This study aims to set a cooperative network system for children's service in public libraries in Korea centering on the National Library for Children and Young Adults. The purpose of the study is to foster effective online and offline cooperation among public libraries through the National Library for Children and Young Adults and improve children's library service. Based on the survey results and face-to-face interviews the study suggests various ways to strengthen cooperative network system and public library council for children's service. First is to empower the council and to that end, to expand the cooperative network as well as to clearly set its role. Secondly it advises to capitalize from council's homepage service and adapt social-networking tools.

The purpose of this study is to study library marketing research trends in Korea and other countries through the analysis of author keyword network of peer-reviewed journal articles. The author keyword was collected from four major LIS journals in Korea and Scopus academic database for other countries'. The data was analyzed using NetMiner4 software. The results of the study were as follows: 1) In Korea, lots of library marketing studies focused on public libraries. However, there was a range of library marketing researches focused on academic libraries in other countries, 2) In Korea, there was not a variety of subjects of library marketing studies and the studies were mainly led by a few scholars, 3) In other countries, many scholars paid attention to digital library marketing through social media and/or web, and 4) there little library marketing studies focused on school libraries both in Korea and other countries.

The present study positively analyzed the hyperlinks of 32 web sites with the purpose of analyzing the hyperlink network structure of web sites for each domestic library type. After collecting the hyperlink data using the crawler, we analyzed the overall characteristics of the websites in the network based on the characteristics of the library. The results are as follows. 1) Among all analyzed libraries, Yonsei scored the highest in degree centrality, betweenness centrality, closeness centrality, and eigenvector centrality. 2) By library type, Sejong for national library, Seoul for public library, and Yonsei for college library appeared an influential a relatively. Based on these analysis results, the present study will be utilized as basic data for establishing an operation strategy that improves the efficiency and effectiveness of library web sites in the future.

This study would understand the overall perception of our society about public libraries, analyzing the texts related to public libraries, utilizing the semantic connection network & sentiment analysis. For this purpose, this study collected data from the last five years with keywords, 'Library' and 'Lifelong Learning Center' from January 1, 2016 through November 30, 2020 through the blogs and cafés of major domestic portal sites. With the collected data, text mining, centrality of keywords, network structure, structural equipotentiality, and sensitivity analyses were conducted. As a result of the analysis, First, 'reading' and 'book' were identified as representative keywords that form the social perception of public libraries. Second, it turned out that there were keywords related to the use of the library and the untact service due to the recent spread of COVID-19. Third, in seeking a plan for the development of public libraries through the keywords drawn to have positive meanings, it is necessary to create continuous services that can form a new image of the library, breaking away from the existing fixed role and image of the library and increase the convenience of use. Fourth, facilities and facilities for library services were recognized from a neutral point of view. Fifth, the spread of infectious diseases, social distancing, and temporary closure and closure of libraries are negatively related to public libraries, and awareness of librarians has been identified as negative keywords.

Social networking services that connect a person to other people are attracting our attention and various types of on-the-network services are provided. Library has been playing a role of social media by providing with materials such as books and magazines, and with a place for reading, studying, getting lectures, etc. In this paper, we present a method for finding candidates of groups of the library's patrons who share interest areas by utilizing the loan records, which are obtainable by every library. Such a homogeneous group can become a candidate for a study group, a community for exchange ideas, and other activity group. We apply the method to a collection of loan records of a university library, find some problem to be solved, and propose measures for more detailed solutions. Even though the potential group finding problem still remains a lot of problems to be solved, its potential importance is very high and thus to be studies even more for future applications.

The purpose of this study is to build a model of inter-library cooperation's network in the information of library materials. Results of this study are 1. In case of the Central National Library, financial problems required of the performance in the inter-library cooperation should he charged equally among the Central National Library, the library belong to the reader and the reader. In case of the regional Central Public Library, it should be charged equally arnozlg the regional Central Public Library, the library belon-g' to the reader and the reader. 5. The Regional Central Public Library in the seat of provincial government should be managed the cooperation's work of the individual library, and upward the unified Central Xarional Library should generalize. 6. The purchase of materials should be done by the character of the each library 1r:ith the assignment of the each subject should be decided in the meeting of the each library personne!. -2nd the budget for purchasing per the year should be decided on the minimum by the circumstances of the each library regionally. 7. The unified Regional Central Public Library in the seat of provincial government should be charged of the Union Catalog's expense regionally, and the Central National Library should be charged of that National Union Catalog's expense to cumulative the Fegional Union Catalog within a definite period of time. 8. Books without presentation of a specimen copy to the unified Central National Library should be purchased, and r.cr 'oe included to the National Union Catalog. 9. The cooperation of the each library should be decided on the law, and considered the character of the each region.

In this paper, we propose a game server using public network library ACE, which has been developed in various fields for a long time. ACE network library has been considered not only in the area of high efficient real-time communication library but also in the area of application development, and it provides various facilities. We logically reorganized the part, which is necessary to develop games, among various functions of ACE and optimized it, and developed real battlenet server using verify the reorganized library. As the method of experiment, the battlenet server and test client were set and interface request test and data electrical transmission test were conducted. As the result of the experiment, the conclusion that it is possible to develop games by using ACE, which is verified network library, has been obtained.

This study aims to investigate the scholarly communications and citation influences in library and information science field by conducting journal citation network analysis. For data collection, four major journals in library and information science field were chosen and 4,471 of research papers and 18,424 of citation records were collected from Korean Citation Index. The results show that Journal of the Korean Society for Library and Information Science was the most influential journal with highest citation in LIS fields, while Journal of the Korean Society for Library and Information Science Management influenced other research fields.

There is a strong correlation between library resources and research productivity, as measured by publications and researcher honors. Therefore, first-class information resources of the academic and research libraries are essential to a productive research infrastructure in Korea. The principal aim of this paper is to develop a structure and framework of KORLIN (Korean Research Library Network) for providing seamless access to the analogue and digital information resources of university and research libraries from workstations of researchers.
