Poly(vinyl butyral) (PVB) with different wt% water was studied gravimetrically as well as with 1H magic angle spinning (MAS) nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR). The composition of PVB samples changes during MAS NMR because of the centrifugal force. As MAS time progresses, initially free water was removed fast but bound water also was gradually depleted. More water was diminished at faster spinning speeds, longer spinning time, higher temperatures, and higher initial water contents. As water in PVB was reduced, the chemical shifts and line widths of different types of water and also those of PVB changed. Our results demonstrate that 1H MAS NMR carried out at 10 kHz in less than about 5 minutes is a convenient and sensitive technique to measure: (a) the content variations of different types of water in polymers, (b) the degree of the interaction of water and polymer, and (c) the molecular dynamics of the polymer. Our study can be extended to different soft polymers with other small molecules than water in them.

The purpose of this study was to explore the sensibilities of audiences about the buildings and backgrounds in the movie with Harry Potter, a magic movie. For this purpose, the sensibility vocabulary suitable for the background of the movie was derived. I expect that the building background of the movie will have an sensibility impact on the audience and I hope that it will help to understand the Western classical Gothic style and culture in an emotional aspect.

Ginseng is used as a medicinal ingredient. The quality control of species, age, origin and manufacturing process is important. The metabolome of ginseng about quality was studied in many reports. Almost studies carried out the extract of ginseng, however, the reproducibility cannot be obtained using extracted sample. In this study, powdery ginseng samples were analyzed using high resolution-magic angle spinning nuclear magnetic resonance (HR-MAS NMR)-based metabolomics except extraction step. Sample was measured three times using 600 MHz NMR spectrometer equipped with nano probe. Reproducibility can be enhanced using this method and the metabolic profiles of ginseng were identified and quantified.

Membrane proteins play a essential role in the biological systems and it is not easy to handle a membrane protein for its structural study. Solid-state NMR (ssNMR) can be a good tool to investigate the structures and dynamics of membrane proteins. In ssNMR, Magic Angle Spinning (MAS) and Cross Polarization (CP) can be utilized to reduce the line-broadening, leading to high resolution and sensitivity in the spectrum. ssNMR, if combined with other spectroscopic methods, can provide us a enough knowledge on structures and dynamics of membrane proteins in biological condition.

TCG는 Trading Card Game의 약자로 수집과 게임을 목적으로 디자인된 카드게임을 일컫는다. TCG는 1993년 미국의 수학자인 리처드 가필드(Richard Garfield)가 만든 '매직: 더 개더링'(Magic: The Gathering)을 시작으로 '스펠파이어'(Spellfire), '일루미나티'(Illuminati)와 같은 다양한 게임으로 이어지며 하나의 독자적인 장르로 자리매김하게 되었다. TCG는 전략적 게임 디자인을 통한 독자적 장르의 재미도 가지고 있지만, 수집 요소가 가진 장점으로 인해 많은 타 장르 게임에서 혼합되어 사용되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 최초의 TCG인 '매직: 더 개더링'의 분석을 통해 다양한 덱을 만들어내는 방법에 대해 연구하고 나아가 타 장르 활용 방안에 대하여 제시하고자 한다.

This paper proved the reason why the Batdam does not collapse in the 50m/s typhoon by the Circulation of the Stack Effect and traced the correlation with crops in spring, summer, autumn and winter. Batdam, which is built with oedam, is a magic wall wich is played the role of 3rd layer over 22,000km, when stacked in a field, has the inertia like a linear motion of constant velocity and resists winds no matter how strong it blows. We analyzed the reason of Batdam 1.5 meters, Oreum 200 times of Batdam, and Hallasan 1,300 times Batdam, and analyzed the resonance of the characteristic function. In this paper, we adapted to natural climate change, and we built a batdam to derive the height of the batdam and neutral plane for farming according to the seasonal characteristics, and designed the relationship between natural intelligence control.

The 21st century are seeing a large number of performing arts, and one of them, opera is evolving, transforming itself as one of total arts. Besides, the costume in performing art which play a major role in opera's visual impact, characterize figures, set the tone for performance and greatly contribute to the perfection of the stage. Under these circumstances, the study developed designs of stage costumes and built a full-scale production of the Magic Flute, one of three greatest Mozart operas. The opera based on a fiction, is still popular today since it is a fantastic fairy tale introducing moral and ethical lessons. The play's background itself is Egypt. But due to its fairy-take-like storyline, it has been performed focusing on various concepts rather than on costumes prepared through background research. As such, this study conducted research on designs of stage costumes that contains the element of Egypt and also take athleticism and comfort into consideration. The results derived from the study were as follows. First, traditional dresses of ancient Egypt were used as a basis while adding some modem touch in terms of forms or colors, which resulted in a new design. Second, a variety of images were captured using textures and colors that fit the characteristics of attributes of the figures. Third painting techniques were used to help highlight the symbolic image of Egypt-simple, not heavy and extravagant-with fairy-tale-like fantasy.

Purpose: According to current guidelines, perioperative chemotherapy is an integral part of the treatment strategy for advanced gastric cancer. Randomized controlled studies have been conducted in order to determine whether perioperative chemotherapy leads to improved R0 resection rates, fewer recurrences, and prolonged survival. The aim of our project was to critically appraise three major studies to establish whether perioperative chemotherapy for advanced, potentially resectable gastric cancer can be recommended on the basis of their findings. Materials and Methods: We analyzed the validity of the three most important studies (MAGIC, ACCORD, and EORTC) using a standardized questionnaire. Each study was evaluated for the study design, patient selection, randomization, changes in protocol, participating clinics, preoperative staging, chemotherapy, homogeneity of subjects, surgical quality, analysis of the results, and recruitment period. Results: All three studies had serious shortcomings with respect to patient selection, homogeneity of subjects, changes in protocol, surgical quality, and analysis of the results. The protocols of the MAGIC and ACCORD-studies were changed during the study period because of insufficient recruitment, such that carcinomas of the lower esophagus and the stomach were examined collectively. In neither the MAGIC study nor the ACCORD study did patients undergo adequate lymphadenectomy, and only about half of the patients in the chemotherapy group could undergo the treatment specified in the protocol. The EORTC study had insufficient statistical power. Conclusions: We concluded that none of the three studies was sufficiently robust to justify an unrestrained recommendation for perioperative chemotherapy in cases of advanced gastric cancer.

The film has always reflected the culture of the era based on reality and imagination. The visual effect in the film has mainly played a role of expressing the reality more realistically or recognizing the virtual as reality. This study examines the meaning and the effect of fantasy realism through Oasis of Lee Chang-dong. Fantastic realism has separated the reality from the imaginary space by using a dual meaning tool that affects the time and space in the film and reflects the human desire and desire to see. It was also reproduced in the real world through the medium of pigeons. In addition, it separates visualized space from non-visualized space in film narrative structure, separation of real and unreal space, segregation of consciousness and unconscious space, and separation of reality and reality space into power structure. With the development of technology, the image of the yellow image comes closer to us like reality, which will express the space of unconsciousness that we could not think of.
