물류기업의 RFID 도입 요인과 물류성과의 관계 연구 (A Study on RFID Adoption and Logistics Performance in Logistics Company)

  • 물류분야에서 RFID 기술의 응용이 확산되면서 RFID 도입 요인과 물류성과와의 관계를 분석할 필요가 있다. 기존 여러 분야의 선행연구를 통하여 RFID 도입이나 채택에 영향을 미치는 요인을 도출하고, 물류기업을 대상으로 이러한 요인이 물류성과에 미치는 영향을 실증적으로 분석하고, 그에 대한 시사점을 제시하고자 하였다. 관련 선행연구에서 물류기업이 RFID를 도입하는데 있어 CEO 지원, 기술 우위성, 거래 파트너, 상호 양립성 및 상대적 이익과 같은 요인이 물류성과에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. SCM, 물류 및 유통, 제조분야를 대상으로 한 선행연구를 기초로 연구모형 및 가설을 설정하고, 물류기업 종사자를 대상으로 RFID 도입 요인이 물류성과에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 설문조사를 실시하였으며, 탐색적 요인분석, 신뢰성 분석, 확인적 요인분석 및 구조방정식모형 분석을 통해 가설을 검증하였다. 연구 결과, CEO 지원과 거래 파트너의 RFID 도입 요인은 물류성과에 유의한 정(+)의 영향을 미쳤으며, 상호 양립성과 상대적 이익은 유의한 영향을 미치지 못하였다. 기술 우위성은 물류성과에 통계적으로 유의한 영향을 미치지 못하는 것으로 나타났으나 p=0.052라는 것을 고려할 때, 물류성과에 유의한 영향을 미칠 수 있을 것으로 사료되며, 유의수준 0.1에서는 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

  • 국내 대기업 물류회사(2자 물류기업)의 물류시장 대거 잠식으로 국내 물류시장의 3자 물류 비중은 약 30% 수준으로 매년 축소되고 있다. DP, DHL 등 글로벌 3자 물류기업은 글로벌 물류시장 장악력을 강화하고 있는 반면 국내 중, 소규모의 3자 물류 기업은 성장의 한계에 부딪혀 세계 물류시장에서 차지하는 비중은 극히 미미하다. 다행스럽게도 새 정부의 중소기업 육성 강화정책과 UN의 아시아지역, 개도국 공급선 확대 추세는 아주 긍정적인 환경이라고 할 수 있다. 이러한 때에 국내 중소 물류기업이 유엔 조달 물류시장에서 글로벌 네트워크를 가진 유럽, 미국계 기업들과 경쟁하여 입찰에 성공할 수 있게 도움을 주기 위하여 운송사례 연구와 SWOT 분석으로 국내외 물류환경 여건을 분석하여 세부적인 산학협력방안 및 정부의 지원 방안을 제안하고자 한다.

PPS도입에 의한 "제지업계" 물류비 절감에 대한 연구 (A Study on the Reduction of Logistics Cost in the Paper Industry Using PPS)

  • The logistics cost in Korea is very higher than that of the other countries. Thus, we propose to the way to reduce company's logistics cost in the paper industry. Each company in the paper industry is having its particular sized pallets and using them to manufactured products, store, deliver, retrieve empty pallet and so on. In this reason, the logistics cost is still increasing. As the common introduction of Pallet Pool System to "Paper Industry", the logistics cost could be reduced up to 24% and 1.8 billion won saved approximately, and it possibly attributes to the increase of company profit and the strength of the company competitiveness.itiveness.

제3자물류업체의 택배사 선호에 관한 연구 (The Third-Party Logistics Provider's Preference on Home Delivery Company)

  • Third Party Logistics (TPL) providers offer outsourced logistics services to companies for part or sometimes all of their supply chain management. Although TPL market is increasing rapidly and drawing much attention from various aspects, it is not easy to find the researches dealing with relations between TPL providers and home delivery companies dealing with small-sized cargo. This study focused on service dimensions which TPL providers consider when they choose a home delivery company. In this paper, we found five factors of service dimensions including delivery charge, logistics management shills, partnership, and then investigated which dimensions affect TPL providers' preference. In addition, we showed that the logistics management skills are more important than the delivery charge which has commonly been considered the most important factor. This study offers managerial insights on TPL providers' prefer once which we can hardly find in theoretical and practical perspective.

녹색물류기업 인증이 녹색물류성과에 미치는 영향 (The Influences of Certification of Green Logistics Company on Performance)

  • 본 연구는 물류기업을 대상으로 녹색물류기업 인증이 녹색물류성과에 미치는 영향을 실증적으로 분석하고, 그에 대한 시사점을 제시하고자 하였다. 녹색물류와 관련된 선행연구를 통해 물류성과, 환경성과, 자원성과 및 기업성과와 같은 성과 변수를 도출하고, 녹색물류기업 인증 기준과의 영향관계를 분석하였다. 물류기업 종사자를 대상으로 녹색물류기업 인증과 녹색물류성과의 관계에 대하여 설문조사를 실시하고, 탐색적 요인분석, 신뢰성분석 및 확인적 요인분석을 실시하였으며, 가설검증을 위해 구조방정식 모형분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과, 녹색물류 목표관리는 물류성과와 환경성과에 유의한 영향을 미쳤으며, 물류에너지 및 온실가스 산정은 물류성과, 환경성과 및 자원성과에 유의한 영향을 미쳤고, 녹색물류 효과관리는 기업성과에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 분석되었다. 그러나 녹색물류 전환사업은 녹색물류성과라고 할 수 있는 물류성과, 환경성과, 자원성과 및 기업성과에 유의한 영향을 미치지 못하였다.

Promotional Plans of Fourth-Party Logistics in Korea: Applicability in Entering the Chinese Logistics Market

  • Purpose - This study aims to disclose the problems of both the government and the logistics industry regarding fourth-party logistics, and to provide various solutions at the level of enterprises as well as the government for the introduction of fourth-party logistics in China. Research design, data, and methodology - This study aims to reveal how a shipping company recognizes the creation of partnerships with fourth-party logistics providers, and it reveals several related implications. Results - Fourth-party logistics organizations can be used to achieve maximum business performance as professional logistics companies by incorporating the benefits of outsourcing and insourcing. Outsourcing logistics services through focusing on core competencies and improving customer service can have financial effects and advantages such as the simplification of labor issues. Conclusions - This study did not investigate Korean enterprises through an empirical analysis and provided fourth-party logistics concepts and promotional plans according to domestic and foreign literature. Further studies shall investigate not only the Korean fourth-party logistics model but also the training of logistics professionals to generate profits for both shippers as well as logistics enterprises.

국내물류기기 표준화가 기업성과에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (The Effects of Logistics Equipments Standardization on Business Performance)

  • I think that there are few domestic enterprises that recognize standardization of logistics equipments is necessary, which causes a lot of waste in costs and also reduces their business competitiveness. The purpose of this paper is to make the companies be aware of this situation, to exactly analyze where the Korean logistics equipments status are, and further to provide practical directions of methods and activities for effective standardization. Through analysis in the study, there were some findings, as listed below. First, the standardization level of each company varies depending on its own corporate characteristics. Second, if a company adopted standardization process in logistics equipments, it would accelerate process of work efficiency or productivity. Third, when logistics equipment are standardized, it would boost efficiency in storage utilization. Fourth, the delivery services through this standardized logistics would be implemented at a higher speed than before due to the accelerated flow of materials. According to the above findings, it is confirmed that logistics standardization would greatly affect on business performance positively. For the domestic manufactures to facilitate logistics system more easily, as an easiest way, it is required to build logistics standardization teams and surveys. Then afterwards, to achieve it earlier than expected, the company-wide education and training for workers have to be followed to let them be aware of necessity and inevitability about standardized logistics.

A Study on the Entry of Korean Shipping & Logistics Company into the Offshore Plant Logistics Service Market

  • Korea is worldwide top manufacturer of offshore plant industry, while shown weakness in high-valued offshore plant service industry (OPSI). The governmental support policies and studies for fostering programs are centered on shipbuilding and engineering sector. On the other hand, offshore logistics service sector among the programs is neither included as governmental fostering support sectors nor ever-studied. Domestic shipping and logistics companies have many experience of handling various project, heavy-lift cargo and even super blocks on shipbuilding industry. However they are faced with lack of appropriate heavy carrier and others. So for their successful entering into offshore plant logistics market, systematic preparation, studies and supporting policies are highly recommended.
