20nm이하 FinFET의 크기변화에 따른 서브문턱스윙분석 (Analysis of Dimension Dependent Subthreshold Swing for FinFET Under 20nm)

  • 본 연구에서는 20m이하 채널길이를 가진 FinFET에 대하여 문턱 전압이 하에서 서브문턱 스윙을 분석하였다. 분석을 위하여 분석 학적 전류모델을 개발하였으며 열방사 전류 및 터 널링 전류를 포함하였다. 열방사전류는 포아슨 방정식에 의하여 구한 포텐셜분포 및 맥스월-볼쯔만통계를 이용한 캐리어분포를 이용하여 구하였으며 터널링전류는 WKB(Wentzel-Kramers-Brillouin) 근사를 이용하였다. 이 두 모델은 상호 독립적이므로 각각 전류를 구해 더 함으로써 차단전류를 구하였다. 본 연구에서 제시한 모델을 이용하여 구한 서브문턱스윙 값이 이차원시뮬레이션 값과 비교되었으며 잘 일치함을 알 수 있었다. 분석 결과 10nm이하에서 특히 터널링의 영향이 증가하여 서브문턱스윙특성이 매우 저하됨을 알 수 있었다. 이러한 단채널현상을 감소시키기 위하여 채널두께 및 게이트산화막의 두께를 가능한 한 얇게 제작하여 야함을 알았으며 이를 위한 산화공정 개발이 중요하다고 사료된다. 또한 채널도핑 변화에 따른 서브문턱 스윙 값을 구하였으며 저도핑영역에서 일정한 값을 가지는 것을 알 수 있었다.

골프스윙 3분절 시스템의 Joint Torque의 산출 (A Calculation of Joint Torque for Triple Segmental System in Golf Swing)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the joint torque of triple segmental system in golf driver swing. For this purpose, joint torque were calculated. In order to determine the load on the lumbar region, a triple segmental system was set for wrist, left shoulder and lumbar, torque working on the lumbar region were estimated. For this study, a total of 7 professional golfers were sampled, and then, their driver swings were recorded with two high-speed digital video cameras (180 frames/sec.) to be synthesized into 3-dimensional images and coordinated. Then, Eular's equation was used to produce some kinematic data, which were used to calculate joint torque with Newton's function. All data were calculated using LabVIEW 6.1 graphic program. The results of this study can be summarized as follows; It was found that the joint torque was generated in the direction opposite the target on wrist and shoulder during down swing, while in the direction towards the target on the lumbar region. During impact and release, the torque on the wrist joint was converted from the direction opposite the target to the direction towards the target, while the torque on the lumbar region was generated vice versa. The joints on the club-arm-shoulder were generated in the opposite direction at the beginning of down swing when the torque on the thorax-pelvis began to be generated, and then, the torque on the thorax-pelvis began to lower, while that on the club-arm-shoulder began to increase. Thus, a rapid decrease of the torque on the lumbar region linked to the low trunk acted to increase moment and joint torque on the arm-club region.

  • 본 연구에서는 Isobutyl Acetate와 Isobutyl Alcohol의 공비혼합물을 압력변환증류공정(PSD; Pressure Swing Distillation Process)을 이용하여 99.9 mol% 이상의 Isobutyl Acetate를 분리하는 공정모사를 수행하였다. 압력변환증류공정은 공비혼합물의 상대휘발도와 공비조성이 압력의 변화에 따라 차이가 나는 특성을 이용한 공정이다. 액상에서는 Non-Random Two Liquid (NRTL) model을 그리고 기상에서는 Peng-Robinson equation을 이용하였다. 최적화 방법으로 환류비와 주입단 위치를 변수로 두고 총 재비기 소요 열량을 최소화시키는 목적으로 최적화를 수행하였다. 압력변환 증류공정은 두 개의 증류탑을 필요로 함에 따라 고압 증류탑과 저압 증류탑의 배열에 따른 최적화 조건 또한 비교를 수행하였다.

  • 본 논문에서는 UWB PLL charge pump 의 충/방전 전류오차를 최소화하기 위한 회로를 제안하였다. Common-gate 와 Common-source 증폭기를 추가한 피드백 전압 조정기를 구성하여 높은 응답성을 가지는 charge pump를 설계하였다. 제안한 회로는 넓은 동작 영역을 갖으며, 낮은 전원 전압으로도 뛰어난 성능을 보인다. 본 회로는 1.2V 공급 전압과 IBM 0.13um CMOS 공정으로 집적되었다. 설계의 효율성을 평가하기 위해 참고 논문의 다른 회로와 성능을 대조하였다.

컨테이너 크레인의 흔들림 억제 제어기 설계 (A Design of Anti-sway Controller for Container Crane)

  • The recent amount of container freight continuously has been increased, but the low efficiency of container crane causes jamming frequently in transportation and cargo handling at port. It is required that the working velocity and safety are improved by control of moving the trolley as quick as possible without large overshoot and any residual swing motion of container at the destination. In this paper, a LQ Fuzzy controller for a container crane is proposed to accomplish an optimal design of improved control system for minimizing the swing motion at destination. In this scheme a mathematical model for the system is obtained in state space form. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed controller is verified through computer simulation.

  • This paper presents the design of a lab-built powered knee prosthesis based on a BLDC motor, a sensored impedance control using a force sensor, and a sensorless impedance control through torque estimation. Firstly, we describe the structure of the lab-built powered knee prosthesis and its limitations. Secondly, we decompose the gait cycle into five stages and apply the position-based impedance control for the powered knee prosthesis. Thirdly, we perform an experiment for the torque estimation and the sensorless impedance control of the prosthesis. The experimental results show that we can use the torque estimation to control the low impedance during the swing phase, although the estimated torque data has a delay compared with the measured torque by a load cell.

트럭 캡 틸팅 시스템의 성능 향상을 위한 전용 제어 밸브의 개발 (The Development of Exclusive Control Valve for Improving the Performance of Truck Cab Tilting System)

  • In this paper, the development of exclusive control valve for improving the performance of truck cab tilting system is discussed. Cab tilting system is implemented to the heavy truck for the convenience of driver. However when tilting up or down, sudden swing of cab has brought discredit on user. To improve this phenomena it is inevitable to use counter balance valve. But because of high pressure and low flow characteristic, general counter balance valve is unsuitable to cab tilting system. Therefore, this paper presents the developments of exclusive return pressure control valve which prevents sudden swing of cab and verify the validity of design through the computer simulation.

저 전력 MOS 전류모드 논리회로 설계 (Design of a Low-Power MOS Current-Mode Logic Circuit)

  • 본 논문에서는 저 전압 스윙 기술을 적용하여 저 전력 회로를 구현하고, 슬립 트랜지스터 (sleep-transistor)를 이용하여 누설전류를 최소화하는 새로운 저 전력 MOS 전류모드 논리회로 (MOS current-mode logic circuit)를 제안하였다. 제안한 회로는 저 전압 스윙 기술을 적용하여 저 전력 특성을 갖도록 설계하였고 고 문턱전압 PMOS 트랜지스터 (high-threshold voltage PMOS transistor)를 슬립 트랜지스터로 사용하여 누설전류를 최소화하였다. 제안한 회로는 $16\;{\times}\;16$ 비트 병렬 곱셈기에 적용하여 타당성을 입증하였다. 이 회로는 슬립모드에서 기존 MOS 전류 모드 논리회로 구조에 비해 대기전력소모가 1/104로 감소하였으며, 정상 동작모드에서 11.7 %의 전력소모 감소효과가 있었으며 전력소모와 지연시간의 곱에서 15.1 %의 성능향상이 있었다. 이 회로는 삼성 $0.18\;{\mu}m$ CMOS 공정을 이용하여 설계하였으며, HSPICE를 통하여 검증하였다.

  • In this study, the design of advanced LVDS(Low Voltage Differential Signaling) I/O interface circuit with new structural low triggering ESD (Electro-Static Discharge) protection circuit was investigated. Due to the differential transmission technique and low signal swing range, maximum transmission data ratio of designed LVDS transmitter was simulated to 5Gbps. And Zener Triggered SCR devices to protect the ESD Phenomenon were designed. This structure reduces the trigger voltage by making the zener junction between the lateral PNP and base of lateral NPN in SCR structure. The triggering voltage was simulated to 5.8V. Finally, The high speed I/O interface circuit with the low triggered ESD protection device in one-chip was designed.
