본 논문에서는 마이크로스트립 공진기에 엇갈린 슬롯과 한 쌍의 spur-line을 삽입한 소형 이중모드(dual-mode)여파기를 제안하였다. 제안한 여파기는 급전선과 공진기 사이에 존재하는 급전 갭(coupling gap)을 없앰으로써 삽입손실의 특성이 향상되었다. 엇갈린 슬롯만 가진 기존의 이중모드 여파기와 비교할 때, 엇갈린 슬롯과 spur-line을 동시에 갖는 이중모드 여파기는 이중모드 특성을 나타내는 섭동의 범위가 상당히 넓기 때문에 이중 모드 여파기의 설계가 용이해졌다. 또한, 제안된 구조의 가장자리에 존재하는 spur-line에 2개의 PIN다이오드를 삽입하여 개폐기 특성을 갖는 여파기로의 응용도 가능하였다. 또한 제안한 구조는 공진기에 삽입된 슬롯과 spur-line에 의해 전기적인 길이가 길어지므로 기존의 구조에 비해 34.7 %의 크기 감소 효과를 얻을 수 있었다.

Using the spectroscopic data secured with the Hamilton Echelle Spectrograph attached to a 3-m telescope at the Lick Observatory, we derived the expansion velocities from various line profiles in the 3600 $\AA$ to 10,000 $\AA$ based on the full width at half maximum and double peak of the high dispersion line profiles. The symmetrical shapes of the permitted line profiles indicate that the permitted line zone is symmetrical e.g., a spherical shell or bipolar + torus structures, which might be evidence of relatively recent ejection from the central star. Most other stronger forbidden lines might be coming from a main shell which appears as a bilateral symmetrical morphology, seen in HST and other ground-based telescopic images. The overall expansion velocities of this main shell structure that are responsible for most lines, seem to show the Hubble type expansion, i.e., accelerating shell. The faster expansion velocities of the permitted OII, NII, NIII and perhaps CII lines that do not suit to the Hubble type expansion, imply the existence of a somewhat smaller inner shell inside the outer main shell. We conclude that the nebular shell consists of a swiftly expanding inner shell and an outer normal shell excited by a central star of about 55,000K. The former compact zone appears to be responsible for the permitted C, N, and O lines while the latter extended shell appears to be responsible for H, He, and forbidden lines. We present some evidence that NGC 6833 be a member of the Galactic halo.

Many parallel lines may be shown in our real life and they are useful for analyzing structure of objects or buildings. In this paper, a vision based technique for estimating three-dimensional direction of parallel lines is suggested, which uses a calibrated camera and is applicable to an image being captured from the camera. Correctness of the technique is theoretically described and discussed in this paper. The technique is well applicable to measurement of orientation of a pallet in a warehouse, because a pair of parallel lines is well detected in the front plane of the pallet. Thereby the technique enables a forklift with a well-calibrated camera to engage the pallet automatically. Such a forklift in a warehouse can engage a pallet on a storing rack as well as one on the ground. Usefulness of the suggested technique for other applications is also discussed. We conducted an experiment of measuring a real commercial pallet with various orientation and distance and found for the technique to work correctly and accurately.

This paper presents a hybrid image mode Galerkin method for the analysis of the transmission line structures suspended between infinite parallel ground planes. A Green's function that consists of numerically accelerated image mode terms is developed, which is used in boundary integral equation. Transmission lines of arbitrary cross section are analyzed using Galerkin's method. Two kinds of configurations of transmission lines are studied in sample problems.

A method for computing the capacitance and inductance matrix for 2-D multiconductor transmission lines with arbitrary cross section in dielectric medium is presented. The integral equation is obtained by using a free space Green function in conjunction with free and bound charges existing on boundary surfaces. The numerical analysis is based on the moment method using point matching and Galerkin method. And kthe scheme to reduce memory and computation time is presented for symmetric structure.

We present a high resolution spectrum of PU Vul observed at Bohyunsan Optical Astronomy Observatory (BOAO) on April 9, 2004. Permitted emission and nebular lines of PU Vul had been significantly changed compared to all spectra observed since its eruption in 1979. Therefore all new lines should be re-identified and were done so. We do-convoluted a $H{\beta}$ line into several emission components with Gaussian functions. Then we carefully discussed the geometrical feature of PU Vul in April 2004.

In this study, the relation between cant deficiency(C＇) and rail wear in Seoul Metro Line 5 with STEDEF track structure(concrete bed) is studied. As a result, it is found that cant deficiency have a direct influence on rail wear, and under the condition that other negative effects are neglected, the cant deficiency in Metro Lines is demanded to set as little as possible.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the internal and external line beauty of men's dress of the Chosun period from the views of dress design and dress aesthetics. 1) External Line Beauty of Men's Dress of the Chosun Period ① Functional Beauty : Having the beauty of functional line in terms of convenience, action, effectiveness, practivce and sanitation. ② Structural Beauty : Having the beauty harmonizing between lines of internal and external structures. ③ Ornamental Beauty : Having the beauty of simple line by matching accessories (gat, fan, sejodae, shoes) with a simple dress. ④ Wearing Beauty : Making tall-looking or expressing a mature masculine beauty by a visual mistake caused by a combination of internal and external structural beauty lines. 2) Internal Line Beauty of Men's Dress of the Chosun Period Including a simple but natural beauty based on natural philosophy, the beauty of courtesy emphasizing official hat and dress and the beauty of dress having aesthetic consciousness with which people enjoy an idyllic life.

본 논문에서는 양방향 디지털 가입자 회선 (Digital Subscriber Lines) 통신을 위해 격자 구조 (lattice structure)와 직교화된 IIR 형태의 필터가 결합된, 이른바 CALAOI(CAscade of LAttice and Orthogonalized IIR) 구조를 갖는 새로운 반향제거기를 제안한다. 모의실험을 통하여 CALAOI 반향제거기는 기존의 FIR 및 IIR 반향제거기보다 훨씬 적은 계산량 및 메모리, 그리고 빠른 수렴속도를 갖는 안정적인 반향제거기임을 확인할 수 있었다. CALAOI 반향 제거기는 xDSL뿐만 아니라, GIGA-bit Ethernet 등 고속 양방향 통신에서 서비스의 성능을 극대화하는데 크게 기여할 것으로 예상된다.

In this thesis I have tried to compare the lines, colors and shapes of the Chinese ethnic minorities of the Moi and the Baek who live in the southwestern region of China and that of Korea. From a functional point most of the clothing in this region were separated between a top and a bottom and used colors in the collar, sleeves and lines to emphasize the decorative and pragmatic use of the clothes. The Chinese southwestern dress style had no limits on the use of color or shapes between class and rank. This was also true of the colors and shapes that were used. On the other hand the Koreans, although having the same structure, used different colors and shapes in proportion to the Joe-go-ri and Baji combination and the Jeo-go-ri and Chima combination.
