원시기하도형을 이용한 3차원구조 복원시스템의 구현 (Implementation of 3D Structure Reconstruction System Using Geometric Primitives)

  • We implement a system for 3D structure reconstruction from multiple 2D images. It uses geometric primitives such as box, wedge, pyramid, etc, each having translation, rotation, and scale parameters. Primitives are marked on input images with GUI (Graphic User Interface). Lines made by projection of primitives onto an image correspond to marked line segments of the image. Error function is defined by disparity between them and is minimized by downhill simplex method. By assigning relationship between models, the number of parameters to solve can be decreased and the resultant models become more accurate To share variables among other models also reduces computational complexity. Experiments using real images have shown that the proposed method successfully reconstructs 3D structure.

비대칭 직렬 연결 결합선로 결합기 (Asymmetric Cascaded Coupled tine Couplers)

  • 본 연구에서는 비대칭 직렬 연결 결합 선로에 기반한 새로운 결합 선로 결합기 구조를 제안하였다. 제시된 구조는 종래의 단일 결합 선로 결합기에 비해 보다 작은 크기로 설계, 제작될 수 있는 장점을 가진다. 또한 주어진 구조로부터 추가로 얻을 수 있는 설계 자유도를 이용하여 결합기의 출력 위상 조절이나 복잡한 회로 환경에서 결합기 레이아웃을 좀더 다양하게 하는 등 다른 목적으로도 효과적으로 이용될 수 있다.

시각센서를 이용한 용접선 자동추적시스템의 개발에 관한 연구 (A Study on Development of Automatic Weld-Seam Tracking System using Vision Sensor)

  • For improvement in productivity and weld quality, weld seam tracking and welding parameter control are very essential in the welding of a structure which can not be cxactly fit-up due to mismatch, discontinous gap, deflection, etc.. In this study, an automatic weld seam tracking system is developed for I-butt joint structure, and the system consists of XYZ working table, vision sensor and user interface program. In the developed vision sensor system, an image projection algorithm for weld-line detection and an adaptive current control algorithm for gap variation were implemented. The user interface program developed in this study by basing on the objct oriented concept could provide very convenient way to utilize the tracking system with the pull-down menu driven structure. The developed system showed a good seam tracking and weld quality control capability corresponding to deflected weld lines and gap variations.

Effects of Mesh Planes on Signal Integrity in Glass Ceramic Packages for High-Performance Servers

  • This paper discusses effects of mesh planes on signal integrity in high-speed glass ceramic packages. One of serious signal integrity issues in high-speed glass ceramic packages is high far-end (FE) noise coupling between signal interconnects. Based on signal integrity analysis, a methodology is presented for reducing far-end noise coupling between signal interconnects in high-speed glass ceramic modules. This methodology employing power/ground mesh planes with alternating spacing and a via-connected coplanar-type shield (VCS) structure is suggested to minimize far-end noise coupling between signal lines in high-speed glass ceramic packages. Optimized interconnect structure based on this methodology has demonstrated that the saturated far-end noise coupling of a typical interconnect structure in glass ceramic modules could be reduced significantly by 73.3 %.

Purification and Characterization of a Lectin from Arisaema tortuosum Schott Having in-vitro Anticancer Activity against Human Cancer Cell Lines

  • A lectin with in-vitro anticancer activity against established human cancer cell lines has been purified by affinity chromatography on asialofetuin-linked amino activated silica beads from the tubers of Arisaema tortuosum, popularly known as Himalayan Cobra lily, a monocot plant from the family Araceae. The bound Arisaema tortuosum lectin (ATL) was eluted with glycine-HCl buffer, pH 2.5. ATL was effectively inhibited by asialofetuin, a complex desialylated serum glycoprotein as well as by N-acetyl-D-lactosamine, a disaccharide. It gave a single band corresponding to a subunit molecular weight of 13.5 kDa in SDS-PAGE, pH 8.8 both under reducing and non reducing conditions. When subjected to gel-filtration on Biogel P-200, it was found to have a molecular weight of 54 kDa, suggesting a homotetramer structure, in which individual polypeptides are not bound to each other with disulfide bonds. ATL is a glycoprotein with 0.9% carbohydrate content, stable up to $55^{\circ}C$ and at pH 2 to 10. The lectin had no requirement for divalent metal ions i.e. $Ca^{2+}$ and $Mn^{2+}$ for its activity. However, as reported for other monocot lectins, ATL gave multiple bands in isoelectric focusing and Native PAGE, pH 8.3. The lectin was found to inhibit in vitro proliferation of human cancer cell lines HT29, SiHa and OVCAR-5.

  • The composition, weight decrease, DTA, and surface structure of vinyl insulated wire with thermal treatment conditions have been investigated. The composition of Cu by EDX analysis indicates Cu, Cl, and O lines, and oxidation reaction results from thermal treatment. Thermal treated IV and HIV appeared chemical reaction at $269^{\circ}C$ and $265^{\circ}C$, respectively. SEM of thermal treated Cu at $250^{\circ}C$ disappears an elongation structure, and appears an original structure.

Twisted Differential Line Structure on High-Speed Printed Circuit Boards to Enhance Immunity to Crosstalk and External Noise

  • Differential signaling has become a popular choice for high-speed interconnection schemes on Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs), offering superior immunity to external noise. However, conventional differential transmission lines on PCBs have problems, such as crosstalk and radiated emission. To overcome these, we propose a Twisted Differential Line (TDL) structure on a multi-layer PCB. Its improved immunity to crosstalk noise and the reduced radiated emission has been successfully demonstrated by measurement. The proposed structure is proven to transmit 3 Gbps digital signals with a clear eye-pattern. Furthermore, it is subject to much less crosstalk noise and achieves a 13 dB suppression of radiated emission. 다양한 유행성 감염병의 진단 일원화를 위한 통합변증방법 연구 (Contrivance of Integrated Pattern Differentiation Method for Diagnostic Unification of Exogenous Contagious Diseases)

  • In recent years, there were frequent exogenous contagious diseases in Eastasia like SARS(severe acute respiratory syndrome), Avian influenza, Swine influenza, MERS etc. But there are various interpretations about their pathological differentiations and lead to controversy to diagnosis and medicinal use. So there needs universal and consistent understanding methods. Several conclusions are obtained from the research on differentiation theories of various epidemic diseases. Essential elements of differential diagnostic system are pathogen, characters and matters of disease and loci, especially three yin and three yang has close affinity with constitutional features or body shape. Binding these 3 categories, an integrated differentiation 3 dimensional coordinates are made. Out of these, each elements of 3 pathogen-axial lines are related with names of exogenous disease, and those of 3 feature-axial lines are related with 8 principal patterns. And those of 3 locus-axial lines implicating therapeutic method are related with steps and location of exterior and interior, 3 yin 3 yang, Defense, Qi, Nutrient and Blood, five viscera and six bowels and tissues. Additionally, 3 lines of each axis consist of factors which have their own affinity each other, so classification of pathogen, feature, locus of disease has layered interconnectedness. This classification system is included in constitutional features of individual patient. Afterwards, these cognitive structure can be used as a general theory guiding method of therapy, prevention and aftercure healthcare.

고속열차(KTX)제어시스템과 하부장치간 프로토콜 분석연구 (A Study on protocol analysis between KTX control system and sub-devices)

  • 경부고속열차(KTX) 제어시스템은 차량컴퓨터(OBCS), 차상신호제어장치(ATC), 견인제동추진장치(MBU), 운전자고장안내지원장치(TECA), 유무선통신장치(MDT), 보조전원제어장치(ABU), 공조장치(HVAC), 객차활주제어장치(TRAE), 도착지표시장치(PID), 객실안전및객실편의설비동작표시장치(FDTR) 등이 차량컴퓨터를 마스터로 그 외 하부제어장치들은 슬레이브로 다양한 시리얼라인을 매체로 상호 제어한다. 이런 다양한 시리얼링크라인의 물리적 구조와 상호 데이터 전송구조를 분석하기 위해, 시리얼라인 분석기를 다양한 방법으로 사용한다. 시리얼라인 분석기를 사용하기 위해서는 사전에 고속열차에 대한 전문 기술과 장비사용에 대한 경험이 필요하다. 공간과 환경이 어려운 여건에서, 고속열차정비에 근무하면서, 하부장치 시리얼라인 데이터 수집과정에서 얻은 물리적 접속방법과 통신데이타 분석에 대한 기본 구조를 제시하여, 관련 업무에 종사하는 분에게 도움이 되고자 한다. 또 한 향후 독자적으로 개발 된 고속열차 시운전과정에서 필요한 고속열차 진단업무에 도움이 되고자 한다.

Tandem구조를 이용한 V-band용 CPW 3-dB 방향성 결합기 (V-band CPW 3-dB Directional Coupler using Tandem Structure)

  • 본 연구에서는 60 GHz 대역의 무선 LAN(Wireless Local Area Network) 시스템에서 Balanced 구조를 갖는 증폭기나 믹서에 응용이 가능한 CPW(Coplanar Waveguide)구조의 Tandem 형 3-dB 방향성 결합기를 설계하고 제작하였다. 이는 기존의 edge-coupled 선로를 이용한 3 dB 결합기가 가지는 제작의 어려움과 방향성의 문제를 개선하기 위해 단일 결합선로를 다단으로 평행하게 연결한 구조이다. 우리는 소자의 크기와 제작의 용이함을 고려해, 결합계수가 -8.34 dB를 갖는 단일 결합선로를 2단으로 평행하게 연결한 구조를 채택하였다. 그리고 기존의 Tandem 결합기 제작에서 사용되어왔던 다층 기판 구조나 본딩 구조가 아닌 에어브리지 구조를 이용하여 단일 평면으로 쉽게 구현할 수 있도록 하였고, V-band(50 $\~$75 GHz)내에서 동작할 수 있도록 기생성분을 줄이고 소자 특성을 유지시켰다. 측정결과 V-band에서 완만한 3.5 $\~$4 dB의 결합도와 87.5$^{\circ}{\pm}1^{\circ}$ 의 위상차를, 60 GHz 에서는 30 dB 이상의 방향성을 확인하였다.
