  • The purpose of this study taken interest in recent, is a development of the sportswear style fashion design and provision of aid for making a marketing strategy and reasonable purchasing for customer's. Results of this study can be summarized as follows : As baseball boom is revived due to Park, Chan-ho's nice pitching, baseballcap and hood-shirt that printed each team's logo have an effect on mass fashion style. Clothes of mountain c1imbingwear style can personal free coordination, because they are little change of fashion, customers are constantly purchase them. As contemporary women are increase about interest on beauty, leggins and bra-top that aerobic clothes are scoordinated various type and included practice style. Snowboard style is coincide with Hip-hop look that loose fitting style pursues free style, it becomes more popular fashion with street fashion. Golfwear taking root in townwear of the 40, 50 women.

니트 자카드와 인타샤의 패턴 유형 분석 -2013F/W~2022F/W 4대 패션컬렉션을 중심으로- (An Analysis of Pattern Types of Knitted Jacquard and Intarsia -Focused on Four Fashion Collections from 2013F/W to 2022F/W-)

  • This study aims to analyze the patterns made with knitted jacquard and intarsia techniques to provide essential data to help plan different knitwear designs using the techniques and patterns. Based on approximately 3,000 jacquard and intarsia knitwear published in the four significant womenswear collections over the past decade, eight main pattern types were classified, and each characteristic was analyzed. Firstly, it is a logo and symbol type pattern that appears mainly as a means of emphasizing a brand. Secondly, it is a traditional pattern with settled patterns from the past to the present. Third, it is a geometric pattern that appears both typically and atypically in various forms. Fourth, an abstract pattern type does not show a precise form or motif. Fifth, it is a colorful and diverse flower and plant pattern. Sixth, it is a landscape pattern that expresses nature and living space. Seventhly, it is an animal pattern type that expresses the appearance of an animal or the shape of the. Finally, it is a caricature pattern type using characters and various cartoonish motifs. Based on the analysis results of this study, creative and diverse design development of Jacquard and Intarsia knitwear and development of the knitwear market will take place.

  • In order to reduce the lead-time and cost, the technology of rapid prototyping (RP) has been widely used. However, RP technologies have disadvantageous characteristics according to their working principle: low building speed, high cost for introduction and maintenance of RP apparatus, stair-stepped surface and additional post processing. A new rapid prototyping process, as a transfer type of Variable Lamination Manufacturing by using expandable polystyrene room (VLM-ST), has been developed to reduce building lime. apparatus cost including the introduction and the maintenance and additional post-processing. The objective of this study is to propose a VLM-ST process and to develop an apparatus for implementation of the process. Design criteria of the apparatus are defined and the techniques arc proposed to satisfy the design criterion. In order to examine the efficiency and applicability of the developed process, various three-dimensional shapes, such as a world-cup logo. a knob shape, an extruded cross, a twisted shape, a character, Son-o-kong. a helical gear shaped and a scissor shape are fabricated on the apparatus in which unit shape layer (USL) was generated to build up each layer.

광고 크리에이티브로서의 '부재 (absence)' 의 의미작용에 관한 연구 (The significations of 'The absence' as an advertising creative)

  • It is not easy to get more attention as a prominent advertising expression among various types of numerous advertisements. Due to the voluminous expansion of advertising communications and the change of the media, new advertising creatives must be needed for serving to differentiate the message , inviting audiences to participate more positively in advertising communications This thesis aims at reviewing the absence as an advertising creative. And this thesis is about the significations of the absence. Chapter I describes the aim of this thesis about the absence as an advertising creative And Chapter II introduces the general concept, perception of the absence and its possibilities as an advertising creative And also mentions about the absence as one of paradoxical expressions with rhetorical theories as well as semiotics. Chapter III deals with the signification of the absence with introducing semiotic methods such as the theory of R. Barthes Chapter IV discusses the signification of the absence as an advertising creative talking into consideration of semiotic theories. And I categorize the types of the absence in advertising expressions. The absence is categorized into 5 types in this thesis. Type (1) is the absence of product which is supposed to be advertised, type (2) is the absence of product and make product image located out of main image of an advertising expression for introducing features of a product itself. And type (3) is the absence of the imaginary audience to invite an audience to participate more spontaneously. Type (4) is the absence of headlines, and type (5) is the absence of almost all visual images and verbal message but a corporate symbol or brand logo. The signification of S types of the absence can be described on the basic of semiotic theories, especially the theory of R. Barthes. It's my hope that this thesis about the absence as an advertising creative will serve as the basic theory for the empirical research about advertising expressions containing images of the absence.

포장디자인의 변화가 소비자 구매행동에 미치는 영향 - 자연조미료 포장디자인을 중심으로 - (An Influence on the Change of Consumer Purchase Behavior by Package Design - Focusing on the Natural Flavor Packaging Design -)

  • 제품에 대한 소비자의 구매충성도는 구매시점의 새로운 자극에 노출되는 순간 변화할 수 있으며 이 시점에서 타제품과 시각적으로 차별되고 심미적으로 아름답게 제작되어 소비자의 시선을 유도할 수 있는 포장디자인이 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 조미료 포장디자인의 실질적구매자로 판단되는 29세부터 34세까지 평균 31.65세의 기존 조미료의 경험과 새롭게 출시된 조미료 포장디자인에 대한 소비자 인지를 알아보기 위하여 조미료 포장디자인에 대한 디자인분석을 실시하고 설문조사 하였다. 소비자는 기존 조미료 포장디자인에 대하여 비교적 특색이 없다고 하였으며 기존 서체를 재 디자인 로고타입보다 캘리그라피 로고타입에 대하여 '상징성'은 좋은 평가를 보였으나 '가독성'은 낮다고 응답했다. 또한 새롭게 출시된 두 조미료 포장디자인에 대하여 '맛선생'을 '산들애'에 보다 '안전성', '품질보전성', '전시성' 요소를 높게 평가하고 요소들 중 '안전성'을 조미료제품의 구매 욕구를 일으킬 수 있는 요소로 꼽았다.

국내 커피전문점의 유니폼 디자인 분석 (An Analysis of Uniform Design about Domestic Coffee Houses)

  • The purpose of this study is to find the differences among the clothing brands through examination of present situation about uniform design in domestic coffee houses and provide the basic materials in developing uniform designs to reflect the brand identity. For research contents and method, the overall circumstances were examined about the domestic coffee houses and their uniforms at large via literature review. Then, characteristics on their 10 uniform designs were reviewed according to item, color, pattern and accessary. The following are results. First, cardigan, cap, and necktie according to the individual brand are added with basis of shirt and apron in composition of coffeehouse's uniform. Second, in cardigan, those colors including black, navy and brown are used, reminding of the coffee. Brand logo or symbol is also presented on it, which addresses the brand image. Third, the kind of shirt consists mainly with long or short shirt blouse and long sleeve or short sleeve pique shirt. Job title or gender differentiates the shape and color. Fourth, one-piece type is commonly applied for the apron. At the same time, a short skirt is put on as well. An image expression is often found by the unique brand color also, but mostly, some dark tones like brown or black are largely used. Fifth, in cap, various kinds are worn including the cap as in the case of baseball, fedora, beret, and hunting cap. In color, black or brown color same to that of apron is common, which fails to show differentiation. Thus, consideration of color remix with application of brand symbol is thought to be an alternative to this.

현대 패션에 나타난 캘리그라피의 표현유형 및 의의 (The Types of Expression and Meanings of Calligraphy Appearing in Modern Fashion)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the types and meanings of calligraphy presented in modern fashion design. Calligraphy refers to beautiful handwriting or fine penmanship in the West, and handwriting with brushstrokes in the East. The expression patterns being used at present can be divided into three categories. Legible calligraphy is focused on readability more than embellishment. Decorative calligraphy places its importance on decoration at the expense of practicality. The third type, harmonious calligraphy, pursues decorativeness and legibility at the same time. Each of these types of calligraphy is expressed in modern fashion with its own purpose: calligraphy for conveying emotional messages, calligraphy as a special brand image, and calligraphy as an expression of formativeness. The first, calligraphy for conveying emotional messages, is used with characters that are familiar to the public. Calligraphy of this type delivers messages confined emotionally to the conscious world, harmonizing calligraphy with words, or expressing readability filled with purity and delight. Second, calligraphy as a special brand image refers to transmitting a distinctive brand image from other companies through employment of a design motive or pattern by expressing the brand logos or names of designers. Third, calligraphy as a expression of formativeness has the function of shaping expressions as motives or patterns, avoiding meanings of words or phrases. It can be represented by the abbreviation or modification of words, or arranging words in different shapes, harmonizing the words with the clothing construction and atmosphere of the other images.

국내 신용카드디자인요소가 신용카드 선택에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 -전업주부 30, 40대를 중심으로- (The Study on the Influence of Domestic Credit Card Design Elements on Credit Card Selection -Focusing on 30, 40 Housewives-)

  • 신용카드 소지자들은 카드결제수단용을 넘어 본인을 나타내는 심리가 높아지고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 30, 40대 전업주부가 신용카드를 발급할 때 어떤 디자인 요소가 영향을 미치는지 알아보는 것이 목적이다. 신용카드를 사용하는 고객 중 연구 대상자를 서울과 수도권에 거주하는 30, 40대 주부 총 200명을 선정하여 국내 신용카드가 가지고 있는 디자인요소가 신용카드 선택에 어떤 영향을 미치는지 카드사 자료와 참고문헌, 선행연구를 토대로 설문지를 작성하여 설문조사를 하였다. 설문조사 결과 신용카드 디자인 요소 중 색상은 무채색 계열과 메인 이미지는 이미지나, 로고를 강조하지 않고 컬러로만 사용한 단순한 디자인을 가장 선호했고 다음으로 캐릭터형을 선호한 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 카드 장식은 없는 것을 선호하며, 금속 느낌의 카드 재질을 가장 선호하는 것을 알 수 있었다. 이를 통해 카드사에서 30, 40대 주부를 대상으로 하는 디자인 개발 시 방향을 제시하고자 한다.
