  • This study examined differences in consumers' images of short-term income forest products, preference, willingness to pay prices and purchase behavior according to dietary lifestyle as well as investigated what factors influence the degree of satisfaction when purchasing short-term income forest products and willingness to repurchase. According to dietary lifestyle, the results classified consumers as 'frugal housewife type,' 'convenience-seeking type,' and 'food high-involvement type.' A 'food high-involvement group' is defined as a group that wants high quality products regardless of price. In the 'frugal housewife type,' country of origin and hygiene/safety (considered when purchasing food) had positive influences on the degree of satisfaction. In the 'convenience-seeking type,' country of origin (considered when purchasing food) had a positive influence on the degree of satisfaction while country of origin (checked when purchasing food) had a negative influence on degree of satisfaction. Consumers had a lack of perception for short-term income forest products; subsequently, short-term income forest products had a weakness of low access to consumers. Therefore, farms for short-term income forest products need to divide products into 'high-priced' luxury products and 'low-priced' frugal products according to dietary lifestyle characteristics, improve packaging status to enable consumers to check quality certificates, and clearly indicate country of origin as well as improve distribution processes and increase consumer access to products.

Stage 2; The total income is on a low level owing to the decrease of house wife's income, though the husband's income keep growing. Stage 3; Owing to the increase of husband's income, the cost of living as well as the total income keeps growing but the savings are on the decrease. Stage 6; The income of husband and housewife are on the remarkable decrease but the children's income is on the increase. Stage 7; Owing to the increase of the children's income and the income from property, the total income is on the highest level in the stages of family life cycle. 3) Considering the effect of socio-anthropological variables on the conditions of household-economy, family system has an significant effect on children's income. the husband's occupation exerts a significant effect upon the housewife's and children's income. The husband's schooling exercises an effect upon the children's income. S.E.S has a important effect on the income of husband, housewife and children. • This paper estimated the demand function of the cuts of pork by using the consumer panel and the weather data from the Korea Meteorological Administration with a log-log model and AIDS model. The results show that the price elasticity of demand for cuts of pork is high in the sequence of arm shoulder, leg, special cuts, tenderloin, blade shoulder. In contrast, spare rib, belly and loin are classified as low price elasticity of demand. The income elasticities of demand for leg and blade shoulder are 11% and 7.6% respectively. The loin is classified as inferior goods, because demand decreases when income increases. The results also demonstrate show that the demand increases highly in the sequence of loin, arm shoulder, spare rib, belly if housewife is older, and the demand of belly increases when family number increases. Belly substitutes every cut except spare rib, and tenderloin substitutes special cuts. Spare rib, on the other hand, does not substitute other cuts. In addition, job status, family member, husband job, purchasing place, consumer characteristic, eating-out times, purchasing time, and weather are statistically significant.
