Our natural desire to exuviate old theory and search for new ideas means conversion and reformation. Howev-er, the new idea of the present moment will soon become an ancient history when the next generation emerges with more advanced ideas. Naturally, we have learned to accept the past history and utilized it as a the foundation for the future. Through the repeated process of the learning method, the popula-tion cultivate themselves with proper understanding and appropriate attitude toward design. By analyzing social behaviors of the past and living conditions, we can ex-pand our imaginations beyond limits. Each society and its local condition have tremendous effects on the develop-ment and progress of artistic theories, techniques and craftsmanship, and potential design of every day use products. Today, interior design can not afford to ignore the or-ganic relationship of life style and space. Thus, the plan-ning of space means the planning of life style. Life style, as it is, has a vast definition and changes with time. That is why spaces, which consider the life style and its environment when designed, show different aspects ac-cording to its corresponding time. Interior design, in particular, differs by time and re-gion to create its unique style. The change in space is the natural result of the change in life style which again is sensitive to the change in cultural and environmental elements. Design is no longer designing of mere physical elements and environment. Design should be taken as the equivalent of creating spiritual culture.

본 연구에서는 굴착기에서의 리퍼의 형상에 따른 구조 및 진동, 피로해석을 하였다. 2가지의 모델들 모두, 작업장치의 바디와 이어지는 축에서 최대 응력이 발생하였고 최대 변형량은 직접작업부에서 발생하였다. Model 1이 Model 2 보다 내구성면에서 구조적으로 더 안정적이라고 사료된다. 불규칙 피로 하중들 중에서는 하중의 변화가 극심한 'SAE bracket history'의 경우가 대체적으로 가장 불안정한 경향을 보이고 있고, 비교적 하중의 변화가 완만한 'Sample history'의 경우가 가장 안정함을 보이고 있다. 본 연구의 결과를 종합하여 굴착기에서의 리퍼의 설계에 응용한다면, 그 파손 방지 및 내구성을 검토하여 그 설계에 유용하게 활용될 것으로 사료된다.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to define the experience of nursing education in the Jinju area of Gyeongsang-Namdo from the 1940s to 1960s. Methods: An oral history study was done using personal interviews with 8 nurses who graduated in nursing in Gyeong Nam area during the period under study. Results: In this study, the individual's educational background before entering the nursing school, school life, and life as a nurse after graduating from nursing school were defined. Conclusion: For most of the respondents, their educational background before entering nursing school was middle school. They studied very hard in poor surroundings. After graduation from a nursing school, they worked in hospitals, public health centers, midwifery centers, and schools. Half of the respondents had experience as a midwife. Their income as a midwife was relatively high at that time. They all had positive identities and lived a life devoted to the individual, society, and the nation.

Ginseng, a Korean native herb, has been a symbol of mystic cure-all which provides longevity benefits throughout Korean history. According to Chinese historical records, a major source of wild ginseng has been described as Korean peninsula, which is the most suitable ginseng production area, and the Manchu region near Mt. Baekdu and the Maritime Province. Since Tang dynasty period (618-917 CE), Chinese has also called ginseng as "Goryeo Ginseng", which is named after "Goguryeo" (37 BCE-668 CE), an ancient kingdom of Korea, from which they mainly imported the herb as the region was famous for its high quality of ginseng. To date, it refers to Korean ginseng. This study compares the medicinal properties of ginseng as stated in the ancient Korean medical books with the major Korean historical records regarding the usage of ginseng and its symbolism of longevity in everyday life. By contrasting these findings, we tried to figure out how the actual medicinal properties of ginseng and the anticipation of longevity are related. It was confirmed that the expectations about longevity were widely applied to everyday life. In addition, the study investigates the various usage of ginseng as a motive for decorative patterns and as an ingredient for daily products including snacks, health drinks, various types of food, clothing patterns, and so on. Finally, the usage of ginseng ingredients in the cosmetic products fulfilled the desire of Korean people to purchase, showing the aesthetic recognition and medicinal understandings about the herb. These findings suggest that ginseng is an important medicinal agent that not only symbolizes longevity and good health but also has a great influence on the lives of Koreans.

본 연구는 사회문화적 관점에서 지식의 생산자이자 소비자인 과학교사의 학습과정을 전 생애에 걸쳐 살펴보고 이를 바탕으로 과학교사의 실천적 지식의 형성 및 발달 과정을 탐색하고자 한다. 이를 위하여 수년 동안 대학 및 대학원에서 수업 및 세미나를 함께 하면서 예비 교사 혹은 교사로서의 삶을 가까이에서 지켜 볼수 있었던 두 명의 과학교사를 연구 참여자로 최종 선정하였다. 이들은 교직경력 3년에서 6년의 중학교 과학교사로 각자 상이한 삶의 맥락을 토대로 과학교사로서 전문성을 발달시키며 실천적 지식을 형성해 나가고 있었다. 연구 참여자의 삶에 대한 심층적 이해와 과학 교사로서 실천적 지식을 탐색하기 위하여 생애사 모델과 실천적 지식의 구조를 분석틀로 사용하였다. 연구 결과 과학 교사의 실천적 지식의 형성 및 발달은 교사 개인의 삶의 맥락에 따라 주요 관심과 비중이 상이하게 달라짐을 확인 할 수 있었다. 이러한 교사 개인의 삶의 여정을 통해 자연스럽게 형성된 과학교사의 실천적 지식은 수업 전문성 향상을 위한 중요한 모티브로 작용하고 있었으며, 교사 개인의 끊임없는 반성과 성찰로 더욱 공고히 발전하는 경향을 보였다.

분단 70년을 거치며 남북한의 문화적 이질화가 가속화되고 있다. 이러한 상황에서 북한 주민의 일상생활에 대한 장기적인 아카이브 구축은 북한 이해의 폭을 넓히는 데 기여할 수 있다. 여기서는 일상생활을 "제도, 사회통제, 규범, 질서 등의 사회구조적 측면과 개인의 다양한 실천과 행위가 교차하는 사회적 공간"으로 규정하였다. 이 연구의 목적은 이러한 일상생활의 개념을 적용하여 북한 일상생활에 관한 증거와 기억이 풍부하게 담긴 아카이브 구축 모형을 설계하는 것이다. 이를 위하여 일상생활의 특징을 반영한 방법론이 필요한데, 이를 '문화 아카이빙'이라고 명명하고 그 핵심 개념을 정리하였다. 이러한 방법론을 적용하여 북한 일상생활 아카이브 구축의 원칙과 절차가 포함된 모형을 제안하였다. 또한 각 구축 절차가 어떻게 적용될 수 있는지를 실제 사례(북한 생활·문화·역사 데이터베이스)를 통해 살펴보았다.

Fatigue life prediction of mechanical components is necessary to develop new products, which is very expensive and time-consuming. This paper reviews technologies proposed for computation of dynamic stress in mechanical components. The methods based on multibody dynamics are considering more real operational conditions than other methods. The technology for fatigue life prediction without the prototype for experiment results in cost and time saving. This technology can be applied to design of various mechanical components like carbody.
