This study aims to investigate the factors influencing the life satisfaction of North Korean defectors in the ongoing situation of difficulties. Specifically, it examines the impact of the digital informatization level, and social capital on their life satisfaction and aims to verify the mediating effect of social capital in the relationship between the digital informatization level and life satisfaction. To achieve this, a structural equation model was utilized to validate the research model using data from 679 North Korean defectors who participated in the 2021 Report on the digital Divide. The research results confirm the direct influence of the digital informatization level and social capital of North Korean defectors on life satisfaction. Additionally, the study identifies the mediating effect of social capital in the relationship between the digital informatization level and life satisfaction. Based on these research findings, recommendations are proposed for enhancing the life satisfaction of North Korean defectors.

This study are to show the relation between ethical consumption consciousness, life meaning and happiness of life. Specifically, this study aims to examine the mediation effects of the meaning of life in the relationship of the ethical consumption consciousness and happiness, a survey was conducted by collecting 265 valid questionnaires. SPSS and AMOS statistical package were used to examine the relationships between variables. The results showed that ethical consumption consciousness had a significantly positive effect on life meaning. It was also found that life meaning had a positive effect on happiness of life. This study is significant in the sense that it identifies ethical consumerism consciousness has a positive influence on life meaning and consumer happiness. In particular, the mediating effect of the meaning of life, which is drawing attention in various research fields, was confirmed in the relationship between ethical consumption consciousness and happiness. This study can be used as effective information for further ethical consumption education and suggested implications for enhancing ethical consumption consciousness and happiness in various ways.

This study aimed at developing parent education program for family leisure for parents of adolescent children to enable them to pursue happy lives as healthy families with adequate balance of cohesiveness and adaptability and smooth communication between the members of their families after parent education for family leisure. Research procedure of parent education program for family leisure proceeded with establishment of theory and requirement survey through precedent research, design of program, practice of program, evaluation of program and suggestion of revised program model after evaluation. On the basis of evaluation results, parent education program for family leisure aiming at parents of adolescent children can conclusively be revised as follows. The first session aims at understanding of family leisure; the second session aims at improvement of learning effect through education & experience-oriented activities; the third session aims at understanding and paying regard to their children through hobby-oriented activities; the fourth session aims at improvement of social relations through society-oriented activities; the fifth session aims at helping children education through check of communication in family-oriented activities and home-visiting education for etiquette; and the sixth session, the final session, aims at providing information and knowledge on family leisure and letting them gain better understanding of adolescent children.

The life of studying abroad includes not only school life, but also various areas such as economy, social relationship, and culture, so the level of satisfaction in each area could be differently shown in each individual. Based on this critical mind, this study aims to analyze the satisfaction with life of studying abroad in the multidimensional perspective. To analyze this, a latent class analysis was applied to identify subgroups, and a multinomial logistic regression model was applied to verify factors influencing group classification. The results of the analysis could be summarized into two. First, there were sub-groups showing different satisfaction with life of studying abroad. The sub-groups showed different levels of satisfaction in five areas such as housing, economy, social relationship, study, and culture, which were not discerned in single dimension. Second, the classification of group was complexly influenced by academic factor, psychological/emotional factor, and environmental factor. Especially, the predictive factor had different influences on each sub-factor. Based on such results of this study, this study aims to seek for the practical and policy-level suggestions for improving foreign students' satisfaction with life of studying abroad.

This paper aims at measuring the quality of life in the context of social well being. To meet this purpose, several objective and subjective indicators of the quality of life were selected them the recent theoretical studies in thisfield. Then, a zuestionnaire survey was made on random sampled urban failies to find out the relationship among the two sets of indicators and the quality of family life. The data obtained from the survey were analyzed using Pearson's correlation analysis, multiple regression methods and One-way ANOVA. RESULTS : 1. The quality of life of the high-income earners is higher than that of the low-income earners. 2. The quality of life tends to be high in the family with spouse'high educational background. 3. The degree of coctribution of the objective and subjective indicator to the quality of life was very high. 4. The objective indicator and the subjective indicator concerning the quality of life was closely related.

Through the fatigue test of plastic gears using polyacetal polymer, this research aims at providing basic data for not only specifying operation conditions of plastic gears, but also designing dimensions of plastic gears with giving fatigue life and the estimated equation of fatigue life of plastic gears. That is, from the fatigue life curves, the estimated equation of fatigue life of plastic gears is taken out. For the estimated equation of fatigue life of plastic gears, this research provides two test methods; one is preserving non-limited temperature of tooth flank, the other is preserving limited temperature of tooth flank. As results, how the temperature of tooth flank affects the fatigue life is shown. In addition, based on the endurance limit, the essential factors of the unit load and K-factor are determined, which are needed in the design of gear by bending strength and surface durability.

Purpose: This study aims to examine the influence of personality types on recovery resilience and college life adjustment among dental technology students. Methods: The study recruited 165 students in colleges in some areas using convenience sampling. Data were processed through reliability analysis, frequency analysis, descriptive statistics, and correlation analysis. Moreover, linear regression analysis was performed to confirm the influence. Results: The results confirmed that the motivation for selecting a department exerted an effect on adaptation to college life and satisfaction with majors (p<0.05). Additionally, the finding indicated that personality type partially influenced resilience and adaptation to college life among dental technology students (p<0.05). Finally, the results of regression analysis on adaptation to college life found that resilience and satisfaction with majors were significant predictors of adaptation to college life (p<0.05). Conclusion: To improve adaptation to college life, increasing resilience and satisfaction with majors is necessary.

This paper aims at efficient determining the economic life of weapon systems. Specifically, the procedure to estimate the life cycle cost at initial acquisition state or at development state using the PRICE model is proposed. The PRICE model is a parametric cost estimation which is widely used in the field of national defense. The model includes the estimation of the cost in life cycle of weapon systems such as research and development, acquisition, operation and support. Using this model, economic life of weapon systems can be determined. Based on an equivalent annual cost (EAC) method which sums the capital recovery with return (CR) and the equivalence cost (EC), the economic life will be calculated. A case study is accomplished to illustrate the proposed procedure.

The aims of this study were to analyze the influence of related variables on a mode of housing life style, and the related variables to propensity to housing life stymie. The results of this study were as follows: 1. Variables influencing value orientation of family life were property and the price of housing. 2. Cardiac arrest can occur in dental clinics. All dental professionals should be trained to deal with emergency situations that is threatening life. Dental professionals should be familiar with the protocol which include basic life support, advanced life support and specific drugs to be administered in emergencies. Emergency can occur in any dental office without any warnings. Further, it has been noted in recent times there is an increase in a number of medico-legal cases due to rise in a number of death in the dental chair. This review article aims at briefing the basic life support required to manage the medical emergency having life-threatening potential.
