상의 내용이 미용·화장품 업계의 마케팅 자료로 활용되기를 기대한다.

여성 소비자의 외모만족도가 아이 메이크업 관심도 및 메이크업 관리행동에 미치는 영향 (The Influence of Appearance Satisfaction on Interest in Eye Makeup and Makeup care Behavior in Female Consumers)

  • 본 연구는 여성 소비자의 외모만족도가 아이 메이크업 관심도 및 메이크업 관리행동에 미치는 영향을 검증하고, 아이 메이크업 화장품 시장에서의 마케팅 전략 수립 및 화장품 개발의 기초 자료를 제공하고자 하였다. 수도권 지역의 20-50대 여성을 대상으로 399부의 자료를 최종 분석하여 사용하였다. 연구결과, 첫째, 일반적 특성에 따른 외모만족도, 아이 메이크업 관심도, 아이 메이크업 관리행동에서는 각 요인에 따라 차이가 나타났으나, 아이 메이크업에 대한 관심은 자신에 대한 관리로부터 시작되며 유행을 따르는 것에 관심을 가지는 것을 알 수 있었다. 둘째, 외모만족도가 아이 메이크업 관심도에 미치는 영향에서는 이목구비에 대한 외모만족도가 높을수록 아이 메이크업 관심도가 높게 나타났다. 셋째, 외모만족도가 아이 메이크업 관리행동에 미치는 영향에서는 피부상태에 대한 외모만족도가 높을수록 유행선도형 메이크업 관리행동이 높게 나타났다. 결론적으로 외모만족도가 높을수록 아이 메이크업 관심도가 높아지고 메이크업 관리행동에 영향을 미치는 것을 알 수 있었다.

뷰티 메이크업 앱을 활용한 가상 화장이 여대생의 감정상태, 신체만족도, 자아존중감에 미치는 영향 (Effects of the Virtual Makeup Using Beauty Makeup Applications on Mood, Body Satisfaction, and Self-Esteem among Female University Students)

  • The popularity of beauty makeup applications has dramatically increased among young Korean female social media users. The current experimental study examined how the use of beauty makeup applications when taking and posting selfies influences social media users' mood, body satisfaction, and self-esteem. A total of 114 female undergraduate students participated in experiments which included two conditions of taking selfies with and without the use of beauty makeup applications. Participants reported their current mood, and body satisfaction as well as self-esteem before and after experiments. Data were analyzed using repeated measures analysis of variances. The significant interactions between experimental groups and time (pre- and post-test) were found for negative mood, positive mood, and body satisfaction. Participants who took selfies using beauty makeup applications were in a significantly better mood compared to those taking selfies without the use of a beauty makeup application. The level of body satisfaction significantly decreased only for women who took selfies without the use of a beauty makeup application. This study extends the current literature of virtual makeup behavior and body image.

분장 체험을 활용한 테마파크 만족도, 충성도, 재방문의도에 관한 연구 - 에버랜드 중심으로 - (The satisfaction of the theme park using the makeup experience - In the center of Everland -)

  • The makeup experience service in a theme park was analyzed for the study on the makeup service using experiential marketing based on recent consumer experience. The results of the study showed that the utilization, marketing effect, and lifestyle in makeup service at the Experiential marketing are analyzed. In other words, according to the variables, the purpose of this study is to the effect on the satisfaction, loyalty, and Intent to revisit. In this study, in order to achieve this, literature research and Empirical study on the same time. In literature review, Theories and previous studies were considered which are about experience marketing, lifestyle, makeup service, loyalty, satisfaction, and the intent to revisit. Then, a research model and a hypothesis were established. In empirical study, Based on this, it was applied to the makeup service in a theme park and verified through analysis methods such as frequency analysis, reliability verification, factor analysis, and structural equation modeling. The results showed that experience marketing and lifestyle had a significant influence on satisfaction, loyalty, and return visit intention. Based on this research, the makeup service using experience marketing would be hopefully more practical as a typical culture content marketing.

여대생(女大生)의 성역할(性役割) 정체감(正體感)과 화장(化粧) 행동(行動)에 관(關)한 연구(硏究) (A Study on Sex Role Identity and Makeup Behavior)

  • This objective study were to classify the contents of makeup behavior, to investigate the relationship between makeup behavior and sex role identity, and to examine how the makeup behavior, makeup satisfaction was influenced by sex role identity and demographics. To achieve this, the researchers surveyed 162 women for the ages of 18 through 25. The result of this study are followed. 1) Four factor of makeup behavior were sexual attractiveness, aesthetic, psychological dependence and makeup interest. 2) There were significant positive relationship between makeup behavior and sex role identity. 3) Sexual attractiveness were influenced by femininity, income. The explanatory power of the 2 variables were 8.5%. Aesthetic were influenced by masculinity. The explanatory power of the 1 variable was 9.2%. Psychological dependence were influenced by femininity. The explanatory power of the 1 variable was 8.2%. Makeup interest were influenced by masculinity, age. The explanatory power of the 2 variables were 9.0%. 4 Makeup satisfaction were influenced by sexual attractiveness, aesthetic. The explanatory power of the 2 variables were 22.1%.

분장 서비스를 활용한 체험마케팅과 테마파크 이용자의 만족도, 충성도, 재방문의도의 관계 (The relationship between experiential marketing using makeup services and theme park participants' satisfaction, loyalty and intention to return)

  • The purpose of this study is to identify the relationship between experience marketing using makeup services and theme park users' satisfaction, loyalty, and revisit intention. This is because it can identify the usefulness of makeup services and provide implications for effective field marketing strategies. In order to achieve the purpose, 668 users of the theme park were surveyed after convenience screening as research participants. The main theme was the makeup service for visitors to Lotte world, Everland, and Hapcheon Ghost theme park. this study reviewed previous studies and applied them to the makeup service. Based on this, the research model and the hypothesis were established, and as part of the empirical research, the hypothesis was verified through analysis methods such as frequency analysis, reliability verification, factor analysis, and structural equation modeling. The summary of the research results based on empirical analysis is as follows. First, as a result of analyzing experience marketing using makeup services has a positive impact on the satisfaction of customers using theme parks. Second, experience marketing using makeup services has a positive effect on customer loyalty. Third, experience marketing using makeup services has a positive effect on intention to return. Fourth, satisfaction and loyalty were found to affect the intention to return. Based on this research, we hope that the makeup service as experiential marketing can be effectively applied in various fields, and that the research can be used as basic data to make the makeup service into the representative cultural contents marketing.

A Study on Satisfaction with Makeup-kits and Makeup-kit Brand Development -Focused on Lifelong Education Centers of Colleges-

  • The purpose of this study is to develop a new makeup-kit brand for education, analyzing customer satisfaction of makeup-kits used in makeup lessons provided by lifelong education centers of colleges. The research method is as follows. In order to understand the current status of the kits used in makeup lessons offered by lifelong education centers of colleges in South Korea, the study conducted a survey from October 10 of 2014 to October 31 via fax, telephone and e-mail targeting these 98 colleges that were open makeup-courses available in October 2014. As for an analysis technique, the study used a frequency analysis. In order to develop a makeup-kit brand, the study investigated these makeup-kits as well and presented a BI draft and a makeup-kit design that the study had created for itself using Photoshop CS6 and Illustrator CS4. According to findings of the survey, the students were not satisfied with kits that had too many items, were high in price and had poor case design. In the light of that, the study conducted to develop a low to middle priced makeup-kit ranging from 110,000 KRW and 150,000 KRW with approximately 26 items. In terms of a case design, black was a dominant color which would make the case feel simple and modern. Dimensions of a small size makeup-kit container were 22cm*35cm*37cm with a sponge and rubber pad proposed as product ideas. The study also worked on a BI design.

퍼스널 컬러 메이크업 컨설팅 만족도가 대인관계 향상에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Satisfaction in Personal Color Makeup Consulting on the Improvement of Personal Relations)

  • This study investigated the causes and effects of personal colors consulting that are considered as a new lifestyle and revitalized personal relations, and provides an understanding of the effects personal color makeup satisfaction have on personal relations. We provide basic data for future personal color and beauty industry development and image consulting. This study surveyed male and female subjects 20-50 years of age nationwide, using a Google questionnaire. The survey lasted from May 7-26, 2023. A total of 350 questionnaires were distributed, of which 256 (130 males, 126 females) were used for the final analysis, insincere responses having been discarded. SPSS 25.0 was used fand a frequency test, exploratory factor analysis, regression analysis, and Cronbach's ? were conducted for statistical results. In addition, descriptive statistics, correlations analysis and regression analysis were conducted. As a result, as personal color makeup consulting satisfaction levels were high, it had a positive effect on confidence, positiveness, favorability, positive tendencies, and sociability, which indicates that personal relations were improved through personal color makeup. It is suggested that, as this study was confined to makeup and the subjects were mainly men, further studies should supplement this focus area of fashion, and the gender balance of study subjects should be adjusted for intensified results.

메이크업 국가기술자격증 실기검정과 메이크업 미용인의 직무심리(職務心理)와의 상관성 연구 (A study on the correlation between the practical examination of the national technical qualification of makeup and the psychology of makeup)

  • 타인에게 긍정적 이미지를 전달하기 위한 현대인의 외모관리 열풍으로 미용은 과학과 기술을 바탕으로 세분화, 다양화되면서 전문기술직으로 자리매김하였다. 메이크업 미용사 국가기술자격증이 미용사(통합)에서 분리되면서 실기검정 과제에 대한 실효성 검증과 함께 산업체 현장에서 메이크업 미용인의 직무 태도와의 상관성에 대해 분석할 필요성이 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 제1과제인 웨딩(로맨틱), 웨딩(클래식), 한복, 내추럴 메이크업 등의 뷰티메이크업 시술로 인해 메이크업 미용인이 인지하는 직무 효능감과 직무만족도를 알아보고자 가설설정 후 연구하고자 한다. 연구 결과 웨딩 클래식 메이크업과 웨딩 로맨틱 메이크업 시술이 메이크업 미용인에게 직무 효능감과 직무만족도를 각각 유발하는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 메이크업 업무 특성상 채도가 높고 강렬한 색상 표현이 직무 태도에 긍정적 영향을 미침을 시사하고 있다. 따라서 본 연구 결과를 토대로 실효성을 배가시킨 메이크업 실기과제의 업데이트와 메이크업 미용인의 직무태도 향상을 위한 향후 노력이 필요할 것으로 판단한다.
