인터넷뱅킹시스템이 은행의 경영성과에 미치는 영향에 대한 분석 (An Analysis of the Impact of Internet Banking Systems on the Business Performance of Bank)

  • This study investigates the impact of Internet Banking Systems on the business performance of bank. Although Internet Banking Systems were introduced about 15 years ago in Korea, there were few studies which evidenced the relationship between Internet Banking Systems and the performance of banks. For this empirical investigation, this study collected the panel data of 13 domestic banks over 8.5 years and divided the dataset into two parts-the first half period (2003~2007) and the second half period (2008~2011) in order to examine the dynamic changes in the impact of Internet Banking Systems. The fixed-effects panel regression results were different in the two parts of dataset. Internet Banking Systems showed only cost-efficiency impact in the first half period. However, in the second half period, Internet Banking Systems showed positive impact on the bank profitability. Moreover, the dummy variable regarding local bank showed no additional impact on this result, implying that the impact of Internet Banking Systems was still significant for the local banks. The results will deliver managerial interpretation on the value of Internet Banking Systems and additional implication on the strategic planning of Internet Banking Systems for many domestic banks.

지방자치단체 환경영향평가 조례 현황 분석과 협의 지침서 작성 방안 - 인천광역시 사례를 중심으로 - (Analysis of Local Government Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Ordinances and Preparation of Consultation Guidelinesfor EIA - A Case of Incheon Metropolitan City -)

  • 우리나라의 일정 규모 이상의 지방자치단체는 「환경영향평가법」 제42조에 따라 필요 시 지역 특성을 고려한 환경영향평가를 실시할 수 있다. 그러나, 다수의 지방자치단체에서 자체 환경영향평가 운영실적은 미미한 것으로 조사되었다. 이러한 문제점을 개선하기 위해서는 지방자치단체별로 상이하게 갖춰져 있는 조례 및 지침 등의 현황을 비교하여 해당 지방자치단체에 필요한 제도적 사안들을 파악할 필요가 있다. 또한, 지방자치단체 환경영향평가 절차에 대한 상세 규정 및 안내를 협의 절차 지침서(가이드 라인)에 담아 관련 정보를 제공할 필요가 있다. 본 연구에서는 인천광역시의 사례를 중심으로 하여, 여건이 비슷한 광역시·도별 지방자치단체 환경영향평가 조례 현황을 조사하고 대상사업의 종류 및 범위를 비교 분석하였다. 아울러 협의 가이드라인을 작성하고 그 과정에서 도출된 절차 흐름 및 일정 표기에 대한 개선 사항들을 제시하였다. 인천광역시의 경우 환경영향평가 조례 시행규칙 및 사후관리에 관한 세부 조항이 없어 이 부분에 대한 제도 보강이 필요한 상태였다. 그리고, 지역 환경 및 지리 여건을 고려하였을 때, 항만 건설사업, 수자원 개발사업, 철도건설사업, 국방 및 군사시설의 설치사업 등의 사업 유형에 대한 대상사업 추가 검토도 필요할 것으로 사료되었다. 인천광역시는 지방자치단체 환경영향평가 협의 업무의 실용성과 효과성 확보를 위해 협의 가이드라인 초안을 작성하였고, 그 과정에서 파악된 절차 흐름 및 일정 표기에 관한 개선 사항들을 제시하였다. 본 연구의 결과물은 지방자치단체 환경영향평가 제도를 정비하고 구체적인 절차 지침을 마련하여 운영의 효과성을 증진시키고자 하는 지방 정부에 유용한 정보를 제공할 것이다.

여유자유도 로보트 충격제어 (Control of Redundant Manipulators Using Null-Space Dynamics)

  • This paper presents an impact control algorithm for reducing the potentially damaging effects by interation of redundant manipulators with their environments. In the proposed control algorithm, the redundancy is resolved at the torque level by locally minimizing joint torque, subject to the operational space dynamic formulation which maps the joint torque set into the operational forces. For a given pre-impact velocity of the manipulator, the proposed approach is on generating joint space trajectories throughout the motion near the contact which instantaneously minimize the impulsive force which is a scalar function of manipulator's configurations. The comparative evaluation of the proposed algorithm with a local torque optimization algorithm with a local torque optimization algorithm without reducing impact is performed by computer simulation. The simulation results illustrate the effectiveness of the algorithm in reducing both the effects of impact and large torque requirements.

Impact of Destination Image and Satisfaction on Tourist Loyalty: Mountain Destinations in Thanh Hoa Province, Vietnam

  • The study aims to assess the impact of destination image, satisfaction and loyalty of tourists at mountain destinations in Thanh Hoa province, Vietnam. The study involves questionnaire surveys and multivariate data analysis methods (Cronbach Alpha test, EFA, CFA, SEM). Research results from 500 tourists in the mountain destinations of Thanh Hoa province demonstrate that all factors have imposed a positive impact on tourist satisfaction, specifically: The most influential factor is Natural features, followed by Human factors while the least influential factor is Infrastructure; On the other hand, research results also demonstrate that satisfaction has a substantial impact on tourist loyalty. Based on the research results, we also proposed some key solutions to enhance the destination image, thereby contributing to increased satisfaction and loyalty of tourists, including: (i) Promoting Natural Tourism Resources. (ii) Raising Awareness of Environmental Protection. (iii) Building Local Cultural Identity. (iv) Building Exclusive Tourist Products. (5) Strengthening the Support of Local Authorities for Tourism Activities. (vi) Developing a Price Policy.

다문화사회가 지역공동체에 미친 영향분석 (Analysis the Multicultural Society Impact on the Local Community)

  • 본 연구는 다문화사회유입이 지역공동체에 미친 영향을 정치(행정) 경제 사회 문화의 네 유형으로 분류하여 유형별 긍정적인 영향과 부정적인 영향으로 분석하여 살펴보았다. 일부 부정적인 평가를 하고 있으나 대부분의 응답자는 다문화사회의 유입이 우리나라 발전에 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤고 향후에도 긍정적인 영향을 미칠 것으로 생각하고 있다. 분석결과 다문화사회가 지역공동체에 미친 가장 긍정적인 영향 분야는 정치(행정), 경제, 사회, 문화의 네 분야 중 문화분야 라고 평가하고 있으며, 반면 가장 부정적인 영향을 미친 분야는 사회분야라고 평가하고 있다. 그 동안 우리는 획일화된 민족주의 문화속에서 살다가 이질적인 외국인주민들이 급속히 증가하면서 서로 간의 가치관 차이와 문화충돌로 인해 갈등이 발생하고 있지만 외국인주민들은 대체적으로 우리 사회에 긍정적인 영향을 미치고 있다. 실질적으로 결혼이민자는 농촌총각의 결혼문제를 해결하여 사회범죄 발생률을 낮추는 효과는 물론 인구감소 현상을 막아주고 있다. 또한 외국인근로자는 우리나라 사람들이 회피하는 3D업종에 낮은 임금으로 취업하여 우리나라 경제발전에 기여하고 있다.

Impact response of steel-concrete composite panels: Experiments and FE analyses

  • A steel-concrete composite (SC) panel typically consists of two steel faceplates and a plain concrete core. This paper investigated the impact response of SC panels through drop hammer tests and numerical simulations. The influence of the drop height, faceplate thickness, and axial compressive preload was studied. Experimental results showed that the deformation of SC panels under impact consists of local indentation and overall bending. The resistance of the panel significantly decreased after the local failure occurred. A three-dimensional finite element model was established to simulate the response of SC panels under low-velocity impact, in which the axial preload could be considered reasonably. The predicted displacements and impact force were in good agreement with the experimental results. Based on the validated model, a parametric study was conducted to further discuss the effect of the axial compressive preload.

지방공무원의 직무스트레스가 구강건강 삶의 질에 미치는 영향 (The effects of occupational stress on oral health impact profile (OHIP) in local government workers)

  • Objectives : This study looked at the relationship between occupational stress and the Oral Health Impact Profile (OHIP), to evaluate the effect of occupational stress-related factors. Methods : Data was obtained from a cross-sectional survey of 260 local officials in Gangwondo. The research comprised three questions relating to subjective oral symptoms, an occupational stress measurement tool and an oral health impact factor which was composed of questions. The data was analysed using t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson correlation and path analysis in Amos. Results : Occupational stress had a positive correlation to drinking frequency, Oral symptoms had a negative correlation. And drinking frequency, smoking amount and occupational stress had a positive correlation to oral symptoms. It denoted that drinking frequency, occupational stress and oral symptoms had a negative correlation to OHIP. The path model had an excellent goodness of fit (p=0.07, namely p>0.05). Five 'goodness-of-fit indices' of the model were all above 0.9: GFI=0.987, AGFI=0.952, NFI=0.902, IFI=0.939, CFI=0.934), and its RMSEA was 0.045. Occupational stress and oral symptoms had a firsthand impact on OHIP. In addition, it affected OHIP through the parameters of oral symptoms. Occupational stress exercised a firsthand influence on drinking frequency, drinking frequency exercised a firsthand influence on smoking amount. Smoking amount had a firsthand impact on oral symptoms. Conclusions: Oral health education programs for the development of an improved oral hygiene environment through reduction in drinking and smoking also need to focus on relieving stress by improving workplace culture. In addition, due to good communication is required to reduce occupational stress caused by interpersonal conflict.

Effect of Brand Popularity in a Foreign Market on Consumer Behavior in a Franchise Cosmetic Retailer's Online Shop

  • Purpose: As consumers have difficulty in brand choice due to excessive information, using brand popularity as an advertising cue (e.g., Sales No. 1, Hit Product) has been getting more attention as an effective curation strategy for decreasing consumers' cognitive efforts. Accordingly, recent studies empirically demonstrate that consumers tend to prefer and choose a brand with a popularity cue and offer a useful information regarding how to use a popularity cue in marketing communication. However, extant research has mainly focused on investigating the impact of "brand popularity in a domestic market" on consumer behaviors. Thus, little is known about the effect of "brand popularity in a foreign market" on local consumers' decision-making process. Given that domestic consumers tend to purchase imported products from overseas countries, it can be meaningful information for global companies. Therefore, this research derives and tests the five hypotheses to examine how local consumers respond to brand popularity in a foreign market as an advertising cue. Specifically, it tests the three hypotheses regarding the direct and indirect effects of brand popularity in a foreign market on risk perception and purchase intention. Then, it tests two additional hypotheses about moderating effects of psychic distance on the relationship between brand popularity and risk perception as well as on the relationship between brand popularity and purchase intention. Seventy participants are exposed to an advertisement for an Indian cosmetic brand using a popularity cue in Indian market and answer the questions about brand evaluation. For data analysis, regression analysis is employed. The findings of this research show that perceived brand popularity lowers local consumers' perceived risk with a foreign brand. However, perceived brand popularity does not have a direct impact on purchase intention while it has an indirect effect through perceived risk. Meanwhile, psychic distance moderates the effect of perceived brand popularity on perceived risk level, but it has no impact on the relationship between brand popularity and purchase intention. This research is one of the first studies that demonstrate the positive impact of brand popularity in a foreign market on a local consumer's purchase decision, and it shows the effect can be moderated by psychic distance.

국부충돌해석에 의한 SC벽체의 국부손상 평가 (Evaluation of Local Damage of SC Wall using Local Collision Simulation)

  • 지금까지 항공기 충돌에 대한 안전성 검토는 국부거동 및 전반거동으로 나뉘어 검토되어 왔으며, 이 중 국부거동의 평가는 RC (Reinforcement Concrete)벽체를 대상으로 실험에 기초하여 제시된 국부손상 평가식을 사용하여 검토되었다. 그러나 최근 적용이 시작된 SC (Steel plate reinforced Concrete)벽체의 항공기 충돌에 대한 국부적인 거동 및 손상을 평가할 수 있는 자료는 거의 없는 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 연성 충격체인 이상화된 항공기 엔진을 대상으로 콘크리트 벽체의 두께 및 강판의 강재비를 변수로 충돌해석을 수행하여 SC벽체 및 RC벽체의 국부손상을 평가하였다. SC벽체 및 RC벽체에 대한 충돌해석결과로부터 국부손상에서 나타나는 관입깊이를 상호 비교분석하였다.

지역 농특산물에 대한 구매의사가 여행자의 재방문 의도에 미치는 영향 - 충남 예산지역을 중심으로 - (The Effects of Local Agricultural/special Products on the Intention for Tourists to Revisit the Yesan Area)

  • Rural tourism is primarily a domestic tourism activity with visitors traveling to non-urban areas. The development of local and regionally denominate food is a way to distinguish agricultural production and to promote rural tourism. Therefore, this study addressed how utilizing regional agricultural products results in increasing the intention of tourists to revisit an area. The purposes of this study were 1) to identify the image and motives for visiting Yesan, 2) to determine the importance of purchasing intention and the regional menu produced from local agricultural/special products, and 3) to identify the impact of purchasing local agricultural/special products and regional menus on the intention to revisit. A total of 202 usable questionnaires were collected at Ducksan Hotsprings and Suduck Temple in Yean area, which are known tourist attractions. The major findings obtained were as follows: First, Yesan was considered a relaxing place ($3.46{\pm}1.09$), which was the highest ranked image score for a tourist attraction. Second, the highest ranked motive for visiting Yesan was to rest ($3.77{\pm}1.18$). According to these findings, Yesan is a relaxing place, as it is a rural area with no known defined attractions. Third, most tourists (78.7%) recognized the apple as a local agricultural/special product. The intentions to purchase local agricultural/special products and the need for regional dishes in the local restaurant was higher than average. Tourists showed interests ($3.88{\pm}1.16$) in eating regional dishes made with local agricultural/special products at the restaurants. Fourth, a significant impact of purchasing local agricultural/special products and the regional menu was observed on the intention to revisit (p<0.000). The results indicate that it is very important to develop proper regional menus that concur with images of the location and the regional farming products.
