To this end, more specifically, we intend to establish and clarify a hypothetical model based on the preceding studies of facilitating factors and factors that continue to participate according to the lifestyle of sports center members. In order to achieve this research purpose, the study subjects were set as the population of male and female adults over 20 who are using sports centers in Gwangju Metropolitan City and Jeollanam-do in 2021. As for the sampling method, the sample was extracted using cluster random sampling, and 300 people were used for the actual analysis, excluding 60 copies of double-entry and insincere or unreliable questionnaires. The survey tool was modified and supplemented according to this study based on the questionnaire that had been verified for reliability and validity in previous studies, and all questionnaire items were composed of a 5-point scale. The statistical analysis used for data analysis was frequency analysis, exploratory factor analysis, reliability analysis, and multiple regression analysis using SPSS Windows 21.0 Version. The conclusions obtained in this study through data analysis by such methods and procedures are as follows. First, according to the lifestyle of sports center members, participation promotion factors were found to have a partial influence. Second, according to the lifestyle of sports center members, the selection behavior was found to have a partial influence. Third, it was found that the participation promotion factors of sports center members partially affected the choice behavior.

  • The daily life activities of primary school children have been increasingly diversified. This research examined the spatio-temporal characteristics of primary school children's daily life activities. The time allocation of primary school children's daily activities was monotonous. They tended to spend most of their time in school activities, private lessons after school, and studying at home. The daily trip to school has been diversified as the result the of increase in the number of double-income families, car owners, facilities for pastime, and educational facilities for private lessons after school. The selection of educational facilities for private lessons was strongly influenced by accessibility to the residence because of the limited time budget of primary school children and the controlled trip behavior by parents. The leisure activities were considered as a minor function and took place in the interval of performances of study-related activities. The high proportion of leisure activities was found in the indoor play. The amount of the time for leisure activity was very insufficient. The spatial range and time budget were strongly influenced by the institutional conditions of parents.

  • The purpose of this study was to examine predictors of move intention to silver town in Jeju Island. Participants were 449 middle age and elderly who live in Seoul, Gyungido, Inchun Metropolitan and Jeju island. Participants were completed a questionnaire and/or structured interview that included measures of socioeconomic variables, motivation to move, determinants of move selection, conditions of location, and preparation for old age. Results of descriptive analysis revealed that cognition level of sliver industry and silver town was relatively high and medical service was the best necessary field, followed by field of leisure activity, house, life and finance. Logistic regression analyses on the effects of socioeconomic variables on move intention indicated that region, occupation and house ownership had significant effects on move intention to silver town. Result of motivational effect on move intention revealed that solution of offspring's burden was the most important factor, followed by convenient life of the aged, enjoyment of freedom for the elderly life. Result on the influence of determinants of move selection indicated that medical service facilities, resort facilities and leisure, cultural service facilities had significant effect on move intention. Among conditions of location for Jeju island, mild climate, comfort environment and low-price were significant predictors on move intention. Overall, result on relative influence of individual factors indicated that low price factor was the most important predictor, followed by resort facilities, cognition on necessity of silver town, enjoyment of freedom for the elderly life, leisure cultural service facilities, and medical service facilities.

  • The purpose of this study is to determine the effects of the aerobic exercise type on macronutrient self-selection. Male Sprague-Dawley rats were placed on a macronutrient self-selection diet for 4 weeks. For this purpose, mixed feeds were prescribed for the rats while they were forced to swim and run for 4 weeks. Animals were either swimming exercise or treadmill running exercised at 20m/min(60min/day). Cumulative daily energy and macronutrient intake were determined during this period. The running exercise group gained weight much more than the control group, while the swimming exercise group lost weight less than the control group. Such findings suggests that the former group took more feed. On the other hand, the dietary efficiency of the control group was higher, which implies that no physical exercise would result in a higher dietary efficiency. And there was significant difference of total dietary and calorie intakes among the three groups, Although insignificant in statistical means, it was found that the running group took feed most, which is attributable to the homeostasis requiring the supplementation of the calorie lost by exercise. Also, the running exercise group took the protein and carbohydrate most. while the control group took fat most. The decrease of fat intake by the running exercise group suggests the possibility that the in-body enzymes should adapt themselves to the changing in-body condition caused by the endurance exercise. In contrast, it is conceived that the more intake of the carbohydrate may be attributable to the need of supplementing the nutrient lost by the endurance exercise. As discussed above, the endurance exercise group took carbohydrate and protein and less fat than control group. In particular, it was found that the amount of feed intakes was affected much by types, intensity and duration of the exercises. All in all, such findings would apply to human beings. Now can increase the intakes of carbohydrate and decrease the intake of fat through an effective running exercise program and thereby, change our dietary patterns to the benefit of our body and simultaneously, prevent and adult\\`s diseases by decreasing the in % body fat level.(Korean J Nutrition 33(8) : 794-801, 2000)

  • This study attempted to verify how the selection attribute affects customer satisfaction and participation intention to provide basic data for the efficient operation strategy of domestic futsal fields. Therefore, people who used domestic futsal fields were selected as samples, and convenience sampling methods were used. The final analysis used 271 copies of data. The data processing was conducted with the SPSS (ver. 21.0) program, which conducted frequency analysis, factor analysis and reliability analysis, correlation analysis, simple and multiple regression analysis. First, the results of the study showed that domestic futsal field selection attributes had a significant impact on customer satisfaction in the order of service, convenience, price, and facility. Second, customer satisfaction had a significant effect on participation intention. Third, the optional attributes had a significant impact on participation intention in the order of facility, service, convenience, and price. Summarizing the above results, it is believed that domestic futsal courts need to provide facilities and services that allow consumers to enjoy futsal games more conveniently and safely.

  • The increase of human activities has been extensively changed the breeding habitats of birds directly or indirectly, where the reproductive success of the birds has been seriously reduced. Leisure activities on water, such as fishing, influenced the breeding biology of waterfowls. However, few researches have been done for this in Korea. We examined the effects of fishing activity on nest selection and density of four waterfowl species at Namyang Lake: Coot (Fulica atra), Moorhen (Gallinula chloropus), Little Grebe (Podiceps ruficollis), and Great Crested Grebe (Podiceps cristatus). We divided the Namyang Lake into three study areas. Except for the number of anglers, there were no significant differences among the three study areas in the kinds of avian predators, the water depth around study areas measured for possible territorial predatory mammals' passing over, and the values of Relative Importance Percentage of occupying plants. The results showed that waterfowls bred in Namyang Lake preferred the areas with few anglers for the nests. From this study, we recommend that leisure activities including fishing should be prohibited or restricted during the breeding periods of waterfowls for the stable breeding success and that further systematic researches and managements for the species are necessary.
