  • This study analyzed the body shape of the body of 17~19 years old female students using the SPSS 20.0 statistical program according to the 7th Korea Human Body Survey. Factor analysis was based on six factors including body size, body height, shoulder length, and width, upper body length, hip length, and shoulder inclination related factors. Through this cluster analysis, the body shape of late adolescent female student was classified into four types. Body type 1 was the highest body height factor, and the upper body length and the hip length factor were lower. It was analyzed as 'Long leg in the body'. Body type 2 is the 'narrow shoulder skinny type' with high hip and shoulder slope factors and low body size, body height, shoulder length, and width factor. Body type 3 showed body size, shoulder length, height and hip length factor, and body height factor was rather low 'low hip obese body shape'. Body type 4 was analyzed as 'lower shoulder long upper body type' with higher upper body length factor and lower body size and shoulder slope factor. It is thought that when the pattern is made, it is possible to produce excellent patterns by fitting the dimensions of the body, as well as the dimensions of the shoulder width, the slope, and the hip length.

  • In this paper, I made visual inspection system using Vision Board and it is consist of an illuminator (a fluorescent lamp), image input device(CCD(Charge)Coupled Device) camera), image processing system(Vision Board(FARAMVB-02), image output device(videomonitor, printer), a measuring instrument(TELMN1000). Length measurement by visual inspection system is used 100mm gauge block instead of calculating distance between camera and object, it measured horizontal and vertical length factor from 400mm to 650mm by increasing 50mm. In this place, measured horizontal and vertical length factor made use of length measurement of a injection. A measuring instrument used to compare a measured length of a injection visual inspection system with it. In conclusion, length measurement of a injection compared a measuring instrument withvisual inspecion system using length factor of 100mm guage block. Maximum error of length compared two devices a measuring instrument with visual inspection system is 0.55mm. And operation program is made up Borland C++ 3.1. By changing, it is applied to various uses.

  • For a stability design of steel frames, AISC-LRFD specification recommend to use Alignment Chart and story-based methods in order to determine an effective budding length. Recently, elastic buckling analysis, which is the method that calculate the effective length of members using eigenvalue of the overall structure, has been widely used in practical design of steel frames because this method can be performed effectively and automatically by computers. However, it can in some cases lead to unexpectedly large effective length in column having small axial forces. Therefore, this paper propose a method using elastic buckling analysis, which estimate a proper effective buckling length for all members having a small axial force. For verification of proposed method, it is compared with system based approach and stiffness distribution factor method. As a result, proposed method can rationally solve a problem in some case of column having small axial force. Also, adoption range for proposed method is established.

  • This study has the purposes to search the most visually effective and appropriate number of pleats and skirt length, when it's worn, with the changes in the number of pleats and skirt length that could be influential in analyzing the visual evaluation of pleats skirt and to analyze the changes when those factors are applied in real pattern. The stimuli were 18 samples: 6 variations of the number of pleats and 3 variations of the length of skirt. The data were obtained from 54 fashion design majors. The data were analyzed by Factor Analysis, Anova, Scheffe's Test and the MCA method. The results of the study were as follows: The visual image by the number of pleats and the length of skirt were composed of 4 factors : activity, attraction, neatness and commonness. In these factors, activity factor was estimated by the most important factor. The visual image according to the changes in the number of pleats and skirt length had significant differences, and the pleats skirts with 12 and 16 number of pleats and 38cm of skirt length were evaluated to be the most effective. The activity factor had interaction influence effect according to the number of pleats and the skirt length. The skirt length had more influence than the number of pleats in attraction and neatness factors, and the other way around for commonness factor.

  • The study is classifies the figures of obese women aged 20-50 with an over 25 BMI from the data of the fifth Size Korea in 2005. As the result of conducting the factor analysis for segmenting the shape, Factor 1, Factor 2, Factor 3, and Factor 4 are respectively derived as the factor on a volume, the factor on the size of the vertical direction, the factor on the shoulder region, and the factor on the body length balance. As the result of conducting the cluster analysis using 4 factors (scores extracted from the analysis of factor analysis) the body type of obese women was classified into four types. The name of shape was specified by combining 'P' (an abbreviation of petite) that indicated the height (smaller than 155cm) among the height names of KS standard, 'R' (abbreviation of regular) that indicated the height (155cm-165cm) and the body characteristics. Type 1 had the longest length, and normal circumference, thickness, and width but with the developed shoulder. Type 1 was classified as a robust, 'Plus-RH'. Type 2 had the middle height, the shortest length of the upper part, a relatively-long length of the lower part of body. Type 2 shows the characteristics of a small body that was classified as 'Plus-PI'. The most obese body was Type 3 that had the normal length and shoulder size but showed the longest length of the upper part of the body; it was classified as 'Plus-PO'. Type 4 as the small shape had a potbelly and showed the characteristics of the shortest body classified as 'Plus-Pb'.
