Social Capital Revitalization of the Sasaq Community in Lombok, Indonesia through Learning Organization

  • The Sasaq community in Lombok, Indonesia has been recognized as a peasant community with its unique and strong social capital. Sources of social capital recognition can be derived from common terms or expressions and institutions practiced in community daily life. However, there is a trend of neglecting and ignoring those values by the community, especially the youth. Through action research, we would like to revitalize social capital of the community in supporting social and economic development in the rural level. In this paper, we introduce a Strategic Leadership and Learning Organization (SLLO) approach to build community participation in solving social and economic problems. Through regular dialogue, communities come with common agreements and collective action that are perceived as emergence property. Several common agreements are intended to solve community problems actually in line with the objectives of government designated development.

프로티언경력지향성, 지속학습활동, 주관적 경력성공의 관계에서 조직문화 불균형성의 조절된 매개효과 (The Moderated Mediating Effect of Organization Cultural unbalance on the relationship among the Protean Career Orientation, Continuous Learning Activity and Subjective Career Success)

  • 본 연구는 프로티언 경력지향성이 지속학습활동을 통해 주관적 경력성공에 영향을 미치는 매개과정에 대해서 조직문화 불균형성이 조절변인으로서의 역할을 하는지를 확인하기 위해 실시되었다. 이를 위해 대기업 경력 5년 이상의 사무직 근로자 276명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였으며, SPSS 25와 Process Macro v3.5를 활용하여 자료를 분석하였다. 분석 결과 프로티언 경력지향성이 주관적 경력성공에 영향을 미치는 관계를 지속학습활동이 매개하는 것은 확인되었지만, 조직문화 불균형성의 조절효과 및 조절된 매개효과는 통계적으로 유의하지 않았다. 그러나 프로티언 경력지향성의 하위변인인 '자기주도성'이 지속학습활동을 통해 주관적 경력성공 및 그 하위변인 '고용가능성', '경력만족'에 영향을 미치는 매개과정에 대한 조직문화 불균형성의 조절 효과는 통계적으로 유의하게 나타났다. 마지막으로 본 연구의 시사점에 제한점, 후속연구 제언을 논의하였다.

Calculated Damage of Italian Ryegrass in Abnormal Climate Based World Meteorological Organization Approach Using Machine Learning

  • This study was conducted to calculate the damage of Italian ryegrass (IRG) by abnormal climate using machine learning and present the damage through the map. The IRG data collected 1,384. The climate data was collected from the Korea Meteorological Administration Meteorological data open portal.The machine learning model called xDeepFM was used to detect IRG damage. The damage was calculated using climate data from the Automated Synoptic Observing System (95 sites) by machine learning. The calculation of damage was the difference between the Dry matter yield (DMY)normal and DMYabnormal. The normal climate was set as the 40-year of climate data according to the year of IRG data (1986~2020). The level of abnormal climate was set as a multiple of the standard deviation applying the World Meteorological Organization (WMO) standard. The DMYnormal was ranged from 5,678 to 15,188 kg/ha. The damage of IRG differed according to region and level of abnormal climate with abnormal temperature, precipitation, and wind speed from -1,380 to 1,176, -3 to 2,465, and -830 to 962 kg/ha, respectively. The maximum damage was 1,176 kg/ha when the abnormal temperature was -2 level (+1.04℃), 2,465 kg/ha when the abnormal precipitation was all level and 962 kg/ha when the abnormal wind speed was -2 level (+1.60 ㎧). The damage calculated through the WMO method was presented as an map using QGIS. There was some blank area because there was no climate data. In order to calculate the damage of blank area, it would be possible to use the automatic weather system (AWS), which provides data from more sites than the automated synoptic observing system (ASOS).

Organizational Factors of the Successful Adoption in User-Centered Design

  • Purpose - This study is to integrate organizational factors into UCD process. For this research purpose, we investigated the organizational factors which influence people behaviors in the context of user-centred design practice(UCP). And this study presents organizational culture, organizational learning and change management as the organizational factors. Especially, this study is to investigate how change management influences the relationship between the organizational culture/learning and UCD performance. Research design, data, and methodology - Using the survey methodology with a questionnaire, this study distributed the questionnaire to the experienced 112 practitioners of user-centred design practice in 52 Korean small and medium companies. The organizations differed in range and size from medium-scale, which is under 100 of employees, and to small-scale, which is from 100 to 500. Results - Organizational culture and organizational learning have positive effects on user-centred design practice performance as expected. And change management strengthens the positive relationship between organizational learning and user-centred design practice performance but has no effect on the relationship between organizational culture and user-centred design practice performance. Conclusions - This is the first empirical study of investigating and demonstrating some key organizational factors' relationships and UCD performance of an organization, which will support to institutionalize UCD within an organization, providing theoretical foundations.

A Case Study of a Role-Play Course for Undergraduate Airline Service Students

  • This study utilizes the image contents, one of the social interaction activities, in role-play. The one-semester class results were used for analysis to prepare teaching-learning plans for the department of aviation services. This study helped students in the Department of Aviation Services understand the airline cabin organization and examined whether it would help them understand the airline cabin organization and examine whether it would help them communicate with customers. In role-play classes, learners or groups of learners use role-playing dialogues to create role-plays and create communication situations similar to the real world.

수출비용절감을 위한 3PL업체의 통합조직능력에 관한 실증연구 (An Empirical Study on the Integrated Organization Abilities in Third Party Logistics Korean Company for Reduction of Export Expense)

  • Third party logistics research is searching for increasing its logistics efficiency of organization. Perspective of resource-based theory, this study is to reveal the exploratory relation between integrated capabilities, organzaiton knowledge, and service performance. To develop the relational model, this study conducted a theoretical survey on Shang(2009)'s 3PL service providers research model and Synder & Cumming(1998)'s learning of organization knowledge. According to the result of correlation analysis, Integrated organization knowledge is positively correlated with service diversity advantage (correlation coefficient= .670, p-value= .000) and service quality advantage (correlation coefficient= .575, p-value= .000). The thesis argued that Korean companies try to apply integrated organization abilities and service performance for cutting their export expense.

How to Build a Learning Capability for Innovation? A Framework of Market-Based Learning Process

  • Learning organization has been an important issue in both management and marketing areas. Also learning capability is a key construct of innovation process in a firm. Especially, in marketing context, several researchers have studied market-based learning and its relation with performance. Previous studies have shown that market-based learning has a positive impact on overall firm performance. However, there has been inconsistency in the concept of market-based learning itself and its relationships with antecedents and consequences. Given this conflicting and inconsistent results of previous research, this study has two main objectives. First, this paper proposed a conceptual framework that marketbased learning has two types of processes and each types of market-based learning will generate different types of performance. Second, the mediating role of marketing capability in learning-performance link is proposed. The proposed conceptual framework shows that organizations which have marketbased learning for innovation management can enjoy ambidextrous firm performance on both side of effectiveness and efficiency via marketing capability. Moreover our research model proposes key drivers of market based organizational learning.

과학기술정책을 위한 국가학습조직모형

  • This paper suggests a model of Living & Learning Nation as a new ploicy framework. It is a combination of Living Nation and Learning Nation. Living Nation model takes the nation as a living entity composed of spirit, resource, and communication : it grows but healthy and balanced growth is needed, its organs are closely connected, it has a circulation system, the 'spirit' factor plays the central role, etc.. Learning Nation model is a national level version of learning organization concept. The model defines new perspectives on the objectives, span of means, and the role of government in S&T policy. Therefore, the model can be used to give new insights to policymakers of developing countries facing the knowledge-based economy.

  • 본 사례에서는 국내 IT 벤처기업인 유니데이타커뮤니케이션(주)의 단계적인 국제화 경험이 학습역량 강화를 통해 경영성과에 기여하는 일련의 국제화 과정을 조직학습이론으로 설명하였다. 이는 조직의 국제화 경험이 국제화 성과의 중요한 결정요인이며 조직학습을 통해 배양된 학습역량은 경영성과에 기여한다는 기존 연구결과를 기반으로 하고 있다. 더불어, 창업기부터 꾸준히 국제화를 추진한 IT 벤처기업의 국제화학습 특성을 기존지식 활용(Exploitation)과 새로운 지식 탐색(Exploration)으로 구분하여 분석하였다. 분석결과, 대기업에 비해 내부자원이 취약한 벤처기업은 파트너 네트워크를 활용한 탐색과 활용을 통해 새로운 국제화 경험을 축적하였다. 축적된 국제화 경험은 학습 역량 강화를 통해 기업의 내부역량으로 배태(embedded)되어 궁극적으로 경영성과에 유의미하게 작용함을 사례를 통해 확인 할 수 있었다.

기업의 지식경영 성공요인이 직무충실도 및 조직성과에 미치는 영향 : 조직학습의 매개효과를 중심으로 (The Effect of Success Factors of Corporate Knowledge Management on Business Fidelity and Organization Performance: focusing on the mediating effect of organizational learning)

  • 최근 경영환경이 지속적으로 변화되고 과열 경쟁이 이루어지게 되면서, 기업은 시대에 대처하기 위하여 지식경영을 도입하여 기업의 가치 증대 및 경쟁력 강화를 유도하고자 하고 있다. 지식경영은 새로운 지식을 창조하고, 창조된 지식을 조직 전 영역에 확산시키고 이를 통해 상품이나 서비스, 시스템으로 형상화하는 것으로 지식을 기반으로 하는 기업운영방식을 말하는데, 본 연구에서는 구조방정식모형을 바탕으로 지식경영 핵심성공요인이 직무충실도 및 조직성과에 미치는 영향과 그 관계에서 조직학습의 매개효과에 대해 알아보았다. 또한 지식경영에 미치는 주요 핵심요인으로 조직문화, 정보기술, 프로세스를 활용하였으며, 조직학습은 실험학습, 간접학습, 공유학습으로 유형화하여 분석하였다. 그 결과에 의하면, 지식경영은 직무충실도 및 조직성과에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 조직학습을 매개로 하여 직 간접적으로 직무충실도와 조직성과에 긍정적인 영향을 주는 것으로 분석되었다. 따라서 기업에서 지식경영 활용의 중요성을 확인할 수 있었으며, 기업이 지식경영 및 조직학습을 적용하는데 있어 적절한 적용범위를 제시할 수 있었다.
