It is being used as a space for demonstration projects for urban air transportation (UAM), which has recently been attracting attention, and various efforts are being made at the local level to strengthen cultural and tourism functions and revitalize local food. This study examined the perception and trends of tourism consumers on the Gyeongin Ara Waterway before and after the outbreak of COVID-19. The research method utilized semantic network analysis based on social network analysis. As a result of the study, first, before the outbreak of COVID-19, key words such as bicycle, Han River, riding, Gimpo, Seoul, hotel, cruise ship, Korea Water Resources Corporation, emotion, West Sea, weekend, and travel showed a high frequency of appearance. After the outbreak of COVID-19, keywords such as cafe, discovery, women, Gimpo, restaurant, bakery, observatory, La Mer, and cruise ship showed a high frequency of appearance. Second, the results of the degree centrality analysis showed that before the outbreak of COVID-19, there was increased interest in accommodations for tourism, such as Marina Bay and hotels. After the outbreak of COVID-19, interest in food such as specific bakeries and cafes such as La Mer was found to be high. Third, due to the CONCOR analysis, five keyword clusters were formed before the outbreak of COVID-19, and the number of keyword clusters increased to eight after the outbreak of COVID-19.

  • The purpose of this research was to investigate and analyse how Community Forest Initiatives as urban fringe management initiatives made alliances with a variety of interest groups, enrol them in the urban fringe management processes using the Actor Network Theory. The Thames Chase Community Forest Initiative was selected and its area of operation included a $97 km^2$ area of green-belt area in East London. It was a instrument far improving and protecting the unique characteristics of the countryside landscape from urban developments as well as evaluating the impact of forestry inclusion in land use planning in the urban fringe. It was operated through a tiered structure comprising the Thames Chase Joint Committee and the management team. They employed a variety of devices to speak with one voice to bring about an effective operation process and to secure the enrolment of a variety of interest groups in its operational processes. Of note, the initiative's actor network impacted on improvement to and management of the countryside landscape despite not owning any land itself. As a result, when urban fringe management initiatives will be launched in South Korea to achieve a more effective and efficient urban fringe management, local councillors and representatives from public and non-government bodies should be more responsive to local communities' views and needs and work more vigorously on their behalf through lobbying, seeking media support, and so on. Moreover, better understanding and communication between local authorities' officers and management initiatives' teams are essential to avoid duplication of work practice.

  • Korea government has established 67 agri-food clusters for 10 years. In recent years, the criticism of this policy has significantly increased due to trials and errors. The purpose of this study is to suggest some policy implications for the focal firm and governance mechanism through the case study of Muan Loess Sweet Potato Cluster. The concept of netchain was used as an analysis framework. Muan Loess Sweet Potato Cluster doesn't operate an integrated production organization and focal firm doesn't exercise its influence as well. The cluster agency, focal firm of Cluster, is important for a Agri-food Cluster to grow continuously. it must have a great influence on organizing networks and an enough capacity for forming coordination mechanism. Also, Local governments must actively be involved in the network formation and coordination and inform the vision and plan for development.

  • Modern small farms are important link components in the structure of the world agro-industrial complex. It ensures the food and nutritional sustainability of the country exclusively at the local regional level. The purpose of the research is to examine the role of farming in ensuring nutritional security and food stability based on the analysis of the Food Sustainability Index (FSI). Research methods: modeling, abstraction, analogy, analysis, synthesis, formalization, logical abstraction, theoretical cognition, systematization and classification, abstract-logical, etc. Results. Having analyzed the Food Sustainability Index for 2018, it has been established that there is a lack of a clear relationship between the pace of economic development and the level of food and nutritional sustainability. In addition, this study has identified the countries with the largest number of small farms, as well as the number of farms within the region. The correlation between the size of the farm and the area of agricultural land that it cultivates has been determined. The problems faced by small farms in the process of their activity have been analyzed. The programs implemented in the field of agro-industrial complex development by international profile institutions have been systematized. Particularly, the regional structure of agricultural development programs under the guidance of IFAD is defined, as well as the areas to which they are directed. Specific measures taken by governments to stimulate the development of small farms have been outlined. Reasonable conclusions have been formed based on the study. The direction of future research is seen in the assessment of the export potential of small farms in terms of range, volume of export deliveries and geographical direction of movement of their products.

  • This study examines the millennial generation, who express themselves and share information on social media after experiencing constantly changing 'hot places' (places of interest) in contemporary cities, with the goal of analyzing space consumption behaviors. Data were collected via an Instagram crawler application developed with Python 3.4 administered to 19,262 posts using the term 'hot places' from November 1 and December 15, 2019. Issues were derived from a text mining technique using Textom 2.0; in addition, semantic network analysis using Ucinet6 and the NetDraw program were also conducted. The results are as follows. First, a frequency analysis of keywords for hot places indicated words frequently found in nouns were related to food, local names, SNS and timing. Words related to positive emotions felt in experience, and words related to behavior in hot places appeared in predicate. Based on importance, communication is the most important keyword and influenced all issues. Second, the results of visualization of semantic network analysis revealed four categories in the scope of the definition of "hot place": (1) culinary exploration, (2) atmosphere of cafés, (3) happy daily life of 'me' expressed in images, (4) emotional photos.

  • This paper aims to explore the innovation milieu of red-pepper agro-industry in Bonghwa County, in the northern part of Gyeongbuk Province, and suggest policy recommendations for bringing up local agro-industry from a cluster perspective. It turns out that the capabilities of Bonghwa red-pepper agro-industry to innovate are remarkably weak let alone soft infrastructures such as learning networks between innovation agents and social capital. In this sense Bonghwa red-pepper agro-industry can be viewed as an agricultural area simply specialized in production sector rather than a kind of agro-industry cluster. For moving up Bonghwa red pepper industry into an innovative cluster, the paper suggests that the policy makers need to focus on cultivating local learning communities, building a region-wide incorporated brand, promoting the local agricultural technology centre as a network hub of cluster and fostering the functional links between universities and local innovation agents, covering farmers, agricultural organizations, agro-food producers and the local government.

  • This study investigated the intellectual structure of the latest trends in Korean addiction research in the social sciences. A network analysis of keywords with co-word occurrence was performed on 172 papers from the KCI database based on the data from the year of 2019, and a total of 432 keywords were extracted. The network analysis was performed using several programs: Bibexcel, COOC, WNET, and NodeXL. As a result of the study, keywords related to addiction type, study subjects, research methods, and research variables were found, and a total of 20 clusters were identified. Furthermore, to identify and measure weighted networks, the relationships between each keyword were explored and discussed in detail through a network analysis of global centralities, local centralities, and betweenness centralities. The study indicated that the latest issues were focused on smartphone addiction and provided implications for the future research and practice that fields and topics of relationship addiction, food addiction, and work addiction should be more considered. Further, the study discussed the relationship between drug addiction-crime, alcohol addiction-family, and gambling addiction-motivation and the necessity of qualitative study.
