MODULES THAT SUBMODULES LIE OVER A SUMMAND

  • Let M be a nonzero module. M has the property that every submodule of M lies over a direct summand of M. We study some properties of such a module. The endomorphism ring of such a module is also studied. The relationships of such a module to the semi-regular modules, and to the semi-perfect modules are described.

  • Thompson series is a Hauptmodul for a genus zero group which lies between $\Gamma$o(N) and its normalizer in PSL2(R) ([1]). We construct explicit ring class fields over an imaginary quadratic field K from the Thompson series $T_g$($\alpha$) (Theorem 4), which would be an extension of [3], Theorem 3.7.5 (2) by using the Shimura theory and the standard results of complex multiplication. Also we construct various class fields over K, over a CM-field K (${\zeta}N + {\zeta}_N^{-1}$), and over a field K (${\zeta}N$). Furthermore, we find an explicit formula for the conjugates of Tg ($\alpha$) to calculate its minimal polynomial where $\alpha$ (${\in}{\eta}$) is the quotient of a basis of an integral ideal in K.

가르치기 어려움에 대한 교육현상학적 검토 : 서양교육사에서 (A Study on Educational Difficulty in the History of Western Education)

  • The purpose of this study is researching on educational difficulty in the history of western education. In other words, the goal and significance of this paper lies in knowing the essential meaning of education based on the norms of difficulty. The major method for this study is hermeneutical-anthropological pedagogy. My fundamental claim is the following: the essential nature of teaching is difficulty at any instructional condition and situations. Such a discrete idea was clearly identified and confirmed in the process of pedagogical anthropology. That is, through the consciousness of educational difficulty and critical review for the history of western education, I can cleary define the concept of educational difficulty. Educational difficulty was various ways for understanding by all audiences. Namely, various formulars were developed for understanding it according to the age, cultures, nations, ideology, etc.. But there are continuous characters on the way for understanding on educational difficulty. The results on research are as followings. In the primitive age, fundamental difficulty of education lies in the initiation ceremony. At the classical ancient time, the purpose of education was 'Politai' with politike arete, in this educational conditions, instruction have a complex dimension politically as well as psychologically. At the medieval age, educational difficulty lies in the 'Askese' for instructional methods. In the modern and conventional age, educational difficulty is more and more complex and confused on goals, methods, evaluations, etc.. Most of all, the major or key concept of educational difficulty in this world is the conflict between the two instructional principles, that is, objectivism and constructivism in education. At now, the schoolworks for instruction over all educational situations and conditions have a difficulty of traditional as well conventional dilemma. In conclusion, educational difficulty have formal, natural, original attribute and it is general and universal phenomenon.

단결정 실리콘의 3차원 미세패턴 가공 기술

  • A new method of fabricating 3-dimensional patterns on single crystal silicon is presented in this paper. The method utlizes both chemical and mechanical reactions to make patterns with dimensions of few microns in width and submicron in height. The primaryadvantage ofthis new method over conventional methods of making patterns on silicon lies in its cost effectiveness and speed. The process introduced in this paper is a maskless process and does not reauire expensive capital investment. It is expected that this method can be employed for flexible and cost effective fabrication of micro-machine components in MEMS application.

  • In this paper, our focus lies in exploring the concept of Cohen-Macaulay dimension within the category of homologically finite complexes. We prove that over a local ring (R, 𝔪), any homologically finite complex X with a finite Cohen-Macaulay dimension possesses a finite CM-resolution. This means that there exists a bounded complex G of finitely generated R-modules, such that G is isomorphic to X and each nonzero Gi within the complex G has zero Cohen-Macaulay dimension.

청소년서사의 트랜스미디어 스토리텔링에 나타나는 가족과 개인 (The Family and Individual in the Transmedia Storytelling of Young Adult Narratives)

  • 본고는 김려령 작가의 소설 『완득이』와 『우아한 거짓말』, 이한 감독의 영화 <완득이>와 <우아한 거짓말>을 대상으로 매체 전환 스토리텔링의 변형 과정을 분석하여, 포스트IMF시대 가족해체 및 '개인화'를 둘러싸고 상이한 서사적 대응이 공존하는 트랜스미디어 스토리텔링의 문화 정치적 함의를 고찰하였다. 먼저 트랜스미디어 스토리텔링 개념에 대한 기존 연구를 비판적으로 검토하고, 원작에서 출발한 매체 전환 스토리텔링을 구명(究明)하기 위해 마리-로르 라이언의 서사학적 관점인 '트랜스픽셔낼러티(transfictionality)'를 참조하였다. 소설 『완득이』와 『우아한 거짓말』은 가족해체라는 실존적 조건을 받아들이는 '개인화'의 두 가지 양상을 드러낸다. 소설 『완득이』는 '자기 발견'을 통해 가부장 중심의 가족로망스를 벗어나 친밀한 개인들의 동행과 같은 느슨한 가족 유대를 보여주었다. 소설 『우아한 거짓말』은 철저히 고립된 자신을 발견하는 청소년의 이야기를 통해 '고통의 개인화'를 보여주는 동시에 남겨진 자들의 애도가 불가능함을 서늘하게 그려냈다. 한편, 영화로 전환된 <완득이>와 <우아한 거짓말>은 가족 해체에 직면한 가족 구성원들이 이에 맞서 가족을 재발견하고 복원하는 서사를 보여 주었다. 영화 <완득이>는 다문화 정체성을 통해 가족공동체의 확장을 도모하였고, 영화 <우아한 거짓말>은 남겨진 가족들이 슬픔 속에서도 '자살생존자'로 살아남아 자신들의 애도를 완성하였다. 위 소설의 스토리월드는 청소년 개인의 '자기 발견'에, 영화로 전환된 스토리월드는 '가족을 재발견'하는 데에 무게중심을 두고 있다. 스토리텔링의 변형, 특히 서사구조의 재구성('수정 modification')을 통한 트랜스미디어 스토리텔링은 매체 전환 텍스트들 간의 관계를 '충실한 재현'에서 멀어지게 하는 것은 물론 상반된 주제와 세계관을 보여 주고 있다. 즉 '인물의 등장'이라는 기준점을 제공하되, 원작에서 출발하여 매체를 전이하면서 스토리텔링을 변형시킴으로써 원작으로부터 자유로워지려는 트랜스미디어 스토리텔링은 이질적인 목소리들을 생성하여 다성적 스토리월드로 개방하였다. 가족해체와 개인화를 둘러싸고 불확실성이 증폭하는 포스트IMF시대에, 이와 같은 트랜스미디어 스토리텔링에 의해 생성된 다성적(多聲的) 스토리월드는 개인의 자유/위험과 공동체에의 안주라는 이질적인 욕망을 경험하도록 이끈다. 이는 '횡단, 초월, 변형'을 근간으로 하는 트랜스미디어 스토리텔링의 문화정치적 함의라할 수 있을 것이다.

항공안전관리 향상을 위한 항공여객의 행동 변화 연구 (A study on the Effect of Aviation Safety over the Air Passenger's Behaviour for Enhancement of Aviation Safety Management)

  • The research purpose of A Study on the Effect of Aviation Safety over the Air Passenger's Behavior for enhancement of aviation safety management lies at the judgement that passenger's airlines choice criteria has much changed after several serious aviation accidents as before when we used to overlook "aviation safety" variable through surveying to Korean aviation passengers and foreigners visit or travel Korea on various purposes. This study will be regarded significant in terms that empirical analysis was used to prove "Aviation Safety", a variable which had not been regarded as a airline choice factor within Korea air transport market so far, and has an effect on the air passengers' airline preference change and choice after recent frequent aviation accidents. I wish, it can be another opportunity for Korean two national flag airlines to reappraise and reinforce the significance of "aviation safety" and set forth immediate vigorous efforts to support the government's aviation safety improvement countermeasures.

QUASIPOLAR MATRIX RINGS OVER LOCAL RINGS

  • A ring R is called quasipolar if for every a 2 R there exists $p^2=p{\in}R$ such that $p{\in}comm^2{_R}(a)$, $ a+p{\in}U(R)$ and $ap{\in}R^{qnil}$. The class of quasipolar rings lies properly between the class of strongly ${\pi}$-regular rings and the class of strongly clean rings. In this paper, we determine when a $2{\times}2$ matrix over a local ring is quasipolar. Necessary and sufficient conditions for a $2{\times}2$ matrix ring to be quasipolar are obtained.

모더나이트 촉매상에서 트리메틸벤젠의 반응 (Reactions of Trimethylbenzenes over Mordenite Catalysts)

  • 알루미늄을 추출시킨뒤 양이온 교환에 의해 세공크기를 조절한 모더나이트 촉매상에서 트리메틸벤젠의 이성질화 반응에 대한 형상선택성을 조사했다. 반응온도가 높아짐에 따라 동종간 주고 받기 반응은 크게 증가했고 이성질화 반응에는 큰 변화가 없었다. 1,2,4-트리메틸벤젠의 반응에서 반응시간이 경과함에 따라 1,3,5-트리메틸벤젠과 동종간 주고 받기 생성물이 급격히 감소하였다. 반응생성물의 분포, 특히 이성질화 생성물의 분포로 미루어보아 Ba-모더나이트 촉매의 유효세공의 지름은 약 8.1과 8.6${\AA}$사이값을 갖는 것으로 생각되었다.

A Mechanistic Critical Heat Flux Model for High-Subcooling, High-Mass-Flux, and Small-Tube-Diameter Conditions

  • A mechanistic model based on wall-attached bubble coalescence, previously developed by the authors, was extended to predict a vow high critical heat flux (CHF)in highly subcooled flow boiling, especially for high mass flux and small tube diameter conditions. In order to take into account the enhanced condensation due to high subcooling and high mass velocity in small diameter tubes, a mechanistic approach was adopted to evaluate the non-equilibrium flow quality and void fraction in the subcooled water flow boiling, with preserving the structure of the previous CHF model. Comparison of the model predictions against highly subcooled water CHF data showed relatively good agreement over a wide range of parameters. The significance of the proposed CHF model lies in its generality in applying over the entire subcooled flow boiling regime including the operating conditions of fission and fusion reactors.
